Comment: These are just gorgeous! Even better than the video - thank you Also a pretty envelope and great vintage postage and oh my what a sweet glassine envie of pretty pink stickers! What a wonderful swap!
Comment: Thanks for the double pockets you sent. I like the theme you used. I laughed when I read your note about you not really following directions. I could tell b/c on one of them the back pocket wasn’t sealed and the ephemera was falling out. 😭 I sealed it up...🧐😆Sometimes it’s much easier to see what the jist of the project is and then put it together a much easier way. Sometimes I look at a video and think there’s a much easier way to do that. Thanks a bunch for my goodies. Take care and be safe!
Comment: oh what a lovely surprise was waiting for me when I got home from my travels. You out did yourself. I wish I could send you a dozen hearts. I really enjoyed our visit and Pam was thrilled with all the goodies you sent for her. Thanks again for all that you do. Barbara
Comment: My Dear Leandrea, Your letter was truly a thing of beauty. Every inch of it was done with care and I absolutely loved it. You must tell me how you created the look of your folder, which I thought gorgeous.
With affection, Jenny Wren
Comment: Oh my goodness, Nickalli! I just came back from my honeymoon and your amazing journal was waiting for me! I can not tell you how absolutely perfect your journal is! I wish I could give you 25 ♥️ !!! It’s absolutely stunning! I can not believe how lovely and detailed it is. All of the wonderfully sewing you have done...all of the time and writing and just all of the love you obviously put into it...I am so HONORED to be it’s recipient. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will never be able to express enough in words how much I love this journal! Mine PALES in comparison, and I wish I had a fraction of your talent. Thank you, again dear friend...your beautiful journal is in the most appreciated hands to be treasured and enjoyed forever ♥️. Hugs, Jill (Priscilla)
Comment: Nickalli, I LOVE the cursive sampler you sent. The bordered paper was really beautiful, with a perfect vintage-y feel. And your writing is really quite beautiful! I also appreciate the sweet little extras, and the gorgeous postage stamps which arrived uncancelled; they're little bits of art. A wonderful swap. I'd give you a hundred stars if I could. Thank you! ♥
Comment: Dear Nickalli, I like the sound of your recipe. I shall try it straight away. It sounds light and delicious. I must say though, I grew up with the dark dense proper English fruit cake, we have it every Christmas, so I was saying YUM!
Thank you for your lovely envelope filled with pretty delights. xxx lots hearts
I am happy you enjoyed making the lantern and I am so impressed with the alterations you have made. I do like the frosted look of your winter lantern and I believe a crochet scarf would be the perfect touch.
Fondly, Jenny Wren
Comment: Dear Nickalli, I do love the swap you made for me so much! The bookpage you used for the biggest pocket is amazing and I love the total look of it all. Far better then the example in the video! Thank you for all the cute paper extras too. Good luck with the heat...we have rain!
Comment: Thank you so much for this really nice ATC! I love all of the different kinds of ink that you used! The gold writing is beautiful - I love how if you squint your eyes it just turns into a glittering texture! This ATC will have a home in my owl collection! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you so much for the amazing ATC. Wow! That's a cool stamp - and I assume the skeleton heads are yours too. All, wonderful! Thanks for the nice note too. It's great to hear from you again too!
Comment: What a lovely swap I received today!! I am very behind with my journal! I have the parts but need to do the cover and pages. I had so many other swaps in progress, I wanted to wait til I could devote my time to it. My journal pretties are patiently waiting for me to give them their due home!! Love your swaps!! Smiles, Beth
Comment: So much to like about this package--from the envelope to the ATC. The envelope, with the stamped geckos and saguaro, was so Tucson for me. Brought back memories. The note card pouch combo was very cool. Never saw that before. I really like the idea. Thanks for your gnome-theme handcarved stamp stickers, and the bookmark. And a big thank you for the really nice ATC. I love all the mixed media and mixed technique - carved stamp, fabric collage, stitching, handcarved stamp backing. Well done. Thank you for making and sharing it with me.
Response: You are so very welcome! Thank you for all the wonderful comments- I love getting a chance to use my stamps and some of my mixed media supplies! Finding things that have been hiding in my craft room for years (the leaves!) ❤️ Thank you! I look forward to our next swap!
Comment: The stamped embellishments are LOVELY. I do not have any of these stamps so it was an awesome surprise. I can’t wait to use them in my journal. So, so thankful. 💕💕💕💕💕. The extras are so beautiful too. One of my favorite SWAPS ever!!! Love your style.
Response: One of my favorites too! I have so many stamps and love finding ways to use them!! Thank you for the kind comments, rating and heart!! ❤️
Comment: I absolutely LOVE the autumn pocket that you made me and the goodies inside. Very much my style. What did you use to make the little gold dots on the lace and paper? It was such a neat idea. Bunches and bunches of hearts.
Response: So glad you liked it! The gold dots are Liquid Pearls . Love that they add just a bit of shine without heaviness or bulk. Thank you for the heart! ❤️
Comment: Dearest Leandrea, I so enjoyed our visit The Thread/Ribbon keeps you shared were wonderful. I really liked the embroidery book I made a drawstring bag to put my thread keep, so the threads would not get tangled with the other items in my workbag. .I look forward to our next visit. Best regards, Phebe
Response: Thanks for your kind words, rating, and I look forward to our next get together!
Comment: Hi Nickalli! Lucky me to be the recipient of these beautiful envelopes! I'm simply in awe of the detail you put into both of these beauties. First, I have never EVER seen any fabric like the lace w/purple flowers--absolutely gorgeous--and the blue/green/purple one is to DIE for! Wow...all that sewing, he ruffled fabric, the pin with charms--what an amazing swap! I just love the vintage pictures you included--the one with the young boy and girl growing things--I look for images just like that every time I go thrifting. Thanks for your sweet note, too; it's always a pleasure swapping together. Be well--keep swapping ;+)

Comment: Nickalli, you did a beautiful job on the clusters. I like making them too. Rather addictive. Thanks for the extras as well and so cute how you protected them in the little cardboard "book." I'm going to remember that idea. We've swapped before. Hope we do again.
Response: Thanks for the kind words, rating and heart!! I look forward to our next swap as well! ❤️
Comment: The needle book you've made is lush and gorgeous! You added so much detail to each page, I had to pore over every photo more than once just to take it all in. Thank you for sending so many lovely pictures of your beautiful work; I enjoyed them all. ♥
Response: Your praise warms my heart ❤️ Thank you for your kind words, it was definitely a labor of love I will most likely not repeat- but I’m glad to have had the experience! ❤️

Comment: Your letter was lovely and the way you described your travels is so descriptive! I look forward to seeing the shells you have found and to hear more about the sights and things you did whilst there!
Response: Thank you for the rating and heart ❤️ ❤️
Comment: I'm so sorry for my late rating!!! I loved your letter and replied just now to it. :) I will have to find some tutorials for ribbon embroidery to try next time I have a project to make (maybe my needle case?) as I am so inspired by your beautiful designs!!!
