Comment: Thanks so much for a lovely card! Such lovely handwriting, smashing stamps and hilarious story. I wish everyone got cards like this, haha..
Response: Oh I am so happy you enjoyed my card this much - I try to add more than just a lame "quote" or the like when I mail out mail as I want to make it worth the effort and stamp - we want to make the person we are sending to smile, right?! :) Take care and thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for for not 2 but 4 awesome postcards! I loved each and everyone of them. All new to me. Thanks and good luck with your hospital stay! Hope you feel better soon! Sending hugs and kisses.
Response: You are welcome - seems silly to mail only two when you can send four for the same postage. :) I am home from the hospital - just getting stronger each day. Have a great day!
Comment: Thank you very much for all of these nice postcards! That's the second swap from you which was in my mailbox today :) I especially like postcards with a dog and with beautiful view of a floral field with a lake and mountains in the background. You also have such a lovely polar bear sticky notes and cacti washi. Again ~ Have a nice day!
Response: You are welcome - I "cleaned up" my craft room and can't find my polar bears... yikes! I'll have to look for them again soon. :) Have a great day!
Comment: Hasn't this weather been insane?! But it figures... It's cool and drizzling during the week then in the 90s on the weekend when we're doing construction on the house. Pretty sure our weather is drunk.
Comment: What a lovely card, I love your handwriting too! You put a "soul" to the card with your writing, thank you! I wish you have found your sleep and you made it through the busy week!.Have a good May! Cheers!
Response: You are welcome. If I am sending out a note, I want it to be personal and share a piece of me, rather than just a "hello there" or a random quote. I have found some sleep, thank you - now I just need earplugs for my hubby's snoring, heehee. Take care!
Comment: Thanks for the POTUS card, Cherise! I applaud your Earth Day efforts--some of those finds are quite yucky for sure, though I sure wonder what was in the safe you found and how/why it got there! When I was a teenager I worked cleaning movie theaters overnight on the weekends-it was crazy some of the things we'd find-but cash they let us keep.
Response: You are welcome. The safe had no door, so no clue what could have been inside, but I'd like to dream it was diamonds and gold bullion! :) That's nice they let you keep the cash while cleaning up at work! Take care!
Comment: Cherise, thank you for the interesting postcards that spelled APRIL. It must be something in the air, as I have had a hard time sleeping lately. I have been up at all odd hours reading. Shirley
Response: You are welcome - hope you have found some sleep - I should read... that used to put me to sleep, which is better than surfing the internet! :) Take care!
Comment: migraines are the worst. hope you are feeling better. The chills is another sign of dehydration.
Response: Thank you for the kind words - migraines are gone but I had 5 nights of acid reflux and not much sleep - egads, getting "old" is for the birds. :) I am trying to drink more water - today I think I had 10 glasses (my poor bladder - ha!). Have a great weekend!
Comment: I love this Mickey and friends postcard so much. Thank you! I haven't been back to Florida since I went to Epcot when I was 8, but I hope to go back one day!
Response: I am glad you liked the card. I did not make it to Epcot - we were in Florida for 2 weeks but didn't do too much touristy stuff, just mostly visited family. I hope to go one day though. Have a great weekend!
Comment: I want to go to a Halloween sale and event!!! I don't see why Halloween can't be all year long! Thanks for the cards - love the cat one - am using it right now to send a note to my aunt - she has 3 cats!
Response: I agree, we ought to celebrate all year long! We did not find much at the sale but it gave me a reason to dress up as a pirate...not that I need a reason, really! Have a great day!
Comment: Hi Cherise! Thank you for the awesome pcs you picked for me! I hope you did not have sun poisoning, as that is never fun! We have not really had spring happen much here yet, so... Not looking forward to 90's but would enjoy the 70s! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: You are welcome. I finally felt better after 3 days - ooh how I am lazy about putting on sunscreen. *sigh. Today it was chilly and windy - strange weather for So Cal!
Comment: I love the postcards, thank you! I'm so sorry about your pen, I use fountain pens myself and I love them. I just got some new ink i am trying, and it bleeds way more than I expected, but it's shiny! Take care.
Response: You are welcome. Ooh, shiny ink? That sounds intriguing!
Comment: Thank you for the great cards and note. I got some postcards ready to mail today then took them to the postal annex where they have the last pick-up of the day at 6:30PM. I am cat sitting 2 cats for my Granddaughter until they figure out what she is going to do. So I have 3 to keep me company for now.
Response: You are welcome - sounds like you have lots of kitty love around you! Have a great day.
Comment: Thank you for the awesome swap! I loved your envelope and how you added sayings to the cat stickers. Also, great cat things you gave me. I love them! Thanks for joining my swap. See you around!
Response: You are welcome - thanks for hosting! Have a beautiful day!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely dogs pc! I hope your over your cold & so sorry to hear about your friend! Amazing how we take tomorrow for granted! I agree tell those you love daily cause you never know if it'll be your last chance or theirs to hear you say it. Be well mz. Cherise. Happy Spring!
Response: You are welcome. I am going to yet another funeral tomorrow (3rd one in 2 weeks!) - yes, we certainly do take time for granted. I hope you are well - give hugs to those around you today! :)
Comment: Thank you for the coyote postcard! We have them up here in Northern California where I live. Occasionally I will see them in the hills or even just a couple streets away from where I live in the open fields. Always love when I catch sight of one...from a distance haha. Thanks again for the card and your note too!
