Comment: Thank you for sending your answers to this questionnaire. I'm sorry it took me so long to rate but this seems to have been hiding.
I loved reading your story because your summers seem so different from mine.
Comment: Hi Jennifer! Thank you for the pretty NC and share about your weekend! I am sure your Mom loved having you and your brother there! What a fun gift you all gave her! Hopefully she will catch on to it quickly! Hope you enjoy this weekend as well! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Hey Jen! Thank you for your letter! It wasn't boring like you say, I enjoyed learned about you. And truth be told, you wrote pretty candidly as opposed to some other cookie-cutter letters I sometimes get. I will be writing back!
Comment: Great postcard. Thank you very much. When I was a child, around 1960, the government poromoted that children should drink 3 cups of milk per day. It was good for your health. Now after years we realise they promoted milk drinking because the farmers (their cows in fact) produced too much milk. And instead of sending it to poor countries, we , children, had to drink 3 cups per day.
Comment: Jen...Thanks for the pic of the beautiful Rocky Mountains.....they pretty much have snow on them year around. I lived in Denver many years ago! Hoping not to see any real snow for a while...Charlene
Comment: Jennifer, thank you so much for all the little goodies in the swap. The puppy pencil pouch is PERFECT for my agenda notebook I have to carry around for school (I am a teacher), it matches!!! Above and beyond <3
Comment: Thanks for the yummy looking card and the cute kitty PC, Jen! Sadly, my van is still white. The other day though I bought a can of turquoise spray paint for my plain white mailbox. I am trying to decide between solid or polka dots. :)
Comment: I was so sad to read about your struggle with work. Just remember that when one door closes you can always open another, for another 17 years. Good Luck and I hope it all works out for you. Happy swapping.
Comment: Thanks for the package you sent me. Im sorry that you had to struggle. I get it, I get a few of those too and decided this is not going to be fun as i thought- And I should have done like you did take it as a challenge! I too am guilty of buying something for a swap and decide to keep it (i laughed a lot reading your letter). Thanks for a fun swap - I love tin cans. I actually pared down on my fabrics, lol so Im sorry you had to do go out of your way to find me one. You get the heart for the effort, lol. You are funny!
Response: I'm glad you liked it. You live and learn. It was a challenge but a fun one. Have a great day.
Comment: Jendoggie: thank you so much for the beautiful card! I love the vintage bird image, it is so pretty! Sounds like a relaxing weekend, I haven't had a facial in several months and feel I am due for one :) have a great rest of your summer, thanks again! Jenny
Comment: Thank you for the Siamese Cats PC. When I first met my husband in 1965 he had a siamese cat named Sheba. She ended up staying with his parents when we got married as she was too attached to his Dad.
Comment: I loved the postcard you made with the multiple pictures, you have such a beautiful pooch. I found it extra special as it arrived on my birthday with all my cards and it really made my morning. Thank you 🤓
Comment: Thank you for the card. Our weather has been crazy this "winter." This past weekend was right at 70 degrees and then it is supposed to get to 27 Thursday night. I hope it doesn't mess with the crops too bad or produce prices will go way up.
Comment: How nice to be your partner for another swap! It was great to read about your weekend! I had a very quiet weekend at home! This weekend is due to be rainy and windy and yucky. Crafty weekend it is! Envelopes and coloring here I come!
Comment: Thanks Jen! It's a great card and I believe that it's the original since the postmark is Dec 15th. Kudos to the post office. I'll let you know when the resend arrives. Sorry that I asked for it.
Comment: Thank you for the cute card received 22DEC16. There is snow in Toronto area. I am currently on holiday and when travelling through NC, it was quite icy when driving to stay at a hotel overnight.
Comment: Thank you for the great Pittsburgh Crawfords' "Big Five" card and Agatha Christie quote, Jennifer! Murder on the Orient Express is on my book shortlist :) I so enjoyed Hercule Poirot's exploits in middle school!
