Comment: Thank you for the nice long grateful letter. I enjoyed all the wonderful blessings you have. It is nice to stop and really think how much we do have The little things are the best! Your mountains must be so pretty! Happy Thanksgiving!
Comment: Pretty card, thanks so much! I like the snow too, and am lucky to work from home so I don't really have to drive in it. We've had several snow storms already this fall, and ski areas in the Colorado Rockies have opened early!
Comment: Oh Christina!
I am honored that you shared such a huge part of your heart with me.
Please feel my hug.
Scott was a very special man and I so glad that you can still feel his presence.
Please write soon.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely swap. I loved that you decorated early for your son. I am sorry for the delay in rating. My laptop was sick and I was unable to get my phone to allow me to rate. Thank you again I loved it.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful card and the lovely gifts you sent. We really loved North Carolina when we were there this summer. My hubby asked one lady if it was always so foggy there. We were on Black Mountain. With a straight face she asked, " Sir, why do you think it's called The S-M-O-K-Y Mountains?"
Heehee! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you so much! I'm excited about having something to open each day but I missed the first 2 days because I was soooo busy but I started today and hubby opened a couple of cards for me too.
Comment: Thank you so much for your note! The book sounds like an awesome idea. I should do something like that for Mike for our anniversary on December 30th. We will be married 38 years (together 40). Thanks for the great idea!
Comment: Absolutely amazing twins on two days! I loved your card and goodies. “Hocus pocus” is a favorite movie in our house. We used to go to Salem every year till we moved down to Fl. I miss up north so much this time of year. Then it snows and I remember why I love FL.
Comment: I loved the postcards! Great idea 😊 I had wanted to do somehing similat...and then didnt haha! I love Halloween too! I also thought it was really cool that you have twins with seperate birthdays. I suppose its not that uncommon, but not something you really think of when you think twins. Your themed week sounds great! All but the horror movies..im to chicken for that hahaha
Comment: Love all your news and don't ever worry about repeats!! It's great your boyfriend is so cool and understanding! I'm going to look up your book titles since I love horror fiction. And, my movies will consist of "fun" Halloween movies, I'm too much of a scaredy-cat to watch the other ones! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the great swap! I love the ideas of people, including yours My favorite is the Hello Friend Notecard! Look forward to the Letter swaps. For me X is going to be interesting or I might have to opt out of that one!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful card, great letter(I love the paper), and great list you wrote on the back. I loved how you did it! It caught my eye! It has been fun learning to know you too! We really do have alot of likes! Your mention of Coconut pie made me want a piece.
Comment: Thank you so much for the sweet swap and I love the note. I was going to post a letter before rating, but then "kid stuff" caught me. So much school stuff in the fall. I loved your letter and the picnic sounded great. You're in my prayers! I think it's great!
Comment: Enjoyed reading over your list but most are too scary for me!! I can "read" horror fiction 24/7 but I'm not brave enough to watch it on the big screen! My favorite is Hocus Pocus, how can you not love that movie! Love the glittered goodies too! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you so much for the yummy looking recipes. I am glad to try them. I loved the card and the great letter on pretty paper. I pictured in my mind what you cute little kitchen must be like! Take Care!
Comment: Thank you for another great swap! I like the postcard and I was there twice in my lifetime. I like the winter picture though since I was there in summer and in fall. Thank you for joining this swap1
Comment: Thank you for the great looking recipe! I was like ooh Chocolate in it! Now that is interesting. I am glad you shared your favorite recipe card with me. You sure find neat ones. By the way I received a lot of mail from you today! It was a great snail mail day!
Comment: Thank you so much for another great swap! I love the postcard! Oh, your letter was great to here what you enjoy ! I am a year older than you! I consider myself a country gal! I hope you enjoyed your picnic!
Comment: I know you said you were disappointed in what you put together for me, but I enjoyed reading the Cherokee, NC, paper -- even clipped an article for a co-worker. May God bless and keep you and your family.
Comment: Thanks so much for the book recommendations! The bookmark is wonderful! Thanks so much! (Sorry so late with rating, been out of state for a funeral and I’m sorting through lots of happy mail).
Comment: I was delighted to get some neat recipe cards. Thanks for sharing all about your new adventure with Greek cooking. Sounds interesting, too! Thanks for the cookbook recommendation. I always into that. All the best!
Comment: Thanks for this swap! I love the tea and your note! Thanks for sharing the books you are currently reading. I will have to check them out! !Get your eyes checked! There might be something else that is giving you HAs! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Christine - Thank you for such a lovely letter sharing your Parkway...and the beautiful postcards! I've actually driven the Parkway myself many times, but I always seem to hit it at night and am more focused on avoiding the insanity of late-night truckers than anything else. It was wonderful to read about all of the secrets and treasures it holds! xoxo
Comment: Hi Christina the Elf, your envelope arrived this afternoon thank you so much! The papers are lovely and I'll put them to good use, particularly since I have just found a glue which sticks vellum invisiblyðŸ˜. I envy you having worked for Santa, that would be a dream job!
Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy new Year. Once again thank you for a great swap â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Christmas card and your description of the national park and postcards! I'm making plans to visit many national parks in the next couple of years, and there's a trip that would start in Florida and head north as the weather warms. There's also Glacier and Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon. I've been more places abroad than in the US.