Response: You are welcome - yes, from a far is the way I like to see them too! :)
Comment: That's a great lighthouse card, Cherise --thanks very much! Hope your kitty is better!
Response: You are welcome - glad you liked the card. Muffin kitty must be feeling better, I caught her on the top of a 6 foot tall bookcase! She still has her cone of shame on her head but is feeling much better, thanks!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard - I like it! I hope your cat is feeling better now!
Response: You are welcome. My kitty is feeling better, just hoping she doesn't need another sx for another abscess; the cats are going crazy looking out the windows, dreaming of being outside, but NO MORE! :)
Comment: Thanks for the Route 66 card. I never got to stay in the
teepees, but there's one in a state park here that you can rent for camping. So I did! Sorry to hear about your kitty--mine had surgery last month (breast cancer) but is doing well. But in order to get her to eat her meds, I mixed them in with pudding, so now I have to give her a little dab of pudding each evening. At least she doesn't demand home made pudding.
Response: I think it would be interesting to sleep in a teepee - not much different than a tent I imagine, other than it's taller! Sorry to hear about your kitty, hope she is doing better. My kitty is now addicted to tuna (that's how I get her to eat her meds!). :)
Comment: Happy Birthday & I hope you have fun at the LA Arboretum.
Response: Thank you - we did not end up going to the Arboretum as I came down with a nasty cold/flu and am still suffering from it... hopefully this goes away soon and hopefully I can go see the peacocks!
Comment: Love the card hope your cat is doing well 😊😊
Response: I'm glad you liked the card. Muffin is healing from her first abscess but I fear she may need a second surgery and drain put in for another bite I found...poor kitty! The cats are going crazy not being allowed to go outside any more!
Comment: Thank you so much for your cute envelope, lovely words and of course the wonderful postcards inside! These scavenger hunts are my fave too! I love going through my postcard boxes to find the ones :) Happy swapping!
Response: You are welcome - glad you enjoyed them. Have a wonderful day!
Comment: Love the card, and thanks for the nice note. If you are in Yuma again, and if you haven't already found it, try Julianna's Garden Restaurant. doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is great and the restaurant itself it delightful. Happy swapping!
Response: I plan to go to Yuma again next year, so hopefully I will remember to check them out - I looked them up online! I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Comment: I love the card! I was born and raised in Long Beach, and thankfully the cost wasn't as high as it is now so going often was much easier. I would never be able to afford it now. Next time you go, ride Big Thunder Mountain for me, would ya? ♥
Response: I always ride Big Thunder (I love roller coasters but now I am SO MOTION SICK every time I go on rides - egads!). Take care!
Response: West Side Story was good; the next week I saw Madagascar on stage, a college Lip Sync production called Puttin on the Hits and I went to the Pasadena International Film Festival - I've been filling my culture meter this month! :)
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard from New Orleans. I live pretty close to Simi Valley. I hope that you enjoyed the play. Happy Birthday.
Response: You are welcome. The play was pretty good, although we could not hear the singing over the orchestra... that's what we get for sitting two rows behind the live orchestra, ha! Have a great day!
Comment: hello Cherise -- thanks for the card of the natural bridge. I love visiting the Southwest and have seen a few of those in person, though not this unusual double. I encourage you to make the trip some day -- southern Utah is spectacular. Best, al
Response: You are welcome. I have been to Zion in Utah (only two days though) - I hope to go back to see more of the National Parks there, and across the US. Take care!
Comment: Hi Cherise!
Thanks for sending me a bit of 'home' !! I love the colorado PC!! :)
Girl.. I LOVE THRIFT SHOPS! *Sigh* Also love Antique shops... but my wallet doth protest! HAHAH!!
Hope you had a great time!! I think you and I would get along great!
Response: Oh my gosh, my wallet doesn't go far in antique shops, but sometimes you just *have* to pick up a trinket or card or 20... ha! Take care!
Comment: Thank you very much for the wonderful selection of stickers! 💖 Wow, so many frozen stickers! :D Love the flower and teddy bear sticker sheets but other stickers look fun as well â¤ï¸ I enjoy reading about your day at the beach💛 I also went to the sea near my house a few weeks ago and had a lovely day while i was there :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the card. It is absolutely adorable, and I love the postcards and stickers too. I can tell you really tried to find things I would enjoy and I appreciate you so much for that ♥ How was Oklahoma?
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely note cards you sent me. I love the "Peacocks", "bird & butterflies" and "kitty" note cards. They match my profile perfectly! I appreciate the little note from you...and making me smile.
Comment: I absolutely LOVE the PC that you created for me. Such a beautiful photo! I also have to tell you that I'm completely jealous of your weather right now. Supposedly the south is supposed to be warm and sunny, lately we've had snow and ice! I need to move your way! lol
Response: I'm glad you liked the card - my husband said, "can you mail that through the mail?!" Sorry about the snow and ice - yesterday I spent the day in the sun at the beach - oops, may be time to move to warmer climate! Take care and keep warm!
Comment: Thank you thank you, my regular swap partner!!! : ) I couldn't be happier! These are great - and the little dog is so precious!!!! You haven't sent me any duplicates that I know of - and even so that would be just fine. It's amazing how few doubles I've received considering how many postcard swaps I've done! Glad you had a nice visit!!!!!! xxx
Response: You are welcome; thought the dog card would be perfect for you! Yes, great visit with family - too short of a visit, but so nice after so many years. Take care and enjoy your day!
