Response: I hope that you try it! I have been waaay to happy to iron lately!!
Response: So glad that you got the Pi reference! Your patches are inspirational and I am going to get to trying screen printing out this summer!
Response: That's hilarious! I stress about opening mail correctly with my weirder experiments -- a few wrecked newspaper hats has taught me to be cautious!! :) Packing tape rocks when combined with ironed plastic bags!
Response: Thanks -- I was totally challenged by this, but it was a lot of fun!
Response: Glad you liked them -- I love the symbolism behind the cool patterns.

Response: Awesome -- that was the most amazing piece of sparkly crap that I could find around here -- I don't sparkle so much as perspire :) I feel inspired to make sparkly unicorn poop cookies now!
Response: OH, what a wonderful swap -- it brings tears to my eyes to see my RPS appreciated, and to find Hector and Holle a new home! Holle was stuffed, not sure if I should have sent her that way, but hey! She's yours now. Just know that Hector has a big crush on her and I have no control over his thumb-wrestling instincts. Lice removal tips was sent as a solicitation in the mail. Bacon affirmative, colonoscopy negative, but that would make a very interesting coaster, indeed. The chameleon using the sink was a visual for my son. The wedding PC was found in the library stacks, I thought it completely unique but found an identical one in an antique store after I sent you the other one! I am not sure why I put the scarf on the wabbit -- I probably thought it might look cute and didn't want to throw away that teensy scrap of fabric ... Well, anyway, thanks for appreciating all the strange RPS that goes down here!!

Response: It would be interesting to experiment more with different paints, types of towels, and paintbrushes! I wish I could see more people's techniques, too. I can see the potential with a lot of themes here! Thanks for the swap idea!
Response: Oh, I am glad it was Burns-y enough. I got quite caught up in the spirit of the thing. My family thought I was a little unhinged, as I sang songs at top volume with a tear in my eye and went around extolling the virtues of the man :)

Response: Glad that you liked the swap! Wish I had been a bit neater ... sigh. I was that kid who ran the pink tissue paper into the green and made a sticky gluey mess :) Drove the art teacher crazy because I never could follow a set of her careful directions carefully!
Response: Thanks, you as well. That darn heart -- it gets a little broken, sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way :)
Response: You're welcome -- hope it makes you smile :)
Response: :) Isn't it funny, the way we think of things so differently when we don't know a place ?! When I was an exchange student and told people that I came from an area near Chicago, many asked me about gangsters from the 1930's :)

Response: I am very glad that it suited you -- Merry Christmas :)
Response: Oh, I am so glad that you liked it! I had set it aside and after I read your profile it just seemed right for you :)

Response: Aw, thanks. I don't know what to say, but thanks :) All of the ones from this swap went to my neighbor, who strings them up in her backyard for us all to enjoy. It was really fun for me to be able to give her a bunch :)
Response: :) We actually replaced one desk with a cabinet I found on Craigslist that holds my sewing machines and magazines/paper for collages! Also, we put up bulletin boards to put random scraps of things on to inspire us :) So embarrassing.... Thank goodness that my kids are so entertaining, keeps my mind off it!
Response: Yes, it has too many uses! The best part about this is that my daughter actually threw some scraps of paper in the recycling (and I did, too ;) Thanks so much for the encouragement!

Response: I am glad that you liked it -- it was fun and I really hope it comes in useful if those Saber-males show up :) I'd personally rather not go up against them. Or those deadly robot assassins I saw on a show once -- what was it called? Five Doctors, or something like that?
Response: Surprisingly, it wasn't, and I kept checking the tag over and over to be sure! Bless those thrift shop ladies! There was, however, a ring that was 3 inches tall that was made by a local artist that was quite fascinating and expensive! I didn't buy it, but it was very interesting. And there were postcards of donkeys that were 5x as expensive as the cotton Givenchy scarf! Love it :) I am so glad that you liked them.
Response: Hey, thanks! Doesn't it feel good to look at a clean room??!
Response: Aw, thanks, I am totally in for Round Two -- the kitchen cupboards are now painted but their contents are not fully restocked and are in Rubbermaid tubs in the hallway ... ugh.
Response: I also want to know what she is reading, she is really engaged :) The amazing thing about this book of PC's, which is all women reading, was that it was sent to me as an "extra" by an eBay seller. I felt so lucky to receive it, and now I get to pass one of the postcards on to eepypost!
Response: Yes, they are old books that were damaged -- I borrowed some paper from them and folded the lilies :) Then I brushed mod podge and dimensional mod podge on them and threaded them with wires that had been coiled on one end. I got the idea from a really cool book :)
Response: :) Yes, we are excited! We need ti get back to reviewing all the old Doctor videos -- we are between Pertwee and Baker!!
Response: I am glad that you liked it :) I don't think that I have ever done any significant espionage. But I think it would be a more pleasant experience if Carousel cookies were involved!
Response: I have a passion for frosted Carousel cookies, can you tell at all? I think I eat 4 at a time, just to be safe :) Of course, you are a professional baker, so I am sure that your cookies are much better!
Response: Thanks so much, you as well!