Comment: How creative that you sent me a Hew Years Card...wow! Guess i had forgotten about cards. What a great card to send me and thank you so much Jen! It made me smile today! That is a beautiful gift to give someone! Hehehe!
Comment: Thanks for the amazingly beautiful stationary and envelopes. It was very kind of you to send them unfolded, but if we swap stationary again, folded is fine by me! The designs on the blue stationary are mesmerizing; I can't look away. Thanks for sending such a great swap!!
Comment: So, strangely enough, I know where this barn is in the Delaware Water Gap. I drive through there a lot on my way up into New England and it's a really beautiful landscape. Awesome for hiking, too. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful watermill card. I will send it to someone special. I also appreciate the extras. Happy New Year! I already received a watermill card from you for this swap. I really love the fox card so if you would like me to send back the watermill card. Just let me know.
Comment: Thank you for the great wolf postcard! :) Where I live wolves are extincted as well, because they had been hunted...but people are trying to let wolves live here again and parts of Germany already have some few wolves again :) Happy New Year!
Comment: Thank you for the picturesque Christmas village, Jennifer; I agree -- snow is beautiful and idyllic until it isn't! I love cold weather only when I am dressed properly for it :) Hope you are having a good week!
Comment: Thanks for the great Apache portrait postcard! In Black River Falls, Wi, they found the original glass plates showing pics of Winnebago Native Americans both in Native and modern dress and they printed a book called, "The People of the Big Voice" I knew the children to great-grands of the people in the pictures. Pretty Cool! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thank you Jen for sending me the "Winter Art" PC - "The Magpie" painting by Monet. This picture is a favorite winter painting I enjoy looking at this time of year. Happy Holidays to you in Kansas City!
Comment: Thank you for the festive Rifle Paper Co. carolers, colorful rubber stamped images, and your kind greetings, Jennifer :) It was a joy to find in my maibox after a long weekend at work. Hope you are well! ♥
Comment: Oh my goodness where do I start with how much I love my package!! I love the lilac candle so much - it reminds me of spring at my grandma's which is perfect right now!! The Puppies calendar is so cute!! My husband is already making moves to steal it. The socks are so cute - and so soft - thank goodness my husband's hobbit feet won't fit in them or else he would steal those too. Love the Somerset Studio magazine, beautiful blue compact, adorable little paw print stamp, the scented soap is going in MY bathroom (lol)and cute little notes! Thank you so much!! This was the perfect swap to receive!!
Response: Glad you like it. It was hard not to go with Christmas stuff. I'm glad his hobbit feet won't stretch out your socks (lol).
Comment: An extremely heart warming envelope. Thank-you. Your personal note card regarding "Buddy" is on our mantle. Very nice assortment of cards. My favorite is the teddy bears.
Have a wonderful Holiday Season.
Comment: The chameleon postcard was so stinking adorable! I am going to have to see if I can find this set for future use. You aren't kidding about it being addictive. I forgot how fun it is to open the mail box and have a snail mail surprise! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the adorable black kitty with impeccable taste, Jennifer -- it reminds me of my little Uling, who I found waiting for me on the porch in one of the potted plants this afternoon =^_^= Hope you have a good week! This cutie-pie is going on my cat board ♥
Comment: Thank you for the peaceful, contemplative O'Keefe card -- I hope to visit the Art Institute this summer after I attend a friend's wedding -- Easter egg stickers, lilies stamp, and quote, which hits close to home. (As part of another swap, I was reminiscing on favorite childhood books, music, shows, and toys, and I realized that, no matter on what I disagree with my parents, I had as great a childhood as they could provide, and I am thankful for them. Happy Thursday!
Comment: Thank you for the most gorgeous Easter postcard I have ever seen. Where did you find it? I'm going to a postcard show in Springfield, Missouri tomorrow. I'm hoping to find a whole lot of fun cards to keep and pass on.
Response: I actually got them last year at paper source. They were in a tin.