Comment: I LOVE this PC! Thanks so much! I believe in pet adoption, so many homes are needed! I bet Oliver is a cutie! = ) ♥
Response: I'm glad you liked the card - Oliver is certainly an adorable kitten, but for 2 days now he's not been himself... I hope he can shake whatever is going on, like his "brother" Romeo did last week. I hope you have a nice day!
Comment: Hope your cat is ok. Love all the profile related cards that you sent me. Thank you!!!
Response: You are welcome - I always try to send things I believe my partner would like! Romeo kitty is doing great, but now our youngest kitten,Oliver, is sick... same symptoms which is odd... ah, to be the "mama" to these babies can be nerve wracking! I hope all is well with you!
Comment: Great PCs for this swap! I think these will be fun. I, too, like the scavenger hunt ones or swaps like these where you have to search out specific PCs. Thanks again for the great selection and hope to see you in more swaps in the future ~~~
Response: You are welcome - glad you enjoyed the cards. Hope you are feeling well today and even better tomorrow! Take care!
Comment: Wow this has really taken a long time - combination of random slowness and me being away - but hurray for its arrival! V impressed by your collection of weird washis though, and thank you so much for sending Edward Gorey cards, j'adore :)
Response: You are welcome - I had never heard of washi until I joined Swap-bot... now I own close to 100 different ones... yeah, I get obsessed with things, heehee. Take care and have a great day!
Comment: Fun PCs. Thanks. I hope you are enjoying the rain...and that your cat is doing all right.
Response: You are welcome - it was supposed to rain the last couple of days again but alas, no rain, only blue skies! *sigh* Romeo is much better, thank you; now our baby kitten Oliver is sick... ah, what's a parent to do? Take care and have a nice day.
Comment: Thank you!!! You always send me the best postcards and notes!! We had a frigid and snowy early part of the week but it hit 40 today so everything melted yay!! Enjoy your rain! : ) And good luck with the job you're interested in! xx
Response: I'm glad you liked the cards - ooh, 40 degrees!! I was up until 3 am last night job searching... this is taking over my "free time" but hoping time off at my current job helps relieve some of the stress! Take care and keep warm!
Comment: This was fun, love the cards. Hope the kitty is ok, my persian crossed the rainbow bridge a week ago.
Response: I'm glad you liked the cards. Romeo is 100% again but now our tiny kitten is showing the same symptoms... he is less than 4 pounds so I hope he can pull through this (Romeo is 15 pounds!). Take care and I am sorry for the loss of your Persian. *hugs*
Comment: I just had you as my parter for the Cover My Envelope swap! :D So fun to receive from you. I hope you're finally getting as much rain as we've had! El Nino is soaking us today. Thank you for all the wonderful ephemera and gorgeously decorated envelope. Pretty flowers everywhere, right now to the postage stamp! Loved it.
Response: Hello and I'm glad you liked your envie! We have had a little rain here and there - today we have blue skies although cold temperatures! Have a wonderful new year and hope you don't get too soggy!
Comment: Once again, I really love the postcards you picked for me!!!! We have been lucky and it has been mild here so far!! But, January and February are coming and I doubt this luck will last!! I hate winter. I'm a summer girl!! Have a great holiday and stay warm! xxx
Response: I'm happy you liked your cards! I am a summer girl too ~ getting down to the 40's here in So Cal is crazy... I'm in sweats, fuzzy socks, 3 blankets and 4 kitties... oh well, I'll make it through! :) Have a lovely new year!
Comment: Thank you Cherise for the Winter Wonderland - "Soft Solitude" postcard view of heavy snow covered houses, evergreens, of Big Bear Lake, CA. Liked the snowflakes postal cancel on the postage stamp. Wow, that is a big change of scenery & climate for your friends to move from BB, CA to FL, hope they enjoy it here. Happy Holidays & Happy December!
Response: You are welcome ~ I thought it was a lovely card. My Big Bear friends make the neatest holiday card that looks like an old fashioned movie poster announcing their last Christmas in Big Bear and it made me sad, but I am sure they will appreciate being able to leave the house without having to shovel snow! :) Take care and have a great new year!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful pcs, I love them all. The bee one. Is super awesome, indeed! I hear you on the family dinners, now that all us cousins are grown up we don't have many big family dinners at Christmas anymore. I miss them from when I was yonger. Merry Christmas!
Response: You are welcome - glad I could make you smile! I too love the bees; just wouldn't want them on my face! Hope your Christmas is nice this year!

Response: Yeah! I am always happy to make someone smile! Glad you liked the selection I sent to you. I hope you have a lovely day!
Comment: Thank you so much for the card. Oliver sounds like a handful...is he sharing any better yet? I really loved the postcards you included. The Sitting Bull card is one I had seen pictures of on postcrossing and always wanted, so it was an awesome surprise <3 Merry Christmas!
Response: You are welcome and glad the liked the PCs. Oliver is not much better but I told my husband we need to keep up with the squirt bottle of water to teach him "no"! :) Have a great Christmas!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! :) We also have a houseful of furry ones - 3 cats and 1 dog ( all rescued) :)
Loved reading your profile :) glad to hear you like going to Ren Faires and such IN COSTUME ( as do we! ) So much fun! We are also cards and board game players :)
Response: You are welcome! We certainly have a lot in common! :) I dream of a day when I have free weekends again (not always at work!) and can go play at Faire! *sigh* I hope your furry friends are well and that the New Year brings great things to you!
Comment: Thank you for the postcards and lovely letter. I hope you're feeling better by now!