Response: I am so glad that you like them. The IKEA fabric is really wild! I am going to keep working on my jewelry techniques :)

Response: You're welcome, I really hope they suit you -- this is kind of a leap for me, but it was a fun leap :)
Response: Oh, no! After the repour and everything! Gnashing of teeth. Well, I am going to make that mini-book happen, somehow, resin or no resin. In fact, a smashed penny from OC arrived the day I sent the swap, so there is a bit more inspiration left :) Did the earrings come apart, too? -- they were a different material, so I really hope they were safe!
Response: Oh, that is really great! She so enjoyed making it (and I think, sneaking the candy behind my back :) We'll have to do it again sometime!
Response: I am glad that you liked it!! The fangs kind of reminded me of those creepy Angels ... shiver. Love the episode where the Statue of Liberty became an angel :)

Response: Yes, please do! I'd be very curious :) Is there a cheese that is native to Alaska? There are many great cheeses in Wisconsin, but sadly no octopi in Lakes Michigan or Superior! I hope that you had a great trip! I pulled out the bird prince the other day and thought of you :)

Response: Oh, I am so glad that you liked the beer and baseball :) Hard to get more local than down the block, and they have a fun little beer garden, too! Every August the local geology museum has a party there and they screen some geology-ish movie (Jurassic Park, Night at the Museum, etc) for the kids. It's so fun to sit in a beer garden staring at a Tyrannosaurus skull reproduction :)
Response: All right -- so glad I was able to contribute MAM -- it is really a beautiful place! Hope you are able to armchair travel a bit this summer!
Response: I am so glad that you liked it, I got so into being a little kid while making it :) I was afraid the little kid messiness wasn't quite the thing, but it was so fun to make, I was right back in my father's office messing with his office supplies!
Response: :) Yay!! Now I am smiling and going to have a good day! Glad you liked the tea -- we were out of chai, as my husband takes all the chai to work to share with the librarians :)
Response: I am glad that you liked them -- I want to do the one with the arrows and the tato ones again :) I think that I am now obsessed with tato!