Comment: Thank you for the stones and the letter. Citrine is actually my birthstone now that it's so hard to find yellow topaz. We actually get most of our gemstones in Tennessee and North Carolina. I have seen the one in Cherokee on our way to Pigeon Forge, but haven't stopped. Thank you again!
Comment: I enjoyed your letter very much! It was neat the wonderful things you do at Christmas time. I will make your Pecan Pie. I never had a recipe that didn't call for corn syrup! Thank you so very much!
Comment: Thanks for the great note and lovely tea! As soon as I opened the envelope the scent was heavenly! My DH liked it too. It's terrible when appliances go on the fritz, especially around the holidays. Hope your Thanksgiving with your son was grand! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thank you so much Christina for the lovely card and pretty extras. Your card couldn't have come on a better day! My family's car isn't working and we're racking our brains to try to fix it - I certainly needed some encouragement! May God bless you richly today!!!
Comment: Thank you, Christina, for these really special cards! My absolute favorite is those sweet little raccoons. One spring, I fed a raccoon on my porch every night. Soon, she brought her babies! I was feeding a whole family of raccoons 'til the babies grew up! I put out a HUGE tub of water every night (they washed in it and washed their food in it), cookies, grapes, crackers, fish, apples, leftovers etc. So . . . I have such a soft spot for sweet little 'coons. Thank you for reminding me of that special time!
Comment: Oh I love the journal! I did the same idea and oh so glad you did it for me! I love your new craft too a matchbox! How neat! Thank you so much for the nice swap! It made my day! By the way I am fine with you sending both swaps! Anyway one I could open and the other waits! Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!
Comment: Thank you for the synopsis and the neat bookmark, Christina! Monster sounds intriguing. I see on Goodreads that it is considered "Christian horror." Is religion mentioned heavily? I don't read much Christian fiction as I am not a practicing Christian. . . I am currently embroiled in a slog through New York 2140 by Kim Stanley Robinson. It is good, but only when it's not being descriptive. And unfortunately, it is descriptive A LOT. :-/ But thank you for sharing! :-)
Comment: I would give you an extra heart if I could. I never knew about Cherokee until about two years ago when we cut through en route to Charlotte. I am absolutely amazed by it, and the museum is one of the better ones I have ever seen. Thank you so much for that penny.
Comment: Thank you sweetie ! First of all, thanks for creating this private swap :) very considerad on your part. Second, many thanks for your swap, I loved the stickers: D thank you very much. Blessings !
Comment: Thank you so much for the smiles. I love the Great Smokey Mountains as well. I'm originally from WV so the mountains are dear to my heart. Love what you did to the PC, will definitely be stealing that idea.
Comment: Tears came to my eyes as I opened your mail today, tears of joy that is! I do not have a car and the Lord knows how I have longed to go up to the mountains where I can view the glory of His work. He has blessed me through you and your kindness of sending the pcs that I may view and remember the times I spent among these beautiful mountains. Thank you so much for the pcs and the little story! <3
Comment: Thank you for all the goodies, most of all your note!! You always have good book suggestions! I do not have that deer postcard!!!! Thank you so much. I'm really glad you joined - I was happy to see your name come up!!! xoxo
Comment: As soon as I saw your envelope I was very puzzled as to what it could be (by the way... I LOVE how it was decorated in a garden theme). lol I appreciate you explaining the envie to me. :) Thank you for the book and bookmark! I will put it in a safe place till I open it on Christmas. Oh, and just in case you'd like to know, the book I sent you was also brand new. :)
Comment: Wow! Your envelope is lovely (what great pictures you used! It's always interesting to see how someone else decorates mail. I myself only had one rainbow sticker, so made a collage with paper, stickers, washi tape and glitter in rainbow colors), what a wonderful assortment of goodies and those bags are so cute! Everything will be put to good use. :) Your note was a joy to read and your paper couldn't have been more perfect! I will definitely be praying for your twins and thank you for trusting me enough to share this with me. The scripture you wrote out was encouraging and the scripture card with the cat (Psalm 4:8) is one I say every night before I go to bed. Thank you so much for all the time and thought you put into making this swap so special to receive!
Comment: Don't know if I can wait til Christmas... Thank you... I'll try ..... maybe... Smile...package came yesterday..
Dec. 26- Thank you for the Embellished decoupaged cover on the Notebook which will be perfect to carry in my purse. Merry Chirstmas!!
Comment: Thank you for stuffing the card so full of wonderful items!!! The notecards are so cute, can't wait to drink the tea and I especially love the tea note sheets and airmail postcard sticker. Thanks again!
Comment: Wow! What a wonderful long note. I enjoyed reading it over a cup of hyssop jasmine tea (currently my favorite combo). I too love Christian movies and have seen most of the ones that David A.R. White plays in. These are SO good!!! I'm wanting to see The Case for Christ when it comes out on DVD. I don't care to go to the theater, though my parents do and went and saw it. They said it was very good. I too like Fly Wheel and North and South. Have you ever tried the Dove Channel? It's on-line and a few months back I was able to do a one week free trial and Austentatious was on there. This is actually where I heard about it, so watched it on there and a few months later re-watched it on Amazon. I think Amazon prime is totally worth it if you order from there a lot, though it can be a challenge to find good movies to watch that's included with the prime membership. Unfortunately it's mostly bad movies. Oh! Have you heard about the Anne of Green Gables mini-series that's coming to Netflix May 12th? I'm excited to watch this and am excited about R. H. Thomson playing Matthew, as I know him as playing Jasper in Road to Avonlea. Well, thank you for your wonderful note and for the enclosures. Have a wonderful weekend!
