Comment: I love your addition to the little journal ♥️ but especially the bird on your handmade paper 😍😍😍 reminds me of growing up! (Grass Valley, CA 😁) Thank you so much for the great swap! I’ll have fun passing it along!
Comment: Cute little mini journal entry - looks like I’ll need to continue the theme as I just carved another small cactus! 🌵 I adore your bird - his patterns are beautiful and it looks fabulous on your handmade paper! 😍😍😍
Comment: Love your mini art journal! The birds and dream are fantastic! Love that you went colorful with your paper, ink and beautiful envelope. 💖 Thanks so much for the UK postsge!! Definitely a treasure!! 💖💖
Comment: Hi Amy. Thank you for passing on the Used Stamp Chain card for round #42. I will pass on 🙂
Thank you also for your very considerate Christmas pc for my mum. She was so funny... passed to me, cuz it was "swappy" looking... I handed it back to her...It's Yours 😀 she was so surprised and pleased. She loved the Cardinal. She said to tell you that they are her favorite, and she believes they bring her good luck. ☘️
You are so thoughtful to think of her. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I'm sorry it has taken me a bit to rate you. I've had Dr appts up the wazoo. Yesterday, I had a second round of spinal facet injections. Well see how it goes. 🤞 MRI next week.
Comment: So sorry this rating is so late!! I must not have hit save and it never posted to you! I love your postcard and your carving! The font is gorgeous and the saying is perfect!! I can barely write that beautifully- much less carve so exquisitely!! ❤️❤️❤️
Comment: I love the postcard you sent me! We have some of those antique christmas ornaments -- my mom said they are from the 1940s and 50s and they are really delicate and therefore you dont find many of them in antique stores and when you do... they are expensive!! I LOVE the ones I have because they were my grandparents and always on their tree when I was little!!
Thank you for the vintage stamps too!! OH and I LOVE your decorated envelope!! xx Gabi
Comment: Hey Amy! first off, TYSM for joining my swap!😀 I so appreciate that you did. TYVM for the Alice in Wonderland glitter PC. I love it very much! I also loved your nice note and the vintage stamps you put on the PC as well ! I hope you & your loved ones have a wonderful Christmas!
Comment: I was so happy to find your envelope adorned with the yawning lady and so many different postage stamps in my mailbox today! Thank you for the great variety of stamps and ephemera. I really like the blank postcard and the Chinese paper and your special ATC, too!
Comment: Thanks so much for the cute kitten card. Adorable! Catty sounds like a cutie. I know what you mean about them catching birds and mice. I hate to see that, too. My cats stay indoors but sometimes catch mice who made the mistake of coming inside. Cathy
Comment: Dear Amy, oh wow, this envelope looks amazing! *.* And it arrived safely and without roblems. XD The book you're reading sounds interessting and despite my "to read"-list is already very long, I will still put it on, too. XD
Have a great week!
Comment: Amy, thank you so much for the ATCs. I love them. Your carved stamped image is awesome. I tried doing some carving myself, but my skills are not as refined as yours! Thanks for sending that too!
Comment: I love this envelope so much! If you ever do your hand cut relief Plague Doctor as a print, and get me in this swap again, would frame it. Thank you so much for such a kind and creative swap! ♥
Comment: Thanks for the swap and your nice note. CA is one of the three contiguous states I haven't visited. We were planning on visiting in the spring of 2020. We are beginning to think about traveling again though probably road trips to begin with.
Comment: Thank you for your beautiful postcard with the pin-ups and the stamps you have chosen :) I also put tomatoes in my garden !! They are now starting to make small clusters <3 Basil, on the other hand, cannot resist me, I realized that you wet it too much :(
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely handmade paper! I enjoy doing that too, and have also experimented with adding flowers. I was surprised it didn't do as much as I expected. I need to pull my gear out and make some more too! I've also played around with making stamps, but nothing as cool or complicated as the gorgeous caligraphy you made! Cool stationery too, and I really covet your little prickly pear sticky note! Cactus blossoms are one of my favorite things! Thank you, thank you!
