Comment: Thank you for the PC. We're having warm weather. Today is some Midwest style weather, 90° with thunderstorms and hail. Not usual for So Cal. Hope your garden is enjoying the official start of summer.
Comment: Thank you for the CA state capitol and your nice message. I hope your plants are doing well. Growing up in Cascade, I know what you mean by anything can happen in MT. You can have every kind of weather in one day. Good luck with your garden!
Comment: cute doxy thank you... I think my daughters dog has part dox in her coz she has the same type of front paws as one of them; the rest of her is an Australian heeler type mix. Harley is a cute dog. 6/3
Comment: Thank you for the relaxing black and white pc. I've heard that you've some crazy weather your way. I still follow the Great Falls news, just to keep track of family. Good luck with your mowing!
Comment: It has been really cold here too, but very little wind, which is a blessing. It looks like we are heading back to normal here in Oregon. Mask mandate will lift on March 23rd. Heaven only knows what they are waiting for - the fearful will continue to mask and the rest will do whatever is needed. Most of us have gotten used to being apart. Like you, I only go out once a week, sometimes less. Thanks for swapping! Sandy
Comment: Oh my gosh what a beautiful postcard of Spain bullfight ring! Love it so much . It sounds so cold where you live. I live here with gorgeous winters and miserable summers.... and it's the opposite where you live isn't it?
Comment: I LOVE this PC! I have an extra fondness for an old hotel or motel image on a PC. It makes me think of something a traveling salesman would send a little "I miss you" note to his wife on. Of course if my husband were a traveling salesman back then, I'd have been in the "navigator seat" with the highway map. 😃
Comment: Thanks for the cards :-) I'm laughing because I recently bought the Wild Animals of the World set because I had never seen them and thought they were cool. Now here's one sent to me, haha. Happy Day to you!
Comment: Thanks! There’s a few fun stamps that I can use in this assortment, so I’m grateful to you for sharing so many. I especially 💕 the Star Wars droid postage stamp that you used when you mailed these to me!
Comment: Thank you for the vintage card and pretty tags! It is so neat that you can use holiday cards from your mother's collection. That feels a million times more holiday special than any old house decorations; keeping in mind I am a swapper, too, so my opinion might be biased! Thank you!
Comment: Cute postcard! I went without a tree a couple of years but hated it so I put a tree up last year and will start putting my tree up tomorrow. It will take me a couple of weeks to put it up and then my Dh will help me take it down on New years Day.
Comment: Hi Shirley, thank you for the great cards. I also love what you wrote. I feel like that should be posted on the website. If you dont like it swap it. That is why this is so fun. Now this doesnt apply to what you sent! ha. I love them. Pechanga is not too far from here so I can use that for my Postcrossing and I love the vintage ones. Thank you!
Comment: I really appreciate the stamps you took the time to send to me, so many new to me and great ones, clearly picked for me and my specific collections. I also, LOVE the card you sent, with the day dreaming hammock kitten 😻 It looks so much like my kitten Ash ….except she has dark toe beans instead of pink. So stinking adorable 🥰 Thank-you ❤️❤️
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful card! My hubby enjoys the decorating more than anything so On Thanksgiving day (or before) we will be digging the tree out. It's lots of fun after the work is over. LOL! Have a wonderful day!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I could never live there... far too cold for me now. But looking at it on a pc, perfect! We've been hearing about the fires here in Florida. My son just moved from CA to NY so we used to keep really close tabs on the yearly "fire season". So, squash in your garden...is smoked squash now? Lol. 😉 They say in the vineyards that the wine grapes take on a slightly smokey taste giving the wine a smokey nose and palette,... too. Hope you are having luck keeping your raccoons out of the garden...they are so clever!
Comment: Thanks for the HSTs and the note. I'm glad all is well with you, me too. And these HSTs will go into t quilt tomorrow. I had such a big bag of charms I decided to make most of them into HSTs, Keeping me very busy right now and I'm loving it.
Comment: I love these polar bear cubs and great postage stamp! How nice to get mail from Montana too! Definitely Spring here now too. 88 degrees today and I love it! Thank you for a nice swap and take care! : )
Comment: Thank you for all the cool items! I laughed at the It's a Small World postcard from Disneyland! I rode that ride at the New York World's Fair when I was 5, and I hated it! My family could not get me to ride it when we went to Disney World 15 years ago. That one is the same ride as the World's Fair ride. Never again! And I now know to avoid it if we get to Disneyland.
Comment: Thank you Shirley. I really like all of the items you included in this swap. I appreciate the time and effort you took to choose such nice gifts. Thank you also for the nice little note. Sincerely, Alma...PS. I love your homemade envelope. I make them to and sometimes I make a cut matching card to go with. Thanks again.