Comment: Hi Jennifer! Thank you for the card an awesome stickers. I appreciate the warning about swapbot being addictive...but it's too late...I'm already hooked. I adore the quote and have saved it for my journal. I too am a dog lover. I have two dachshunds, Mimi and Charming. Brats both of them :)
Comment: Hi Jennifer! Thank you so much for the sweet Easter pc! I just love it! Well no one says how we have to enjoy the day, so sleep in my friend and enjoy your day! Happy Easter to you and yours! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: That is what makes this swap great, I like this ugly ass building, lol. True, it isn't beautiful, but it is interesting to me! I was already looking it up online to see exactly what it is before I read and saw it was for this swap! Thanks :)
Comment: Thank you for the great Statue of Liberty card, St. Patrick's Day-themed stickers, and pretty tulips stamp! I look forward to visiting the crown and the Ellis Island Museum next time :) Happy Thursday!
Comment: Thank you for the colorful stickers and great vintage card of the Golden Gate Bridge during the World's Fair! I look forward to visiting San Francisco especially since SFMOMA is reopening :) I couldn't agree more with your quote ;)
Comment: Hello! You know what is funny about you thinking that you just sent me a PC the other day (from your speedy SC PC #2) is that this and that they both came on the same day! ALSO, they are like, sticking together! Its crazy how nice they both are still! My quilt is not THAT nice, that one looks like a super crazy time!
Thank you for the wonderful Kitty PC! Love it. Hope all your goals are happy ones this year. Congrats on the weight loss!ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful Pooh sticker and The Hunchback of Notre Dame Card! As a kid, I was so excited that the world premiere was in my hometown :) I had the Esmerelda, Quasimodo, Phoebus, and Hugo puppets from Burger King and action figures, and my mom made my younger sister a kid-friendly red and purple costume for Halloween. Good times. I wish I could have seen the recent musical at La Jolla or Paper Mill Playhouse, but I'm happy there is a cast recording. Happy Tuesday!
Comment: Hi Jen! What a cute, sweet little kitten! It's been ages since I had a kitten and this little card is just darling. I like to nap, too! Thanks for sending such a cute card and including a little bit about yourself.
Comment: I love the kittie you send me! !! and also your handwriting! (: are coyote dangerous? I haven't seen one ever in my life!
Response: Thanks. I think my handwriting stinks...maybe I was having a good day? Lol. Coyotes are only dangerous to smaller animals. They are about the size of a medium sized dog but shy away from humans and bigger dogs. They will eat small dogs and cats though.
Comment: The postcard is so beautiful. I am definitely wishing you luck and sending you positive vibes for your 5 year journal.....can you explain to me what you are actually doing though and why 5 years? I have never heard of anything like it before
Comment: Thanks for such a pretty postcard--Dega is one of my favorites. My dog is still a puppy weighing less than 5 pounds (I think!), so it's more a matter of getting her to go for a walk rather than meander around sniffing everything she finds. I got a puppy for Christmas! Sadie B is a miniature Schnauzer, and is about 13 weeks old now. She is such fun, but being a terrier means she can be very wild and rambunctious at times--something my German Shepherd puppy wasn't. She was just so gentle and sweet from day 1. I still miss her (2 years later) but think that Sadie is good for me--need to share my heart with another dog! Have a wonderful 2016!
Comment: Hello Jen! Your New Year letter was fun to read and I'll try to remember to "ride with the windows open with hair blowing in the wind...with a friend along for the ride." Thanks for this swap, cheers for your fabulous weight accomplishment, and all good wishes for 2016! I have a 5 yr journal too! ⤠jinanne
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Kansas map card! Loved all the little facts on it :) I live in a rural central Florida, it's pretty boring too! but thank you for sharing your lovely home state with me <3
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful lighthouse card with a quote. I lost my mother when I was younger but that wouldn't have worked on me. We never had kids. We raised my sister (which was her kid) and she turned out pretty good. LOL.