Response: Aww! Thank you❤️❤️ I hope you try it, it looks impressive and complicated - but it really isn’t at all. Very forgiving! 😁

Response: I’m so glad you liked it! Thank you for the rating and kind words!! Bees are my favorite!! ❤️
Comment: Hi Nickalli! Well . . . you have the magic touch because your cards using 'different' colors are still just beautiful! That big, red butterfly accented with the gold/red strip is GORGEOUS and I love the black/white card with the fuzzy polka dots! They both just sing . . . and many EXTRA thanks for those sweet postcards from your granny. ;+)
Response: Thanks so much for the rating and always coming up with the BEST swaps on swap-bot!! ❤️

Response: Thank you so much for the heart and rating! Pact to use more brads!! Lol!!
Comment: Nickalli, your signiture arrived and it is lovely. I thing that is very clever of you to lay the tags flat like that, it prevents thickness on the sending and I shall adopt the same idea. Thank you so much Innes loves the journal signature. xxx
Response: So glad it arrived safely! I always worry - even just mailing to the next state over. Thank you for the heart and rating!! ❤️
Comment: I love your snippet strips! So colorful and whimsical. Your attention to detail really makes these "pop" - I cannot wait to use in my journals! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with me, made my day! :)
Response: Aww, thank you so much! I’m so glad you liked them- definitely on the wilder side! Thank you for your kind comments and rating!
Comment: Thank you for sharing your process of making your leaf prints. I thought it very interesting. It was such a fun process, because you don't know what the end result will be.Like you, my prints did not come out as well as I would have liked, so I'll try it again. Have a nice day and do stay safe. bearnbabs
Response: Thanks so much!! I hope we do another so I can learn more - fun experimenting! ❤️
Comment: Well this is another 10 star project from you! I too had a ball making this little journal and ended up making a smaller version for my junk journal. I love every page you put in here and there is such a wonderful variety. Love the 2 Currier and Ives images of the old people drinking tea, the pockets you made trimmed with lace, the different sizes of pages and paper, and all the little butterfly tags you made and tucked into pockets. And the little tiny booklet - adorable! What a wonderful swap partner you are to create such an amazing little journal! Thank you so much!!
Response: Awww - thank you for the kind words! Those images made my day! I want to make another soon as well - such a fun project! Thanks for the heart and great rating!! Look forward to swapping with you again! ❤️
Comment: Love it! The weird little woman is super cute! I can't believe its already so hot in AZ - we're still in the 40s at night :(
Response: I’m so glad you liked her! I have no idea where she came from, I’ve been hoarding her for YEARS - never finding the right project! I’m sure she’s happy to be out of that box! LoL! Thanks for the ❤️
Comment: These tags are just incredible! The stamped images are so well done and love all the machine stitching you did! The insect and botanical images you used are great! Love the little tags and cards that you put into the pockets, too!! Thank you!! You are such a great swap partner!
Response: Awww 🥰 thank you so much! I had such fun with those and an equally hard time sending them away! So glad they found a happy home! ❤️ Thank you for the heart and rating!!
Comment: Oh my goodness, Nickalli, these are AMAZING! Mine turned out much 'clunkier!' Yours are so delicate and beautiful. I remember some layered butterflies you sent me once that were also very delicate! So many lovely layers on each embellishment; I'll definitely be hoarding them for awhile before using them and they'll serve as inspiration to me! Thank you!
Response: So glad you liked them! I kept wanting to add more - never feeling like they were complete! I guess it’s hard to see each one for what it is when surrounded by his friends! Definitely a fun one we need to do again! Thanks for the heart !
Comment: Thank you very much for the lovely junk journal. Purple is not my color but I found that if something is made with love and care it always make me smile. And this one sure made me smile. I love it.
Response: Oh thank you! I’m glad you liked it despite the color! It was definitely a fun one to reference back to when in need of ideas! Thanks for the rating! ❤️❤️
Comment: Wow! A gorgeous mail art envelope, lovely handmade papers and Swedish? text...AND the sweetist embellishments. Just wow! The little hanging tags will be so nice in journals. I love the Tim Holtz paper and your choice of words. Thank you so much, Nickalli. Stay well.
Response: Thank you for your comments and awesome rating! I’m so happy you liked everything, including the Icelandic text! Take care!! ❤️
Comment: These 'hangovers' are wonderful. I like all of the different elements you used on them. It's always fun to see how other people create in these swaps. I agree - I should be organizing, but this is more fun!!
Response: Thanks for the rating and heart! These were the second batch, I killed the first ones with so much gesso... oh, so much... Anyway, I’m happy you liked how these turned out!
Comment: Nickalli! I give you 10 hearts for this! Oh my! It's amazing. Your watercolor colors are so soft and pretty and your desert doodles are incredible. You have got so much talent. This was fun for me but whenever I have to paint or draw I get really unsure as I have no faith in my drawing ability. I thought mine had turned out okay but you just nailed this! I'm lucky as when we moved to California full time last year we have 4 bedrooms so I got to snatch one of them as my craft room. It's a nice size and has a smallish walk in closet so I have lots of storage. And when we moved, packing up my craft room took more time and more boxes than any other room in the house, including the kitchen. So just keep signing up and crafting away! You are too good to stop!
Response: Aww, thank you so much for the kind words & wonderful rating. I really enjoyed this but I truly have no imagination and have to copy everything I draw from google image searches! 😁 Thankfully I’m a good mimic! Your craft room sounds amazing!! Stay cool & craft on my friend!! ❤️
Comment: These are sooo pretty! Love the roses on the front and all the different scraps you used! They all work so well together! The tuck-ins are so nice, too! Beautiful work! Thank you so much! Take care!
Response: Aww, thank you! This was such a fun swap and I’m so glad you liked it! Thank you for your kind words and rating! ❤️
Comment: Love these notecards. Collage is my favorite medium and I will be very pleased to add these to my journals-I want to keep them myself! My hubby and I are both retired and are used to being at home but not ALL the time-I used to go to card making classes on most Tuesday nights-different meetings-got my nails done every other week-etc etc. Funny how one can take regular activites for granted until they are gone. But we do what we must do. Thanks again for swap-love my contact with swapbot-love my postal workers. Take care!
Response: Thank you for your wonderful rating and newsy note! ❤️ I am so thankful for my swapbot friends and postal workers as well - keeping me busy & sane!! 😂
Comment: Hello Nickali...your journal spots were so cute! And thanks for the extras that you included. Note...sorry about the delay in rating...I had previously but apparently I forgot to "save the ratings"!