Comment: Hello Montana! I totally understand the undecided weather day. Our winters are like that here in Seaside. We'll get sun, rain, and hail all in one day, sometimes simultaneously 😂. Cool stamps!
Comment: What a Great Job you did crocheting the Funky Chicken. !!!
Love her shades of blueish green and purple Heart. Thank you so much for joining this Swap. !!!! I think I will hang her up in the kitchen... Hugs ! the one I made I chose Yellow for the Color and Named Her "Butter cup" because there used to be butter cup weeds growing in the Pasture by our House.. What did you name this chicken you made for Me?
Response: Not being a chicken person, I would just name her Kluck Kluck. Glad you like her.
Comment: Thank you for the Statue of Liberty pc and nice message. Love the stamps, too. I know you've been getting some cold weather there but hope it will be better soon. It's been cold here, too but I know it's a different kind of cold than you have. The daffodil fields are starting to bloom, so Spring is on the way. Woo hoo! Thanks again and take care!
Comment: Thanks for the Tower Bridge pc. Very interesting view from that time. Hope you’re warming up in Montana. It almost feels like summer here already. I fear Spring Break will be super crazy with everyone breaking free from their snowbound homes. All the best!
Comment: Thank you for the Minnesota trapper pc and your nice message. I've been following the weather in Montana. I have a lot of relatives and friends there. I've been thinking about the extreme cold you've been having. Hopefully it warms up soon! Take care!
Comment: Wow OH how Nice you found the Pattern of the Heart to make the dishcloth... Thanks for the Scrubby too. I copied the pattern for the heart and one of these days I will sit down and make it..I have some of the scrubby yarn too. they make nice Face scrubbies too..Thank you for the Valentine's Day Card... ! and for joining in on the Swap !! Hugs and Happy Valentine's Day to You too...Love the Stamps on the outside of the Envie... I made a round doilystyle dishcloth for my partner..
Comment: Thank you so much for the Mt. Hood card. I’d love to be able to spend a lot of time in the mountains. Unfortunately I live in the Delta where it’s flat as a pancake. But I still love vacationing to the mountains when I can.
Comment: This was a perfect swap! Made me very happy! I love the card, all the pink hearts, the unique stickers, the note, the lips 👄! and your 2018 valentines stamp which I hadn’t seen before. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful winter mountains postcard! It reminds me of the times I got to go up to Lake Tahoe and go sledding as a kid! This PC was literally my favorite part of today’s mail delivery! It’s the 💙 heart-shape in the snow that just has that effect on me, I think! But, the preverbal icing on the cake was flipping the card over to be greeted by an adorable puppy postage stamp and friendly words from you! 🤗 Mucho Mahalos!!!
Comment: Warm Winter Greetings,
Thank you for the Christmas card & extras. Smiles abound!
I have been away from home since Thanksgiving, so it was like Christmas to open up all my swaps.
Comment: Hi! The swap name wasn't written on the outside of the card so I opened it to look inside briefly just to get the swap name, then put the card right back so I can open it on Christmas! Thank you for the happy mail and I can't wait to open it properly! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for the card and little gift tags. I have never been gifted a fruitcake, nor have I tried one, but I will keep you in mind if the moment arises this year! Take care and have a lovely holiday season!
Comment: HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Thank you so much for the two cloths.Love them both.
Hope your having a good day. My hubby and I are home alone trying to stay safe.Hard not having family come but hope next year will be better and we can be together,...Thanks again
Comment: What's cuter than a Christmas wrapped cat? Nothing! Thank you for the adorable card. It will go up on my "Wall of Cheer" that is a substitute for a Christmas Tree since I cannot have one where I live. It is so hard to face these holidays without family. My two girls live only 2 1/2 hours away but I haven't seen them March. And who knows when I will see my Texas daughter and my sweet granddaughter.!
Comment: Thanks for the pretty card and Donut stickers! It will be my husband and I for Thanksgiving this year. My family have high risk jobs so we aren't getting together this year. But we'll celebrate a bit on our Portals.
Comment: Hi Shirley, it's nice to meet you! I loved the card that you sent and the Titanic postage stamp as well. I hope that weather-wise for you, that November will be better than October was. I can't imagine getting 28" of snow in the month of October. Snow? Yes, but NOT "that" much of it that early in the season. I hope your winter is a mild one for you. (Hugs)
Comment: Thanks for my very nice dishcloth. I do not crochet so this cloth is special to me.