Comment: I loved reading your letter! Ok, so I need to try hand making paper myself. I've always wanted to and you basically gave me great directions. And wow! I've never seen flower seeds at Goodwill either, but it sounds like you got a great selection. Reading about your flower seeds for butterflies reminded me of this one time I was walking up the sidewalk to the front door of a friend's house and there were these flowering plants all along the length of it and as I walked, tons of butterflies suddenly started flying into the air. It was so magical! Thank you for the extra goodies too!
Comment: thank-you SO MUCH for the beautiful coffee themed ATC! Absolutely love it :) Also thank-you for sending me the coffee themed stamps, you are too kind & I'm so happy to finally have them :) <3 You just made my day
Comment: Love the homemade paper! Really adds depth to your ATC. Did you really carve the stamp? I'm amazed. Wish I could be that talented! Thank you for taking time to make this little piece of art so special. 💚💚💚
Comment: Thank you for such an amazing swap! I loved the envelope and the green in the stamps you chose and thr Christmas seal was such a wonderful added bonus. Love the trees stamp too as well as the wonderful selection of stamps and the washi was just perfect! ❤️❤️❤️
Comment: I'm impressed with zine makers who are good storytellers. Your quarantine story is so relatable and your beautifully carved images really illustrate the story well. The zine is quality. Thanks for the handcarved suns square I noticed how cool the paper is and then read that it's handmade. It takes ink really well. That's a nice extra.
Comment: Thank you so much, Amy, for the very interesting Covid-19 Quarantine zine! I love it! Very topical and I love hearing about others’ experiences with this in their communities. The stamps you carved are WONDERFUL! The extra sun prints on the handmade paper is awesome! I love it all!!!
Comment: Is it weird to say that I enjoyed your zine when it's about this unique situation that we are all in? It's historical! I really love your carvings and love the handmade paper! (And I also started following the Body Project during the pandemic too!!)
Comment: Thank you for joining the swap. I always wonder about pictures I find in books...because I'm sure it was a picture that brings the reader joy because [I'm assuming] its not a random thing to use as a bookmark...they chose it for a reason, right?Did you see the news about the Van Gogh artwork used as a bookmark? 🤯Wow!!
Here's the link:
Comment: your gorgeous envelope arrived this morning.
thank you for the intricate ATC. The notelet is delightful. Your handmade paper has turned out very nicely. I recently ordered some paper made from plants (Etsy)
Comment: Thank you for the awesome historic card!
It has to be weird to work from home for so long. I‘m at home since May 2020 now (because of pregnancy and maternity) and if I‘d have time I would miss my colleagues a lot (and also the way to work by subway where I read every day).
Hope everything will be normal soon!
Comment: Thank you for the amazing ATC! I wouldn't hv guessed those were security envelopes. Nvr really noticed the pretty patterns on them. The embossed clear sticker is beautiful! Thanks for the lovely extras. Till we swap again! 😉
Comment: Thanks Amy for this long and lovely letter.
Also I love the PC, bookmark and wow that prayer flag 🙏🏻
Did you enjoyed the 4th of July celebration? And how are your vegetables doing? I understand what you mean about gardening. It goes with trail and error.
Here the library’s had the same construction during the lockdown.
Hopefully those times are forever in the past.
Take care and hugs from the Netherlands 🤗
Comment: Thank you for sending the cards on!
I love to browse through the cooking section in the library too! Unfortunately they don’t have a Big Collection. Therefore they also have some cooking magazine with new issues regularly.
Comment: Thanks for the kitty card! I got my vaccine in April, with the 2nd dose the day before an in-person job interview. My body let me drive an hour and interview, get the job 2 hours later, then got a fever that night. Go body! I gave it plenty of rest, and am now happy to be becoming an English teacher!