Comment: What a nice treat to come home after volunteering all morning and sit down with a cup of tea to read your letter (the card you used was perfect!). I greatly enjoyed it and some of the books you talked about are new to me. I also like Frank Peretti's books and have read "Monster," though I can't recall what it's about. Maybe I'll have to re-read it. :) I too have "Jesus Freaks" and have read some of the stories in them. They're hard to read, so I don't read it that often. I LOVE my bookmark, the postcard is beautiful and I'm excited to use the lined paper to write a letter on. Thank you!!! I appreciate you hosting swaps. :) Oh, and on a side note.... What a great use for your change! You must get a lot of change. :)
Comment: What a cute sheep card and beautiful postcard! I love going to the Smoky Mountains and have been able to hike there once. I no longer live in the country, so I don't see wildlife that often. We do get a lot of ducks because there's a pond on the other side of the street from my house. Michigan does have elk in Hillman, which is about 3 1/2 hours away. My parents and sister have been able to see them. I greatly enjoyed reading your letter and loved how detailed you were when you answered the questions. You're so sweet and I'm thankful for you too! Thanks for everything and for hosting these fun note card swaps!
Comment: I enjoyed reading your letter, the teas sound good (I have not tried any of these flavors before), the letter set is beautiful and what cute stickers! Thank you so much!!! I too drink tea in the mornings and the day just isn't the same without it! Have you ever drank Hojicha, Roasted Green Tea? This tastes a bit darker than regular green tea, but it has such a good smooth flavor. I hope you're enjoying your day and were able to get your spring cleaning done!
Comment: Thank you so much for a wonderful swap!!! I LOVE everything!!! The notecards are so pretty and are totally my style, the bookmark will definitely come in handy and the sheep card put a smile on my face. :) That's awesome you bought, Signed, Sealed, Delivered! I tend to recommend this show a lot, but I haven't had anyone watch it until you. I'm so glad you like it! Did you know there's also quite a few movies as well? I have been able to watch a few of them on youtube and they come in really clear and than some of them have been released on DVD. I hope one day soon they'll all be on DVD so I can watch them all and re-watch them. :) I too have never met anyone else who likes Jane Peart. Do you have a favorite book by her? Mine is: A Perilous Bargain. I just LOVED the setting! How lucky for you that you can read during work! Where do you work? When I need a break from household chores I will usually sit down in my comfy chair and read for a few hours. Thanks again and thanks for hosting this swap! It would be great to see more notecard swaps!
Comment: What great PCs you sent for this blind PC swap -- I love them all. The Great Smoky Mountains are absolutely gorgeous and I always like getting PCs showing them off - truly one of the prettiest places I've been in the US. Thanks again for great PCs and hope to see you in future swaps ~~
Comment: Hi! Thank you for the present! I am intrigued by your note, and have to be honest, I will probably do a Christmas in July and open it then- I think it's fun in the middle of summer to open a few of the packages because its so hard to wait!!! Thanks for hosting this, and I will be mailing yours out Monday or Tuesday as soon as I am finished with it :)
Comment: 6 books already!? That's awesome!!! I'm only on 3 but it's good for me these days!!! Your book sounds good! Fun to get near the end of a series and see how it ends! I also love the bear cub postcard. Thank you so much for joining the swap! Have a great weekend! xxxx
Comment: Thank you. I loved reading your answers. This swap was a wonderful idea. Not only being able to write down and focus on what I am grateful for, but to also read your answers was incredibly uplifting. Please run this swap again!
Comment: I like the card! Listening and friendship go hand in hand. Apple stuffed onions, just might go well with Thanksgiving diner. Your apple grilled cheese is a keeper.
My Aunt Joy had an "Early Apple Tree" that produced in June. the apples were green. I will see what I can find! Will write later!
Comment: Just when I sent my books yours arrived! I won't unwrap them right away, but I might not wait until Christmas. :)
Update: I just unwrapped them for Christmas and they both look very interesting!
Comment: Hi Christina, thank you for the nice teas and bookmark, I like them very much :) and I will have a look at the book that you're reading. Same as you, I don't have an electrical reader either, I prefer real books! Have a nice day xxx
Comment: I loved reading your family traditions, especially about the family gift- I am going to steal that idea :) I am going to make the soup recipe next week, and loved the cute packaging on the advent suprises. Thank you for spoiling me :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful bookmark and your sweet card! I do like Duck Dynasty. Although my family are not hunters, some of the stunts they pull seem a little like family. They crack me up. I'm doing "The Power Of God's Names" by Tony Evans. I'm in a group study at the church. You have a blessed day!
Comment: Thank you so much for the Postcard Fun! I didn't think about different colors of ink. I couldn't put too much on mine because of running it together. I did mine while my hubby was in the hospital and I didn't have a lot of resources with me. I hope we get to do this type again.
Comment: I loved your letter, the colors ot the the envelope and the paper your wrote on. Your summer sounds so lovely I am jealous. I miss the Northwest with the woods and all the wild life everywhere
Comment: Loved Your Note inside of the Bright Yellow envie with the Smiles stickers. and Thank you for the Cute Recipe Cards... yes please Take care of your Body because its the only one you have- You don't want to Shop for Spare parts.. ! ! Smile ! ! Try different music when you are Exercising.. ! !
Comment: Thank you so much for the Primitive Baptist Church post card. Cades Cove is a wonder place to visit. One time when my husband and I was at church looking around a small deer came up and nudge me. Scared me for a minute. But it was wonderful to be touched by nature. God Bless!