We are staying home and trying to be safe. Getting started on some Christmas gifts. Maybe this year I will be done early, can only hope..Thanks again
Comment: Hi Shirley, Thanks so much for this post. I absolutely love your message on the back; it made me smile. The snowy picture arrived just in time :) Hope your garden is growing well. Thanks again & best wishes.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card and stickers! I loved how you sent a card with a picture of a lady quilting and then inside talked about making quilts!
The washi tape on your envelope came off and got mangled in a sorting machine. The post office put your letter in one of their envelopes. I suggest adding a bit of clear tape on the ends of the washi tape.
Comment: Thank you for the gorgeous mountain postcard. I hope you are enjoying your summer and watching your garden grow. I almost bought a sunflower and then remembered I would actually have to water it lol. Take care :)
Comment: I had to look up the Dignity statue in SD from your list and then I freaked out a little because I've actually been to that rest stop where it's at but it was before they built it! That rest stop was a highlight on my trip because of the views of the river!
Comment: Yes please to the Rocky Mountain PC ( Love it!) I have been to Colorado, to Aurora to be exact. Which is near Denver. I had an Aunt & Uncle that lived in Aurora. They have been gone from this world for years now & I really miss them! Take care & keep on staying safe.
Comment: Love the stamps you used! I can't believe it's supposed to SNOW in Montana! Out here summer came early and the heat has been topping 105 for the past couple weeks. Hope you and your family are well. Thanks for sending.
Comment: Hi Shirley thank you for the great postcard of Pikes Peak that brightened up my mailbox! I hope you are staying healthy during the virus. I've been doing lots of reading and some crocheting. Have a nice weekend! :) Dale
Comment: Wonderfull card from Niagara Falls Canada.
You mentioned it is on your bucket list. we are only about 90minutes from there. The Canadian Side has wonderful flower gardens and a butterfly garden in addition to the falls. And if you like theater, Niagara on the Lake is a fun (but expensive) town with lots of theater.
Thanks for the card
Comment: Thank you much for the Brugge Bruges PC. I know what you mean, about it warming up. It needs to do that here too. As heard on the news if we get our real weather, the Virus would eventually go away. Take care & keep safe.
Comment: Springtime in the Rockies sounds rough in Montana! 40 mile and hour winds at this time of year are probably pretty cold! Thank you for the Stone Bridge PC. I have only seen one other bridge built the same way (that I know of) it was the bridge to Bailey Island in Maine Stay warm, and healthy and safe.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful scenery of Mt. Mckinley! Love it! I am more than ready for planting season too ! I plant veggies & flowers. I have cabin fever so bad. Like you, we had a fairly mild winter. A couple snow storms here & there. But nothing to great. Which suit me just fine!
Comment: Hi Shirley... This is my FIRST Montana PC! Thank you so much. I hope your weather warms up a bit... although, if I go by the old NE weather, it won't :-( I hope you have a wonderful Holiday season as well <3
Comment: Thank you so much for the vintage card, Shirley! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I may just copy your idea because I have lots of unused vintage cards. And the cute tags -- I've got a stack of cards I've been meaning to do this with! Great minds think alike! Happy swapping! :-)
Comment: You decorated your envelope so well with the snowman and the trees. I also really like the shiny sticker on the back. I think I am going to wait until after Thanksgiving to open my cards - if I can wait. Thank you!
Comment: OMG! I loved all of these stamps, especially the hummingbird, the butterfly, and the floral stamps. The elephant was cute too! What can I say, I just love all of them. Thanks for a great swap, cheers! Micaela
Comment: Shirley! Your collection must be absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much for the stamps you sent me, a lot of them I either don’t have or haven’t seen before so thank you! Those circus ones are awesome and so are the national postal Museum ones… Love it all! Have a great day, Micaela 😊📮
Comment: Thank you for the unused stamps. I'm a collector, too, mostly of engraved stamps, UN, air mail, the list goes on. I'd never come across the mineral stamps, and I love the fantastic Grand Canyon pair! Thanks for a great mail day.
Comment: Hi Shirley! Love the pc and always fun to be partners with you! Aren't homegrown tomatoes wonderful? The hubby has gotten a few, the varmints are getting way more - grrr!! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thanks for the lighthouse PC! Ripe tomatoes sound so yummy right now, I wish it wasn't so hot out here! I haven't been able to successfully grow something yet. We reached 118 degrees this weekend. But I still found fun things to do!