Response: You are welcome. I'm on week 4 of being sick - on antibiotics that I just found out I'm allergic to, so now I have hives - yikes! I'm hoping 2016 is a good year of health for us all! Take care!
Comment: Congrats on the new kitty!!!! Sounds precious!! Amazing postcards - thank you! I love the Japanese garden!! And bicycles, yay!!! Glad you joined - thanks so much!!!!! xx
Response: You are welcome and thank you for the nice note. Oliver is fun - very loving but man, he's SO BAD with his food aggression; I hope we can break him of that habit! Glad you liked the cards and I hope your day is amazing!
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely selection of postcards! Loved them. Hope Oliver is slowly getting along well with the bigger babies!!
Response: You are welcome for the cards! Oliver is sitting on my arm as I type this and he is getting along well with Yoda and Romeo - Muffin will tolerate him now, but still won't play with him. Take care and have a great holiday!
Comment: Thank you so much for all the cute cards, neighbor! Have you found the geocaches in the Rancho Cucamonga senior center bushes? they are a lot of fun
Response: You are welcome! I have found many out there as I used to work at the Senior Center and would go out there on my lunch breaks, 4+ years ago! I have not been out recently... just too busy working all day long now at the animal shelter! :) Have a great day!
Comment: Thanks for the wonderful PCs that all fit my profile! I love the stamps you put on the outside of the envie as well! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry PS: Watching the wildlife is a big part of why we live here!!! Hope you are feeling better soon!
Response: You are welcome - glad you enjoyed them! Hope you see some amazing animals this winter and I'm feeling better... on week 4 of being sick, so I think I'm almost done - whew! Take care!

Response: You are welcome ~ glad you liked your envelope! I hope your holidays are lovely as well. Take care!
Comment: Thanks for the pc's that suit my profile very well. I love those 2 spots in Santa Barbara, have visited Colmar France and really enjoy the art on the owl pc. Sorry for you trip to ER - sure hope you are doing better by now.
Response: You are quite welcome and glad to send something you would enjoy. I'm feeling better - now just a cough, stuffy head and headache... so about 65% better I'd say. *grin* Take care and have a great day!
Comment: Thanks for the Poudre Tunnel card in CO :)
Sounds like your yard was awesome for Halloween too!! Halloween is my abso fav holiday EVER!
Response: You are welcome. Yes, this was our best Halloween ever this year - 42 partiers, good food, drinks and lots of happy trick or treaters who love to see how I decorate each year! Hope your holiday was great too!
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful Vienna PC! I hope you do the Nightmare Before Christmas yard decoration, I would love to see that :D
Response: You are welcome for the card. My friend and I started on NBC decor but then I got sick, then she got sick, then it rained and the wind knocked down all of the gravestones and Christmas tree... so back to square one! My friend is making a PVC Jack and his head out of papermache - can't wait to see it and work on it, once we are both healthy! Take care and have a great day!
Comment: Lovely postcard. Enjoyed hearing about your kitty family.
Response: Glad you liked the card and right now we are fostering a tiny kitty - I want to adopt Oliver, but my husband says that 3 cats are enough - ha, that's what he gets for marrying a woman who works at the animal shelter, heehee. Take care and happy meows to you!
Comment: Thanks for the postcards! It's such a coincidence, I was just in sanfrancisco with my family and we went to the same place! The most photographed tree, aquarium...Infact just got back tonight from the U.S!
Response: You are welcome! I need to go back to San Fran to see more but the 6-8 hour drive is a killer and it's just a bit too "touristy" there for my taste, but I love to look out and watch the sea lions for sure! Hope your trip was great!
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing these with me and your story! it's a very precious thing. I totally and truly enjoyed this swap. I think sender's choice is from this point of view the best there can be! and also thank you for making each photo a card!
Response: You are welcome - so glad you enjoyed the photo cards and I would much rather share a piece of me, who I am and what I feel/see/experience rather than something cold or "not honest". Life is too short not to enjoy and share your true self. Have a spectacular day!
Comment: Absolutely smashing pix. Especially loved the one of the statue from Paris. [The fantasy is almost always better than the reality :) ] Loved the composition and black and white choice of them all. Cheers!
Response: I am glad you liked the photos and I appreciate the feedback. Yes, so many things in life are like that - the fantasy is more exciting than the reality! Take care and have a fun day!
Comment: Thank you for the bright postcard. I agree with you about heat...don't like too much. It's been warmer here on Vancouver Island than previously but starting to cool a bit. Oh, thx for the conure parrots on the pc. I have one, too!
Response: You are welcome; I sent the card to you as I thought of anyone, you would appreciate it! Weather is finally cooling down here in Southern California - I actually am wearing a sweatshirt - woohoo! Take care and have a terrific day!
Comment: Hi Cherise! How fun that you want to visit other places with an Ontario! I need to see if I did that were all there is a Waterloo - you have maybe started a bucket list thing for me! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping, and traveling! ;)
Response: I am sure you kind find plenty of Waterloos out there - I googled and found, right off the bat, Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin - so your bucket list has begun! *grin* Take care and have a wonderful day!

Response: You are welcome; glad you liked the cards. My anniversary was nice - always nice to spend time with my best friend. Have a lovely day!
Comment: Cherise ~ Thank you so much for the great PCs. . . I love them all!!! I'd give you more hearts if I could and I wish I could say I have a favorite but they are all so good that I can't pick one. . . or even two. Thanks again and happy swapping ~~
Response: Yeah! I'm glad you liked the cards - thank you for the heart and kind words. Have an amazing day!
