Comment: So much fun to open! It was so filled with goodies! I loved taking out each envelope and seeing what was inside. You really succeeded in making it pretty both with the goodies and with the goodies taken out. I loved how you put the envelopes between the front and back and just, i loved so much. It was so much fun swapping with you and I cant wait for our next swap. Longer letter in pm soon!
Comment: I received your letter, thanks a lot! And yes, I'll be happy to continue our correspondence! :) The zine is indeed a good reference! And as for the reader journal, I'm currently writing notes from the books I read in my bullet journal, but the problem is that I don't keep my planners, so I'll need to think of something. In my current planner I have the notes (books and others) which are definitely worth keeping. I look forward to our exchange of letters!
Comment: I LOVED your letter - it was so beautiful (cool wax seal!) and really interesting! Now I want to see pictures of your t shirt collection lol. Thank you so much for the cool letter!
Response: Glad you liked it! Oh, I've never even taken pix of my collection. I'm very overweight, but I've been working out now that I moved and losing weight, so my plan is when I under-grow these, I'll have them made into quilts. There's a website that offers that. I probably have enough for a whole Doctor Who quilt alone! If I get around to taking pix, I'll send you a link. Now I kind of want to... Thanks for the heart and rating!
Comment: This was a fun swap! I love answering and reading everyone's questions. I like the digital stamps. I need to check those out.
Response: Yeah, that was fun. I got annoyed at myself when I reached my questions. Like, really, Jen? Do you have to ask such involved questions? Haha! Thanks for the rating and heart, and I'm sending you a PM re digital stamps.
Comment: Great Book PC an "I wish I had those bookcases full of books and the overflow" image. Your handwriting is a great. I like the Jennifer font. Your current book sounds interesting. At a group lunch today , there was mention of a coloring book profiling the type of bad guy in your book. Interesting to come home and the subject continues. Plan to explore your book more. Thanks for being a great partner.
Response: A coloring book? That's interesting... Okay, that's weird. But something for everyone. Yeah, I would love to lounge in that bookstore or library! I received the same card from my partner and I'm glad cuz I LOVE it! But I don't keep blank PCs. I like my written and stamped and mailed and from not me. Let me know what you think of the book if you get around to it.
Comment: Thanks for the great PC. I love the Shuttles. A big part of me was so sorry to see the end of the program.
I agree that most people will probably say Kittens. I said 'kisses', which is probably the number two answer.
Response: The one I got was kittens. Both the happy and the postcard pic! Kisses is good, too. See ya next time, and thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: Hi Jennifer. Thanks for your notecard with the cute little extras. I agree we have a lot in common. I would so love to sit with you over a jug of gin and tonic and have a good get-to-know-you. I think you're incredibly brave to have done what you did with your hair. I'll be thinking of you.
Response: Right? I mean, about us having much in common. Boy, you could REALLY get to know me over gin and tonic haha! Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: All I can say is 'AWESOME"! I opened your card today and can't wait for my daughter to get home to see the Harry Potter cards. Where did you get these? Can't wait to swap with you again.
Response: Oh, I had been waiting and waiting for a Harry Potter fan partner. I got them on Etsy as a digital file, and I printed out a number of sets. If you keep ATCoins anywhere in a binder or whatever, these are the same size, just not the same shape, so they can fit in the same binder or other method. Or whatever you choose. How did your daughter react? PM me if you get a chance, I'd love to hear. Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: I see Jennifer s are into celebrating holidays. I get into them lol. Im actually scottish. My one sons fav color is green so always got green going. Thank you for the goodies ♥️
Response: You're welcome, I'm so glad you like them! And imagine your son does, too. I'm obsessive about the color green, so to make sure I"m Irish enough on St Pat's, I wear green, white, and orange. Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: I hope you have a wonderful spring. I'ts close.
Response: And now it has hit. This is my first year living in the country, and I've loved all the snow. I'm NOT loving all the slush. We have about a 1/4 mile driveway, and we have to park the car at the end and wear waterproof boots to walk out to the car, because the slush is over a foot deep and any attempt to get the front-wheel-drive car ends in being quite stuck! But still, it's exciting and thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: I received your card today, thank you so much. I enjoyed your note and goodies ☘️ Happy St Patrick’s Day!! ☘️ I’ll write back very soon!
Response: So glad you like it! I love love love St Pat's Day, both cuz of all the GREEN and the IRISH! Enjoy, and be sure to wear green on the 17th so nobody pinches you! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart.
Comment: Hi Jen! Thanks so much for the beautiful bookmarks made with my interests in mind. They're wonderful! Love them! Your book sounds intriguing with Oliver and Dodger 12 years later. I just got Michelle Obama's book from the library so look forward to reading that.
Response: I'm so glad you like them! I had fun picking out images that matched your likes. Oooh, I hope you have cracked Becoming, it's just such a good book! Enjoy, and thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: Amazing fun fact about Stephen King’s novels! Sometimes mistakes do pay off! Very cute Feb. Zine! Love the Spunky Old Broads Day and all of your adorable illustrations! Thanks again for hosting the swap!
Response: Oh, I just love it. We're up to 8 again for March. Woot! Glad you're part of this adventure, and glad you liked my Feb zine. Thanks so much for the rating and heart!
Comment: I laughed so hard!...best holiday ever...."spunky old broads day" with the image....hilarious!!!...the whole zine is awesome!....so colorful...and great choices...love the cover too...whether intentional or not....upside down...very clever!!....thanks for the random fact on cool card about S. King...did not know that......thanks for the zany zine!...cheers!!!
Response: Oh, that was my favorite find the spunky old broad. I mean, I intend to be JUST that one day, so... Did you happen to catch the connection between the "random" SK fact and the upside down cover? All I'm saying is, someday I COULD be a famous author, so hang on to that baby! Thanks so much for the rating and heart! I'm so glad you enjoyed!
Comment: Gorgeous zine, how do you get it to print to the edges like that?
Response: Sadly, I don't. I cut the edges off. And until I FINALLY buy a paper trimmer next week, I cut them off by hand. Which is a weird thing about me - I love to cut things out as long as I have a good scissors. I had to start doing that, because I make them digitally, and I could NOT get the printer to print them the way I wanted to and I couldn't figure out how to format them to print right, so I just said, never mind, I'll just make it all even and cut off the edges so yeah. Thanks for the rating! I hope to see you in March, too!
Comment: Thank you Jennifer. OMG! -20 degrees??? I can't even imagine. Stay warm. Happy swapping.
Response: Yeah, -20 and it actually got down to -34, not including wind chill, that week! But it's not a big problem cuz I work at home and have heat. And I learned young - layers! thanks so much for the rating and heart!
Response: You're very welcome, and see you in March! I have a question - did you like the simpler style I did for Feb better than the kind of cluttery January one? You can respond here or in PM - or not at all if you want haha! Thanks so much for the rating and heart!
Comment: I love your card! Its soooo green! My son loves green as well but I still think you may have him beat. He would prefer to live surrounded by green. Thank you for the Zine as well. I will keep it with my little growing collection of Zines. My odd trait is cat eyes (eyes that have more than one color) closest name for it is Heterochromia but the actor Benedict Cumberbach has this trait too. My eyes can look different colors depending on what I am wearing or the type of light I am in. Btw..one of those colors is green.