Comment: I absolutely LOVE the ATC! Thank you so much!!! Did you know I was born in Auburn? One of the last. (they tore the hospital down after I was born). So weird getting a letter with the return address of my home town! :-)
Comment: Thank you so much for the gorgeous ATC! (and the stamped envelope - I wonder if everyone who gets into carving does a ginkgo leaf - there's something very appealing about them) The seahorse print you sent in the last swap is off being matted right now. :-)
Comment: The Popcorn bag! Yas! Makes such a pretty envelope! Darn, that mail clerk drew a line thru the pretty butterfly stamp. I hate that! LOL The ATC is sooooo preeeeettty! Hay, those ice cream cuts outs....are those vintage, they look vintage? Happy excellent swap!
Comment: WOW, what an amazing swap to receive. I adore these, especially the ATC (strong contender for favorite to date). I feel so inspired now to learn more about carving and printing! I haven't tried multi-block printing yet, but maybe I'll get there eventually - absolutely love your results - I'll definitely frame the seahorse! Thank you so much - here is an extra bonus ❤!
Comment: Thank you- I love how your ATC turned out-beautiful! My lilacs have not bloomed yet, but soon, usually around Mother's Day. I have been covering the new ones nearly every night lately as it as been dipping below freezing. Lilac scent is really my favorite, but you can never find anything like a candle, soap, etc. that actually smells like the real thing, so when they bloom I am just constantly sticking my face in them and inhaling. Even when we are on walks and it's someone else's lilac near the sidewalk!
Comment: Amy, thank you so much for sharing your reality. I may not know the entire story, but I have dealing with similar situations, and it can be tough. However, there are good days as well, and I hope you experience them more than once in a while. Aside from everything else that's going, I do hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. Sending love and happiness your way! 😊💖
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful postcard and stamps. And the stamped lady reading reminds me of Helena Bonham Carter. Reading your charming profile ... I love how you mentioned reading the typeface descriptions in books because I always do too. Enjoy the swaps!
Comment: Thank you so much! What an amazing swap to receive. The stamp of the plane on the back is amazing! And the washi is so perfect. Where did you get the note paper with the paper airplane on it? Loved all the details. I could go on and on! Thank you!
Comment: Wow, what an awesome mailing to receive! Thanks so much for the stamps & I love the photo!! My son claimed it for his collection. We restore old scooters & he has a license plate collection going. 🙂
Thanks again & I wish you all the best.
Comment: I love your calligraphy! And you carved the pen yourself? Impressive! I love doing calligraphy, too, but I find I concentrate so much on the letters that I'm more likely to misspell a word! I have to be extra careful about that! How did you learn to carve the pens? Sounds fun! Thanks so much for the note and book suggestion! One that is especially appropriate for where I live for sure! I'll check it out!
Comment: Thank you so much for the super cute Valentine and the lovely stickers. I loved the airmail envelope you sent in too. I hope you and yours have a wonderful Valentine's Day!! Thanks for joining the swap. 💜💌
Comment: Please tell me that when the nurse picked the rocks out of your face, it was also 2 days before picture day, so you can truly sympathize. My Mom insisted that I get my picture done anyway, and I was so embarrassed when she gave them out to family....Its funny now but at 7 I was mortified.
Comment: Hi Amy, Loved the postalette. I loved hearing about your plans for your garden and about Baby. Thanks for the lovely washi tapes and cat playing card, I love them. Wishing you a happy and safe 2021
Comment: Thank you for the lovely christmas card Amy! Did you do the christmas shopping on time? We are in a hard lockdown now, but luckily we got our christmas decorations early. Hope you have a good last day of the year!
Comment: I cannot possibly give you enough hearts! This was so thoughtful and caring it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so, so much! The Instax pic of your BLM postcards is on my daughter's bulletin board in her room now. She's 12, she knows what's going on, and it really means a lot to her that you care. Thank you!
Comment: Oh Amy, the perfect pinkness of this ATC (APC, really) is just lovely! I adore the vintage Father Christmas images, and your embellishments are just right. Thank you also for the incredible marbled papers...those will be hoarded and used only for very special projects (not swaps!). It's a joy to swap with you!