Response: No problem! Thanks for the great rating - I’m glad you liked everything 😁❤️
Comment: Thank you for such lovely letter. However the images I couldn't view or download. Hope you had a wonderful Easter. Barbara/Phebe
Response: Oh no! I’m bummed - I don’t know why the images didn’t show up. I even sent a few test emails beforehand to make sure. Well, anyway - I’m glad you enjoyed the letter and I thank you for the rating! Hope you had a marvelous Easter as well. ❤️
Comment: Hi Nickalli and thank you for the awesome Zine! These were such fun to do and the one you made turned out so great. Are you or your family from Iceland? I love that this was your theme and you executed it just brilliantly!
Response: Aww, thanks so much! That was a fun and unusual project! We’ve lived in Iceland thanks to the USAF and my son was born there so he claims he’s Icelandic, which he’s really not! 😂
Comment: Thank you so very much for the lovely email with the beautiful pictures! It really made my day - I really appreciate all the work you put into this swap. I hope you are staying healthy and safe. ♥️ Jill (Priscilla)
Response: You are very welcome! I enjoyed putting it together. I’m still hesitant to put anything on a profile - even after reading the instructions. 😁❤️❤️
Comment: Nickalli, I love your zine! Very pretty and I love the images and colors. So cool it is in the Icelandic language! Thanks for the translation! I will definitely enjoy having this one in my special collection! Pretty water color floral card too!
Response: Aww 😊 thanks for your sweet comments! I’m so glad you liked everything. Thanks for the rating and heart ❤️
Comment: Hi Nickalli! You sent 3! I love them and can't wait to use them--they look so professionally done. All your work is exemplary--you should have your own YouTube channel! Thanks bunches; I'm so happy to be swapping together again.
Response: Thanks for the great rating and sweet comments- I hope you and yours are doing well! Enjoy the extra at home time!! ❤️
Comment: Nickalli!!!!! I have really missed swapping together! Thank you so much for this gorgeous little vase with a hand-painted (not only) rose, but a DAISY, TOO!! Just beautiful. I love you 'vase' with the sweet little flower cluster in the center and the tiny heart charm. Such a lovely journaling spot. Thank you, my friend; it made me so happy to receive a swap from you!
Response: Awww 😊 you know I’m always happy when we get to do a swap together! ❤️ That was a fun one! Thanks for all you do! Swap with you again soon, my friend! 😁
Comment: Your pop art lady turned out really well! Such a versatile pose, too. Really nicely done. The post office cancelled the wrong side, and at the bottom, so the postcard has those classic wavy lines under the caption. True mail art - thanks for sharing your creativity.
Response: So glad you liked her! Biggest thing I’ve attempted in a long while! I think she’ll be very versatile too! 😁❤️ Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: What a fun swap this was and how cute were the results? Love the colorful card stock that you used and all your fun embellishments. You managed to tuck a lot of tiny goodies in that little pocket and your tag and mini envelope just round it all off. Thanks for another really fun swap!
Response: You are so very welcome! Thanks for the hearts and rating! Can’t wait to swap with you again ❤️
Comment: HI Nickalli and thanks for the wonderful Journal pockets - I am working on my first junk journal so they will find a home there. The large one of vintage music paper is just my cup of tea - I love that vintage look and coloring. The Asian themed one is so cute - I've been working with an Asian theme lately so this is perfect. And the little one in black and red is too cute. And thank you for the extra pockets - I did the same thing and made some extra ones for my journal. Another great swap from a great partner!
Response: Thanks for your kind comments! I’m glad you’ll find uses for them. I have no done a full junk journal before - I have commitment issues! 😂 Have fun! ❤️❤️
Comment: Nickalli...I absolutely love the 2 Stack Heart Journal Spots that you made for me. They were so expertly crafted!!! I liked the paper sources/combinations that you used to create them! The one that has the diamond pattern paper...the inside heart made from the music sheet came apart by the center stitching. Not to fear...I whipped out some glue and all is well again...🤗. Thanks fo much.
Response: I’m so glad you were able to fix my sewing machine’s aggressive behavior!! Thanks for your kind words and rating! ❤️
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely recipes and the wonderful letter enclosed, I enjoyed it so much and can’t wait to put it in my Amberleigh Journal! I really appreciate the time that was put into to all that lovely handwriting ♥️ Jill (Priscilla)
Response: You are very welcome! I love having the chance to break out my dip pens and old fountain pens! ❤️ Thanks for the rating and heart 😁
Comment: My dear Leandrea, you have truly out done yourself. This floating journal tag/pocket with tag is a work of art. I adore the collaging of natural toned papers and book papers you chose. The lace and stitching are lovely touches. The blue floral on the back of the tag is gorgeous! Blue is my favorite! Florals and butterflies always make me happy. I genuinely appreciate the time and care you took to make this so special for me. Thank you for the sweet note as well. I agree, it's been much too long since we have chatted. It's so good to hear from you!
Response: It makes my heart happy that you are pleased! Thank you for your rating, heart, and most kind comments!
Comment: Nickalli! They are so beautiful! I love (and have every intention of copying) the little charm you attached to the lavender one; as for the rose one...roses are my favorite flower (must be my June birthday), and this pocket is soooo beautiful! Do you think people buy paper napkins (the pretty ones, such as these) to use for beverages and fancy lunches, or are they simply used for decoupage these days? My guess is decoupage! I have been buying some on eBay, and they are $2 for 2 napkins (with free shipping generously thrown in). I think some women shop all over for pretty paper napkins; pay $3 or $4 for the entire pack, and make a killing selling them 2 at a time on eBay! Enjoy your temperate winter while I wear fleece inside and wool socks inside my slippers...and although your summers are hot, they are dry, whereas the humidity here in summer can be unbearable. However, the spring, summer, and autumn are truly beautiful, with all the deciduous trees and humidity-loving plants!
Response: So happy you liked them both! I LOVE the impact napkins can have, and so easily!! I have gotten almost all of mine at Tuesday Morning and by swapping. Swapping is a great way to get a variety and inexpensively since there are way more in the pkg than you need! Let me know if you’d like to do a swap! Just msg me the number you’d like to exchange and I can set it up! 💕
Comment: Your journal cover embellishments are really, really nice! I love how you made the charms dangle! And looks like your sewing machine does a much better job than mine does!! Thank you so much and good luck with your "Use Your Hoard!!" !
Response: Thank you for your lovely comments! It’s been a hard no-spend month! But I’m almost to the finish line! 😁
Comment: Hi! The Donna Dewberry Journal Cards you made turned out so cute. I love your color choices and the background print. I did a stenciled background on the ones I created too. Awesome job! Thanks for the extras you sent. It will be put to good use.
Response: So glad you liked them! I would love to practice more - fun, but not as easy as she made it look!! Swap-bot needs a gallery so we can view everyones creations! 😁
Comment: Dear Nickalli, thank you so so much for this wonderful swap! I love all the effort and creativity you put into it, with amazing results. I admire your use of fabrics and lace and all the details, very inspiring!
Response: Thank you for your kind comments and wonderful rating! Such a Fun swap to make! 😁
Comment: Dear Leandrea, your strawberry ink is delightful and smells so divine! I am wholly impressed with your writing style too, yes indeed. I look forward to trying the recipe out. Many blessings be yours, Innes.