Comment: Another great swap for one of my favorite swappers. Although I must admit that until I read your note, I wasn't sure how the pretty postcard qualified for E. You are quite creative on this one. I sent elephant post cards to my partner.
Comment: Thank you for the insightful and honest answers. Yes, Rapture first! And check out She Reads Truth as an option for some good Bible studies. They are a free on line source. A few of their studies have a minor cost, but nothing too expensive. If you are looking for a book, Lies Women Believe is great, but do the companion study guide with it to help with applying what you are reading.
Comment: Loved your letter on the Bright Yellow paper and in the Bright yellow Envie.. Thank you for the Lovely bookmark from the Smokey Mountains ! ! ! Will have to look at some of those books. Lucky I have a couple Libraries with in 8 miles each way..! !
Comment: Your 6 cards arrived today (Tues., 6/6), Christina - thanks so much! Very much worth the wait, and I'm sorry you had to mail twice. This envie arrived without the stamps even having been cancelled--me thinks the Post Office folks have a hard time of it some times. That possum is darling! Here we have marmots, but I affectionately call them 'varmots' instead! thanks again, Carol in Denver
Comment: Hi Christina, so good to hear from you again, even though it is through SB. I am doing good. Remember Picupurcross? Well, she;s a grandmother now and we are all together here in Springfield.
Anyway, thank you so much for a great swap..All the "S: things are super!!! Have a great day, anita
Comment: Thank you for sharing your answers. I need to check out some of the movies. I am only familiar with a couple you listed. I wish I had the same feelings about drying clothes on a line. That's how I grew up and everything was always so stiff. But we didn't use fabric softener either. I hope you are enjoying your new hours at work.
Comment: I was in need of recipe cards, so your timing was perfect. :) Thank you for such a great selection! I especially love the retro looking one and how nice that most of them have lines on the back. Where did you buy them?
Comment: Thank you for a fun package! I will look forward to planting the seeds, the recipe sounds yummy and I will enjoy using all the other items. Wow, you have quite a long bucket list! I've always wanted to visit Clingmans Dome. I hope you're able to hike there. Happy Spring!
Comment: Thankyou very much Christina for the lovely descriptive note of the area in which you live, do like all of the enclosures too, so nice to join this swap to find out about other peoples countries etc :)
Comment: Thank you for all the red goodies! I especially like the red doilies! Your scripture card is beautiful and I really like the two little notecards! Seeds are always good! This was a fun package to go through!
Comment: What a beautiful car, Christina! The little notebook is just right to tuck into my purse for all those little things you wish you had something to writing it on. I love making and using this mini composition books. As for the egg hunt for 17 yr olds, you're right, 'tis much too immature for their interests! LOL. I never thought of putting $$ into eggs to get them to hunt for eggs! My "kids" are now 41 and 35. I just wish one of them would bless me with a grandchild! I know one is NOT planned in my daughter's and her hubby's lives as they are emphatic about no desire for kids. Actually, they are both so self -absorbed in career and their own little world of chose, that I think a baby would have been difficult for them.My son, on the other hand, wants a wife and family SO much, but his job keeps him traveling so much, he hasn't any chance of meeting anyone!--since Thanksgiving he's been to Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, England, and currently in San Pao, Brazil. I'm always happy to know when he is back safely on American soil!
Thanks for a wonderful swap!
Comment: Hi Christina, This was really a great swap and since I love learning new things it was fun. So true, it is a blessing to learn than change can be good and to not fear when going through change. But we are human and this is so hard for most of us. Thanks for a wonderful swap, the letter, the Easter stickers and the bookmark. I will be joining probably all of these swaps so hope we will meet up again.
Comment: Thank you for your wonderful and thoughtful swap! What a cute design on the envelope and I enjoyed reading the letter (the paper with the flowers is beautiful). Wow! It really sounds like you've been able to see some amazing things in nature! I especially would have liked to have seen the crosses in the sky. Also, it was so sweet of you to send me the notebook all wrapped up. This is too cute!
If you do get Direct TV Hallmark movies and mysteries channel has 4 "Signed, Sealed, Delivered' movies out that you can only watch on there. I wish they would add them to Amazon Instant like they did with the TV series. Hopefully one day.
Thank you again for sending such a nice swap! Blessings to you.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely letter and recipe for the soup. I love collard greens so I bet I will love it! I eat healthy like you do, fresh organic produce and I am a vegetarian so it was nice reading about all of the veggies you have been making! If you are looking for a pen pal, let me know :)
Comment: I love the chap stick! GMO labeling... I read labels, so I am impressed by Campbell's decision. How does the aloe drink taste? I do not think I would care for it. As for sodas, I rarely drink them. So many teas! Thank you ♥♥♥
Comment: I apologize for the late rating. I thought I rated this. In any case I was thoroughly impressed with how much you were able to get in that stocking and love it all...plus the extras! Thank you so much!
Comment: Thank you so very much for the lovely card!! I loved reading your ideas on keeping Jesus the center of Christmas. I will remember some of those. I love to decorate my tree with nativity ornaments. Have a beautiful christmas!
Comment: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I opened the ornament so I could put it on my tree and I put the other one in my stocking. It is a beautiful ornament. I can't wait to open all my little packages on Christmas.
Comment: I love Cades Cove. What a beautiful post card! Thanks so much. I'm sorry to take forever to rate you. I didn't go to the falls so I guess I'm going back one day. Merry Christmas and thanks for joining!