Comment: Thank you for the pc and tag! I haven’t heard a Christmas song yet, probably because I haven’t been shopping and I’m always listening to an audiobook. Lol. I’ll have to listen to my playlist soon.
Comment: Love it all! Great envelope with the bunny and matching stamps! Love the ATC with the clear Dymo labels! You definitely waited too long to use them! My neighbour was with me when I opened the envelope and we both noticed and loved the clear labels. Great font too. I know you got the labels ages ago but I’d love to know the font of the Dymo! Such pretty colours too. Love pink for fall (the deer made me think fall) Thank you so much.
Comment: absolutely gorgeous postcard and I love the bunny shadow pupped stamp! I've been working hard to create peaceful spaces in my home (redecorated my front porch to make a reading nook and bought a bunch of house plants for my work-from-home corner of the kitchen table). I hope you are finding peaceful spaces too!
Comment: I'm so glad you joined this swap and shared your own carved stamped images. They're fantastic! You sent so many, lucky me! And I like all the different papers and inks you used and your cool envie too. They will all be used. Can't wait to play! Enjoy those blue skies. We too had some blue skies today but Autumn has definitely arrived. Thanks again for such a lovely swap!
Comment: Thanks for playing! Congrats on cleaning the garage! I helped my sister move from the house she lived in for 58 years. That was a lot of cleaning and cleaning out! My daughter also just moved from one town in Virginia to another and we helped her with that - again, lots of cleaning. I'm taking this week off! LOL
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing your letter and for the lovely extras. Your envelope of Wonder Woman and the staying strong theme is on point. Plus so true!! I’m trying to get my mental health together so I can get stronger in other ways, and so I can be a better ally. It’s the whole, you gotta help yourself first on the sinking ship so you can reach out and help others. At least for me. I didn’t use to take care of myself before I did others, and it was never not worth doing but it takes a bigger toll and leaves me with less to help others.
Take care of yourself and I’m so glad you’ve had positive interactions.
I once had police show up to my house for a wellness check (it was a bad situation and a selfish friend who made it about her rather than about me, ironically—another friend told her to not do that because it would trigger me, and it did.). I have PTSD among other issues, and as soon as that officer showed unannounced, armed, I was triggered. Fortunately, I managed to shout, I have PTSD! And the officer put his own hands sort of up and took a step back and told me he was there just to talk and help. I was lucky. If I were a Black man, I don’t know if it would’ve been as good an interaction—I certainly would like to give that officer then benefit of the doubt that he would’ve done the same for anyone, but the news so often shows that’s not true.
Keep on gardening but watch out for the heat!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Eiffel Tower postcard, I LOVE it!! Hope you had a good cook out for the 4th - we were surrounded by illegal fireworks at home and a tree caught fire around the block so it was a stressful night! :O Take care and be safe and thank you for the awesome "old" postage stamps!
Comment: Hi Amy! Thank you so much for the awesome Cowboy ATC. It came out so cute and I love the Cowboy stamp that you used. So cool how you created a story and the way that you packaged was so authentic. I hope you enjoyed the theme. Thanks for joining! Take Care -Vanne
Comment: Thank you for the amazing giraffe card! I love it. It reminds me of the Griffin and Sabine books by Nick Bantock. You should check them out. I'll check out the Broken Earth books, thanks for the recommendation. I'm really missing the library these days. Take care.
Comment: You're lucky your state is on lockdown. Everyone is driving around NC continuing the spread. We still go to work even though there's 5 cases in my county now so I'm sure the numbers will get higher soon. Stay safe.
Comment: Thank you for the pretty postcard! Here in the northeast the only thing coming to life outside in my yard is a patch of snowdrops. When I see them poking through the ground in defiance of winter I know that spring is on its way! :)
Comment: Thanks for the lovely note. It has been gorgeous here as well. I'm taking my dog out for a walk in a little while. So nice to be able to do that on a nice sunny day in February--without a jacket or sweater! I love lemonade anytime--wish I had a tree to supply me, but I have friends who always share their bounty!
