Comment: Received your cute card and all the wonderful goodies inside. I just love the treat bags, great for journal pockets. We live in the country too. I did a campground Halloween years ago when my kiddos were little and it was the most fun! I hope you like it as much as we did, even if yours “kid” is a bit older. My thought is as long as they dress up, they should keep having fun. Can only be a young person once. Happy Halloween 👻

Comment: I think some people really do persist after death, or at least some very strongly-intentioned part does. Electronics always acted strangely in the houses on my uncle's street. Every house in the neighbourhood I'd been in had something odd, like whispering speakers that were turned off, TVs suddenly coming on, at one point my Nokia had an incoming call that was just... like "pieces" of numbers, if you remember those displays? Radios coming on, lights going off or on were normal. You know what you heard on the phone and it was meant for you. <3

Response: ohhhhh I am so glad you enjoyed them. They are hard to find I think because Halloween in not a Japanese Holiday. Although they have a few things that can be found in their stores. I have friends in Kyoto that sometimes decorate their house and yard for American holidays...LOL May I ask where you buy your Kawaii supplies from? Take care :)

Response: That sounds like fun! I should plan to do that this next October. I participated in a swap from a Facebook group and it is 31 little packages all numbered and they're wrapped in Halloween paper or gift bags/boxes. Opening each one on the appropriate day and then usually the last one on the 31st is a little bigger. I got my partner a ceramicHalloween mug and loaded it with her favorite candies. It's an expense swap so I don't know if that would work here on SB or not.

Then when the world went into this pandemic it became extremely difficult to order anything from overseas. It is better now but postage and shipping prices have increased so I don't order as much. Comment: I love all this Halloween Kawaii paper! I have never seen this type before. <3 You like candy corn?! I don't dislike it as much as some at least to try it but I am done after a piece. I did try the Brach's Turkey dinner candy corn which was odd and reminded me of Jelly Belly jelly beans. Hehe. I would like to try the acorn squash with apples dish. That sounds delicious. It is interesting how fall has so many wonderful scents, tastes and colors. <3

Comment: I really wish I could help you can those tomatoes. I can still remember helping my neighbor blanch them to peel off the skins. Her hands could handle such hot temperatures but I still tried. I remember putting in the basil leaf into the pot to make the stewed tomatoes. Nothing tasted better than those. Also, I would like to amend my idea of throwing candy at the kids for Halloween. I think that FULL sized candy would be preferred. You, know for the kids. "OUCH! Hey! It's a full sized Snickers! Score!"

If a neighbor or farmer friend calls and says they have too many tomatoes, beans, beets, corn, etc then I’m compelled to save / preserve the foods 😆 in the end there’s always goodies for my chickens. Comment: I like Frankenweenie and Addam's Family movies too! I am not sure what they will do for Halloween this year. My thought would be to do a drive by candy toss at kids in their yards that are all dressed up. Something tells me that won't happen but it would be hilarious! I learned quite a bit about canning as a child but didn't use the knowledge as I grew since I didn't have the garden to can. Seeing your IG pictures brought sweet memories back. Made me wish I could come over and help with the canning. Not the garden, though yours is so pretty. I'm too indoorsy. :)
Response: Drive by candy toss would be fun....I actually thought of that. Canning help is always appreciated ;) I have two boxes of over ripe tomatoes sitting in my kitchen floor waiting for me to do something with them but I'm tired, canning supplies are being rationed or are not to be found. I have 40 qts of chopped tomatoes already so.....sauce, ketchup, or maybe just dry some...I can't decide and I'm achy so.....basically uninspired. My husband said for me not to stress over them. The chicken feed costs money and giving them tomatoes is not a big deal. Everything gets used and not wasted so that makes me feel better. It's a LOT of work gardening and canning. My boys have learned that CAN do it whether or not the WILL when they're older. Our daughter hates being outside....she would rather not ever have to be outside...seriously. She would starve before she would plant a garden and tend it. :-D

Response: I have a paracord line on a pulley. The pulley wheel is attached to a post on my back porch and the line runs out to a tall tree. It used to be attached to the corner of our barn/shop. I can stand in one place (usually in the shade) and hang clothes and push the line out as I go. Yes the flower is from a tree in my yard. I think I posted a picture of the tree on my insta wall.

Comment: Thank you so much for the washi sample! Your remembered how much I loved the little lime one. <3 Camping sucks. There, I said it. I didn't like sleeping on the ground as a kid. Anyways, yea I noticed that as campers aged they bought RVs. Hehe. The tear drop ones look pretty cool and can be towed behind a car. I have wanted to go on a social distancing staycation. I would like to drive to a bigger city, shop and then go home. Then I think about actually doing that and stay home. Just going for a drive does sound nice though.
Response: We went for a day out and took snacks, stopped and played putt putt. They were cleaning all putters with disinfectant and washing the balls in buckets of the same type cleaner. They timed and spaced everyone out. I really appreciated their procedures. Maybe something like that? I think our camping trip this last time made my husband realize it's not so relaxing at our age ...hahahha...

Also, I'm quite glad to know that you are 53 and interested in kawaii things and kpop/jpop. Often I hear comments about "This lady is too old for this thing" or "she needs to dress her age" and I feel it's more important to proudly enjoy the things that you enjoy and wear the things that you want to wear instead of trying to please other people. It is inspiring to me to know that you are proudly enjoying kawaii things and kpop, as I also enjoy some of those things and a few fashion styles that most people attribute to younger crowds. Response: No, I don't store them loose. I keep them in their bags/packs they came in whether it is the tiny cute swap bags or the packs they actually were purchased in. Comment: The teas look delicious! Yeah I do play online games. I play Hearthstone and Magic Arena on the computer and on my phone I play Real Defense, Pocket Mine 3, and Battle Cats. Gudetama Tap sounds fun!

Response: I'm so glad you like it all. I DD any time I have a open opportunity. 😁 Usually about once a week. I have heard of amazing college move out hauls but haven't ventured out. Nearest dorm/ big college town is over a hour one way. I stop for curbside treasures when I spot them. I have been decked out in dress clothes and heels dragging stuff into my truck! Rofl at myself.