Comment: Lovely postcard! Thank you for sharing! I cannot imagine hauling my sewing machine out onto my porch! How nice, though! We started a container garden for our front porch this year and it is blooming! Dozens of zinnias, chili peppers, tiny tomatoes, and peapods! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Comment: I got your cat PC the day after the big booming noises event, Aka known as the 4th of July with neighbors, setting off fireworks. So my dogs and one cat were trembling in my bedroom, most of the night. I hope yours were ok.
Response: Cats were fine, the dog pants and shivered half the night.
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful blocks! I had the same issue with a lack of yellows so I had to go purchase a few. As I was looking for them I found some cute ones, then I couldn't figure out why I never paid any attention to them. I also found----- a few other colors to buy also. LOL!
Comment: Thank you for the United Nations PC and wish I could visit Montana especially if it is raining. Here in GA, we went from Winter to Summer....No Spring. This is the hottest May in years-it is 90 plus. After 4 yrs living here, I have learned to stay inside. More reading and more crafts. Hugs & Happy Swapping
Comment: I loved the postcard you sent, but please take care to write your swapbot ID on the envelope or something in the envelope. I had to look through the participants until I saw your name. Best Wishes
Comment: Love the simplicity of this postcard!! I don’t let any of my cats outside. I’m too much of a worrywart. Plus I live on a fairly busy street and wouldn’t be able to handle seeing if one got hit. On the other hand, mymom’s outside cat is thriving g. Lol

Comment: Thank you for the adorable Mug Rug! I must say that your binding corners are perfect! My bindings need work. :-/ I think it is too good to risk sloshed tea on it though, I'll add it to my Miniature Quilt wall. :-)
Comment: I love the Card!! Thank you so much!!! I hope you and your love ones have a Very Merry Christmas!!!
Holly Jolly Christmas is one of my favorite Christmas songs, seeing your wish, I have to listen to it now!!!
Comment: I love this card! Thanks! Although somewhat sad with the twin towers and all the thoughts behind that. And I love the old stamps! I collect postage stamps! You put a lot of thought into this. Thanks again!
Comment: Love the kitty on the PC with HIS best friend. It was cool for your parents to let you have your special baby. My first cat that was all my own and my best friend was a Russian Blue; he was my special boy! Thank you!
Comment: Such a cute kitty PC! I hug my kitty every day but he doesn't always like it! He's very finicky! My cat only lets his paws get wet when he is drinking water from the shower stall after I get out! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the nice card. I love Halloween but we never have very many trick or treat kids. Just aren't many children in our neighborhood. I always hand out a little candy, balloons and a pencil. They all seem to like the balloons. Thanks again.
Comment: Cute white kitty. I had one named Fluffy when we were kids. She went from New York to California with us in a camper shell. Thought we lost her in a town but she was there when it was time to move on.We loved that ca
Comment: Shirley, thank you for the beautiful postcard. Sorry you’ve never been to a lighthouse, I hope you will someday! There’s something very special about them! Thanks again and I love the stamps you used!

Comment: Aww, to sleep so peacefully as kitties do; and love the PC with the perfect quote (and perfect stamp)! As for 90 degree days, we call those "cool fronts" down here this time of year! Thank you!
Comment: Hi Shirley - thank you for the awesome vintage pc and sore sharing what made you happy! So glad you got your garden planted - do you have a short growing period there? Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: What a great kitty PC! Love his sweet little face and pink nose that matches the watermelon! With the heat we are having here my kitty sits on the porch for only about 2 minutes and then he is ready to come in again! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the postcards - I love the linen card of the Griffith Observatory - I have not been there in years, due to the traffic to get into Los Angeles (I live about 40 miles east of LA). I hope this note finds you well and that summer is kind to you this year! Take care!
Comment: Shirley...thank you for the vintage sugar cane harvesting PC...and for the vintage stamps you used as well. Hope you enjoyed the Art show and other festivities over the St. Patrick Day week-end. We have been very cold here and it certainly in not looking like Spring anywhere but on the calendar!! Hugs, Charlene
Comment: Shirley, thank you for such a pretty vintage postcard. Spring has sprung in Atlanta today was 76 degrees, but I’m originally from Buffalo NY, so I understand long cold winters.
Comment: Thank you for the FL card and note. I have been to FL once in Sept 2012. When I went on a cruise with my daughter and a friend. We did some sightseeing on the way home but I would like to go again as there are still many things I would like to see.
Comment: I hear ya on the snow! getting to where winter is not as fun :) While am thankful for a nice mild warm winter, this snow can start melting away anytime now :) thank you for a beautiful scenery card :)

Comment: Valentine’s greetings,
Thank you for the darling dog card that is self standing. An oldie but a goodie. I also appreciate the extra blank notecard that you included too. Oh and the older postage stamps are awesome!!