Response: I am glad that you liked it -- it was a very unusual piece, but a thought-provoking one :)
Response: I am so glad that you liked it -- I really enjoy the painting. I looked into Frederic Leighton after I sent it and now recall that I enjoyed another painting of his a while back. He spent a lot of time on this one, and did many studies for it.
Response: Oh, I hope that you try some! The ones I like that are most widely available are Crispin and also Strongbow (although it can't compare with Crispin!) I am not as skilled with applying glue as I would like to be, so I use the sewing trick a lot :)
Response: So glad that you liked it -- I am drinking another of my favorite ciders for the next swap :) I just love the depth of Scotch ales! Don't drink them very much, but I am happy when I do! Too bad I didn't think of using two apple stamps , though -- that would have been cute. I think that I sent your with a Lydia Mendoza one? I was so excited to find those (along with Johnny Cash yesterday -- yeah!)
Response: I was looking for side F for another 10 minutes or so as well -- I tried the "double flex" trick that I discovered when I was looking for B and it jammed and I had to go backwards. My husband said that I was imagining that F was there -- so glad to know that it exists, and I am sorry I missed it! Never hexaflex for the first time without an experienced guide, I guess -- thanks! Ecuador is beautiful -- it has been so long since I have been there, but I remember the green mountains very vividly! :)
Response: :) Hey, thanks! Maybe it is just the adjustment to being less mobile again, thanks to a toddler! Just when my daughter was getting a bit more portable ... but I wouldn't trade my son for a zillion other adventures!
Response: Nor I without you! I am glad that you liked it. It was a bit hard not to pull the jersey too much :) I was going to go red again with the strip across the top, but the green and blue just clamored to join in the fun!
Response: I'm happy that you liked it -- a really fun challenge! Have you considered a "draw a gravestone/ grave marker" swap with your group? I would trek out to a cemetery to try it :)
Response: So glad that you liked it :)
Response: It's a bit hard to find dokkaebi stories in English, I think, but Dokkebi Bride (a Korean manga -- manhwa) and this web site: http://albinogoth.wordpress.com/tag/dokkaebi-stories/ have a few. I can't wait to read more :)
Response: I am so glad that you liked them! Sometimes watercolors are a surprise -- you never know when some color that wicks up into another is going to end up being "just right!"
Response: I am so glad that you liked it! I is a Korean folktale; I found a Japanese version of it, too. [Here is a link to some more stories, and the original version that I found](http://albinogoth.wordpress.com/tag/dokkaebi-stories/) .
Response: It is a really fun idea, wish I could see what you are going to create! I was not sure that I could pull off a picture of a headspin (and I am sure that it could be much better!), so I am glad that you liked it:)
Response: I forgot to put color in the sketches, just realized that! I am glad that you were able to visualize it from the description :) Somehow, you keep getting "mom" stories from me! I am looking forward to more fun RabbitHeart exchanges :)
Response: I am so glad that you like it -- especially as you live much closer to the Daintree than I do! I was really surprised that there were not a lot of words coming out of me on this one, so I am glad that the piece told its own story :)
Response: I am so glad that it arrived. Thanks so much for participating in the swap.
Response: So glad that you and your husband like Ngadiku! The Daintree rainforest seems really amazing -- I loved the photos that I found, too. The creatures as well... I read somewhere that it is the world's oldest rainforest!
Response: I am really glad that you liked it -- fun to make, even if I got the play wrong at first :) I love the annual APT brochures, they are always really clever.
Response: Now I am a fashion blog junkie -- oh, the power of the swap!
Response: I regret that I could not send brats, cheese, or Packers-related fun, but I hear Aaron Rodgers is going to be on The Office this week ... :)
Response: I love the image of ideas colliding -- like little subatomic particles -- wait, that describes my brain!
Response: I'm so glad that you liked it! I had never really thought about the titles -- the first one was inspired by someone's profile and the second just came to me. But now I am thinking about the possibilities ... Beans and Breakdancing; Eggs and Economics; Narnia and Noodles? Guess I'd better make some breakfast!
Response: I am really glad that you like it -- I was playing around with blue and pink for a couple projects at the same time, and it just called out to me "I need a ladybug!"
Response: I am glad that you liked the red! It was a lot of fun to lay out. I hadn't imagined that I would focus on the layout, but it seemed like that was the fun part (well, and dissolving the stabilizer and seeing what it looked like!)! I am so excited about the stabilizer, even if it does gum up the needle a bit :)
Response: I chose the PC for the expressions -- they are so interesting and ... readable :) I am glad that you liked it and like your fabulous name, too!
Response: Dinotopia -- now there's a trip down memory lane! So, do you have a favorite dinosaur?

Response: :) It is sort of like the confluence of our 2 states, come to think of it!
Response: Isn't that a fun one? Makes me wonder what inspired it! My daughter liked it when she was little. I also like 2 other rhymes about sausage, I confess! Alas, no sausage origami did I find, but the bacon was pretty fun, as was the cupcake. I am so glad that you and your gf had fun with them!
Response: Oh, she was so proud when she read this! I think she is floating on air! I think the Ace of Alligators was one of her favorites, too :) Thanks for hosting such a fun swap!
Response: I like the sauce that comes with the falafel; I have never figured out exactly what it is, but it reminds me of tzatziki (?) sauce on gyros ... mmmm....
Response: I am so glad that you liked it ... I wasn't so sure when I first laid it out, it seemed a bit bland(except the butterfly!), but I did like the way it came together ... spring serendipity :) I am not very good at piecing :)
Response: Wow, that is impressive -- I know that they are constantly coming up with stuff -- inspiring.
Response: I am glad that you liked it ... hope that I can come up with something interesting again this month! Also, I now know that there is an enye in Canada!
Response: I am glad that you enjoyed it -- especially given your excellent taste in books (I am a big Terry Pratchett fan :)! Discworld cheeses ... now there would be a good theme!
Response: :) I am glad that you liked it -- I need to get out there again, too -- as soon as it warms up again! Brr!