I loved the wax melt's scent and can't wait to decorate this photo frame :) hope you all have a great Christmas- I enjoyed hearing from you :) & that Santa bubble mailer was so cute :)
Comment: Hi Christina! Thank you for the lovely pink flowers pc - love it! You are right, we will not be seeing these for several months - sigh! I am good with the first snow and after that, I am done! LOL! Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving as well! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the package. Your Thanksgiving dinner sounds delicious! I pray your oven is fixed in time. I usually cook Thanksgiving dinner as well, my sisters and their family's come over. This year I think we are going to my in laws though. Should be fun. Well, have a Blessed thanksgiving and thank you again for the package😀
Comment: Thank you for the great selection of postcards. I particularly like the photo of the Great Smoky Mountains but all three are super. I really appreciate the fact that they all show things and places local to you.
Comment: Hi Christina! Thank you for the lovely PC from my favorite state: North Carolina! Once upon a time we had our sites set to move to Raleigh, but that didn't work out. I think the state is beautiful in all seasons! HAPPY SWAPPING! Valerie
Comment: The comment section is not big enough for the words to describe the joy as I opened your gift. "It's Fall!" was my first thought as the leaves spilled out of the box. I have not collected S&P shakers in years, but these beauties will add nicely to my bunnies and santas! Thank you! :)
Comment: What a great swap! I've never heard of Numi tea. Looking forward to trying it. Love the bird stickers and recipe. The postcards were special, too. We are actually visiting TN/ NC again. One of our favorite places to visit. Thanks for everything! Blessings!
Comment: Thank you soooo much for the nice letter (warmed my heart), great bookmarkers and tea - I already had the Jasmine green this morning. I like your booklist and am planning on reading the 'daughter' book as I have the same 'daughter'. I will send out the testimony very soon. So grateful!!
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful bridge. I like bridges for the engineering. However, I too am afraid of heights and have not gone more than a few places because they would challenge my acrophobia. (I love that word - I would not have lived in Acropolis had I been an ancient Greek.)
Comment: Hi Christina! Oh I love my journal pages! Thank you so much! I am anxious to try the corn recipe! The verse page with the butterflies is beautiful! I really like the Mother Teresa quote! :) xxoo Shannon
Comment: Thanks for the nice journal pages. I especially love the verses and quotes page. Hope to swap journal pages again in August. Summers must be very busy for you. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Comment: Thank you so much for the bookmark, tea, ribbons, and card. You were very generous and I really appreciate it. I am hoping to get some chickens next spring :) It is funny how you ended up with mostly roosters.
Comment: Christina ~ Hope you're having a great summer! Thanks for the PC. . . I think the Great Smoky Mountains are some of the most beautiful landscape we have in the US - breathtaking regardless of the time of year. Thanks for the great PCs ~~
Comment: Hi Christina!! Thanks for the beautiful envelopes!! This is such a neat swap! :) I love that we have matching stars! Can't wait to see mine! But, I have a little bit of time to go!! :) xxoo Shannon
Comment: Thank you for all of the colorful journal pages. It must have taken you a lot of time to make all of the dotted decorations. The healthy recipes of orange and papaya sound easy and yummy! Thanks for all of thought you put into each page. If I get you next time maybe you can send me a page about yourself. have a great day!
Comment: Hey Christina!! Oh what a fun swap!! I just love everything!! The farm animals just cracked me up and I needed to laugh! The pig is so cute and I think the goat is just giving me a big smile himself!! This was a delightful envelope full of fun. I have already popped my bookmark in my Bible and hung my June calendar up by my swap area!! Love you!! Shannon
Comment: Loved your letter. Your garden sounds wonderful. I too, plant marigolds in my garden, it really helps with the insects. Thanks ever so much for the seeds & book mark. I've never grown Chard, so this will be my new plant this year. I like trying one every year. Have a great day. bearnbabs
Comment: Hi, your Pocket Letter is perfect and great! You did a terrific job and I love it. The vegetables, fruits, farm animals and Bible verses are great. Are you sure this is your first Pocket Letter :) All the extras are fun and will be used soon. I'll plant the Morning Glory seeds today :) thank you, Doskie p.s. you've got the neatest prettiest penmanship.
Comment: Hi Christina!! You and I have some of the same goals! This was an awesome swap, to get new ideas too! I can't wait to try your recipe! It looks so yummy! I am getting a box of vegetables each week from a local farmer, so that is fun! It keeps me eating healthy! Thanks again for your letter! I so love hearing from you! xxoo Shannon
Comment: Collard greens for breakfast ... I really haven't had collard greens that often, but have never thought of them for breakfast. I do like spinach w/ eggs so I guess it would be fine. Smoky Mtns...so pretty!
Comment: What fun gift tags! The recipe does look fun, as a mater of fact I make a mean smoothie with strawberries and mangos- just add milk and yogurt. My favorite way to eat strawberries is fresh washed, no sugar, maybe some cream! Like minds. ;)
Comment: Thanks for the great PCs . . .I like them all but especially the two views of the Clingmans Dome - I know I would never make it up there! It seems I'm also being paired with the same people in several different swaps in different groups so I can only surmise that there are some of us who just love PC swapping :-) Thanks again for the great PCs and happy swapping ~~
Comment: I saw pileated woodpeckers when we lived in Florida. I don't think their habitat extends to the desert southwest, though we do have the ladder back woodpecker here. A mommy likes to nest in the saguaro in my front yard. Thanks for a lovely card. Happy swapping.
