The bookmark you've mentioned got lost. But I think the rest is still there. No worries, it's still an awesome sending!

Comment: I hate to report that your ATC arrived broken. But, I could see how pretty it was and how much work you put into it. Next time you might bake the pieces together, using liquid clay where needed. The breakage was mostly pieces falling off. The glue you used was not very effective.

I think the Andrew Wyeth quote is my favorite; I love looking at the shapes of the tree branches once all the leaves have fallen. I have a friend who feels that in winter, everything just looks dead, but to me winter is when I have the chance to really see the 'bone structure' of the trees and the true beauty of them. It doesn't seem dead to me at all; it seems like nature is getting ready for the Spring party... Oh, and I loved the happy yellow envelope you used and the citrus washi tape - it made me smile just to see the envelope!!! Great swap!

Comment: Hey! I love this ATC. Your use of pen and is it water color? Is really beautiful. I love sunflowers. I’m sorry you are having ugh bad air quality there. My sister and parents have been miserable with the smoky haze. We had a day here this week that was really Smokey. The AQI was 136 but it’s slowly getting better and today is only about 56 which is nice.You all need some rain to help clean that air. I hope it gets better soon. Hugs!

Response: For the background: gelatos, india ink, white out and watercolor. Then the orchids are watercolor pencil. All on watercolor paper. Obviously I cut out the orchids and overlayed them. I am so glad to hear you like it. I loved making it, it's very outside my box and I ended up loving it too. I framed yours and have been staring at it for days! I love it. Let's do this again soon!

The lotus flat stone I put in a clay dish I have with all my other inspirational coins & trinkets. Comment: thank you for the cute ATC. I got the stamps from ebay a few years back, mostly for postcrossing postcard swaps, because a lot of my foreign pen pals like the non-adhesive stamps. I used up the larger denominations, but still have a bunch of smaller denominations. I put them into use here b/c envelops got more space for stamps. A lot ebay shops sell stamps at a discount, depending on the face value and designs.

I DID make that paper. All you do is layer some shaving cream, drop food color on it, swirl it with a toothpick, lay the paper on and lift it off....scrape away the extra shaving cream left on it with a ruler or knife in one swipe. That's it! Give it a whirl!