Response: I'm glad you liked it -- I had fun picking it out and writing it, even if I did go on about decorating :)
Response: I hope it leaves soon -- warm today, now it is supposed to be in the low 40's again. The daffodils are budding but they have little frostbite lines on all the leaves ... oh, well. That's the thing about Spring -- it Springs eternal, right :)? I wish I could grow watermelon well -- mine always seem to have problems. Maybe it's the soil.
Response: Ooh, sounds cool! Let me know all about it!
Response: So glad that the spoons eventually got there -- it was a really fun swap idea! Now if only I could find a way to package teacups safely :)
Response: So glad that you liked them -- I dithered quite a bit about the accent color before going with the red ... I had a wilder print but I don't think that it suited the teal quite as well :)

Response: Glad that you liked them -- I was a bit concerned about the bleeding decoupage medium in the first one, but I liked the colors, then saw that money envelope and decided that you really needed a money envelope collage PC!
Response: I am so glad that you liked it -- it is quite a bright color, and I had forgotten to apologize for refolding and refolding it 20 times. Now I will have to make a small flock of flaming o's.
Response: I'm glad that you liked them -- I loved that image of Pemberley through the trees -- very Romantic. I bet there are some owls in them?
Response: I'm so glad that you liked the boat's name -- it was the first thing I thought of, and then the little song that went with it ... much more French than most pirate shanties ...
Response: I'm glad that you liked them; this was a fun swap to make and I'd love to do it again!
Response: Merci beaucoup pour corriger mon francais! I really want to do better with the writing! I'm so glad that you liked the postcard!
Response: Oh, I saved one for myself:) I am really glad that you enjoyed the chicks crossing the road!
Response: I hope that the recipient likes it!! Happy Easter!
Response: You're welcome -- hope that one of them works out for you!
Response: J'ai su qu'il y aurait quelque chose importante en cette carte postale! Merci pour les mots gentils -- mon francais c'est vraiment affreux/ mauvais -- je le sais! Je lis beaucoup mieux que j'ecris :)
Response: So glad that you liked them! Still snow on the ground, but there is more daylight :)
Response: :) I am really glad that it found its home -- not the only one with a new home -- congrats!
Response: So glad that you liked her! She just appealed to me, such a dainty duck!
Response: It may sound funny, but I would like to get better at using glue! I always seem to smear it or the pieces come loose :)
Response: I'm glad it wasn't too purple -- somehow it started out more green but just decided to drift purple! Finding the purple feather pin was fun -- my father had carved a pin in the same woodcarving class, I think, but his had a blue jay design. The white pin reminded me of Monet's lilies a little bit.
Response: I love your creative scarf swaps! I am contemplating the t-shirt one just now ... but I am looking forward to the one with the wash away interfacing!
Response: Thanks so much for your letter! It brightened my day. It is getting a little bit more springlike here, despite the snow and rain :) Went sledding on Thursday -- it might be the last time this year, despite my daughter's wishes!
Response: I love the idea, I really do. It's a good question to ask myself sometimes, what would it look like? What would I love to see in the world, and what can I do every day to get there? Thanks so much for a beautiful reminder of another element to think about, and for participating!
Response: Picnic by the ocean images being sent your way ... what would you pack :) ?
Response: I hope that you check out Maangchi's web site -- she makes it so easy! I also love Korean food and hope to keep practicing with her! I like how she offers alternatives if you can't find every ingredient. I have found a bit of Korean cooking advice on swapbot, too! What is your favorite dish?
Response: I'm glad that you liked it -- hope to do more collages -- there are so many directions to go in, aren't there?
Response: Thanks for the idea -- I am excited to make more of these for Mother's Day and a baby shower!
Response: Thanks, I enjoyed making it - I hope to get better at the collage thing over time! Thanks for your kind words.
Response: Estoy feliz que le gusto los fotos! Era una viajecita muy divertida para mi familia, incluso para mis ninos! Era un dia especial porque estaban volando muchas aguilas esa dia. (I'm happy that you liked the photos. My family really enjoyed this little trip, including the kids.It was a special day, because there were a lot of eagles flying around to watch.) Sorry for very bad Spanish skills!
Response: I am glad that you liked it -- yours are really amazing and I felt a bit awkward about mine :)