Comment: Oh, what awesome postcards!!! Thank you! I hope you have a blast in Florida! I was in Naples last month. I love Florida - so much to do no matter where you are! Hope the house troubles are fixed soon. It certainly can be a pain to own a house at times! You have the prettiest handwriting too!! Enjoy your vacation!! xoxo
Response: You are welcome - glad you liked them. We have no plans other than to see family and grab Geocaches - I probably should brush up on Florida to see if there is something I *must* see or do there! Pipes are still holding up... just keeping fingers crossed until after vacation! Take care and have a fun day!
Comment: Well, that's definitely a weird and creepy card. That must be an interesting book of postcards--the mythical beings series? Or just unsettling images.
Thank you for sending the weirdness my way.
Response: You are welcome and yes, I love this "odd" book of cards - and I got it as a fluke for only 99 cents... I should have bought the whole case! Have an awesome day!
Comment: Now I want French fries! :P
Thank you for the postcards, they were a good variety, some were actually quite interesting. I really liked the rubber stamps you used, airmail washi, and nice little note! Have a dandy day~*
Response: You are welcome - I am having a very warm day here in SoCal! I'm glad you liked the variety - hope you can use one or two! Take care!
Comment: I love art museums too, however I'm sure I'll never get to the Louvre--lucky you to have been! Thank you for the very pretty postcard. :o)
Response: You are welcome. Never say never - I said I would never get married and look at me now - about to celebrate my 3 year wedding anniversary in September! Yes it took me until I was 41 to do it, but am so glad and lucky I did. Take care and have a wonderful day!
Comment: I love art galleries and art walks are even better! This is a great card. I'm trying to figure out if that is fused glass, paint or something completely different. Thanks so much!
Response: You are welcome - there used to be a glassblowing/jewelry/stained glass gallery that I went to a few times... maybe that was a card from there? I don't recall, but all I know is that I wish I was artistic, not just "crafty"! *grin* Take care and enjoy the day!
Comment: Thank you so much for the great postcard. That does sound like some kind of trip the first time lol.
Response: You're welcome! This year we are taking a plane trip (our first one together) to Florida and are renting a car... wonder what sort of mischief we can get into in a new state!?! Take care and have a great day!
Comment: Thank you for the cards, Cherise -- good choices all. The monkey chef is hilarious! I've seen the original of that Dali painting at the Dali Museum in St Petersburg, just a couple of hours up the road from here. The girl is his sister.
P.S. Great washi tape on your envie!
Response: I'm glad you liked the cards and that the monkey made you laugh! I adore Dali so much ~ I just wish I spoke/read French better when I visited his museum in Paris. Good to know that was his sister - thank you for the info! Have a great day!
Comment: Squeeeeeeeeeeeeel! I love, love, love this postcard!!! I'll keep it forever. There's just something about the little Kokopellli guy that really gets to me. You are so kind to send it to me! Thanks so much.
Response: I am glad I made you happy - have a beautiful day!
Comment: Thank you so much for the amazing cards you sent for this swap. While you are experiencing drought, we are have one of the rainiest summers I can ever remember. Thunder is rumbling and the sky is getting ready to let loose even as I write this. The weather is really whackadoodle. I hope you soon have some relief from the hot dry days.
Response: You are welcome. We are so "dry" here we can only water 2x a week, so everything is DYING in my yard. I'm trying to keep my citrus trees going though... sorry your weather is crazy too. Take care.
Comment: Hi, Thanks so much for the lovely ephemera/smash bits - I love each one. Perfect choices for me. If you ever want to do a private swap of ephemera bits - let me know. I'm always looking for new swappin' buddies!
Response: You are welcome - glad I hit the nail on the head for you. I love to collect bits of this and that - my friends think I'm nutty, but it's okay, I just call myself "creative"! I love your Flicker page - you have lovely images and creations! Have an amazing day!
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard and the wonderful story about your family observatory. My first job out of college was working on a satellite, an orbiting astronomical observatory called Copernicus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orbiting_Astronomical_Observatory
Response: Wow, very interesting! I don't know if this link would work for you, but someone recently posted an old article about the Observatory and my relative that built it. I am glad you liked the postcard and I hope you have an incredible day! Take care! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=846527878758843&set=gm.934600776590609&type=1&theater
Comment: All the islands have get away nature spots. I suggest Kauai for chill vibes and hiking. I don't know about geocaching here... I am partial to Maui, the N. And E. Sides are chill. Hana on Maui is chill. The big island, if you want to see the volcano is also chill. Thanks for the PC!
Response: Thank you for the Hawaii advise! I think my friend told me about Kauai recently and her family lives there too, so they like to play tour guide... if I make it over there, er, WHEN I make it over there, I'll have to contact my friend's uncle for sure! *grin* Take care and have a great day!
Comment: thankyou for the beautiful pc. Here it is rainy and we have to find ways to keep ourselves warm. Sometimes when it rains continuously i get irritated but otherwise the weatheris good :)hope there may be good showers there soon :)
Response: Wow, I wish it was cold here! We got a few showers - not enough to do much more than get our car windows spotted, but the water was welcomed! Take care!
Comment: Cherise thank you for the great postcards, especially the lighthouse ones. We have bee in the high 90's for 14 days now and no relief in sight. I guess I am fortunate to have air conditioning. Shirley
Response: I'm glad you liked the cards - 90's here this week so far... wish I could go to work in my bathing suit - ha; that would scare away the customers though! Take care and keep cool!