Response: Thank you for the rating and heart - so glad you were pleased!
Comment: Thank you for the sweet tags. I have reusable gift bags and the colors on your tags will coordinate nicely with some of them! And thanks for using that cool Golden Spike postage stamp - I haven't seen that before!
Response: Oh! I’m so glad - I love when kismet happens! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Dearest Leandrea, thank you so much for such a surprise. I love the postcard your painting of the corn bell is gorgeous. And the paperclip is so unusual, did you make it? It was a lovely letter, and I was so happy to help with your gown ideas, my feet hurt too! Many hearts dear Nickalli. xx
Response: I’m so glad you were delighted with everything! The paperclip was an extra I made from another swap and am so glad I did! I’m glad you liked it too.
Comment: I think your card is gorgeous: really lovely! I like what you did with the envelope, too, to ensure it became a set. I will be keeping this card and envie in my stash for inspiration! Thankyou for the napkins, too, I felt very spoilt when I opened your package this morning!
Response: So glad you are happy with everything! That was a fun card to create! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Lucky me to receive TWO of your swaps! These butterflies are so delicate and gorgeous and you managed to include so many delightful details in each one! Love the little danglies, the jeweled and pearl bodies and the bits of lace. I can't wait to use these! Thanks, too, for the lovely stencil.
Response: My second attempts definitely were improvements over the poor little first ones I tried! Sometimes these little ones look deceptively easier than they actually are! ❤️
Comment: Hi Nickalli! These are just lovely. I'm crazy for those little fabric and lace snippets and the way you sewed around each card. Love the muted color palette s well. Response: Aww! So excited To make my favorite host happy!! Thanks for all you do - and for the ❤️!!
Comment: Nickalli: Well this painted acetate ICAD is wonderful! I had trouble getting my painted stripes to work but you got them just right. And your spatters - perfect! That's another technique that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. And thank you for the variety of fun fall extras!!
Response: So glad you liked it! I ended up painting two sheets to be able to cut out that swatch! Lol I too have a love/hate relationship with splatters. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Nickalli, these little hinged folders are so pretty! I'm sitting here flipping them open and closed and trying to decide what to do with them... I love how they each have a bit of a theme - thank you!

Comment: Hi Nickalli! These really are cute--anything with cute animals is a win for me. It's so sweet of you to provide an intro to swap-bot for your mother-in-law. So glad your weather is cooling, if even only a little bit ;+) I'll definitely be using these on a journal I'm creating for my granddaughter!
Response: Oh how fun - a journal for your granddaughter! Loved those little critters! 😁
Comment: This is a FABULOUS little journal Nickalli...and i respectfully disagree with you regarding your sewing skills! There are so many beautiful details...the little paper pad is wonderful, with each page beautifully coffee-dyed...the doily...the tags...i love it all. Thank you so much!
Response: Thanks for your kind comments and rating! So happy you liked everything!
Comment: Oh Leandrea, the fabrics you sent me are beautiful! I like them both very much, especially the pink roses with subtle gold accents. They will be beautiful additions to my crafting. One hundred hearts and hugs to you. Cheers, Maria (Elenamarie)

Comment: I love your book page pockets!! Your gelli printing is amazing!! And love the wooden shapes - I have some but was afraid they wouldn't mail without breaking. Looks like there is no problem!! Thank you so much!
Response: Thank you for the rating - mail away!! I’ve send a few others and all seemed to have survived! 😁
Comment: Hello and many thanks for the great postcard - I love coffee and autumn, and they're both most excellently featured in your artwork. The background shimmery colors and leaf stamping is really nicely done, and the crow perched on top of the coffee cup is just perfect for the season. Thanks again for a Great Mail Day!
Response: Thank you for your kind remarks! I’m so glad you liked it! Happy Fall! 😁
Comment: Nickalli, thank you so much for these gorgeous trims to use in my creations! I love all your items, but especially the long piece with the button at the top--I'm crazy for that flower you placed under the button--it ties the whole piece together. And your button card looks professional! Love the stamped sewing machine on the front--so clever. You always make the nicest things and I'm so lucky when I'm the recipient!
Response: Awww - thank you so much! I’m so happy you liked everything- I’m always trying to step up my game when you’re my partner because I know how much you always put into your swaps as well! ❤️
Comment: Beautiful! I love your card, Nickalli, and my MOST favorite thing are those stitches that show your dragonfly is actually 'flying' . . . so inspired. (I might borrow that idea;+) Your work is always so good and such a pleasure to receive. I always do the happy dance when we're partners!
Response: Aww, thanks!! It was a last second decision that I was quite pleased with! See ya at the mailbox again soon!! ❤️
Comment: Oh my gosh Nickalli! Your altered file folder is amazing! I had not even started mine when yours arrived and now know I should have started sooner - this one is really involved. But the end result is absolutely worth the effort. I love all the bits and pieces you used, the folders and flaps and pockets with goodies inside. I know how much time you put into this so thank you so so much for an absolutely brilliant piece of art! It absolutely inspires me to do something amazing with my own. And didn't people used to have beautiful handwriting??? Thanks for another great swap!!
Response: I’m so happy you liked it! I’ve gotta confess though - it wouldn’t have been nearly as fun if I hadn’t gotten mine from @isabellasnow first! Mine is only half as spectacular as hers was! You’ll have to check out the addresses I used on the envelopes- kinda nerdy! 😁 thanks for the lovely compliments and heart!! ❤️
Comment: Hi Nickalli, Thank you for the great journal cards - I love them! I really liked the way the cards looked once ythe 12 x 12 sheet was cut up and love how you decorated your's. Another fun YTPC swap! And thank you for the extras and your fun flowered handmade envelope and note card!!
Comment: Hi Nickalli: Thank you for the 3 cute circle page tucks! It was a fun project and not time consuming like a lot, as you said. The three you sent me will be a really fun addition to my journal. And thanks for the extras you included!
Comment: Nickalli - your clock face tags are brilliant! I love the different sentiments you used for each as well as your trims, buttons and papers. This was a really fun project and these will be perfect in the junk journal I plan (hopefully soon!) to start. Cheers!
Response: So glad you like them and can use them! Definitely a fun swap! Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: Hi Nickalli! Well . . . you've done it again; it's gorgeous! I absolutely love the detailing on the figure and the song you chose? Perfect! I just got home from San Francisco and saw my granddaughter's recital where she sang that song! Your page brought me to tears remembering. I adore the fact that your figure is full-figured and still 'beautiful.' What a lovely sentiment; I'll treasure it! p.s. I also thought your collaged envelope was amazing!
Response: Awww, now I have tears! How wonderful to be able to see your Granddaughter’s recital - as soon as I signed up that was the song in my head! So happy it made it’s way home to you! Thanks, my friend - you made my day!!