Response: Oh, I am glad that you liked them. I was wishing that the stamps had turned out a little sharper, especially the Wookie one! We have a ceramic Chewbacca made by my husband when he was in middle school, I think. Would love to see some of your more fabulous collection highlights!
Response: Aww, thanks for the heart, this was not my proudest Swap-bot moment, but this scarf does seem to have a mind of its own ... I'm glad that it will fit in when you go to NYC! I will be working on those sweater scrap roses soon ... maybe they'll be a little more sedate?
Response: I'm glad that you liked it! Hope that you are well.
Response: Not as wonderful as your long walk letter, I'm afraid, but I am looking forward to a long walk sometime soon!
Response: I really liked Snuff -- of course, Sam Vimes is one of my favorite Discworld characters, and I love how doggedly he pursues justice. Unseen Academicals is my current read -- I only skimmed it when it was released. I am almost exclusively "reading" by audiobook, sadly. Toddler related literacy deficit :) I hope that you enjoy Thursday Next, Stig, and Pickwick! I love Fforde's Nursery Crime series as well ...
Response: Hooray! I am sure that it will become part of something wonderful. I had fun picking out the postcards, the Danish one and the children ones in particular :)
Response: Phew! I am glad that the tape fiasco did not keep your package from you. I had tape stuck to the dash board, tape stuck to itself, tape stuck to my fingers ... I needed a little Moon Crystal Power, I'm telling ya! Glad you liked the swap -- it was fun to make!
Response: Thanks, I think I was just a little frustrated about not being able to dig out the free motion foot. It's still sooo coooold! I would love to make a few all-fabric ATC's, I think that would be a fun challenge!
Response: I am looking forward to it! I am very glad that you liked the drawings. I am not proud of all of them, but I felt accomplished, finishing the project! It was a lot of fun, and I'd love to try it again sometime.
Response: Oh, I am glad that you liked it -- I wasn't sure if you'd like the goats as much as I did! The pygmy goats are cute, but I think I am most fond of Nubians, because we had them as a little kid, and they are so affectionate!
Response: Thanks, it was fun to look at all the languages! And I would love to see a peaceful year :)
Response: Glad you liked it! Happy January 19!
Response: Awww, I am very glad that you enjoy it. Scarves, to me, are like a little joy that drapes around my neck!
Response: I am so glad that the ATC's suit you! I immediately thought of the meditation researchers after reading your profile -- and brains make me think of neurotransmitters -- but that comparison of neurotransmission to Trans Atlantic cable! That was precious! So glad it describes your energy work as well :)
Response: So glad that Red Steampunk Tribal Grunge Riding Hood suits you! She is one of the favorites I have made recently ... I think that I was thinking of theater costumes as I made her :) Wouldn't it be fun to made a hooded scarf like that? Hmmmm .... Maybe with Wolf ears?
Response: Oh, I am really happy that you like the soap! This was a fun swap, and I wanted you to enjoy your swap as well as I liked mine :) I can't take credit for the driftwood ornament, but I really like how the artist finds faces in all these little pieces of driftwood, too. Aloha, and I hope we meet again on Swap-bot :)
Response: Thanks, Charmaine70, I am really glad that you received it! I just love getting my swap-bot mail, and I am a bit sad when it doesn't arrive ...
Response: I'm so glad that you enjoyed them. I basically just pick a design and then keep cutting as much as I can in between the hearts and diamonds. I'd love to branch out a bit -- need to think of new shapes to use!
Response: Ooh, sounds like fun! I used to pick them up at the book store from time to time, but haven't seen them lately. I do wonder what color you will choose for the Prince outfit? :)
Response: I am so glad that you liked them! I was thinking about your coastal home when I made them :)
Response: Hooray! Happy New Year, hope there is still a little "holiday glow" left !
Response: :) I'm glad that they were interested! It was fun to make them!
Response: Kamsahapnida, although I think I have a long way to go on the Korean! My New Year's resolution is to practice hard!
Response: Wow, these were fun swaps to be in, I really enjoyed all the cheerful postcards. Thanks for hosting!
Response: I am so glad that you enjoyed the card :) Happy New Year!
Response: Aww, thanks! I love the New Year -- makes me all wistful and hopeful!
Response: Thanks, that put a big smile on Torii's face!
Response: Thanks for the heart! Glad to send this to you, it was fun to think about all your projects as I made it.
Response: I am really glad that he liked his presents! Happy New Year to you both, and to all your family!
Response: You're welcome -- Happy New Year!