Comment: Loved the postcard! It's been hot and humid here, along with thunderstorms in the afternoons most days. Daughter loved the cat - said it was a very silly kitty!
Response: Heehee, yes, a silly cat indeed (of course, for the most part, cats ARE silly critters!). Hope your humidity gets better - I'd love a thunderstorm once in a while here - but not sure about being "muggy" all the time! Take care!
Comment: Merci beaucoup for all the lovely French themed items - and you're right, though I don't ordinarily like post-its, these Paris ones are marvelous! Love the old Miami photos, too and such fun washi & rub-ons. Amazing stamping on the envie, especially those huge pocket watches! You created a fantastic swap!
Response: I'm glad you liked the package - I wanted to make sure there was a mix of this and that and that and this! *grin* Have a wonderful day!
Comment: Cherise, thank you for the old time postcard of a hotel. I am glad I did not live way back when. I understand where you are coming from about people who don't know about the need to restrain from over water use. Shirley
Response: You are welcome and thank you for the heart! Have a gorgeous day!
Comment: Thank you for the awesome Postcard! I love the Darth Vader and Son series!! And it's so awesome how much of a Star Wars Nerd you are!! Do you ever get a chance to go to the conventions?
Response: You are welcome - I love the series of cards too (Barnes and Noble if you are looking for them!). I had wanted to go to the convention that was local but due to work I never have weekends free. All of my nerdy friends went though, so I saw lots of photos from the weekend! Take care and May the Force be with you, always!
Comment: Hi Cherise. What a fun swap - keeping with a rainbow theme and each pc totally different. My favorite is Rainbow Row. A million thank you-s for the extra pc of Suzy's Zoo - it is adorable. I got out my magnifying glass to study the picture to make sure I didn't miss anything. I love it. For making this an extra special fun swap, you deserve a heart. Happy swapping. ♥♥♥
Response: Glad it made you smile and I too LOVE Rainbow Row! Have a wonderful day!
Comment: Thanks for the gorgeous postcard, never enough lakes! haha I love them. That camping trip sounds lovely, I love when fireworks go over the lake. I'm always on land when I see them, but one day I want to be one of the cool people in a boat watching =) Thanks again
Response: One day I too want to be part of the cool kids and be on the boat! Have a wonderful day!
Comment: Love the postcard, I will admit I have always wanted a tabby :D
I just adopted an 8 week old kitten along with my Mia Bella :) they're getting on and Mia has taken over as mommy.
Hah yeah in this town there is like 1,000 though that is over estimating. Maybe in the town there is 300 lol
Thank you again for the card :) Have a great day!
Response: I am glad you liked the card and glad Mia Bella is enjoying her new friend. Have a beautiful day! =^,,^=
Comment: Sorry this is delayed, I didn't realize it didn't save. Thank you so much for you package and your notes! I loved the goodies, especially the washi tape samples. I've been using them to decorate my envelopes =)
Response: I'm glad you got it and liked it too! Thanks for the rating and the heart. Have a marvelous day!
Comment: Hi, Cherise! Your envie finally arrived here, and I don't know what took it so long to arrive from California to Georgia-16 days from the date you mailed it! The beautiful peacock duct tape had rolled back a little so perhaps it was "stuck" to other mail before it got discovered and sent on its way? I don't know, but I'm so glad it arrived because it's gorgeous! Definitely HAPPY MAIL! The owls all over the front of the envie, the peacock duct tape on the back and butterfly stickers...someone read my profile! :) I loved reading about your visit to the LA Arboretum and the peacocks you saw - you even sent me a photograph you took of a real peacock! I loved all the enclosures, too, and really thank you for making it so ME! Thank you!!!
Response: I am so glad you got this - so crazy it took 16 days though! I am glad you enjoyed the envelope and goodies inside. I hope every day brings you happiness! Take care!
Comment: I liked reading your note, I liked the way you did the envelope and the 4 postcards are great, thank you!
Response: I'm glad you liked the envie of cards - I like writing a note instead of just "hi!" to someone since I'm using a stamp and taking the time to send something to someone, I may as well write about my day/life! :) Take care!
Comment: I love the peacock! Thanks for the card! Enjoy that year pass -- I got one for the aquarium, and I love it. :D
Response: I've been 2 x to the Arboretum so far and once to another garden - hopefully this will get me out and about. I would LOVE one for the local aquarium - but parking fees would kill me. :) Have a wonderful day!
Comment: Love the notecard with such a nice note. We have two rescue dachshunds and like your cats they are a huge part of our family life :-) The post it note and stickers are so fun. Take care, Annette
Response: I'm glad you liked the note. I can't imagine my life without my little furballs (one of them turns 2 years old tomorrow - ah how time flies!). Take care and have a wonderful day!
Comment: Loved the large Easter Rabbit playing a trombone Easter Greetings postcard you sent me for the swap! Cute artwork as the rabbit is wearing a costume. Yes, I too, would go hunting for Easter eggs when I was a child. So much fun. Hope you found your "treasure boxes." Fun swap!
Comment: NAUGHTY KITTIES!!! lol.....I have one that is just like that and brings us dead chipmunks or mice....BLECHHHHHH!!!! I love your handwriting and thank you for the saguaros and the ocotillos! I miss the desert. I used to make frequent trips to Arizona and SoCal. OMG the desert in bloom with a sunset and a big open skyyyyyyyy....One of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen! Thank you for the memory boost. Happy Spring to you and your fam!