Comment: Love the bookish postcards! I know you didn't start them, but anyway. Thanks for carrying on! Playing a baby grand is always a treat. Good job learning "The Tennessee Waltz" so quickly. My Dad used to like that song.
Comment: Thank you for sharing a bit about your weekly library adventures! I never thought to get recipes there (duh), and I’m very interested to learn more about the audiobook you mentioned prescribing poetry for your worries! Very clever 😉 Thank for sparking some inspiration AND doing so on a nice postcard of a mailbox I don’t yet have in my collection! Like the vintage postage stamps too!!!
Comment: Hi Amy thank you for the Classic Pooh collage card. I really like it and did you stamp/paint the back...it's lovely <3 thank you for using a variety of colourful postage stamps. Happy 2020 swapping peace love light

Comment: Thanks Amy for this wonderful swap! It deserves 2 hearts! I love the testuring you did on the outside envie and the ATC with birdies is perfect. Thanks too for all the extras and the brightly colored stamps! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Very cool information about the surrealist telephone game. I did some searching to find out more. This would be a fun art classroom activity. In my online search I found a game that I'll probably buy -- Telestrations. It's based on this idea. Kind of a pictionary game and telephone game. Thanks for the postcard Eclectonote. The Janis Joplin postage stamp was a nice touch.
Comment: Received your PC today and Thank you! I miss California! I was an Army brat back in the late 60's and lived in South Gate, Ca. near Los Angeles about 7 miles. Lived there for 4 years. You know where South Gate is?
Comment: lol you got me. What is the book pix? I looked, and looked. It seems its a flow of books behind a door. Did you notice the rabbit riding a book? Very cool. Either way its all very cool esp. the rubber stamp. Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! It's so hard to stick to a diet this time of year...I've given up even trying to watch what I eat until January 1st lol. I'm just trying to make sure I keep exercising so at least I don't gain weight lol
Comment: Thank you for making my day by sending a postcard fave from my home state of California! I enjoyed reading your ideas for self-care too! The swimming idea is one that I hadn’t thought of in a while!
Comment: Hi Amy and thank you for the fab bundle of coffee dyed papers. I love this technique and the results it gives. And you sent me such a fun variety of papers to use. Your little sewn pocket is adorable and thank you for the stamps you included. And I must tell you that the envelope you made to send all of this is just fantastic! I hated to tear it open and am going to save it and use pieces of it for future projects. Thanks so much for a great swap!!
Comment: I am in LOVE, both with the atc and the vintage ephemera you shared. Thank you so so much. Forgot to mention how much I appreciate the rabbit touches, I’m keeping everything to reuse down to the envie and stamp!
Comment: Love the envie! I thought it was a pencil telling at the envelopes, but now I'm wondering if they are singing? Anyway, it will get included in my journal. Thanks for the extras. Happy autumn to you!
Comment: Hay, thats cool that you found a swimming card to match your "weapon". lolol But is the diver in that picture FLAT? He looks flat. Have you noticed? lololo Hay, love all the stamps! And I appreciate the rainbow stamp too! So pretty! Thank you!!!!!!!
Comment: Thanks for the cool card featuring the circus performer on horseback, Amy, and for choosing one of those great circus stamps as well. Sadly the wicked mail delivery witch destroyed them with her thick black marker -- but don't get me started...Charming rubber stamp image too :)
Comment: I am very sorry that the first original mail hasn't been delivered - mail service can be crazy sometimes. You have been so nice and kind both in replying to my messages and in resending.... Thank you. And may you be repaid in the same way that you treated and comunicated with me.
Comment: Wow, thanks for my favorite washi mail yet! Beautiful watercolor art on the envie, and unique cool samples that I can tell you chose for me 👍 I'd love to do a washi swap with you so we can swap some cool tapes from our collections!
Comment: Amy, a couple of envelopes fell into a black hole in my living room. My mail got mixed in with my adult daughter's mail. The black hole spit it out yesterday. Sigh.... Thank you for a LOVELY ATC. Lovely stamps and just a pretty ATC. Thanks so much. Happy swapping.