Response: Happy New Year to you, too! I am glad that you liked the PC. Hope that 2013 is a good one for you and your family.
Response: So glad that you found the letter -- sorry that it was stuck. Ban gap seum ni da!
Response: Oops, sorry! I am usually pretty good about writing the swap name somewhere, but I think I was a bit rushed/ distracted getting this one out. I believe that small children may have been involved ... Thanks for your patience.
Response: So glad that you enjoyed it! I wish you a very peaceful New Year!
Response: Thanks, I am glad that you liked the fawn!
Response: So glad that you both enjoyed the swap -- I hope he enjoys the book about the kids forming a drum group! I thought that was fun. My daughter will be glad to hear that he enjoyed the doll!
Response: Yay! I thought that you might ... he's Sasquatchwonderful, I am very fond of his blue toes in particular!
Response: It was good, very satisfying in all the mystery formula ways. Ever read the Leaphorn and Chee books by Tony Hillerman? It kind of reminded me of that, except more straight forward romance, which is nice for the holidays. :)
Response: Happy Hogswatch! I hope that I can host another Hogswatch card swap in 2013 :)
Response: Glad you liked them! Sorry that Psy on a camel didn't work out! Maybe if I needle felted it ...
Response: Yes, of course I was regretting putting the lace underneath as soon as I finished the monster task of sewing all those layers ... sigh. The bonus skirt pattern is here: http://www.polkadotchair.com/2010/01/twirly-dolly-skirt-tutorial.html/
Response: Glad that you liked it! It was my husband's idea, although I did add the probably hard to see Luke Skywalker juggling the flaming lightsabers to the idea ... yeah, it seemed like a good thing for a Jedi to do in a circus act ...
Response: Thank you, I am so glad that you liked it. Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family. My son is also crazy about tractors!
Response: Aw, thanks! What good timing! So, did you like the dancing boy on the playground or the walking through silly string better?
Response: A very Merry Christmas to you, too! May yours be sunny and summery!
Response: I think that I may buy her out next year, these postcards she makes are really nice! Glad that you enjoyed it.
Response: So glad that you liked the PC and the stamps!
Response: Thanks for the heart! Glad you liked the PC.
Response: I'm so glad that you like her. I think of her every New Year's, now. Wish I could be on the beach at Rio ...
Response: I'll get you the pattern soon! Thanks for a fabulous Craftacular. I am researching brandy slushie availability soon ...
Response: Here's wishing you a pink Christmas tree in your future! Hey, you can always set up a pink tree swap ...I am glad that you liked the card. I love this artist!
Response: So glad that you liked the fox, I thought he was pretty special, especially with the pink sky. Merry Christmas to you and your family, too.
Response: Thanks for the heart, I am glad that you liked the card.
Response: That was my favorite thing about the card, too :) Glad that you liked it.
Response: I'm glad you liked it, and thanks for the letter -- I will get around to a reply soon. Cats and dog are getting along well!
Response: Thanks, I am really glad that you liked it! It was my favorite, too. The spigot was a bit wonky, but I did better with the water than I thought I would :)
Response: I am so glad that you liked it! Etsy was good to me this year :)
Response: I completely agree -- what is Christmas without a yeti? So glad that you liked it!
Response: :) Annyounghasseyo! I am so happy that you enjoyed the package and that your husband enjoyed the socks! All the boxes of Cheeze-its (except for the inferior generic variety) have been eaten by my family (I may have had a role in eating the Monterey Jack, but the White Cheddar was DEFINITELY eaten in my absence .. grr..), and now we are on a diet until New Year's! BTW, I just found out the restaurant down the street serves Samgyeopsal. We are going to go try it this week or next!
Response: Thanks, Torii was so proud to get the message!!
Response: Thank you, I am so glad that you enjoyed it!
Response: So glad that you enjoyed it -- it was fun to find the PC's on your etsy list -- they are awesome! My daughter picked out the plates with me, I will tell her that you liked them :) You have to let me what you think of the bacon toffee ...
Response: So glad that you liked them -- wish I could visit the place in Milwaukee with the dragon woodwork! And it was a toy store? With a tea room? I'd like to have been there to eavesdrop!
Response: So glad that you liked it. My sister-in-law has the Thankful tag that you made up on her refrigerator -- still as beautiful as when she first admired it!
Response: I'm glad that you liked it! Hope that you receive at least one cow themed holiday present!
Response: I'm glad that you liked it, it seemed to suit! The cats are doing better with the dog, now if only the dog would take it down a notch with the cats ... It is funny to see the 2 cats bonding with each other, because usually they are polar opposites and avoid each other most of the day :)
Response: So glad that you liked the loon cartoon, I think that was my favorite part, although I did love doing the poetry. Terry Pratchett is just ... well, I can't really compare him to anyone. Gently poking fun at most of humankind while laying bare the true uglinesses and small beauties of life? Thief of Time is one of my favorites.