Response: Thank you for your kind note. When I was a child my teachers would tell me my writing was atrocious (I didn't handwrite exactly like they taught you) and I was once "put in the corner" for not making my capital "D" look "just right"!?! I'm glad I could bring back a memory for you about the Southwest - hope you are well and watch out for those dead "gifts" too! Take care!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard of Big Sur. We love the coasts. My husband was born in a village along the coast and I Only 13 km from the coast. We cannot image to live somewhere far awaly from the coast. That is why wa lwasy love to go on vacation to islands. We've been to 3 of the Canary Islands, to Sao Miguel, one of the Acores Islands, Curacao in the Carebean. Sal, one of the Cape Verdian Islands, and we made trips along the coasts of UK, France, Portugal, Italy.
Have a nice day.
Response: I'm glad you liked the PC. I dream of living near the ocean one day... oh to have traveled like you have; guess I better get a passport and start my adventures! I hope your day is beautiful today and everyday!
Comment: I loved to read a little bit about your life. I don't want to react here on the items because of privacy, but I am so sorry for you. But well, you got a new carpet :-)
Thank you for the nice cards, bought and handmade! My husband loved the dragon card. And my dad will be very happy with the stamps. It was fun to read the to-do list on the envelope. It is a great idea. Thank you for the great envelope!
Response: I'm glad the envie made you smile. Our new carpet is wonderful - I'm trying to be sure to put down rugs near doors to try to keep it fresh looking for as long as possible! I hope you are having a great day and thanks for the nice note. Take care!
Comment: Thanks for the Riverside card. The LA Arboretum sounds awesome as does the weather. I was birdwatching in the backyard today but our temps dropped 20 degrees from yesterday! Send that Cali sunshine this way please. =)
Response: Hopefully you got the order of California sunshine I sent your way... if not, blame the postal service! *grin* I have some Scrub Jays in my backyard today and a squirrel that is teasing our cats - that's my entertainment for the day! Take care and hope your day is beautiful!
Comment: Thank you for the great items you picked out for me! I'm always happy to get vintage postcards and book pages! I love the drive through tree postcard! We took a road trip up the west coast this summer and drove though a tree also. I don't think it was the same one, but I guess not many people can pass up the opportunity even if it seems silly! It's such a beautiful part of the country and I hope we get a chance to visit again. Thank you!
Response: I'm glad you liked your envelope and how funny you too have had the "drive thru" experience! Have a wonderful day and I too hope to visit Northern California one of these days!
Comment: This card brought back some memories for me - how awful it can be finding a place to park your car there was one, but the better one was when my BFF and I spent time there. She got a tatoo on Balboa Island of a pretty butterfly on her shoulder blade. Thirty-five years later, she refers to it as her dead bat tatoo, because frankly that's what it looks like now! And she thought I was dumb for not getting one too! Thanks for the great card!
Response: I'm glad you didn't get that tattoo! Balboa has changed a lot - my husband said the ferris wheel is gone - egads?! I think I need to make a trip down there this summer for sure! Have a great day!
Comment: First off---Happy elated birthday! Thanks for the wonderful cards. They are all new ones for me. My first Suzy's Zoo!
Response: I'm glad you liked the cards and I try to toss in an extra Suzy Zoo when possible for I picked up quite a few in a package a while back; just something fun to add! Thank you for the birthday wish as well! Have a wonderful day!
Comment: Thank you for the adorable Penguin postcard! Also, happy belated birthday to you! Lucky you that you have 50° weather, it's gotten into the negatives a lot of nights these past few weeks. Brr!
Response: Glad you liked the card - oh and today it was 82 degrees...SORRY! :-O Hope it warms up for you soon; take care and stay warm!
Comment: Wow! Great stuff! Thank you so much! (Yeah-Etsy is addictive!) Such riches! Like a chocolate souffle! The teeny little fuzzy dinosaurs tickle me! You're very generous!
Your stamps were never cancelled...hehehe
Response: I'm glad you liked your goodies and yes, the fuzzy dinosaurs were too cute not to add to your package! Have a great day... back to Etsy I go! *wink*
Thank you so much for the cool Los Angeles map card. You know I've lived here my whole life and I can count one hand (three fingers actually) how many times I've been to your city. I should get around SoCal a bit more. Thank you again and happy almost bday :)
Response: Yes, I should get around more too (in the traveling sense that is... wait, that still came out wrong....). Have a groovy day!
Comment: Thank you so much! I loved the PC... I almost named my puppy Yoda... should've he looks just like him most of the time!
Response: I'm glad you liked your card and everyone teases me about naming a female cat Yoda, but she came to us at 3 days old with her ears folded down, eyes closed and when we wrapped her in a towel to feed her, she was just too darn cute! =^,,^= Have a great day!
Comment: Cherry!! Love that :-) the envie full of goodies truly made my day. Such wonderful stuff in there! I'm happy we have similar tastes because I absolutely love what you sent :-) Thank you for being so thoughtful :-) hope to cross swap paths again...
Response: I'm glad I made you smile and glad you liked your envelope! I hope 2015 is treating you well so far!
Comment: Oh goodness Cherise, thank you so much for the wonderful card and note, even though you have had such an unfortunate thing happen to your home! I hope it is all fixed quickly, and you are back with your kitties soon!
Response: Glad you liked your card and note and hope your Christmas is nice; hoping to be back home in about a week or so; I appreciate the kind thoughts and so do the kitties! All the best to you!