Comment: Thank you for the unusual PC, I will send it on in the next swap :). Thank you for the buttons, they are super cute, I will use them in a journal swap I am working on, they will be perfect for it
Comment: Already the envelope with its subtle decoration and the loads of wonderful stamps would have been worth a heart. Thanks for the wide variety of pages with different languages and styles. It will be a pleasure to use them.
Comment: Thanks, these are one of my favorite kind of cards. I have quite a few but not this one. I used to have a trading partner in the UK and he would send me cards of marching military bands and such. My favorites of those were when the unit or band had an animal mascot, most of which were big white goats with massive horns. Have a great weekend. Rich
Comment: This card is so fashion forward and cool makes me want to go to the event tgey are going to what ever it is. Basically that means your card inspires me to make up a story and that makes this card so very much cooler than cool I love it thank you
Comment: I love the ATC with the owl and nest on the collaged background. Thanks for the swap and the great extras. We had green stamps also but they were S&H. The foreign language pages will be great to use in collages.
Comment: Oooh, you have a good reading list going. There are so many books on my TBR list that I hardly know where to begin! Thanks for sharing your list and the wonderful Shakespeare & Co. postcard. I love it!
Comment: What a wonderful mermaid postcard! I love how you decorated the written side too! Lovely stamping! I think I can finally say I'm tired of winter, too! It's still too cold in the mornings to not wear a sweater or light jacket. I'm ready to break out my spring and summer shoes! Take care!
Comment: Thank you. I love it! I'm going to put this one in my album. I love typewriters. I inherited one from my aunt when she passed years back. I hadn't gotten around to finding a tape for it. I think I will now. you have inspired me.
Comment: Oh boy did you hit all the high notes with this swap! Love the envie, love the typing and green ink! Swoon!!! The photos are so cool! I'm still learning mine and more are "no" than "yes" but then I come from a photography background and may be too fussy. Thanks for sharing everything!!!!
Comment: What a lovely picture on this card! So cute. Also I love that weather/date stamp, very unique. I wish I could play an instrument, that is so kind of you to volunteer your time and talent in such a way. Have a beautiful day!
Comment: This is really interesting and nicely done. Thank you and thank you as well for the cool seahorse stamped ATC. I'm a little surprised you don't sign the fronts of your artwork or even initial it.
Comment: Thank you so much for this swap. This is the most impressive swap I have ever received. I love the photos you sent along with the beautiful note and stickers. Thank you so much for very well thought out swap.
Comment: Love postage stamps, and love this ATC. Glad the USPS finally got around to bringing a pile of mail that they had been hoarding for me. I appreciate reading magazines with articles about preparing for the holidays after the holidays are pretty much over.
Comment: What a festive postcard! I love all the vintage Christmas stamps you used! I'm gonna have to start collecting some unused ones! Thanks so much! I had a peaceful Christmas day, with my kids while hubby worked during the day. Hope you had a great day also!

Comment: Loved, loved, loved your postcard and stamp! Also loved your awesome penmanship and date/weather stamp. Very cool! Bonus when you don't cover the image by the postage stamp and just let it be. Thank you!!
Comment: Hi Amy. I got your postcard. It's so lovely. I love the colors a lot and your hand carved stamps. Are those your's or were they something you received from the first part of this swap? Anyway, the whole thing is lovely. Thank you.
Comment: Hi Amy. Thank you for your lovely Christmas card. I love your calligraphy and don't worry about the misspelling of my name (I once had someone call me Louse...) And thank you so much for using s many great stamps, especially the magic bunny! All the best, Louise
Comment: Thank you so much for this PC of Elizabeth Blackburn! I know exactly who she is, I've read her book "The Telomere Effect" and she is on the scientific board of the company I work with, Shaklee Corp! I didn't know she was on a postcard! :)
Sorry for the delay in rating, I have been traveling for the last month. Thanks again!