Response: OMG melt melt Benedict's eyes, melt, swoon! Ahem. Dignity you grown-ass nearly 50-year old fan girl! That is an awesome trait, and one I share, I used to have these two shirts, both turquoise, but one bluer and one greener. I'd stand in front of the mirror holding one up to my body then the other, and watch my eyes change from blue to green. I was much younger, and they have settled into mostly blue, but certain things I wear, not necessarily green things, bring out the green in them. I've never heard them called cat eyes, but awesome! Haha, yes, my daughter told me in our last townhouse, "I can't wait to move out. I'm sick of living in a lime!" Thanks so much for the rating and the heart! I bet people just SWOOON over your eyes!
PS - I put a pretty on your profile
Comment: Thank you so much for your wonderful letter! I'm glad you were able to move in to that awesome place with your mom. I sounds so peaceful there. Thank you also for the extras! Have a great day!
Response: You've very welcome! Sounds like I made you smile, so that was my goal. Thanks so much for the rating and heart!
Comment: I quite enjoyed your comments Jennifer. I think that you have made a wise decision in sticking to what you enjoy and not worrying so much about keeping up with the English majors. Life is too short to waste on books that just don't cut it. I do like Anne Rice, Stephen King, and Charles Dickens. However, I disagree about Moby-Dick. I really did like that one. :)
Response: Hmm, why do I feel I already responded to this? Did we send messages? Anyway, thank you very much for your rating, and the heart. I've been thinking I might tackle Moby Dick because I keep hearing good stuff about it. So many books, such a short life... *sigh*
Comment: Interesting reading, thanks a lot! I see that you found a book with characters drinking champagne - I couldn't think of anything, just guessing that it might happen in some Agatha Christie detective stories... of course, I couldn't remember it exactly, so it wasn't a very useful idea. And maybe not even correct, haha! So after all I went with a different line in the bingo.
Response: Shhhhh, nobody will EVER know. Honestly, I have downloaded that book, but not read it yet, but it was on my partner's list and she had recommended that book, so I figured she must know! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: What a generous gift to your daughter! I'd love to have one for display or even to use, but not at that price! Lol! Happy swapping!
Response: Yeah, he was feeling SUPER guilty. Plus, he has tons of money. It was nice. She actually uses the typewriter, so that is really cool. She prefers it. My kid is equally up-to-date on all the latest weird slang and trends, and an old soul. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for your interesting answers - my E PC was Elvis.
Response: Oh, that's a good one! I just adore this swap and hope it never ever ends. I think if happymom ever had to give it up for some reason, I'd keep it going. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Response: You're very welcome, It has the honor of being my last ATC for awhile, as I have burned myself out, but I wanted to make sure I didn't let that affect the amount of love and effort I put into it negatively. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed them! I could have gone on forever. I look up random facts on a regular basis when I'm bored, because you learn the most awesome things! I'll tell you the funniest fact I got from my partner when I write soon. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thanks a lot for the detailed reviews! I also have several books which I love and I know I'll enjoy rereading them every time :-) Last year there was even a book which managed to reread two times during the year (a rather short biography). :-P
Response: Yes, re-reading a well loved book is something I like to do. Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: I'm sorry you had such an awful experience with that book.Being bound to read something that's just so unbearable takes all the joy of living out of you. I'm glad you had a confort reading right after that, to level things up. I hope you'll have nothing as bad as that first book during the rest of the year :)
Response: Yes, I have made the decision - no more making myself read stuff I don't like even if it IS so-called "the great American novel." Which I really don't know why this one was. Gatsby was much more fun! Thanks for the rating and the heart, see ya next time.
Comment: Thank you very much for your so super detailed reviews! :) The first book doesn't sound so great :D I rather don't enjoy that kind of books, I don't mind if there's not a really interestisting plot or much stuff that is a bit unnecessary for it, but that random doesn't really sound fun anymore. I'm glad you read two other good books though at least :) (And swapping reading for Dr Who also isn't that bad of an idea - the series is great! :D) I can't imagine liking Lestat yet - but I wouldn't be surprised if that changed after the next book, there are so many books where I start liking characters I hated before. Also, when so many people seem to find the first book worse than the others, there might be something to it :D Best wishes!
Response: Yeah, it was--from now on, no forcing myself to read books I don't like. I've decided not to try and read "If on a Winter's Night a Traveler" again anytime soon, either. I'm greatly enjoying Doctor Who, though. I skipped Dr 12 so these are all new to me, fun. Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: Hi Jen! WHAT a fun letter! I LOVE your idea of the secret messages! Sadly, some of the washi did not come out without a fight. So, I put them in front of the mirror ... more secretiveness! I intend to reply, but it will probably be Feb end, or March starting. Thanks for participating, thanks for the ribbons & ATC sleeves, & I loved the letter :)
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! And I actually love that it ended up with an extra layer, and that you were clever enough to check in a mirror. I look forward to your reply whenever you can, and in the meantime, thanks for the rating and heart. And thanks for this fun swap!
Comment: Sorry to hear your January wasn't as book filled as you wished. I've 'had to' read a book I didn't like before a few times, and I understand the feeling. :( Here's to a better February, though! :)
Response: Yeah, I'm off to a good start for February. Enjoying what I'm reading helps a lot! Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: Thanks for your postcard in this fun swap. I sent a door pc to my partner too (from the same set!).
Response: Oh, that's so funny! I love that set. It would've been funny if it had been the same one haha! I actually was digging and digging, and then I was like, oh, yeah, I have those door ones. DUR! Glad you like it! This is such a fun swap. Thanks for the rating and heart, as well!
Comment: This is a great zine! Most of the holidays you illustrated are different than mine. It is so much fun receiving from several swappers as they are all so different. So happy to see more interest in February, I have mine made. Thanks for the rating, swap and the heart.
Response: Yeah, I like getting all the different ones. I'm so excited there's 8 for Feb! Glad you liked mine, too, and see ya in a week or so with new fun holidays! Thanks so much for the rating and heart!
Comment: Adorable Zine!!! First, I loved your SwapBot Card! And your Zine was colorful, and interesting! Your brother and nephew should be honored to be in your publication! Thank you for hosting and sending me this cute keepsake! I've joined your Feb. swap and have already begun work on it!
PS I loved how you turned your postage stamp into a sentiment! Very clever!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I should send one to those guys... They would totally agree they are peculiar. I can't wait to see what you come up with in February! And yeah, I don't like that stamp, but had to get some and the PO only had those, so I'm going to use them all for this swap haha! Thanks for noticing, for the rating and heart, and see you next month!
Comment: Your zine is so cool! I never thought to make it online :) My printer would have given up on the color, I just made mine black and white illustrations XD
Response: One thing I love about zines is that they can be made so many different ways. I used to do a lot of digital scrapping, so I have brought that over to making zines. But I have b&w ones that I have loved receiving. It's such a fun little way to express yourself. Thank you for the kind words - I actually don't print them. I have them done at a local print shop on a color laser printer. Cheaper than the ink it would take to print otherwise! Thanks so much for the rating and heart, and I cannot WAIT to see your b&w one, as well!
Comment: C is for Coffee! My favorite drink! Thank you so much for the nice card and the great C words! :-) All the best!