Comment: Nickallli! OMG! For someone who "isn't much of a vintage-look person", you did an amazing job! I just love this...it's beyond gorgeous. And I"m worried, because what I ordered from Amazon was glassine ENVELOPES! I wonder if I can make them into bags somehow. Just know that this is an absolutely spectacular swap, that I love it and that I'm in awe of your beautiful calligraphy skills!
Response: Aww, thank you so much for your kind words! So happy you liked it! I’m sure what you got will work - that was actually made from a sheet of tracing paper! Thanks again!!
Comment: Thanks for all the interesting papers. You sent a great variety of colors and textures, and I like that you made it into a little book: how fun! I hope your birthday was delightful. I was definitely spoiled this year. ♥
Response: Thanks! I’m glad you liked how it was put together! I had done a previous swap making a sampler book & thought this would lend itself well. Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: Oolala! Two pockets for ME! And (best of all) they are both gorgeous! Love the fabric/ribbon/button/lace combos on both--such pretty combinations. Love the little hanging threads--that look is really neat--and that you covered the backs so nicely. I can't wait to use that fabric snippet you sent--it's beautiful! Thanks so much for always being such a wonderful partner; I just love receiving your work.
Response: Aww, so glad you liked everything! Thanks for always being a super host & swapper!
Comment: Thank you so very much for the lovely little paper clip embellishments. They are really darling as are the sweet tags they are attached to. Thank you also for the great extras. Very nice swap!
Response: So happy you enjoyed it! Thanks for the rating and heart!!
Comment: What a fabulous ATC!!! Love the bold color and the way you incorporated fiber. What an awesome addition to my collection. I hope you make it up to the PNW, too. As I type, the sun is making its way up and it looks like it's going to be a perfect day - blue skies, dark blue Puget Sound rimmed with emerald green forests and snow-capped Olympic range on one side and Cascades on the other. Come on up! :)
Response: I’m ready to leave now!! Well, after I pack a few art supplies! Enjoy your wonderful part of the world and thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the blooming awesome postcard :D I love the variety of flowers you carved and the text background. I cannot wait for spring and gardening season! I love where I live and cannot imagine living anywhere else :)
Response: Thanks for the rating and kind words! Those are the only kinds of flowers I can grow! Two of the backest thumbs ever right here! Lol
Comment: Thank you for your page, i love it. I find i a very interesting technique. And your envelop is so nice, i had a smile when I saw him in the mailbox. And thank you for the extra winny the pooh stamps.
Response: You are so very welcome! I’m so glad you enjoyed everything. Thank you for the rating and the heart!!
Comment: Nickalli, I love ANY direction you take in your art--it's always really special. I'm crazy for the color combo and think the background--complete with horizon--is gorgeous. As has happened many times in the past, I think yours is cuter than the tutor's ;+) Love swapping together! p.s. your envelope deserved its own swap ;+)
Response: Aww, thanks my friend! Glad you like how it turned out - that was a fun one for sure!! Appreciate you going to all the trouble to find these for us! ;0)
Comment: YOur envelope I just rcvd is spectacular! Ooooo! lol The napkins are wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine my surprise when I discovered they werent on pages. lmao I ran back to the swap and sure enuff they dont say bookpages. No, i didnt read the swap but remember I asked shall I trim your book pages? lolololol NO worries just a blip. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Response: Glad you liked everything! Lol - I’ve sent swaps before where I totally did the wrong thing! No worries! Thanks for the rating!
Comment: Hi Nickalli! These are GREAT . . . I can't believe how well yours turned out and can't wait to use them in some of my own creations. You know, I love using my Gelli plate but, honestly, mine never turn out as nice at the ones I've received. You must have a big plate--I need to upgrade to a larger plate and buy some heavy body paint. I have a lot of the craft-type paints, too; they're just so affordable and the heavy body acrylics cost quite a bit. Thank you so much for all the great pages and I hope we swap together again soon~
Response: I’m so glad you liked them! My plate is the 8”x10” and I love it - although I often wish for a 12x12 size. I have good luck with the Liquitex Basics for a thicker paint that isn’t too pricey. Usually though, it’s Folk Arts at .50$! Swap with you soon, my friend!
Comment: Awww hey (ex) neighbor! You did such a good job with this, thank you so much! Did you hand letter the address or print a font? I’m actually impressed with either. Hahaha
Response: Glad you liked it, used a bunch of CTMH products from years ago! The address was hand lettered ;0) a faux style calligraphy. More drawing than lettering, but very fun! Thanks for the rating!!
Comment: Thank you for the pretty Icad. I love the orange and yellow cheery touch to the card. I am also trying to use what I have but I am getting addicted to the shimmering spray paint by Tattered angels. The brightly decorated envie was great.
Response: So happy you liked it! I love the shimmery stuff too - I usually end up sparkling for days though! Thanks for the rating and heart!
Comment: Hi Nickalli! Always such a pleasure to receive your work. Everything you send is just lovely and I adore this collage page. I can see all the layers you used; I just love it! BTW, I'm LOVING using my little notebooks you created for me--I'm using the one made with the seed packets and it brings me such joy every time I use it. Thanks for being a wonderful partner and I know EXACTLY what you mean about swapping with the same talented folks!
Response: So happy you liked the page!! And aregetting use from the notebooks! I used to have a hard time using my swap goodies - but finally realized as long as I keep joining swaps - more will come! Now I take great pleasure in using things and remembering who sent them! Swap with ya soon my friend!
Comment: First off- I love the envelope you sent this in! Love mixed media look! And then the embellishments were wonderful-all the little details! And thanks also for the little mini-kit to make more embellishments. Thanks for swapping and sharing!
Response: So happy you enjoyed everything! Thanks for the rating and heart! Happy crafting!
Comment: Well HoWdY twin from another decade....so fun and I LOVE the TRANQUIL postcard yes foggy overcast days we have had here in N. TX..... for awhile I would rather be in Tucson.....trade places for a bit? GREAT CARD thanks so much!!!!
Response: Sure! I’ll trade - I’m landlocked here and need water!! So glad you liked the card - hope to meet you in sb land again soon!
Comment: Wow Nickalli, you have made such a great collection of dog and dog-theme stamps! Each dog is so cute and bursting with personality. This is what good art is to me, full of whimsy and life. So thanks for the wonderful postcard :-)
Response: You are so welcome. Thanks for the generous comments it was a very fun year!!
Comment: This one is so cute! Luckily no snow here. Love the wintery cluster embellishments. I am hooked as well. made a bunch in a Fall theme and now will try the winter/Christmas ones. So much to play with and so little time...So much for thinking being retired would give me more time, lol!
Response: Hope you are enjoying retirement! Happy crafting and thanks for the heart and rating!
Comment: Nickalli, I LOVE this AJP! So much prettier than the one made by the tutor. You really have the knack of the mixed media art down pat. Love the colors you used, too. It's always a pleasure to receive your work and thanks, also, for the lovely journaling card!
Response: Aw, thanks my friend! So glad you liked it! Thanks for the rating and heart and looking forward to our next ones!