Response: So glad that you liked it! So ... have you ever tried to dress up your pets? We tried to put miniature party hats on the chickens for New Year's once ... not a smart idea, I'll admit ...
Response: I am so glad that she liked it, she is clearly a SPECIAL Mom!
Response: I'm glad that you liked the yeti card -- I just think he is so adorable in a yeti kinda way ...
Response: I am looking forward to more Eastery Christmas fun. Now you are going to have to make a Halloweeny Easter, or something else as fun! I am sorry about the handwriting; clearly it is something that I need to work on!
Response: I am so glad that you liked it. I am still working on finding the right combination of thread, fabric and cardboard!!
Response: Thanks, I hope that you found something fun in the list! It was a fun swap.
Response: Peace of mind sounds very good! I do enjoy Tich Nhat Hanh, when I can sit still enough! I am still trying to find a quote from a nun who was born in Tibet, she was talking about raising kids as a meditation. Your presence with your children as the meditation. It was really beautiful.
Response: Mmm .. sounds good! Glad you enjoyed the card.
Response: Wow, that was fast shipping! I am so glad that you like her!
Response: Phew! I was so nervous that the tea bag would get destroyed in the mail, although the wrapping seemed pretty tough. Hope you like green tea!
Response: Thanks! I am really glad that you liked it! I think she is a talented photographer!
Response: Merci pour le coeur! Il y avait quelques chansons francaises, mais mon chanson fraqncais prefere (por le noel) est Un Flambeau, Jeannette, Isabelle :) What is your favorite Christmas song in Korean?
Response: I love those bhangra boyz turbans! Wish I knew how they are done! I am so glad that you liked the Mitik PC. He is so otherworldly in some of the photos I saw and so down-to-earth (down-to-water??) in others. And to think of all that he has been through! Makes me wonder if he does like music .... and what it is?
Response: Köszönöm szépen! I hope I got that right! Hope you can find a new "friend" or two in these songs. I forgot to mention "Christmas in the Trenches" by John McCutcheon ... but there are so many. What is your favorite Christmas song in Hungarian?
Response: kiitos paljon! I think I got that right! I hope that you find some new songs through this swap. I would love to hear what your favorite Christmas song is in Finnish!
Response: I am so glad that you like her! Sounds like she has a great home for the holidays :)
Response: This is a truly interesting situation -- does one say, "Yes, thank you for agreeing that these postcards are truly strange?" Where is Miss Manners when one needs her?
Response: Oh, good! I imagine that she likes that -- she makes me think of the Rose from the Little Prince ... maybe that's why I put the scarf on the other one ...
Response: Thanks so much for joining in the swap! It was really nice to be able to tell the story and do this with my family.
Response: I am so glad that you liked the fox! He seemed like the card for you. Is there a Jane Austen novel that you especially like? I am most fond of Persuasion, but I find Northanger Abbey the most hilarious and Pride and Prejudice the Colin Firthiest :) I first read Pride and Prejudice in a situation when it was the ONLY book in English I could get my hands on, and I even read the extensive annotations as a result. I have been hooked ever since. All about those annotations, I guess.
Response: So glad. It's pink! And sparkly! With bells on it! Never thought that I would produce something pink, sparkly and with bells on it, but there you go.
Response: Kamsahapnida, I am happy that you liked the card!
Response: Thanks, I am glad that you and your daughter like them!
Response: I love it, too! So glad that was your favorite part. It is just so .. friendly.
Response: Glad that you liked it. Makes me want to make more Discworld mail -- have you ever checked out the Discworld Emporium?
Response: Estoy feliz que te gustabas la carta! Que opinas la planta tan extrano?
Response: So many dots ... so little time. I thought about enlarging the dots in an old picture image as well, but never got around to it. I WILL visit BC someday, it's on my list! :)
Response: I am very glad that you liked it! I think that I sent you one of the yeti ones -- they were made by an artist in North Carolina. I went for the cute ones, not the octopus pirate Santa ones ... :)
http://www.roboticrelative.com/
Response: Dull? What is this "dull" that you speak of? Is it another way to say "lively" or "interesting"?
Glad you liked the polka-dot PC. Remind me to host a "design your own plaid PC swap" if you don't! :)
Response: So glad that you liked it! I thought that it might be your style :)
Response: I'm glad that you liked it -- I really liked the idea of fondant violets ... sounds really delicate, doesn't it?!
Response: I am still getting used to what gets mangled in the mail and what doesn't -- I am afraid that I may be a bit TOO adventurous in the sewing postcards together department .. but boy is it fun. One problem is that I am using my modern machine and I should break out the ancient tank of a Pfaff -- it would handle the different textures and heights of paper better.
Response: Glad you liked them! Right after I sent them off, I found even more purple fabric -- I might make a few in your honor for our house, too :)
Response: I'm glad that you liked it :) I had free cable for a month many years ago, and a certain show featuring David Hasselhoff was on re-runs, can you tell?