Response: Oh, I'm so glad! I didn't notice coffee on your profile, but this card was near the top of the pile, and seemed nice and obvious. I do think it's a very good looking pic, so I'm glad you like it! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart! Hope to "see" you around this swaps &/or others.
Comment: Thank you so much for your letter, I loved it! And I will reply as soon as possible :-)
Response: Excellent! I can't believe how quickly that got to you! I just received mail sent on Dec 27 from my own country the other day - weird. But I'm happy you liked my letter, and I look forward to hearing about your life and adventures! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Wow, Jen! What a thoughtful gift I received in the mail today! Thank you for the long letter that really helped me get to know you. And thanks for all the extras that were a perfect fit for me! I can't wait to use my paperclips at work tomorrow. :)
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything! (I'll just assume you did haha) I haven't been sending a lot of extras, but like I said, I saw you liked postalettes, and suddenly I was grabbing up sorts of things to stuff in there! Thanks for the rating and the heart, and hope to "see you around" some more!
Comment: Such a cute little card. I love it thank you!!!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I had fun making it. One hard thing about this color swap is that most of my stuff is green! So finding enough of other colors is a (super fun) challenge. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: I'm sorry you didn't make it to Mt. Rushmore on your family trip! I didn't know there even was a Crazy Horse Monument! I hope you make it this year! Happy New Year!
Response: The [Crazy Horse](https://crazyhorsememorial.org/) one wasn't there when I was a kid, so maybe it's better I visit now. Thanks for the good wishes and the rating. I wish you a fabulous 2019, as well!
Comment: oooo I see Dexter!! It was a couple of years after I finished the series when I realized there were books too!
Response: Yeah, and the Dexter show and books are so different after awhile. I like them both, but I think I like the book's ending better. For a reason I can tell you not here cuz it's a spoiler. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the great list! I noticed several similarities and many of the books. :)
Response: Yeah, and I definitely got some good suggestions from your list. Turns out I did read the first one in the series you mentioned by Dugoni, so I'll have to continue with that. This was an awesomely fun swap! Thanks so much for doing it, and thank you for the rating and heart.
Comment: I loved your letter, thank you. I am so glad that you had a wonderful Christmas. I was completely smitten by your Tardis return label. Did you make that?
Response: Yeah. I couldn't find anything premade, and even the make-it-yourself ones didn't work out the format I wanted - either too little or too much space. So I just printed these on regular paper and glue them on. I hope you also had a great Christmas, and that 2019 is the best year yet! Thanks so much for the rating.
Comment: Ok....a planet with giant, intelligent spiders sounds a "little bit" like a nightmare to me if I had to go there... :D Nevertheless, as book it sounds cool, especially because I like spiders from a biological perspective :D Also the book sounds quite detailed and like the science part is explained in it, and I absolutely adore stories that focus on non-human hypothetical cultures/values/societies, it's such an interesting thought experiment. So the book sounds like I should have already ordered and read it, I hope to read it soon :) Thank you very much for bringing this book to my attention! I'll answer more to your letter in the letter I'm writing now for the sticker story swap :)
Response: Yeah, I had to specifically not picture them as spiders like we have. And it was supremely fascinating from a biological and speculative point of view. I think it takes so much imagination to make up sentient beings that are so totally different from anything we experience. Thanks so much for the heart and rating!
Comment: Thank you very much for the review of this intriguing sounding book! I find that topic really interesting and together with it being a detective story it sounds like something I must read :) Also I planned to read more "history novels" in 2019, so it fits really well into that, too. I hope you had wonderful holidays and I wish you all the best for 2019! :)
Response: Thanks, and all the best to you, as well. I look forward to swapping with you all year long. Thanks so much for the heart and the rating. I'd be interested to hear what you thought of it as a non-American.
Comment: I recently got a bag of mail from my mother and this card was in there.
Thank you for taking the time to send it.
I would have never had thought of someone like larping. I think I just said Leap
Response: Thanks for rating and for the heart! Wow, that was awhile ago. I had things collect on me when i was moving, too, that my mom eventually gave me, so I know how it can happen. Have a fabulous 2019!
Comment: I can't belive you say you do not draw, because I found it perfect! Thank you ♪♫*¨*•.¸¸ 🎇 And happy new Year!
Response: Hehe, oh, I have a little secret about that. I'll tell you in PM if you like. But thank you for the kind words. Thank you for the rating and the heart, and I wish you a safe and happy New Year, and a most fabulous 2019!
Comment: HI Jen, I loved the Bangels too, so fun!! I had to go checkout the video on youtube. I love the selections so far. I'm looking forward to decorating yours and sending it back to you. Happy New Year.
Response: Thanks for the rating and heart! Can't wait to see what you guys have done with my little book!
Comment: This card is absolutely beautiful!!! I can tell a lot went into creating this ATC and I consider myself blessed to have it in my collection. Thank you!!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I can't remember if I put in the note, I thought about rebelling and doing a summer one, but I'm just all excited about winter. Especially now we are in the middle of a beautiful white blizzard! Anyway, thanks so much for the kind comments, the rating, and the heart. May your 2019 be the best year yet!
Comment: I love the ATC, and I I just love Santa and this one will go well with my other Santa ATC's. Thanks for a wonderful swap.
Response: I'm so glad! I didn't even know you love Santa, so you know, that's just me being accidentally psychic! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart! I look forward to swapping more with you in the future. Happy New Year!
Comment: L O V E ..... Shiny Presents!! I love the way you layered everything and the very cheery colors. I also like the depth perception. I love receiving swaps from you. Thank you for the JOY too. Happy Christmas to you to. Sending lots of love and laughter for your coming year ❤️
Response: Aww, thanks so much for the kind words! Yeah, I love that card, as I mentioned in the note why. I'm so happy you like it, too! Thanks so much for the rating, heart, and warm wishes, and I wish you all the same!
Comment: Wow, Jennifer your Christmas ATC came out awesome, I truly love it. Perfect timing on the stamped images for me to color in because I just got new Prismacolor pencils. Sending you a message on your profile right now. Enjoy your Christmas and New Year's, AnnaL.
Response: I hope you had a great Christmas, too, and that 2019 is the BEST so far! I'm excited to receive your letter, and so glad you're able to use the digital stamps. Exciting, the pencils! Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Jennifer, what a wonderful zine you sent to me! The quality is just outstanding and I loved how you used a 2-page spread to share about yourself! Beautiful print job too; mine never seem to come out as clear and sharp as yours is! Thanks for a great swap and happy holidays to you!!!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! My printing secret is, I use a color laser printer. It prints on top of the paper within being absorbed, therefore the shinier, sharper color. Thanks so much for the rating and heart, and have a fabulous holiday season and winter!
Comment: Thsnk you very much! I love the cards and answers!
Response: Glad you like them! I made them up so long ago, not knowing they would be combined, so it's like bonus for you! I hope she starts this swap again, I loved it so much! Have an awesome holiday season and thanks so much for the rating and heart!
Comment: Merry Christmas Jennifer! Thank you for all the extras...especially the project life cards! I love them!
Response: I'm so glad you liked them! Yeah, when I read your profile, I saw you liked project life, and I had a few cards, so I'm happy you can use them! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and thank you for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Holiday Greetings Patty,
Thank you for your lovely Christmas Cardinal card & envie stuffed full of extras. I love it! I look forward to swapping with you again in the New Year!