Comment: Hi Shirley! Thank you for the nice pc and for telling me about your day! If it would get 40 here, I am thinking folks would be in shorts! LOL! It was 5 this morning and the windchill was in negative numbers - BRRRR!! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you for the string quilt blocks. I am so sorry that I did not rate you when I received them. Everyone uses such a great variety of fabric; this should make a great quilt. I love that you used vintage stamps to mail the swap,
Comment: Thank you for nice card. So glad to see this swap because the charity cards are usually so beautiful. Would be a shame not to use them. And the card had a giraffe !!!! (I collect giraffe things) Thanks again.
Comment: Shirley, thank you so much for the vintage Christmas card and stamps on the envelope. I have saved everyone you have sent me. Your mother must have had hundreds of cards. Merry Christmas, Shirley
Comment: Thank you. I thought this was a cute card when I opened it then I I read the greeting how Santa had to take a part time job to pay for everything on my list. That’s funny because I only have one thing on my list and that would be a building for me to make my soap in. And the one I want is about $8000.00 . How fitting of a card! I love it!
Comment: Such a pretty card! Thank you. No, I love holidays in general. I do not understand why people hate Christmas. It baffles me. I mean, twinkle lights and glitter and cocoa... c'mon, what's not to love!?
Comment: Got the winter card in today :) I agree, it's so beautiful watching the snowfall :) that shoving is the pits! :) Oh wow you guys were having a nice warm day at 45F! that would be such a heatwave for us right now :) we are hanging around the -20F mark these last few days....but butter then the usual -40f :) Thank you for the great card :)

Only my Christmas starts on Dec. 22nd and ends Dec. 26th. I have a lot of family. Want to thank you also, for having joined my swap.
Comment: Thank you for the Christmas by the sea postcard. I was getting ready to write “it reminds me of when I lived in Rhode Island†when I read the caption “Made in USA by Green Acres Workshop, Pawtucket, RI.†It’s a scene of a place I’ve actually been (more or less). Super cool!
Comment: Thank you for the Christmas card and the lovely note card. My husband is a birder. He has been searching for the elusive Snowy Owl, for years. We have heard that they are here in MD, already this year, but we have never seen one in the wild. Have a happy holiday season!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful block! Your envelope came "Postage Due." I can hardly believe but they knocked on my door and collected 3 cents! No worries, I just thought it was hilarious. It is fun having you in my swap! Please join us in the #3.
Response: I will make it up to you, 3 cents, how did they come up with that amount???
Comment: Thank you Shirley for selecting "ART" as the PC subject of PC you sent to me for the swap. CM Russell's artwork I've studied. Love his art of the "Vanishing West" native culture. Happy October!
Comment: We swap Christmas cards again! Thank you for the cute card and pretty stickers, I will use them. I was looking at stickers yesterday at hobby lobby but didn’t buy any. I’ll have to go back next week to get some.
Comment: PERFECT - AWESOME - ADORABLE - how many adjectives can I use to describe this mug rug!!! I absolutely love it and so does my husband! My little dog "Gideon" thinks that you did a fantastic job of capturing the personality and cuteness of a shih tzu! He put his paw of approval on it - thank you so much Shirley..... :-))
Comment: Something terrible happened to your package. The Banana Split icecream must have leaked out and all that was left was an adorable back to school outfit with tote bag and shoes. I just love the clothes but where is the ice cream? Darn, it was low fat, too. I could have eaten twice as much! Thanks for the beautiful sweater, skirt, slacks, tote bag, top and shorts, and shoes. You are so talented. Now I have a craving for Blue Bunny ice cream!
Comment: So cute. I am taking one of my "girls" to be raffled off at a benefit for my DD's theater company in Philly. I am taking a train over and "Rozy Belle" is coming with me. I often photograph my dolls on trips. So I am taking your outfit along with me, because it is so 4th of July and will photograph her in it. When I post it on Instagram I will give you credit and let you know. It is perfect - thanks so much.
Comment: Great PC of the Philadelphia skyline -- I've been there a couple times and it is a great old city. There is so much to see and do there that is historical as well as lots of wonderful fun places and fabulous restaurants. Thanks for the great PC that brought back a lot of wonderful memories for me ~
Comment: beautiful colors in this block, thank you. It was delayed by the post office because they tore a hole in the package and had to repackage it for me. The block itself arrived safe and sound. Thank you Shirley.
Comment: Love the outfit - the shirt and sandals are darling and not something I would make and I love when I get items I don't usually make - so fun. I don't really celebrate April Fools either - but I never pass up a chance to swap AG doll clothes.