Response: Glad you liked them! I got all inspired making fabric flowers in a swap, and then I had DuhBe's beautiful roses lying around and thought they would work in a cotton fabric, too. Here's the tutorial for the pointy flowers: http://mouseinmypocket.com/2010/10/fabric-flower-tutorial-1-pointy-petals/ , then I just sewed them back to back and added fabric roses to cover the sewing. Still struggling with the glue thing, but it helps to set a heavy can on them while they are drying ;)
Response: Glad you liked it -- I did enjoy trying to create the rangoli. It would be fun to try different materials.
Response: OK, sewing it is, The needle is mightier than the extremely flammable adhesive.
Response: Oh, they ARE good ... sigh, a seasonal item at Aldi, but sometimes I can find the DARE ones year-round ... If only I would READ through all the books I check out...
Response: Wow, that was fast! I am glad that you like them, I enjoyed making them -- thanks so much for the swap idea!
Response: So glad that you got it, I weighed it but had a vision of "postage due" the other day! I did become quite curious about your town, writing that rhyme! And, thanks for ridding me of my riddance!
Response: So glad that you liked her -- let me know if she gets a name!
Response: Can't wait to hear how the meal turns out! This was a really fun swap!
Response: I'm glad that you liked it -- I hope that the writing is going well. Thanks so much for participating in the Hogswap!
Response: Thanks -- I would love to hear about the meal, if you make it!
Response: Hooray! The card to Susan refers to Soul Music, don't know if you have read that one ... Quoth the Raven is a delightfully inappropriate character ...
Response: You are welcome! I hope that you enjoy "smashing" with them!
Response: Thanks for the heart! Hope that you enjoy filling it up!
Response: Glad that you like having him back -- He's shrunk a bit -- maybe it will be good for him? Thanks for a wonderful swap -- I really enjoyed participating!
Response: I hope that I remembered to give credit to Emily Dickinson! I do like that poem, especially the last line - books are food for the soul, our souls don't ask for more expensive things than love and dreams and books and faith ... I am glad that you liked the stamps!
Response: So glad that you liked it -- somehow I felt a little rushed, but I was inspired by my family :)
Response: http://www.soils.wisc.edu/~asig/webcam.html shows the view over lovely Lake Mendota and our current fall color in the rain :) The Northwoods webcams show the snow gauge already (no snow just yet, but soon ...)
Response: Thanks, I am really enjoying Sungha Jung! Thanks so much! And that little Miss Sophicha -- could she be more adorable?!
Response: You're welcome! This was a small swap, but in a way it made it more fun to see everybody's favorite music! I think I am going to look at all of these again (as well as What Kind of Noise Annoys An Oyster :)
Response: Glad you liked them! I saw another stained glass sculpture recently and walking through it was just so amazing -- I felt like a rainbow!
Response: I'm really glad that they liked them -- they were fun to make! Happy Halloween to your household!
Response: Thanks so much, you are really encouraging. I would like to try a smash book, but I am a little discouraged by the length and by not being very "scrapbook - talented." Maybe sometime soon -- I like to read the descriptions of the swaps! Thanks again for a fun swap!
Response: I am really glad that you liked the ziplock bag/ school nurse one! It's close to my heart. Do you like ziplocks as well?
Response: I'm glad that you found it informative! Did you like the Sweet Honey in the Rock song? It still makes my heart swell when I hear it!
Response: It was a fun swap, I enjoyed reading these!
Response: You are welcome, I get a little gushy, don't I? Hey, I have a Percy Jackson fan in my house, too! What is your favorite character?
Response: Yay! I love Mr. Toad, too, even if Ratty is my current favorite. There would be no Wind in the Willows without Toad, who contrasts nicely with Mole and Badger and the rest. What is your favorite Miyazaki movie?
Response: Sigh .. I figured that would probably be the case. It's the same here, a lot of places I used to wander about it as a kid are being sold and built up. I think that I remember that the area used to be full of these huge dikes that sort of supported the whole marsh environment. Wow, wish I could have seen that! So .. did you have a favorite Wind in the Willows character?
Response: When that nice postal worker said "Express mail?," what could I say? I'd love to see something you make from the supplies!
Response: Oh, good! I was worried that maybe the fabrics weren't your style. What kind of beads, do you think? I was thinking little glass seed beads, but I was thinking maybe a focal bead might work, too? I'd love your thoughts!
Response: Thanks! My daughter was very interested in the sandwich letter, she will appreciate your opinion. My kimchi-lover refused to eat his kimchi last night because he was stuffing his mouth full of French bread and cheese :)
Response: :) Have you ever seen the Maru videos on Youtube? Wilbur is the anti-Maru!
Response: Glad you like them. My neighbor studies primate behavior and she finds them fascinating!
Response: I am sorry about your cat. They are there for us so much, and when they are not there ... it is really tough, isn't it? Sending you thoughts ...
Response: He is soft, except for his claws, which are currently "shabbifying" my chair ... naughty cat!