Response: Thanks so much. Though I am more Jennifer than Patty! But St. Patty's Day is my favorite holiday! haha! I'm so glad you like the card and goodies - they were all from your profile. Have a fantastic Christmas and New Year, and thank you for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Love the motif on this PC would love to have this in a fabric or a rug. Like you word leaf embellishment. You did make it Fallish Fun! Thanks!
Response: Aw, thanks! The style is called retiform. If you look it up in Pinterest, there's quite a bit. Very fun. Doesn't work as well on an ATC, so I was happy to have postcards to do it on. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: No fall leaves and no snow in Phoenix, which is why I love the fall fun swaps. Your postcard is beautiful.
Response: Well, with the crazy weather stuff that's happening, you might end up with more snow than we do in Minnesota this year. Haha! I love fall swaps, too, because it all goes away soooo fast! Thanks very much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: I enjoyed reading your answers. i'm so sorry about your son. life definitely has its ups and downs. enjoy the ups while you can.
Response: Thanks, that's exactly what I do. People call me "the most positive happy person" they've ever met. It's half just the way I am, and half intentional obliviousness! Thanks much for the rating and heart!
Comment: Thanks for the Very nice card and list.
I enjoy the Anne Rice books. Have you read any of the Mayfair Witches books?
Response: Oh, absolutely. When going through the vampire chronicles, I stopped before Merrick to get caught up on the witches, then went forward with the combined stuff. I love when fictional worlds collide like that! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely creative zine. I love all the beautiful colors! I love the pumpkin patch too. I have not been on a hayride. It sounds like fun though. Thank you for the kind words about my Kiki. Your kitty sounds very sweet. She's lucky to have you to take care of her 💜
Response: Yeah, she's awesome. Did I mention her name is Zelda? It fits her well. You MUST get thee to a hayride one of these days! So fun! IF you're not allergic. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for a beautiful ATC. I love it.
Response: I'm very glad you liked it! I've been waiting to use those images which are made specifically for mod podge, so was excited for the perfect opportunity. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you. Very cool. 🤗
I haven't seen or heard of those gel pens. They certainly dry bright. Hopefully I can find some when we visit Hawaii in the new year. Thank you also for the rainbow washi. 💝
Response: Thanks for the compliment! I had fun with that one. I hope you will be able to find the pens, they are so cool. I loved being able to do a whole theme! Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: Thanks for the cute turkey and for hosting this fun swap.
Response: I'm glad you liked it! I put the photo of that turkey I sent you up on my screen during Thanksgiving at my house, so all the people named on it could see themselves and the other things I'm thankful for. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, and thanks so much for the rating and heart!
Comment: Thanks for the read! I spend about the same on postage a month as well :) I really enjoy glassblowing. Your family is quite crafty! I'll send you a copy of mine like you requested! Happy Swapping!
Response: Thanks for the rating and heart, and for sending me your copy of answers. I loved reading it! I feel like electronic swaps, everyone should just send to everyone, as it doesn't mean any extra work or cost any money.
Comment: I was thrilled to see your lovely letter in my mailbox! Thanks so much for the letter about reading and the other part too :) I'll be answering you as soon as I can.
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it all! You didn't answer, tho - have you read it yet? Oh, you'll answer in the letter. Anyway, I enjoy writing back and forth with you a ton and look forward to receiving your next letter. Cheers and thanks so much for the heart and rating!
Comment: My apologies for not rating this right away. I thought I had changed that bad habit, but I apparently have had a temporary (I hope) relapse.
I really adore your tangle page! It's so beautifully done and I love the green highlights and shadings.
Response: No worries. I'm glad you like it, and thanks for the rating and the heart.
Comment: Thank you very much for your detailed review! :) Once I had read the words "trilogy", "vampires" and "zombies", I knew that I'd have to check out that book :D Turns out, it was already on my goodreads to read list. But now I know – thanks to your review – that this actually could even be a book/series I'd find worth buying if I don't find it in my library :) "completely coherent", "no plot holes", "no hanging strings", not too many deaths and the length of the book sound great and like I could really love the series :) If that is fulfilled and characters are developed well, I don't care if it's scientifically correct or not :) Plus I had no idea vampire like creatures were in that book, I find quite any book with vampires at least 'readable', even with the worst story/writing :D Best wishes!
Response: I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to this. Yes, all the above are fulfilled and then some, and it's a very satisfying series! Let me know how you like it once you've read it! Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank yoyu Jennifer for your review! I didn't know of these books, and although it's probably not the kind of book I would choose for myself, I enjoyed reading your answers. I liked when you said that you kept coming back to the series because it was comfortable. I absolutely relate with the feeling :) I'm glad you enjoyed your reading!
Response: I'm glad to point out a book you didn't know, even if it's not your style. Maybe one day you will run into someone who says, man, I love The Stand and The Walking Dead. What book should I read? Now you have an answer! haha! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much. I really enjoyed your letter and I love the letter set you included ☺️❤️
Response: Oh, I'm glad. I have been loving writing these letters! Though you may notice much more detail on the earlier categories than the later. I might take a couple days to write the next one and give them all equal billing! Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the letter and the letter set, and thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thanks so much!! They are amazing! I really enjoyed reading your note you included with the swap! I love the National Anthem scene in Casablanca too along with many other scenes. :) Have a great day and thanks again for my beautiful bird coins!
Comment: Isn't it amazing how we can be stuck when it comes to a particular theme, and suddenly we see something that inspires us? I LOVE your bird queen...I think the crown fits beautifully! It's always wonderful to see an envelope with your name on the return address!
Response: Oh, you just made me smile so big! Just wait until you get my next one - whenever that is. I'm going to start doing a little more envelope art to make it even more fun for my partners to see an envelope from me. But yes, that is an interesting process, and I love it. I'm SO glad you like the card, because I really do, too. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Oh how I love Asian themes! And geishas! I think it WAS a glamorous life, except for the incredible discipline they had to follow to stay young, tiny, and beautiful for as long as possible. In other words, I adore the coin and the tag...you have a fan in me!
Response: Wow, that worked out perfectly. I wasn't even aware, to be honest, which is bad bad me, because I should read your profile every time, but I've sent you stuff, and didn't think of it. You remind me, actually, to do this each time. But anyway, I'm SO GLAD you like it!! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Yes, you are right! Thank you for the beautiful hand drawn words, words, words!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it. Though stenciled is more accurate haha! Lettering is one of those things I'm just BAD at but that's why stencils exist, right? Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: That's different - an angry, vampire sun. That's kind of oxymoronic seeing as vampires and sunlight are incompatible? Very cute. It would help if you would write which swap the card is from on the card itself, so I don't have to guess (although this was one of the easier ones to guess - it was either USA or INTL).
Response: Yeah that’s my sense of humor. Like I had an all black cat named Snowball and a bearded dragon named Fluffy. I looked up the pic I took before I sent it and I did put the name of the swap on it but the post office puts so much stuff on postcards maybe they covered it up? I wrote it alongside the line separating the two sides. I thought it would be safe there! Anyway thanks so much for the rating and the ❤️!