Comment: Love the stories! Always need more recipe cards! Gene teases my about liking variety! Now I can keep one blank use one for me and one for a friend!
I must read up on foxes. I have cross stitched a few, or maybe just wolves... The birds are so festive, I could picture them flying around today in a Cinco de Mayo festival. :) Rainbows are God's promise. What a blessing!
Comment: It's always such a blessing to hear from you. You are so sweet and always make the nicest packages! I love everything and the mints are great. The letter was best of all and I will reply next week. We will stand firm together. I haven't heard from Jessica since Mid March. Thank you for everything and being such a blessing to me!
Comment: Hi again ~~ Two envies in one day. . . the computer works in mysterious ways! I love your theme of the Mingus Mill - how interesting to see the same place on different PCs and with different foliage. Thanks for the great set of PCs . . . and hope you'll get a new partner in future swaps - not that I don't like getting your PCs because I always know they'll be great but when the computer keeps pairing the same people you start to wonder if you're sending the same PCs to that person! Have a great week and happy swapping ~~
Comment: Christina ~ Always good to see your name on an envie :-) I love the PCs. . . the Blue Ridge Prkway is such a beautiful drive - just gorgeous. Thanks so much. . . and don't ever worry about sending PCs you may have sent before - I pass them along in other swaps. Have a great week and thanks again ~~
Comment: Thank you so much for all the books! I love Jeanette oke, and my nephew is on a mission in Africa. I am sure I will love reading the Africa missionary book. Thank you for your generosity, and no worries about the lateness...these things happen. Have a wonderful day!
Comment: The salad is right up my alley! I bought unsweetened coconut recently & Gene asked what I was going to make, Tole him I didn't know, but it was the first time I had seen it for sale and I was going to use it in my next coconut recipe!
I used to have wild purple morning glory, then we moved... I was going to buy some marigold to plant this week with my tomato, now I will plant the seeds together! Love it all!
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely Scripture cards. They are all so pretty! I enjoyed your little note also. I think Spring has finally arrived and I'm also ready to get outside to dig in some dirt!
Comment: Hi Christina! What a beautiful Easter card! I love it! Paul and I dye Easter Eggs every year, even though we have no kids! It is always so much fun! The Easter Bunny also visits our house too!! :) Our church doesn't have a sunrise service, but I sure do wish it did! I think everyone will come to my house this year after church, which will be fun! Thanks for a wonderful swap! I love the bookmark and recipe card! Love, Shannon
Comment: What a lovely swap you sent. I really enjoyed reading your letter and about your dinner. Totally envious of the note pad with tea cup that matched list pad so perfectly lol. Really great list, the recipe is on my list for next week and the bible verse is hanging on my desk. Thank you so much!
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely poems you sent. The Robert Frost poem is one of my favorites. And it sounds as if we might have the same children's book because that is where I first read it!
I enjoyed both of the Christian poems you sent, especially Home Address.
I'm looking forward to enjoying the tea!
Comment: Hi Christina!! I am super excited to start my week of happy envies!! :) I was supposed to be going on a trip to the ocean with my sister and brother in law next week, but Paul and I were unable to go. So, I will be opening my envies from March 13 to the 20th! Your envies couldn't have arrived at a more perfect time! :) Thank you so much! They are so happily decorated! Love, Shannon
Comment: Hi Christina!! Bugs?!? :) WOW! You are adventurous! That made me laugh out loud!! :) The soup sounds great and I have a bag of lentils in my cupboard, so I am going to try that for sure! The rice sounds yummy too! I am excited for spring and summer, because I am part of a group that gets fresh veggies from local farmers. We pay so much for the season and pick up the veggies at a designated place! I had kale for the very first time last year! So I'll use it this year in the rice dish! :) Thanks for a great swap!
Comment: Thank you for your lovely letter! So much fun to read about your breakfast. Watching the mountains while having your breakfast, that must be awesome!! Thanks for swapping, I really enjoyed it.
Comment: Hi Christina! I am so sorry! I thought I rated you for this swap. Uuggh!! Anyway, I love it!! I am excited to try the recipes, especially collard green stew! Being from Georgia, we had greens a lot when I was little, but after we moved to Wisconsin, not so much! I am so happy to have a recipe now to try out! The veggie Hamburger Soup also sounds yummy!! My hubby is especially excited about that one! I have to tell you that I love the Point of Grace song! That group is one of my faves. Several years ago they came through Wisconsin and did an outdoor concert at a town near me and my sister and I went to see them! It was wonderful! Thank you for such a heart felt swap! I love this series of swaps! We are going to have quite the amazing journal by the end of the year!
Comment: Thank you for the cute package received today. I placed it right inside my bag to open around Halloween. This is always so difficult. I just adore the ribbon with the cat on it. I am going to need some of it! Thanks again. Hugs, Mona
Comment: How fun! Working in pediatrics I use lots of fun band-aids, usually Loony Toones. The envelope and card are my favorite. When I was little, Mom made me some dresses. I have sewn some, but my lines are not very straight! Thank you for always making me smile!
Comment: THANK YOU THANK YOU! I love the gifts and the note. I am having problems navigating this website but I really would like to join your group and if you are interested, keep in touch? Looks like you may have a lot of wisdom to share!