Comment: Oh, these are just so special! I'm in LOVE with the one with the vintage seed packets; you're right, the little shaking is so pleasant! And your paintchip book with the actual painted pages? Perfection! Love the little dangling charm you added. Your work is always so lovely ;+)
Response: Thanks so much, I'm so happy you liked them both - I was afraid they were too out-of-the-box!
Comment: Wow, Nickalli, I really love the colors you chose for these papers and the techniques you used to complete it. My favorite technique is the little bottle cap with white paint--that really adds some pizazz! Thanks so much.
Response: Thank you! I have loved the papers I've gotten back in return - this was a fun swap and I love using up my stash. Little circles make me smile!
Comment: I hear you gal! Mine is sitting on my desk getting ready to be sent. I am finding some of the videos too similar. Was just not feeling the love this time. Thanks for the Fall extras. I am working on a Fall junk journal and these items will go wonderfully with it.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful mail art, Nickalli! The tag is awesome, as are the extra spooky bits. Fall is on hold for a bit as we're waiting for a hurricane to hit us, but I hear there's coolness coming afterwards, so that's nice. 😄
Comment: Hi Nickalli! Your flipbook is really cute! LOVE the papers and embellishments you used--especially the one that looks like a vocabulary flash card--really special. So pretty and very polished. Thank you so much.
Comment: Love the journal page you made. That picture of the kids is neat. Love the colors and layering on this page. Those book pages you sent str amazing, I'll definitely use them. Great page and extras.
Comment: Awesome that you used your own stamps on this journal. Thanks for all the tags. The paper pad is quality paper! Thanks so much! My compassion daughter turns 21 this year. She will graduate out, and I've been her sponsor since she was 7, very emotional. I visited her on a sponsor trip in 2014.
Comment: Hi Nickalli and thank you so much for the amazing journal page! I love it! And I would never know that vintage is not your style as you captured it perfectly here. I especially love the beaded dangles at the top. Great images and composition as well. And thank you so much for the fun extra goodies you sent me! Cheers!
Comment: Hello! Thank you very much for the precious postcard. I think I've seen that carving before but I still like getting this postcard from you. I am actually having a lot of fun with that palm leaf I carved for you. I'm listening to the Jurassic Park and Lost World audio books and making ATCs with that stamp and thinking about jungles and dinosaurs. It's quite fun. Thanks again for the pc! XXO
Comment: This is great! love the colors and the quote!
We've been in the 90s. But we are in the path of the impending hurricane right now. At least it's cooling things off and it's going to be in the high 70s!
Comment: Hi Nickalli! You're right--there was DEFINITELY a learning curve to creating these. I had to make about 20 just to have enough to send! I thought yours turned out very nicely and I'll enjoy using them in my collage work ;+)
Comment: Nickalli: I got your leaf prints yesterday and they are wonderful! I never thought that some people might live in areas where they don't have a lot of trees like we do in Massachusetts, but the prints you made using grasses are just amazing! All of the prints are really great. Sometimes I feel like if I use someone else's work in a project of mine, it's cheating. But I will most definitely use your leaf prints!! Thanks for a great swap.
Comment: These sure are fun to make and receive...thanks and enjoy the last of the summer! PS just wanted to add that I am really loving the texture you got going on these! Like now Imma have to get the cheesecloth out... :D
Comment: Ahh!!! You did an absolutely STUNNING job on this card! It's one of my favorite so far...every one of these cards is so special...I love how everyone is watching the video, but making it their own. Fantastic job. Thank you so much!
Comment: Hi Nickalli. I'm so sorry I'm so late on rating you for this super cute PC. It' s great!
What kind of carving material do you use to be able to such detail? They are so good! Thanks!
Response: Thanks for the rating! I usually use Speedball peedy-cut blocks that I get from Blick -(tan color) it is soft, but tends to crumble. I also like the small white erasers from the $ store for quick little things. Most of the time I make one good one out of 3 tries!
Comment: Your birds came out better than my first try did! I am also a big fan of stamps ( also have way too many of them). Sounds like you had a lovely trip to Iceland you lucky gal! Thanks for a fun page!
Comment: Oh Nickalli 😮😄 WOW! I love your tea bags and what an inspiration for me (I've never made these before). I especially love the whole-bag one with the trees and colorful sky background, it is so gorgeous. Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for this perfect summer postcard, Nickalli! I like the contrast between your first stamps and the more intricate pineapple. I also associate summer with fruits because, as a child, I used to spend that season in my grandfather's orchard picking cherries and plums and apples. Have a cool summer and see you soon in the mail!
Comment: Hi Nickalli - your beautiful nature art journal page arrived today and I love it! Bees and butterflies are my thing and the little dictionary definition of "wing" is perfect. All your background elements go together so well - such a lovely page! Thanks for the extra goodies as well. Your comments about how much stuff you have made me smile! I figure every card I make costs me about $25! Oh well, I love it and am loving experimenting with the YTPC group. Cheers!
Comment: I love this card, has a vintage feel, and great elements added. I will add the hole, I am using a binder ring to hold them. They are haning on a hook in my craft room. Thanks for the wood buttons. Thanks for the beautiful decorated envie, too!
Comment: I love how your card looks! Even though you said you did things different than the video, it still looks like the other one. I think that is the whole idea. Thank you so much. I haven't been making the hole either for the same reason.
Comment: Hi Nickalli~ Your beautiful tassels arrived today! Yours turned out beautifully; I can wait to use them on journals. My absolute favorite is the one with the 'blues,' but I love them all. Iceland! How exciting! What a wonderful vacation to remember. Have a fun, memorable time!
Comment: Your simple mail art envie is BEAUTIFUL! I love all the elements you used to create it. It was such a nice touch to do the special handwriting on the front. Thank you for the lovely postcards and, most of all, for sharing a picture of your family--you are all beautiful!
Comment: Thanks for this dramatic swap! It's amazing that the back grounds are just as wonderful as the stickers, when you place them on black! Thanks too for the extra's to "play" with! Good luck with helping your mom downsize! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: How fun to swap with you....I also do much better with paper than quilting but enjoy learning to quilt. Thank you for the very nice 4X4 & the extras....Will place the ATC in my art journal. . Have a great summer.
Comment: Lovely choice and perfect presentation! I do like the one with the book page. I ended up making way more than required as well. So much fun, like chips you can't have just one! Thanks so much!
Comment: I don't know, if it is the first letter, or the resend. I got your great letter in a bigger UPS-letter, as it was ripped open. There was no note, only the letter (in case you sent a note too). It was wonderful to read, thank you! :-)
Comment: Wow . . you are good at this ;+) LOVED the boards you created and can't wait to use them in my projects. You gave me some wonderful ideas. I love your use of stencils and all the bright colors. Thank you so much and hope to swap together again soon!
Comment: Hello! I love the postcard you sent me! Thank you so much! I had been doing some painting but lately I'm back at the collage, stamping, mixed media-ing. But having fun. I can't believe how even and straight your stamping is. Mine would be all over the place. Perhaps that's what I need to be working on.LOL. Thanks again. I love it!