Comment: What really nice ATC collection. Check into ACORN. British tv shows. $4.99 a month. I love it
Response: Oh, yes, I keep meaning to sign up for that. But now I probably can't because I have moved to the boonies where internet speed is 1.5 MBPS. Yes. One. Point. Five. On the plus side, the next neighbor down has no internet unless they get satelite. I'm glad you liked the cards, I had fun putting them together! Thanks much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the categories letter. I am actually still reading it because I've been really busy. So silly of me but I like to savor my letters. Thank you!
Response: I actually totally appreciate that. I mean, I put a lot of effort into writing that stuff, so I am happy that you take the time to read it! It makes for a nice connection, and if you're looking for a penpal, feel free to write back. If not, that's cool, too, I'll see you around other saps hopefully! Thanks so much for the rating and heart!
Comment: Thank you for this really beautiful scarecrow. =)
Thank you for you're kind words and profile surprises I really love them.
Thank you for making my day. =)
Response: I was hoping you would like that! My stash is getting very low, but I was happily able to find things that I believed you would like, in addition to the cute scarecrow card. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the cute ATC and bad jokes! :-)
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the doodle and the jokes! I love finding what my daughter calls "dad jokes" and sending them on postcards and with swaps, so when I saw your profile, i knew what I had to do. Thanks so much for the rating and the star!
Comment: Very cool ATC! Thank you for the extras too - especially the dainty doily :)
Response: Oh, I'm so glad you like the paper doily. I got a pack of I think 75 or 100 of them, and could never use them all, so I'm hoping others can also put them to good use! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :) I agree - obviously - about Shirley Jackson. The Haunting of Hill House is one of my all time favorite books. That none of her books are listed is a shock to me. As I think I've said, I feel more like this list is the bestseller list - with 50 Shades of Grey and James Patterson, Twilight on the list - rather than most read. But it is usually interesting to me to see these types of lists.
Thanks, again, for sharing. :)
Response: As always...long letter on the way to you!
Comment: ATC arrived. Thanks for telling me you were sending it late (11 days) due to being sent back for more postage. But it still arrived with postage due.
Response: Seriously!!!!???? They put ON THE ENVELOPE how much postage it needed, and I put that on it. Rude!!! I'm so sorry about that, and hope at least that you liked the card. Thank you for the rating.
Comment: Thanks for the flipbook. I loved the monsterjokes, such a fun idea!
Response: Thanks! It was my second flipbook, but still had not seen one in person, and actually I think I could have done much better. But that's the learning curve, eh? Anyway, glad you liked the jokes, and thank you for the rating!
Comment: Thank you! They are cute! I need to find one of those little twinchie holder things. I hold on to things, too. LOL! Thanks again!
Response: [You can find them here](https://www.amazon.com/American-Crafts-Keepers-Instagram-Sleeves/dp/B011I9QDMA/ref=pd_sim_201_4?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B011I9QDMA&pd_rd_r=013dc78c-ccdb-11e8-a1fa-3b320cf86cd1&pd_rd_w=WmbZm&pd_rd_wg=ZRYeK&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=18bb0b78-4200-49b9-ac91-f141d61a1780&pf_rd_r=SQARSQGV9MHK4TWVR696&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=SQARSQGV9MHK4TWVR696)
I hope that worked as a link, but either way, that's where you can get the inserts. Then Amazon should also show you the little albums that go with it. ALSO I'm so glad you liked the twinchies!!! It was very last second when I finally got inspired, and then I was very happy with them, so glad you are, too. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart.
Comment: WOW - please teach me your background technique! These are wonderful starters - Thank you very much :). ps why is your hedgehog sad??
Response: So I used acrylic paint. 3 colors on each, dotted on in a number of spots, and then just used a stiff brush to mix it all up. Had to be more careful with the one with orange, because mixing made mud. Sad hedgehog cuz drawn so very very poorly! I'm not a natural artist at all haha! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: OMGoodness your ATC is adorable!! Thank you!!
Response: Thank you! I was really happy how it turned out also, and glad the scent was not a problem. Um, or if so, don't scratch and smell the strawberries haha! Thanks so much for the five and the heart!
Comment: Wow! Nicely done!!! I love it!! Thanks Jennifer!!!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I put a lot of effort into it. My hole punches have that bendy thing about them, so I actually cut out each individual grape by hand - 10, 8, and 6 mm. It's kind of like meditation for me to cut stuff out, so it was great fun. Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Both of your envelopes arrived in my mailbox today, and although you SO did not have to send the second one, I do love the gorgeous bright colors of the napkins. Your tag and coin are adorable...I've never seen this napkin before, and I'm thrilled to have some of my own to play with!
Response: Well, I did think, it would be a waste to use a stamp on one napkin, which is why I put in extras and some other stuff, I think, too. I'd rather do MORE than required than less than required any day. Glad you enjoy, and thanks for the rating and the heart! Those are cool napkins, right? I got them at Hobby Lobby on clearance. I think they were in a Mexican aisle.
Comment: Thank you for the nice, long letter. I can see we have quite a lot in common. You indicated that you thought I was quite young. I love it! Thank you for that, but I am a couple years older than you. Lol :P
Watch out for a reply soon.
Response: Thanks so much for the rating and heart. I look forward to hearing from you and becoming pen pals!
Comment: Wow, interesting ATC! I never would have thought of that for September. Thank you!
Response: Can I tell you a secret? Don't tell anybody, shhh. I literally didn't have enough autumn looking stuff and NO school stuff, so I decided to go to Paris for September! haha! But I'm glad you like it, and if I had the chance to go there in September, I sure would. Or you know, any month at all. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: You have made a wonderful card with thesse three shapes. I will leave it all black as I prefere zentangle in black. Thanks for all the extras. I too love to experiment wit my stencils and I have quite a few.
Thanks so much for this card to add to my collection.
Response: I'm glad you like it. I'm never sure whether to go to the edges or not. I like it, but then I get one that doesn't, and I like that, too! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart.
Response: Thanks. And totally legit if you are my daughter. It seems she has that excuse pretty frequently...suspicious. haha! But people don't ask her about it! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the fun Green Apc. You even sent it in a green card! I don't like making cute, I don't mind receiving it.
Response: I'm so happy to know that, because I saw those frogs, and the card was made in that instant. Also with acrylic paint. I'm so glad you liked it, and thanks for the rating and the heart. That was my first APC, you know. Not first ATC, but first on a playing card. I'm addicted. I gotta have a deck!
Comment: Thank you for hanging in there. I love that you would bring it to me on a plane! Helping is the best verb. Houses for everybody... my answer was homes for everyone:) Hugs to you. Happy Swaps.
Response: Thanks for your patience. My goodness. Six days is a long time. Though if I came on the plane, I might wait until February... haha! Thanks so much for the rating and for sticking in there with me. You're the best!
Comment: I am awestruck at the beauty of this ATC!!! If you just started watercolor —- well I am VERY impressed!! Gorgeous work!!!
Response: Oh, wow! Thanks so much!! I told my mom and daughter (with whom I live) that they were not nearly excited enough about my kiwi, and so your comment is SOOOOO appreciated!!!! Thanks SO MUCH for the kind words, and the rating and heart!!!
Comment: Hi there! I really like the sushi ATC coin you made for me. It came out really good. Hope to have you as my partner in more swaps soon. Take care!
