In 2009, I went to Ukraine with my school to help in schools and an orphanage, it's sad to know that most of that area is completely destroyed now. Comment: Thank you for the postcard of the Walcott Museum. I had to laugh when I saw the town, MAUMEE, OH. I got my one and only speeding ticket traveling from IL to MA. What a day that was! Me, my girlfriend, my three children12, 8 and 18months), her daughter(9 months), my cat and her dog all arrived at the court house. What a zoo. When it came to my turn 2 hours later, I could wait for court to resume at 6:00pm or pay the $25 ticket and waiver the court cost and pay an additional $100.00. Guess what I paid all the fees and wanted to get out of there as it was only 10:00 in the morning. I haven't thought about that for many years(happened in 1975). Laughing now at the memory. Shirley

Comment: Thank you for the picture of the groundhogs. We have a family of them that live under our front porch. I have never taken a picture of them, they run away if they see me. Boy are they fast!
Response: They lived literally right near our basement so I would sneak down to get pictures. They got pretty friendly with us and even if we sat on the deck right above them they wouldn't run away. Probably because the "father" lived with us for about 5 years. Glad you liked the photos!

Comment: Thank you, the paper of your ATC is very thin. You have to use cardstock or paintingpaper. I use Canson Acrylic paper 400 g. (190 lbs).
Response: i bought the paper from someone on etsy who specializes in ATC blanks. that's all i send in swaps and have never had any issues with it on here or ATCsForAll & i've been in hundreds of atc swaps. you're the first to have an issue. -shrugs- hope you like the atc i made you.

Comment: Weird pc but cute! It did come with postage due - 20 cents "Non-Standard Surcharge." Not a big deal, but wanted to let you know for future swaps.
Response: I'm sorry! But, It most certainly shouldn't have. It said right on the postcard 'Letter Rate' - which means a 45 cent stamp which is what I put on it. Oversized postcards only are 45 cents - I made sure before I sent it by asking my PO. I would go back to your post office & drop them some knowledge. Haha. My other partner didn't get postage due.

I love the church postcards. The churches are architecturally different to churches in Australia and definately different to the cathedrals of Europe.

Thanks so much... with the first day of spring so lovely here, we heard neighborhood (we'll assume) kids already setting off fireworks tonight! Have to say that today was THAT awesome, though! P.S. Cute mice cooperation stamp, too!

Mainly because I am so tall, and it sucks trying to find clothes that fit me correctly. =( I hate trying on things, only to take them off because they don't fit. Errr. =P

Comment: Thank you for the Buffy card. I watched one season of it and I still absolutely love the musical show ;)! But I never had a favorite in this show, as I was never really into it. I was too young when it was in TV and wasn't allowed to watch it on that time (my parents wanted to watch their series back then), so I only saw it when I was home alone or at friends home ;)!
Maybe one day I will get them on DVD and watch it all in a row. :)

Comment: Aww, I LOVE Ron Perlman! He's so awesome. He's the man!!! =P New Zealand TV is ridiculous, so I watched True Blood season 3 online. Ugh. I do NOT like Tara. I never have, she annoys me so much. Lafayette is awesome, and I seriously adore Terry. Eric.. mmm... Sookie is starting to irritate me though! Especially the way she just gave up and took off with the faeries! Oh lawd, and Alcide. Sweet jaysus, that man is just UNF!

Response: omg, i know. i used to have it at school when i was in like 6th grade. i loved that stuff. i was thinking about it one day & checked it out on wikipedia. it's only in canada & australia i believe. however if you go to mcdonalds & they have minute maid strawberry that's actually fruitopia but they changed it to minute maid. it's a coke product after all. =)

Comment: Hi Kayla! Not all of the Borders are closing, 200 of the 600 stores are :( We were one of the unlucky ones. The company needed a bailout... they couldn't pay their creditors, and for GE to bail them out they required 1/3 of the stores to close. 4 of my co-workers are swap-botters too... we are wondering how we are going to pay our postage addiction! LOL