Comment: Thanks for the Tiffany PC. I bet you had a great time visiting your parents and I'm sure they were so happy to see you, 8 months is a long time! PS your card came with 14c postage due, those oversized PC's take a 49c stamp, not the 35c. I've forgotten and messed up a few times on that myself lol. Have a great day!
Response: Thank you for letting me know, I have asked my local postmaster and they said the 35 cent stamps were fine. Now I know better. Would you like me to reimburse you?
Comment: Jen...THANKS for the beautiful PC...you can never go wrong sending me anything with a Sunflower!! Walking that many miles daily/weekly is very impressive and I'm sure you love your company/companion <3 Happy swapping, Charlene
Comment: Thank you so much for my lovely card. I adore whales and Beluga whales are actually my favorite!!! I had a stuffed baby beluga whale as a child (actually I still have it) that I loved! Thank you so much for bringing back happy childhood memories for this swap :D
Comment: Oh my gosh! I am so very sorry I didn't rate sooner. The cards are absolutely lovely! You chose well. My favorite is the desert flowers. It's pretty enough to frame. Thank you for the lovely Hedwig card!!! This was a nice surprise. :)
Comment: Thank you for the Kansas card. Texans like to claim the song "Abilene" for ourselves but I read the song was actually written about Abilene, Kansas. The writer for that song never came to Texas. You know we like to think everything's about us. LOL.
Comment: Thank you for the soutern wildflowers postcard. Yes, you are right......swap-bot is additive. I am enjoying the different styles of swaps and the fact that I can add to my pc collection. Janice
Comment: This was certainly a fun package to get! lol Thank you so much! I wish I could give more than 1 heart :) I go crazy in dollar stores, too... I've started implementing a "cash only" rule when I go into them sometimes haha
Comment: Thank you for the Kitty Postcard. It looks just lime my cat Minou when she was younger...lol. Thanks also for the mail art on the back. I just wish the sock monkey was the real thing instead of a sticker...lol
Comment: Thank you for the great card.
Rescue dogs are the best, aren't they? My Barney is a rescue and he was a scared little scrap of a thing when we got him.
He's now a bright cheerful happy little soul.
<3 <3 <3
Comment: First off i Looooove the PC, where did you get it? Lol this tots made up for my crappy week. I squealed when i saw it and got weird stares from my boyfriend lol. I wish i could give 1,000+ hearts. THANKS.
You seem like a wonderful person. Im happy there are ppl out there like you, i love that you walk 21 miles a wk you must be pretty fit. Great learning of you and thanks again. Have a beautiful day.

Comment: Thank you for this vintage postcard of Paris, France. [ I think there is a Paris in the States too (??)] I have put your great postcard in my blog at:
Do have a look (I have more than 500 postcards there) and please leave a comment if you like to.
Comment: Thanks so much for the Paris themed PC... when I seen it I though Oh Kiona will love this...turned it over and seen you thought the same thing =) Thanks for taking the time to read my profile and including my daughter in your choice
Comment: Jen Thank you for the house finch postcard. Have you ever heard them? They are the loudest thing ever. You would never believe the loudness that can come out of them. You would think they were t he size of an eagle. Shirley
Comment: Thank you! <3
**Edited to add additional comment** I got the birthday card from you. How unexpected and thoughtful! Thank you very much. It brought a big smile to face this morning when catching up on mail from the past week.
Comment: Oh.My.Lanta. We need more than one heart option box. I am so lucky that I was your partner when you decided to go overboard ; )
My roommate told me I got a package in the mail, I was so confused...then excited..then ecstatic. I'm not that patient, so I may end up peaking at some early, but it's going to be so much fun opening them all.
Thank you thank you thank you. You're the best swapper I've had yet!
Response: Glad you liked the box. I just hope you like what's inside. Some things are silly, but hey, who can't a silly day now and then.
Comment: Thank you for the great assortment of washi tape! It feels right at home in my collection:) I have never been to Kansas City and found the information about the Country Club Plaza very interesting...thank you for sharing ♥