Comment: Nickalli, I received the package with your swap in it and was so pleased to get some happy mail. I really love the napkins you chose to send, and I appreciate you sending the lighter lining from the ones that showed up so well - that was like a double bonus! I have some project ideas that I'm eager to try these out on, like a book cover and maybe some coasters for a friend who entertains a lot and needs places for guests to put their drinks down. I've not tried them with napkins before, but these are so pretty that I just have to see if it will work out. Thanks for a special swap!
Comment: These are wonderful. Love the bit of lace on them and the velcro closures. Very pretty and will find a happy place in one of my journals! Thanks for sharing! It is finally spring here-we are supposed to get up to 74 today-heavenly except the wing is whipping around!
Comment: Hi there neighbor! We aren't that far away at all. Thank you for the wonderful Dex you made me! I LOVE it! I especially love the way you added the individual beans with the glossy accents - perfect! I actually have an old open style rolodex - couple of bucks at goodwill - that I store them on. It doesn't close at the top like some of them do. I also store some on a MemoryDex (Heidi Swap) that is also open. They work perfect for these sizes that we are swapping in the MemoryDex swaps. Also, thank you for the stickers for my personal planner!
Comment: How I love this image. I glue PCs and NC fronts into my health journal & write in it every day. The story you shared is sweet. I hope you are feeling better and know how it feels to be away from home when I am not feeling my best. Be well.
Comment: If I could rate you more than a 5 and a heart, I most certainly would! The two stamps (and, you said, other attempts...??) (above and beyond!) that you carved are amazing and I adore the multiple and varied images that you sent me. I hope hope hope that you like the stamps because I know that I will be using and highlighting the images for a while to come! Thank you so much for a wonderful and fun swap!
Comment: Well Hello again Nickalli :-) Your dog and dog-bone stamps ARE cute! Totally non-wolfish too. I'm no sketcher either; I'm a "draftsman" not a spontaneous sketcher, which is why I use clip art from Google Images as a source for most animal stamps I make. However, I usually More admire stamps carved with or without a drawing made by the stamp artist herself than ones made like I do by using a clip art image . . . . . Congratulations of your new puppy! Shih Tsu's are so cute!
Comment: I gave you a heart before I even opened it, the envelope was so beautiful! Thank you for the fun card too, so many layers! And hugs for the extra cards and tea, I will definitely think of you when I'm sipping it.
Comment: Hi and thank you for the really fun swap! Love your bird and your stitching is really unique as is your use of the lace. It all works together perfectly! And thanks for the extra goodies as well. Cheers! Laurie
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome postcard! I love all your hand carved stamped images -- they are very cool :) The last couple of days have been gorgeous and in the high 60s, but the rain will be back soon. I don't think I can choose one scary story that's a favorite -- but I'm currently reading My Swordhand is Singing by Marcus Sedgwick and it is very spooky/creepy! I hope it cools off for you soon!
Comment: ADORABLE!!! I love it! The colors, your style and THE BIRDS!! OMG! I love Tim Holtz crazy birds. Thank you so much for the awesome page to add to my journal. Here are some extra hearts â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Comment: Hi Nickalli, So nice to have you as partner again. Love the bookmark and all the junk journal goodies! I noticed you used a piece of American Airlines ticket from Medford OR!! That's really cool, our home town. I haven't been reading a lot of books recently, no time in our busy lives. When I do try to read, I fall asleep. LOL I'm going to be using your beautiful bookmark in my junk journal. Have a great day, and thanks again. <3
Response: My bookmarks usually end up in my junk journals or planners as well since most of my reading is digital. So glad you liked it, the ticket was from my summer trip home to visit ( my folks live in Crescent City) I love to fly in and out of Medord so I can eat at Jasper’s twice!! â¤ï¸ Thanks for the rating!!
Comment: Beautiful inside and out! Love your hand carved stamps used all over the envelope and your note. The page is wonderful, love the TH birds. Fantastic art! Thank you for the wonderful extras, what an awesome swap, you made my day! <3
Response: So glad you liked everything! Thank you for the kind words and rating!! â¤ï¸ðŸ˜
Comment: First I need to say your envelope is gorgeous and that stamp on it was so cool! I love that paper ... your page was very cool.. you have a really pleasing style...loved the big dreamy pumpkin and those clever letters! Thank you so much..your note was so interesting... I hope you are not getting that smoke right now ... my brother in oregon is seeing a lot of smoke and ash...ps your handwriting is really nice!

Response: So glad you enjoyed them! I'm thinking about doing another swap soon - I love seeing all the variety! Thanks for your rating and the heart â¤ï¸ ðŸ˜
Comment: This is the first swap I have received. The envelope was nicely decorated. Nickalli sent me stickers according to my interests. Thanks for giving me a great example of how to send my future packages!
Response: So glad you liked it - honored to be the first!! Hope you have many happy swaps for years to come! Thanks for the rating and the â¤ï¸
Comment: thank you for the beautiful ATC. I loved your technique. I totally did mine different from yours. Just goes to show that everyone is different and unique. Thank you also for the little envelope of extras. That was a nice surprise. Have a blessed day.
Response: Glad you liked it! I kinda felt I was going off technique a bit, but it still had the basic idea. So fun! Thanks for the heart and rating!! ðŸ˜
Comment: Nickalli, this is the prettiest envelope I have ever received! And your surprises just kept going and going! And, believe me, all will be used:) Thanks for such a lovely and thoughtful package.
Response: So very happy you enjoyed it all! Thank you for the rating and Happy Swapping! â¤ï¸
Comment: I usually send a note with my swaps too, but I like to have the swap tag, just in case (also helpful for the "senders choice" swaps that I put together before partners are assigned, that way I don't forget what they are). These are lovely, thank you so much! (Good luck with your 14 year old, it's been interesting our house)
Response: Glad you like and can use them! Teen drama here we come! ðŸ˜
Comment: thank you thank you for the AWESOMME swap!! I loved all the great stuff you sent from the cool mustache paper clip to the journal cards and cool page flags and stickers and labels. The enveloope was very cute and I love your handwriting. thank you for the great swap
Response: So glad you enjoyed everything! I was hoping we had similar tastes and a love for planner stuff! ðŸ˜
Comment: Giving away hearts has become almost habitual - wish there was a way to smother this rating with a humongous flashing heart. Loved your watercolour envelope and washy selections. Thank-you. I will play it forward.
Response: So glad you like it - such a fun swap! Thanks for the rating and heart!! Happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the happy mail swap! It was lovely to receive such a colourful handmade envelope. I especially like the pink flower postcard and the shooting star rainbow stickers :) I enjoyed reading your letter, too. Thank you! P.S. Good luck with your transition from f/t to p/t work!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it all - that was a fun one to put together! Thanks so much for the rating and wishes! Happy swapping!