I received today the tea you sent me. All of them look promising! Thank you so very much. It is cold here these days, and I am sure it will be wonderful to sip some tea as I read :)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely letter and teas!
The little man I had in my profile is (was, I have changed it) tonttu = gnome/santa's helper, that is how they traditionally looked here :). I think the image was painted by Jenny Nyström, her paintings are popular in christmas cards, wrapping papers etc.
I received mail from you today. Thank you so very much. The letter was a joy to read, and the postcards are beautiful. I am sure it must be great to live where you do. The tea, I am sure, will be very useful :)
Comment: Mayan Cocoa Spice... It is brewing now. Funny, I do not have a garden, just a flower bed & some potted plants. When I saw the carrot seed I thought, bet they will grow well in a pot. Great minds!

Comment: Thank you for all of the Christmas cards you have sent! My basket is filling up. Also, I received another one from you today, dated 11/20, that isn't labeled with the swap. It's in a white envelope, if you remember which swap it was from, let me know, or I can open it sooner so I can rate you. :) Thanks again!

Comment: Thank you so much for the envelope of fall! It's awesome! Leaves fell out, I'm using the towel and potholders and postcard, book mark and recipe cards are great too. I bet it's pretty where you are with the leaves changing colors. We don't get too much of that here, the leaves fall off the trees too fast. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you, Christina, for these beautiful cards of the Smokeys!!!!!!! I have not been back since my dad died in '86...just did not have the $$ or the way to get there from Texas. My brother had to fly the kids and I to the funeral.
Anyway, the cards are ones that I have not seen and I do believe that I recognized a couple of places..My dad was one to go on trips through the mountains and of course, took many trips over to Cherokee, so you know that these did look familiar!! He loved to do hiking, so the waterfall did bring back some memories!! Thank you for thee memories!!
Comment: I just loved this swap. Your all bucket list and your letter has inspired me to add more to my fall list. I think I'm going to start collecting fall decorations, too! They are so pretty!! Thank you so much for sharing!!