Comment: This is so pretty. If I had to say my favorite shade of orange, this is exactly it. I love the art on both sides, and wow, carving your own stamps takes SERIOUS artistic talent. Thanks so much!
Comment: Thank you for the great postcard, and special thanks for not only completing the swap, but also sending a profile-based card! Also, your handwiring is so beautiful! I would love learning how to write like this! (it's rather drawing, so gorgeous)
Comment: Woooaaaaaah, thank you SOOOOOO much! <3 The vellum envelope is so pretty - and I can't believe you actually found me some mineralogy stamps! And all the other science-themed ones are great as well, you absolutely made my day!!! And wonderful ATC, such a cute robot! <3
Comment: Thank you soooo much for this wonderful envie that was so much more than a book themed postcard. I loved everything, you really made my day! And in our next swap I'll tell you all about how I got to live here. Go Gauchos! ;-)
Comment: The illustration is fascinating and so dreamy-- it must be an adolescent literature, I'm guessing. Or perhaps is it from a book of poetry. Thank you for sharing it with me! I enjoy something more unique than most of what I find to use for these swaps. Happy postcard swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the cool tomato polaroids! I should’ve sent a photo of my raspberry tree to my partner 😭 also, LOVED how you decorated the envelope! I don’t have an eye for creative decoration ); anyway, thanks again ~
Comment: I love the bookmarks. You only had to do one and you did two-Thank You. How clever of you to use the Tyvek envelope as material of the rose colored stamped one. The gold one is a great postal and french country collage esk one so profile based and laminated. You have fun handwriting and great stationery. What a great partner you are!!
Comment: Hello Amy,
Thank you for both postcards you sent me --one required for this swap and an additional one that you sent with your note and some more stamps for me. That was very kind to send the extra stamps. I will add some stamps to your postcard and send it along when a new swap is up..
Comment: Great washi, it's nice to be called "Gorgeous"!! Made my day! Love the way you used calligraphy for my address too! I'll take a grilled burger, save mine in a warm oven and I'll be there in a jiffy! Thank you!
Comment: Hi Amy! Love the CA PC. Having just gotten back from there, I sent CA PCs too! Wish I could live there like you do.. I think you are very fortunate to live in such a beautiful city :-). Thank you for the PC <3
Comment: Always a pleasure to see mail from you in my mailbox, Amy, so your Wonder Woman envie brought a smile to my face even before I saw the two great postcards you sent. The hut doorway in India looks like a photo I might have taken & the Nuba Man is a great introduction to Tibor Kalman. Thanks so much.
Comment: Hi, Amy, thank you for all of the fun goodies you shared with the used stamp chain pc! I was so surprised to see all the extras...loved the Jokers and the vintage blue chip stamps...how awesome! All of the extras will be put to good use. Thanks so much for your generosity. The Wonder Woman envie was awesome, too! ❤️
Comment: Thank you for this! for some reason, this showed up in my mailbox this weekend, despite the mid January postmark. Didn't mean to deprive you of the rating for 4 months, but it just arrived. How are the exercises in the drawing book coming?
Comment: Thank you for your letter, PC's and tag. I am on Naturally Slim and since 1/8/18 have lost 36 pounds. It is the easiest thing I've ever done. You can check it out online. The money you pay for the plan is definitely worth it because of all the money you save in food. I have type 2 diabetes and this week I will be able to get off all my meds including insulin.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful art. Resourcefulness wins every time! It's been a winter of learning for me, and the colors of your piece suggest a spring of growth, something that I am really looking forward to :). Glad that the funky flag is still flying! I took a picture of it and use it to identity "home" on my phone :)
Comment: Sorry I didn’t rate earlier I was on vacation. I absolutely LOVE the Stamp slapped postcard with the Sunflower!!!!!! You did a awesome job! Comment: What a beautiful card that I received in the mailbox today. I love the style of card with the glitter to highlight buildings or whatever they want to highlight. I just think it’s so pretty and they seem to be done on all the older PC’S though but that even makes it nicer.
