The feather looks laminated but I think it's a finish...a good one - it's so clear. I appreciate all the stickers, flowers are a favourite and the ATC papers & watercolour PC blanks are amazing! Also adding the type of paper on the backing is such a good idea! So many great goodies! Last but not least the sticker back fabric pieces (new to me) & the little watercolour card with samples is so cool. ♥️♥️

Response: Hi! If it helps, there's this site https://www.namenskarte.com/ where people can look up in which parts of Germany names are common. "Gherke" does not exist, but if you meant to type "Gehrke", that's more common in the northern parts of the country.

Comment: I have only been to Europe once. It was 4 years ago. My husband and I flew into Copenhagen and spent our time there and then drove few a few days to Hamburg and Lübek. It was a wonderful trip. I hope to see more of your country!! Thank you for reminding me of the bay. I have ancestors who departed for America from here in the mid 1800's. My husband's family the Goebels are from there as well.

Comment: It's special cause I just love the glitter you added! How did you do that? I want to try that. :D Thank you for the very pretty tropical ATC. It's one of my new faves.
Response: I'm so glad you like the card! I simply painted the picture in two layers: sea and sky in the background, and the plants in the foreground. I then cut a hole into the foreground picture and glued a piece of an ATC sleeve I cut into pieces behind it. (Other transparent foil works as well, but ATC sleeves were what I had.) I then put double-sided foam tape on the background layer, poured the glitter in the middle and then stuck the top layer on. After that I just had to cut out the outside of the card. :)

Response: I'm so glad you like the swap! :D I was looking for adult coloring books, and then I saw the sea themed one, and I just had to get it for you. ^^ By the way, the ATC is drawn completely with a teal gel pen. Most gel pens are watersoluble, so when you use a paintbrush and water on them, you can get watercolor-like effects. :)

Response: Um, that's stuff from a spray can. You spray it on the finished painting so the colors don't run into each other in case the card gets wet on its way in the mail system. :) I'm glad you like the card!

Comment: What a beautiful card! I love the edelweiss :) I saw them in Austria, once. We have a similar flower here but it is more of a prairie plant than a mountain plant. They are called "pussy toes" and have the same water-conserving hairs all over them.