Comment: Christina..Thank you for the great PC and story of your Grandmothers spring house. The house we bought last year in NY is almost 200 years old and we have a free flowing artesian spring in the yard. Comment: Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Television/Movies/and such, and for the cute die cuts. This was a good and thought-provoking swap, for which I thank you for developing and hosting. Christians have an extremely uphill battle when it comes to any media that is presented to us, especially television. Praying God's blessings for you and your family.
Comment: This was such a fun swap. Thank you so much for all the surprises in my grab bag. I like it all. I can't tell you how much I love the pattern card, my grandma used to sew and made most of my clothes when I was young and seeing this pattern brought back such happy memories of my grandma. She made a lot of patterns, we would find a dress in the store I liked, when we got home she would make a pattern for it and then make me the dress. I really like everything you sent. Can't wait to make a writing mistake so I can 'erase' sin away. Thank you so much!
Comment: I'm so excited to open my stocking this year. I have to hide the gifts so I don't open them early. I like your Christmas ideas and look forward to a "countdown to Christmas". Thank you for the gifts. :)

Comment: Thank you so much for your generosity. I love everything including your letter! I don't mind the stationary folded...you have to do that to put it in an envelope when you write someone. Great swap and a pleasure to meet you!

Comment: Thanks so much for all the bird items! The birds are probably confused here in Los Angeles...it's almost 80 degrees today. They are probably thinking that it's summer and they forgot to build their nests. Thanks again, Marjorie
Comment: I love this bobcat - thank you! :oP We have them here too, and though I've spent a lot of time in the woods, I've never seen one. They probably heard me coming a mile away though, because I was always making plenty of noise to let the bears know I was coming. ;o) You may see one yet!
Comment: Hello Christina, Thank you so much for the beautiful animal cards!! I was so happy to see that you were my partner, too. for I had not checked who would be sending to me. Comment: Thank you so much for your thoughtful letter. I enjoyed reading about your life. Your kids seem to be very smart and you're being a really awesome mother for supporting their interests so well. Also, I loved the description of your chicken. I don't know any chicken personally but I've heard they have unique personalities. :) I've thought about getting some chicken if I'll live in my own house one day. I can't eat eggs bought from the grocery store because of the cruel way they are produced. :/ Having bees is also something I'm very interested in! Thanks again for your letter and have a great day. :)
Comment: Oh how super cool. I read the whole envelope over and over again before opening. And what was inside was just as awesome. I <3 the itty bitty stickers so much!!! And the quote card is awesome, too :)
Comment: You write small enough on the PC so that you get your money's worth! :-) I take my PC's to my classroom and display them there. My students are college-level but they like the colours and the break from "serious" subjects like anatomy and pharmacology! xx
Comment: Thank you. You are a happy person. I enjoyed your letter. I like what you sent to describe yourself. Your children are part of your whole. At 15, different they may be, but growing up they are. With happy children, you show a part of yourself. Enjoy your garden, your cooking, and whatever makes you happy.
Comment: Thank you very much for the note, tea and ribbons. I`ve never heard of Numi tea - I don`t think we can get it around here, so I`m looking forward to trying it. I hope you find work soon - I spent all last summer and fall laid off - it was nice at first, as I was able to get all those odd jobs finished, but after awhile it became very boring and frustrating. Best of luck!
PS. I think I need you to organize my craft room - it would be wonderful to know where everything was!
Comment: Thanks for the 3 postcards, Christina. My favorite is the black and white "Miss Marple". It's too bad they don't even mention that Margaret Rutherford is the actress. The red salamander is a beaut too. Thanks for creating a mail art envie to send them in!

I have a few recipes I need to write on cards so thank you for sending those to me too. Comment: Thank you for the great card! Did you make it? It's awesome! It's really cool that your twins were born right before and on Halloween. One of my great-aunt's was married on Halloween, but to them it was just October 31st. :) Thank you for sharing with me. I think I'll add your card to the Halloween banner I plan on making for next month.

Comment: Hi Christina, Thank you for the nice recipe cards and recipe. That pie sounds fast, simple and delicious!
I just found the sweet little bunny charm. It fell into the carpet and I'm so glad the kids didn't vacuum it up (not that they vacuum that often). Thank you for your kind note and sentiments about swap-bot. The good out weighs the not-so-good and the glass is always more than half full here. XO
Comment: I liked the Scripture cards that you made for me. Very encouraging verses! That card with the oranges on it had Isaiah 32:17-18 on it. Such timely verses because we're planning to move to a better neighborhood later on this year. We were searching for "peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest." The Lord led us to a better area to live in.

I have never heard of that place before but we were looking for something to do during our anniversary week (it's our first on the 8th!) and if it's close enough I think we'll ride there.
Thank you again. You brightened my day.
Comment: Hey Christna - thank you so much for the awesome bears and your "little surprise"! I'm so spoilt! NZ Customs had a little surprise for us both - they must have wondered what the penny was when it was xrayed - they had opened both envelopes to have a look! lol Ooooh - maybe I'm on their check list now! rofl. :)
Comment: What a beautiful surprise to find your envelope in my mailbox! It looks like a wonderful place... so very different from here and even Europe. Thank you for sharing! Many hearts for this wonderful swap!!
Comment: Love getting you as a partner because everything you send is wonderful! I love the Great Smoky Mountains, but haven't been back up there in a couple of years. I totally agree with you about Daryl. I just got to go down to Senoia and see where they filmed the Woodbury scenes at. I acted like a total goober the whole time I was there! Haha. Anyway, thanks for the PC!

Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard. Flowers AND Unesco. I also had to send two postcards to the same person in one day. I thought that I had made a mistake when I wrote the address out the second time. We are also busy in our garden, pruning before the winter weather sets in and planting some bulbs to give us color over winter.

Comment: Thank you for the postcard. You are lucky to get most of your grandpa's pictures. I am from a long line of younger siblings. I don't have much. Luckily we are in the digital age and I have been getting some off of other people. Otherwise I'd be out of luck.

Daryl is hot, my youngest girl adores him, I like him to but more for Rick and Glenn is a little cutie.
I think also Michonne is their best asset besides Daryl.
Not sure when it comes back on,the finale wasn't as big as I thought it would be, but it was ok.

Comment: What a delightful packet of "sunny" surprises, Christina! Thank you very much.
You certainly were creative in finding "sunny-yellow" items. I LOVE the buttons and use them either for a paper arts or sewing project. I'm going to turn the little yellow "Composition Book" into a Miniature "Smash Book." The Juicy Fruit gum takes me back to my childhood memories of the drawer in my grandmother's kitchen that always had Juicy Fruit and other kinds of gum and SOMETIMES--not often--some candies or "store bought" cookies. The irony of finding such cookies as treats is that none of us ever had them because we always had home made ones! Isn't that ironic? And the sunflowers are special because I've often grown them in my flower gardens here in Texas, much to my farmer-father's chagrin because they were for him invasive weeds in his crop fields in Nebraska and Iowa. I deliberately grew them to tease him! He's been gone now for 10 years--after suffering Alzheimer's for 10 years. Your sunflowers brought a mix of laughter and tears to my heart! Thank you so very much, and I pray God blesses you richly in the coming weeks! PeggyO

I also liked the Blue Ridge Pkwy and the Great Smoky Mtns PCs - they are both such beautiful places!! And don't ever worry about not having anything that goes into my collections - I just love postcards as they are my way of traveling all over the world!! I'm sure you had a great time at the zoo - they are always such fun but particularly when you have little ones!! Thanks again for the great PCs. . . and you did add to my collection with the spectacular bald eagle!!