Comment: So much fun that you packed into my pc, thanks so much! Do you still have your dolls house? Mine has become a bit more of a plaything for my great nieces than a grown up project but we have lots of fun with it!
Response: Glad you liked it! I do still have a dollhouse, but not the one I built. That one ended up going to a very sweet girl we lived next door to 15 years ago. I do miss it at times!
Comment: Loved your post card--such a cute bird and pretty flowers. The colors and the poem were a nice touch too! Nope, still lots of rain here, but the flowers and trees are blooming anyway. I lived in Phoenix in the 1950's and loved it when the desert bloomed.
Response: Thank you for your kind words, rating and heart! I enjoyed doing those - so much fun!! I'll try and send some sunshine your way!
Comment: I loved all the washi you sent, including the neon 80's ones, lol. Although you are correct, I'm usually not a fan of that style, my love of washi overcomes everything else 😊 Plus, since I usually use my washi to decorate envelopes, it will all be put to good use and go to a loving home! The mushrooms are definitely my favourite though â¤ðŸ„â¤
Response: So glad you liked and can use it all! Thanks for the rating and heart! Happy swapping ðŸ˜â¤ï¸
Comment: Thank you for the aptly described "creative canvas" and for all the thoughtful extras, especially the cartoon pages & those cool Icelandic stamps. The USPS sure takes its sweet time with delivery these days!
Response: So glad it finally made it's way to you! Happy swapping! 😠Thanks for rating and the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful envelope filled with fantastic items. I really appreciate the variety you included. You also have very pretty handwriting and the picture was a very neat touch. So interesting to see who the items came from!
Response: Aww, thanks! You are too sweet, I'm glad you enjoyed your envie! I was happy to find a use for our unsent Christmas card photos! ðŸ˜â¤
Comment: Wow! What a fabulous envelope you decorated. You must've read my profile! - Love the grape theme note-card - I've never seen that, nor has anyone ever sent me any grape theme items. Love the washi samples you sent - and the extras! - Again, in designs I've never seen. Thank you for everything - Have a magical swap day.
Response: So happy you liked it all!! That was my first time sending out so many - but so much fun!! Thanks for the heart and the rating! Happy swapping! ðŸ˜
Comment: Thank you so much for the washi tape and the card as well. I love the little rooster washi! It is so cute. I don't know why it took so long to arrive (I can tell by the post date that it took 10 days to arrive!), but I am just glad it did.
Response: So glad it made it finally! And that you liked it!! 😊 Thanks for the rating, the heart, and your patience!!
Comment: I l o v e the tags you sent! Thank you so much! I need to practice my writing again like I did when I was a kid. I used to have pretty writing but I have allowed age and a get it done in a hurry attitude take a toll on it. Yours is so pretty!
Response: Thanks so much for the kind words! I try to practice writing often, but still have so far to go when I see what true calligraphers are able to do! I love dip pens, they slow me down and make me think about the letters as I write them. Thanks for the rating and the heart!!
Comment: Hi Nickalli :-) Thanks for sending such a cool postcard with your bird stamp. It looks great! I haven't carved many animal stamps because I'm so into geometric themes, but I love and admire the animal stamps of others very much. Yours has inspired me to try making a flying bird rather than a standing one.
Response: Thanks for the kind words! I'm so glad you liked the card. :0) Happy New Year!

Comment: Hello and thanks for the great postcard. You said you like the owl stamp the best and I was looking all over for the owl and thought one of us was going crazy. LOL - then there is was right in front of my face - on the business side. LOL. I like them all but the owl is nice! Thanks again and thanks for joining the swap!
Response: Thanks for the heart! Love when things hide in plain sight! Looking forward to our next swap - I'm sure we'll run into each other again!
Comment: Oh such a pretty envie: that shiny black sticker on that pretty orange background just pops and thank you for the fun stuff. ...such pretty handwriting too! On the back of the envie there is a spider. We just had a tarantula cross our property and I got to pick it up. I like spiders but that was scary. It was a treat not a trick.:)
Response: So glad you liked it! Had a great time with this swap :0) Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for your wonderful postcard which I found waiting for me when returning from my holidays yesterday. Loved the colors of the artwork you did. Red is my favourite color :) Didn't know the quote. It was nteresting though. I am going to look it up! Xx Nina
Response: Thank you for the kind words and the heart! Glad you like it :0)
Comment: Thanks for the letter Nickalli. What a lovely tradition. I, too, like to use Christmas as a time to think of others less fortunate than myself and not just caught up in what presents I want to get and give. I hope when I have children one day to remember to pass on this tradition you have begun!
Comment: Wow!!! I'm so happy, I had to take a pause before even beginning to type this rating just because I couldn't find a fantastic enough way to show my gratitude for such a wonderful gift you've sent my way! This swap was wonderful! Everything is lovely, and to take the time to hand craft a personalized stamp for me, I don't have words! Thank you so very much! It really made my day! Growing up as a kid I always would look for my name on those little racks of keyrings, or cups etc. at pit stops or gas stations when traveling, and was always sad when I couldn't find my name! (Of course over time I realized my name wasn't so common lol) But it's the thought! When I saw your stamp I instantly recalled those instances, and thought to myself, I've finally found one! Something with my own name, just for me ^_^ Thank you thank you thank you! A million hearts and hugs and jumping jacks because when I'm happy I can't stand still lol
Response: Awww, thank you! I'm so glad it made you happy! I grew up with the exact same problem and know exactly the feelings you are talking about. I think that is a big reason I became a crafter - I wanted my stuff to stand out and be different if I couldn't have what all the other kids had. Thanks for the heart, and I hope we meet up again in swapbot land! :0)
Comment: Can I just give you a dozen hearts? I can't believe how amazing the chef bear stamp is! And good job to your son for picking such a perfect image. It is so me. I sent you some of my images to peruse. You should get it soon. :)
Response: Thanks so much for the heart and kind words! I can't wait to see what you sent!! I'm still pretty new at this carving thing.
Comment: WOW WOW WOW is all I can say. I haven't been spoiled this well for a loooong time, girl. I ADORE this envie. Gorgeous lettering sample. If I could letter like you I would never buy a stamp/rub-on/label maker again. Are you SERIOUS? A top-hatted giraffe stamp? You are amazing. I have always wanted a Dylusions stencil. As IF you send a brand NEW one...you are so incredibly generous. I love all the bits, especially the hand made postcard sized masterboard/collage. Wonderful mixed media detail. I am beyond impressed with this swap. Is the beaded embellishment handmade too? You are incredible, Nickalli!
PS: Totally okay to mention Amy in your profile. I haven't copywritten that idea! The more happy carriers in the world, the better.
Response: Oh, I'm so glad you liked your package! I admit, I went to view your profile and saw all the comments/ratings others had left for you and knew I wanted to spoil you with this one! I love helping the karma fairy out when I can! So, enjoy it all, it is well deserved! And thanks for the warm fuzzies! ;0)