Response: Thank you for the rating and heart! I was excited how that came out myself. The little Chinese word I wrote, according to Google Translate, does mean good fortune, btw. It's something I wouldn't have thought of but for a stamped image swap, so I love how SwapBot can give me options outside what I would normally pick.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely ATC & doggie extras! Hope your kidlette is over the tooth thing!
Response: Oh, goodness, I'm glad you like it, and again, so sorry to dash it off like that. It's like a compulsion. It's not like I was missing the due date, but I just had to post it NOW once I was done. Turned out she only had an ear infection. Well, "only" sort of downplays how awful, but compared to having to have her tooth/teeth yanked out, the solution was much easier. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Oh, also, I just showed my granddaughter a photo of that card I made you today, and she demanded I make her one just like it. Haha!
Comment: These are great -- I love the animal box series! Thank you!
Response: I'm glad. I'm trying to get a better collection of cards together, but it takes awhile as I'm not a big traveler or anything. So in the meantime, I'm happy when people actually like receiving them. Or the space box. Got that, too, haah! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the smile you brought to my face with this swap. Your dad sounds like a real cheeseball and I personally would have LOVED that growing up(my dad is pretty corny too) I especially enjoyed the Light beer joke *hahaha I’m still laughing at that corny joke!!! I hope it’s ok if I write you back, hopefully we can be penpals!
Response: Oh, I would LOVE to be penpals! I thought that when I was reading your profile. I'm glad you liked my dad's silliest joke. Did I mention that I told it at his eulogy? I look forward to hearing from you, and in the meantime, thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: I'm lucky to get your cool "Lucky Coin". Thank you for the Washi and for the yellow envelope too!
Response: Oh, I've been looking forward to sending you a yellow envelope ever since I noticed that AFTER I sent out your envelope last time. You'll never get any other color envelope from me, so if you get sick of them, be sure to let me know haha! I'm glad you like the lucky coin. My Irish just comes out once in awhile! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: The postcard you sent is super pretty, thank you 😊 I hope your move goes smoothly 💙 My room is really small haha. I actually haven't seen Hamilton! Even Boston residency tickets are ridic priced!! I've just listened to the original cast recording.
Response: Glad you liked it. Moving was AWFUL but it's over now so, like childbirth, it seems much better now. I'm finding that I will be much more organized with a small room! Bonus! It's an excellent recording (Hamilton). Anyway, thanks so much for the rating and have a lovely weekend! (and you know, all the other days, too)
Comment: Thanks so much for the ATC and the extra kit. I love it! I also am a fan of Your ATC store. Funny thing - you and I made the same atc for our partners. I like how you did yours. Take care.
Response: OMG that is HILARIOUS! So do you find yourself plugging the shop every chance? I just love it. Also I'd love to see a photo of your version, if you want to send, my email is my username and it's on gmail. Thank you for the heart and the rating!
Comment: Thanks for the bright ATCoins, extra pieces, and nice note (I love the dog on the card). The colors of fall leaves make me happy.
Response: Oh, glad you like the dog! And the colors. That is the FASTEST I've ever seen something get somewhere. Must be cuz we're basically in the same neighborhood. Though if we lived in Europe, we'd be in different countries. Anyway, thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: I could not find the name of the swap so I hope I am rating the right person for the right swap. The postcard is Moulin Rouge and you said you love AHS and Walking Dead.
Response: Yeah, that's me. Hmm...I generally write the swap name on the top of the card. I do worry that all those postal marks will cover it, but also recently moved and I haven't taken pictures of all the postcards I sent, so things were a bit hectic for a few days there. Normally I take a photo of EVERYTHING I send, but I haven't taken photos of 2 PC swaps that happened right on the few days of my move. However, I do remember saying those things, so it must have been me. Sorry I am a stickler about that, cuz I HATE getting a swap that I have to try and figure out. Thanks for the rating!
Comment: Hi! Got your journal today. It's a pretty awesome journal!
Response: Thanks. I can't remember if I wrote about why peacocks, but they are a very special reminder of my dad who died 3 years ago. I got one that's over a year old, so I love the thought of mine traveling around that long! Tahnks for the rating and heart.
Comment: Love the postcard--love birds! And thanks for the note of encouragement, much appreciated! Happy mails!
Response: You're so welcome! I hope you are having a nice day today, and ... well, okay. I ALWAYS hope you have either A) nice days or B) enough love & support on the ones that are not quite as good. Take care, and thank you for the rating and the heart.
Comment: I loved your card and note, so glad you were my partner. My library has neither of the books you recommended so I put them on the list I hope the library will purchase, They sound interesting.
Response: Thanks for the rating and heart. And understanding. I promise I will send you something very prickly and irreverent next time! Let me know if you read those, if you like the books by Amitav Ghosh (they gotta get all 3...it's a trilogy!). Cheers!
Comment: Me again... Love this card too and the humor. Very good 😄. I joined all of the colors too and it was huge fun. Happy crafting and thank you again. 💝
Response: Hi, you again! Thanks again for the ratings and hearts, and I'm glad you saw the humor, too. I get pretty excited when I get the chance to be funny! It was great fun doing the colors, and I hope more are coming. Cheers!
Comment: Thank you Jennifer for your lovely long letter. Liked the stickers on your letter that actually smelt like the fruit. Amazing!!! Yes I plan to write back to you this weekend. Happy swapping
Response: Oh, wow, that got there nice and quickly! I look forward to hearing back from you. Yeah, weren't those stickers fun? As I'm writing this I can't remember your age, but if you are anywhere near my age (47) you might remember those nostalgically. Anyway, thanks so much for the rating and the heart, and I can't wait to hear from ya! Well, I can wait, but I look forward to it.
Comment: Thanks for the goodies! :) those stickers are epic, love! thanks!!!
Response: I knew you’d love them. If we’re ever in a swap where you send me handmade art, I’d love to see something you made with them. Oh, no, I don’t mean I sent them conditionally like that! Just enjoy, and thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Hi Jennifer. Thank you for the wonderful circus ATC. I happen to love circuses and my husband worked for one while in college (true story!). I am VERY impressed that you were able to cut out the elephant and trainer with an exact blade! I wouldn't even try to do that. I have a bit of neuropathy in my hands and I know I would cut my finger off...LOL. 🤪 I just love your work and am always glad to receive something from you! 🤗
Response: Oh, thank you so much. And for indulging my need for acknowledgement of the cutting thing! I'm so glad you love the circus and that I asked so I was able to give you what you really liked. I feel excellent warm fuzzies! Thanks for the rating and the heart.
Comment: I am very active in geocaching, infact going to an event a little later today. I enjoyed Debbie Macomber's books but my favorite is her Deliverance Company followed by the Cedar cove series. Glad I could make you laugh with the cougar comment, I also live near WSU and their mascot is "cougar," but it's just a funny statement. I'll look you up on Geocaching.com. I also logged the trifecta in Geocaching, Headquarters, The Original Cache and The Ape Cache! I also went to the very first USA Giga Event!
Response: Awesome. So I am not THAT into Geocaching. I would be if money, time, and health allowed. It's an excellent thing to do! Thanks so much for the rating and heart!!!
Comment: I love the detective cat! And I have been enjoying the pictures of your work which show up when I sign in to Swap-Bot. Thanks, and happy swapping!