Thank you you for the card I am hoping to see our flowers bloom soon we’ve had rain the other day and now it’s nothing but ice out there which I hate trying to work on hopefully it will go away soon as well. I missing the flowers and I can’t wait, hopefully very soon. Happy swapping

Now the contents, which are technically incidental to the swap. More stamps: merganser, Einstein, energy conservation, Shakespeare and telegraphy. All exactly to my taste. A postage-paid postcard of the USA from 1972 and three lovely little warblers. Then some very interesting savings stamps and two beautiful ex-libris plates. It is all just lovely. Thank you very much! Yours, Sonia (Su_May)

I can recommend Morocco especially! I've also been to Istanbul which is really a lovely city, but Morocco was more special since the culture is much more different from ours.
I also play music! Piano, recorder and guitar. Right now I learn guitar, piano and recorder I studied when I was younger. :)
Thank you also for sending the Chinese envelopes! They are lovely and your envelope is awesome! Thanks for everything! :)
Comment: Hi Amy. I was thrilled to get your zine today - my very first! I loved the prints and the ephemera, too. I could write all kinds of things, but I'll save that for a letter which I'll write by the end of the week. Thank you!

Comment: Thank you for the lovely and creative envie and I just love the hand carved stamp ATC! I have recently chosen a charity-sale book with a Renaissance angel on the cover by an author I've enjoyed as well (A Thread of Grace by Mary Doria Russell). Currently I am totally absorbed by Hugh Howey's "Wool" . Thanks again :0)
Comment: Hi Amy- you are such a fantastic stamp carving artist! WOW! Thank you so much for the awesome rabbit and labels. I too wasn't sure about the kraft/bling combo (love kraft paper, not so much "bling"), I think it definitely works here- your singing mail is adorable. I'm just starting to carve stamps, it's fun but a bit frustrating. Are you just using the speedyball carver thingie? I just realized yesterday the white carving block is far inferior to the pink, what a crumbly mess! Any tips for a newbie?
Comment: Thank you for your great colourful envie of rubber stamps and the swap. I appreciate the message you sent. The other swap sent is fantastic. I miss using rubber stamps, and your black-and-white one is suberb with the cool playing card. Too bad the postal clerk used pen to mark off the nice stamps used. The Christmas stamps are great. I'm in swap euphoria - whew!
Comment: Hi Eclectonote! Thank you so much for the very cool postcard! Love the pieces you chose and how you put them together. I think getting to the market and the library constitutes a workout so ... you're good! Ha ha ha! XOXO

Comment: I was so excited to see your original envie in my mailbox! LOVE the homemade plague doctor stamp. You have mad talent, dear! Did you use acrylic paint to stamp with? That will be put to use ....EEEEEmmediately. Thanks for sending mail art and goodies that are really me! You took the time to read my profile and I kiss you for it! Until we swap again, my dear! Thanks for the ephemera from there too!

Comment: Thanks for the terrific card, Amy. The coffee print reminds me of a wood block print my brother made for a coffee shop,c. 1960's, (that unfortunately I couldn't find to use for my card!). Wonderful UN coffee stamp too. Sadly, some crazed US Postal System worker saw fit to slash through your beautiful vintage postage stamps with a broad black marker--but don't get me started... I must be in need of a cup of Cosmic Perfection!
Comment: Oh my goodness! Two 46 cent make my day surprises! How did you make the holder for the stamps? Loved all the different packaging ideas. You are first rate when it comes to making my day! A thousand thanks! Thanks for sending me the directions! You are THE BEST!
Comment: What a clever atc. I never would have thought of using that closure. Thank you for reading my profile and sending extra goodies. I would love to carve stamps, and have all the supplies to do so, just haven't the nerve to start one yet. Wonder Woman was my comic hero when I was young. Anyway, thank you for a great swap.
Comment: Your writing is like poetry! I loved reading this letter, especially the details of your home~ It was great to hear about your routines (I also have nail polish scattered around my desk and work area). Thanks so much for an awesome letter!