Response: I was hoping you'd like that. I had such fun with it when I realized who I was sending to! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart. Yeah, I get a little rush each time something of mine is up on that intro page. Have a lovely day!
Comment: Thank you so much for your wonderful green mail! I especially liked the bird ATC you made. Loved your letter, too. I added Sherlock and Being Human to my (LONG!) list. It was great swapping with you, looking forward to our next swap!! Warm wishes!
Response: Glad you liked it - yeah, the bird was a fave of mine, for sure. Once you get around to them, the shows, let me know what you think. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Wow! Thanks for all the cute stamps and the pretty leaves. You are an expert meditative fussy cutter! I LOVE the big-eyed skinny cat stamp. Many thanks:)
Response: Sorry, I missed responding to this. Yeah, I had a great time cutting, and also love sharing the few good stamps I have. It's a way to share out my good stamps with others, and get some of their good stamps. Because we can't afford them all! I'm glad you liked them.
Comment: I’ve heard of this wacky practice: meditation through fussy cutting. And frankly I don’t get it, as all I can think of is ‘ow! wait, why is that corner so sharp? Oh, crap, oops!’ the entire time! LOL I totally envy you. And I totally heart you for my wonderful perfectly cut stamped images that I’ll be using very soon. Thank you so much! :)
Response: You're entirely welcome! Yeah, I got extra tiny scissors and even used a craft blade (x-acto type knife) to get them perfect as possible. I loved it. I loved sharing my good stuff with you, and then I got some good stamps from others. Best alternative to just owning ALL THE STAMPS (which I'm not opposed to, but my need for food and shelter are). Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Wow, what a great zentangled sun! I love it, thank you - great cover up on the pink, too, lol :)
Response: Yeah, I try so hard to get things done early, but then sometimes it backfires. I was actually about to just toss it and start over, when I thought - hmm, pink plus yellow = orange. That's sunny! Glad you got it and glad you liked it. Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the fun swap. I especially enjoyed your note, but am sorry you are dealing with back pain too. Oh, isn't it fun crafting with the grandkids...even worth the pain it may cause!!! I can't get on the floor any more, but we've done slime and paint pouring at the kitchen table this year. Messy, but so much fun.
Response: Grandkids - the best! I think art is always messy. I see somebody's art room or space and it's immaculate, and I think - how? Either they're not arting enough or they are a different species than me. Haha! Anyway, glad you liked it, and thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Hi Jennifer. Thank you for the cool ATC card. I like the fact that it is mixed media. I would never have thought to use ribbon for the pineapples. How clever is that? I have all of the Tim Holtz Crazies but I will use the dog on my next TH ATC that I am about to start. It's all cut out for me already! 😉
Response: Oh, gosh I'm so happy! I thought and re-thought the ribbon part over and over and wasn't sure it was a good idea in the end. So to have you specifically mention them, I feel so glad. Yeah, it's always nice to have a pre-cut. I'm considering getting the dies to go with the crazies, but I have found a certain zen in cutting out shapes, so I'll save the money! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you! So many goodies! My sons are Nicholas Todd and Dylan Thomas. So yes, same initial but only middle name. Yes, the blue frogs are dart frogs. All my frogs even the yellow, black and red are dart frogs. I still love Pooh and hope I never stop! I even have my original childhood Pooh in my hope chest!
Response: Your children thank you! But sometimes it becomes a thing. My daughter-in-law's family has all J names, so my granddaughter was named Jraya. It just sounds like Drea, but it's spelled Jraya. I thought Jennifer would be a good name for her, but ah, well. It's funny about frogs - my fave color in the world by A LOT is green, but I want blue frogs. Not enough to get them, but as a velleity. My daughter was nicknamed Pooh cuz that was the first thing that made her laugh was a musical Pooh. She is now a musician. Anyway, what I came to say is thank you so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for all the goodies!! And yes, I am a huge fan of LisaLisa, love her music. : ) Thank you for the nice note as well.
Response: You're so welcome! After I read your rating (thank you so much for the heart and the rating!!) I went on YouTube and listened to some Lisa Lisa & the Cult Jam. I forgot how Lost in Emotion was one of my favorite '80s songs! So I listened to that about 20 times, and a couple others.
Comment: Thanks for the great goodies and the letter! I will reply soon! SuperWhoLock for LIFE! <3 hahahah! YES! I hope Tennant drops from the sky and lands in my house!! hehehe
Thanks! I'll definitely check out Being Human!
Have a fab weekend! x Gabi
Response: Awesome - I'd love a letter back! Did you read my profile? So much in common. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: hi there! Thank you for your swap!! I LOVED everything you sent. Esp the cosmic postcard! Im also impressed that you looked up what ATC JAMS are! I would love to do a swap with you if you would ever want to. Theres a few groups on here for JAMS (Im in them) as well as some facebook groups. :) Have a beautiful artsy day! Thank you again!
Response: Glad you liked stuff! I did sign up for an ATC Jams group, so I will be starting that shortly. Or when someone sends me one. I'm living in one town now, moving to another in 9 days, so I will get to it after that. I look forward to the ATC jams - it seems like such a neat thing to do. And also I sometimes feel sad because I never keep any ATCs I make (though I am duplicating one that I really love one of these days to keep) so this is a way to get to keep something I made, WHILE also swapping! Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much! I love the personalized note and hope to swap with you more.
Response: Definitely. These stuff the mailboxes - I'll be joining ALL of them now that I have a big ol' stash. I have this quality about me that made it so fun to get together 20 envelopes, put the stamps and my return address label on them, collect 20 or 40 or 60 of a bunch of different stuff, and have them all ready to go and label, and basically this was just so fun. I'd love doing this even if I didn't get stuff back, but can't wait to see what I get back! Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Yay for green! (I wish I could have written this in green.) Thanks for the cheery citrus ATcoin, green envie and card, and die cuts. Your green goodies made my day!
Response: So glad you liked it. I'm mad for green, and feel the same kind of rush when I meet someone else who is that I feel when I meet a fellow Whovian or Sherlock fan or Trekkie or... you know, like that! Green is my #1 fandom! Thank you so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: I'm loving your creations. Great backgrounds and all in my favorite color :) Thanks for the cool postcard too.
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I was flipping through postcards, and that one jumped out to m e as really matching the rest with the different shades of green and almost teal. Green is a great obsession of mine, so I loved doing this. Do you ever find it hard to send cards you make? Also, I just ordered a set of notecards that come in yellow envelopes and of course I thought of you! You might be getting a random yellow envelope one of these days. :D Oh, and thank you for the rating and heart!
Comment: I had so much fun going thru all the green! Love the stamped bird images, so simple but great.
I actually haven't been able to catch up on Greys Anatomy yet :)
Response: Glad I didn't put spoilers in then! I'm so glad you liked it! I had such fun putting it together and only felt sad that I didn't have a green envelope in that size. Yeah, I'm finding that I like to stamp images, then use watercolors or colored pencils and then use them like a die-cut on a card or other piece of art, so hopefully you will be able to use those. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thanks for the cool card :) I should do a collage swap on Swap-Bot! I did one a few years ago, where people made collages representing wellness. I still have the one I received, it's taped on the wall of my bedroom.
Response: Oh, that is brilliant. Definitely do it! I'll be the first to sign up. Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thanks for your heartfelt message regarding your mental health recovery. I am going to make some collage pages with clear paper, so that I can decorate the front and also preserve the back so it can be read. I will do this with cards where people talk about mental health! :)
Response: Oh, that means so much to me! I don't know if you read my profile, but I definitely relate to mental health struggles. I don't know how much of that I was able to put on a postcard, but it's a real struggle. Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the pretty butterfly coin and the extra coin backgrounds!! :)
Response: You're very welcome, and thank you very much for the rating and the heart. I have now fallen in love with these coins and want to only ever make them! Not really only, but they are really fun. I'm glad you like it!
Addition: After I wrote this, a day later I think, I found a swap for 20 ATCoins. Fun!!!
Comment: Thank you for the post card. I've tried to buy all of Stephen King books. Book swap, yard sales, new, etc. But he writes so fast that I can't keep up. I just finished an Anne Rice book. Have you tried Dean Koontz? His "Watchers" is very good. How about Stephen King's "Lisey's Story"?
Any way thanks again for the pc.
Response: Oh, Lisey's Story is my favorite single book by Stephen King. And Watchers is BY FAR my fave Dean Koontz book! I still so badly want to find a dog who can talk to me!!! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart! Yeah, King pumps them out. I'm glad, because he's getting up there, and I want as much of him as he can give before ... you know, he can't. I'm very selfish that way! Which Anne Rice book? Did you like it?
Comment: First, I adore your sunflower card! Second, younhave like yhe best handwriting I have EVER seen in my life! No joke. Lol happy swapping.
Response: Thanks so much for the rating and the compliment. I was so worried you wouldn't like it with it being not hand drawn. I am definitely going to send you a hand painted one when I get you again! But in the meantime, thanks for the rating and the heart and the kind words!
Comment: I love your card! Watercoloring shells is super hard. I failed several times before i got one that didnt look like a blob lol. Happy swapping.
Response: I'm impressed you got one. I just never did. Though the card I received was really cool. The top layer was clear with a stamped image of a conch shell, and beneath it was watercolor painting, which looked very abstract on its own (but still pretty) and then colored in the top stamped layer when that was pulled down over it. Okay, now I have to give a name "goosey" cuz shout out. Thank you for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you - from one Bogie fan to another.
Response: Thanks so much for the rating and the heart! Yes, he's dreamy. In real life, other than just the dead thing, I could never have hung around him with all the smoking, but boy he makes me happy when I watch him on TV. Let me tell you this weird thing and see what you think - Denzel Washington's mouth/way of talking reminds me of Humphrey Bogart. What do you think?
Comment: Thank you for a great letter and goodies! No, the Gunslinger and Dark Tower books are not my favorites. I actually do not like them at all. My favorites are Deloris Claiborne, Misery and IT, among others. Actually, my mom used to read Stephen King out loud when she was pregnant with me. I guess that was my first exposure. Lol I’ve loved King for as long as I can remember!!
Response: Wow, and even BEFORE you can remember! I think your King tastes run like my mom's. The Dark Tower series seems to be a love-it or hate-it kind of thing. But if I can make one suggestion - the one he added later, Wind Through the Keyhole, is very different from the others, so if you get the chance to read it, I suggest it. It only stays with the Gunslinger at the very beginning and end, and the story in the middle is AMAZING. I love the ones you mentioned. Thanks for the rating, and for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the ATC. I loved the background on it. Thank you for the lovely note and all the goodies.
Response: I'm so glad you liked it. Like I said, I had a hard time letting that go. I'm in the process of making a duplicate to keep. I realized after sending that those stamps were not the kind with the backing, but you could always put them on a backing. Enjoy! Thanks for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Nice card! I don't think you cheated, as the card is well composed. Thanks!
Response: Thanks! Yeah, I looked at it on a pic I loaded online on Pinterest, and thought, it looks all right. Just cuz it's easy doesn't mean it's bad. haha! Thanks so much for the rating and the heart!
Comment: Loved your card- hopefully your humidity has died down.
Response: It will eventually. But with my central air, I hardly care. Hope your weather cools down - I saw these posts about how hot it is down there, things like traffic barriers just melting. Insane! Stay cool! Thanks for the rating and the heart.
Comment: One of my friends just went on a trip to see Polar Bears and whales but she didn't they didnt find many bears = ( sad, I hope I get to see them one day. Bison is our 14 y/o dog/son LOL. Thank you for the PC!

Comment: Love the Kazumi Yoshida PC! I was wearing sunglasses when I plucked it out of the mailbox and my first thought was 'Is this someone's sharpie art? Then I thought I recognized the style.....turned it over, yes! Love that I got a Zebra and a monkey and lately I am trying to draw elephants, so, cooll! Thanks, Good choice! (plus having a rough day so happy mail day to me! )
Comment: Yay! Another Cold Case fan. Sadly, I don't think we'll ever see it streaming anywhere. Too hard to get the music rights. And you know that show would be half of its awesomeness without the music. :) Go you for taking a risk and trying something new! I hope your painting gets better and better and that you love it always. :)
Comment: Your ATC backgrounds came out great and I love the look! So much better than mine! I'm learning something new from each set I receive. I'm used to working with fabric ATCs so I have a lot to learn! Thank you!
Comment: Your notecard was lovely! I loved the extra effort of sending a cactus notecard (-‘: also THANK YOU for the jazz recommendation! I’ll be sure to give it a listen or 2! I also put my pins on my denim jacket haha it gives it an edgier look and I’m all about it. Again, thank you so much ~
Comment: Thank you very much for the cute Pride ATC! I like the abstract owl, and I think your practice doodles are very cute! I'm putting them in my sketchbook for safekeeping. Glad to meet another person who is a green fanatic! Happy swapping!
Comment: Your envie, very clever BTW, made it just fine! I actually opened it up all the way and read about the asteroids!!!!! Your ATC id very cool, if you were my age you might even say - groovy because of the colors and waviness! That's my interpretation to the coolness of it..... lol Thank you for the extra PC!!!!!
Comment: We have a bit in common...I’d love to be pen pals with you! 🌸🌺
Response: I would love that. Any time you write me, I'll definitely write back! Not knowing that it would go two ways, I didn't ask questions, and I got a chatty kathy letter today full of questions for me, in addition to stuff about the person, and I realized, I would love to make it a two-way street! I'd absolutely love to hear from you, learn more about you and what's going on in your life, and I will definitely respond near immediately when I receive any letters.
Comment: Thank you! Glad I introduced you to something new with the axolotls! Sorry, not sure why it didn’t save when I tried rating the first time.
Response: Oh, weird. I don't keep track of my ratings like I should. I mean, i always notice when a new one comes in, cuz my email tells me, but if I'm missing ratings, I don't really know. So yay! Yeah, those things are cute!
Comment: I love these Planner swaps. I have finally found Planner Peace with my B6 Travelers Notebook. I am determined to convert all my girlfriends to using paper planners. I hope to invite some friends over to my house to a Planner workshop of sorts. Anyway, thanks for your Pinterest board, I have already begun to read the articles on there. What kind of planner do you use?
Comment: Oh my god i adore you!!! i love this board so much thank you so much for all the time you took to make it!! its an understatement to say i love it lol and i know orange peels are heavenly thanks again!!
Response: Thanks for the rating. I had so much fun with this. I wish there was s job like this haha!