Comment: Thank you for your re-send. You wrote about living in a hotel and being under stress - I hope you have got over this difficult period and life is great again for you. Hope the cats were not too stressed out too.
Response: I'm glad this one made it to you! Yes, still in the hotel for another 2-3 weeks... stress is now my first, middle and last names! *sigh* Take care and have a good day.
Comment: Thank you for a wonderful postcard of the Colorado State Capitol. I agree with you, the night view is definitely better than the day time view. I have put this great card in my blog at:
Please have a look and comments awre welcomed.
Response: Glad you liked the card and thank you for sharing the card on your blog! Have a wonderful holiday season!
Comment: Thank you Cherise for the Quick Christmas postcard - a gorgeous gold embossed card with ornaments & big red & gold bow! No gifts here either. That is OK as I know how to have a good visit with my family (thank goodness for ear plugs.) Wishes for your safe & happy Christmas! Greetings to you all the way over on the west coast from all the way down south here in Central Florida!
Response: You are welcome and Merry Christmas over and down to you too! :) Gotta love the earplugs! Enjoy and happy new year too!
Comment: You sent everything that I love thank you. So sorry to hear about your house, what a mess and bad timing, but guess there is no good time for some like this. I hope that will still have a nice holiday, big hug to you.
Response: I'm glad you liked your goodies! Yes, bad timing for sure, but as long as everything continues to go smoothly and we get into our home by the new year, I will be thankful! Happy holidays to you and thank you for the *hug* ~ back at ya'! :)
Comment: Thank you - adding to my collection. A co-worker is moving into their new home this weekend, in AZ. I used to travel their for business. I worked a lot and it was before I started swapping, so I don't have PC from there. Hope to go back. Take care, Annette
Response: Glad you liked the card and I really need to get back to Arizona too; I've got to see my friends before his kids all graduate college! :) Have a great holiday season!
Comment: What a FABULOUS envie! I just love how you used the film strip washi! So cute and clever! I really enjoyed reading your note (jealous of your handwriting by the way) and so appreciate the notecards, lighthouse postcard, smiley face stickers and the lovely rub ons! Welcome to Swap-Bot by the way! It is so fun, isn’t it?!
Response: Donna, I'm glad you liked your goodies and thank you for the nice words about my handwriting. When I was in school, I used to be ridiculed by my teachers for my horrible handwriting (back when they TAUGHT handwriting) and I used to get in trouble for making up my own flourishes; now I get to do what I want, so take that, teachers of the 70's/80's!! :) Have a great day and happy swapping to you!
Comment: Oh hey! We've talked about how i had met Brian before, right? Through the Portland gothic scene? Ha ha i hope i am thinking of the right person. Anyway, love this postcard!!! :)
Response: YES! We have had that convo about my brother! *grin* Glad you liked the PC and glad you remembered about my brother. Walking around town with him was funny for he seemed to know everyone and he said it was due to his days as a DJ. Have a great day!
Comment: Firstly, your Halloween party sounds like it was fixing to be pretty epic...hope you got to enjoy it. Secondly, I'm crazy obsessed with the envies you sent this swap in and the cards will be perfect for my journal. Thank you so much for everything, now get some rest. :)
Response: I am still reeling from the Halloween party - 45 of us and the yard is still decorated... going to make it into Nightmare Before Christmas so I don't have to take the graveyard down... I slept 10 hours the other night - hoping to get lots more rest my next 2 days off! Glad you liked your goodies too! Take care!
Comment: I was thrilled to find a card of the Statue of David in my mailbox! I was lucky enough to travel to Italy in August and had the time of my life so Italy has a special place in my heart now :) this made my day!
Response: Yeah! I'm glad I made your day! One day I hope to make it to Italy and see David in person! Take care!
Comment: Thanks for the vintage postcards - postcrossing people will love them. Your trip sounds like great fun. I love short sweet road trips. Just after I moved here to MN my college roommate and I drove 1400 miles in three days - MN, ND, Manitoba, Ontario, MN. It was an eye-opener for both of us.
Response: Wow, three days you hit more states and Providences than we could have done; I'm sure it was a blast! I hope you have a wonderful day and have fun sending those PCs!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful elephant seal postcard, I love it! I make frequent trips down to Piedras Blancas near San Simeon to check the progress of the colony there. I appreciate the newsy note you wrote, too--even the best card is so much better when that kind of effort is put into the writing. :) I'm glad you had a good trip. Happy Anniversary!
Response: I'm glad you liked the card. My husband and I drove past the area where the elephant seals are near San Simeon last September on our anniversary trip, but as it was about midnight, we could not see them, but boy, we sure could HEAR them! Have a great day and thanks for the nice wish.
Comment: Thanks! Enjoy "dressing up" for halloween :)
Response: You're welcome! For the past two days my husband and I have been busy preparing for our Halloween party; right now I'm covered in red paint as I have been splattering "blood" on anything and everything I can get my hands on! Have a great holiday too!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. Your trip sounds so fun!! Your cats sound adorable - hopefully they will shed a few of their "vacation pounds". :-)
Response: The trip was great, the kitties have had the last two days to run around outside for exercise as my husband and I decorate for Halloween, so hopefully that will help... either that or we'll have to get them a treadmill! =^..^=
Comment: I love the card of June Lake. Happy 2nd anniversary! Hope you've found time to unpack. I love your little message on the card. Happy hearts to you. 10/18 Revising to add the heart, I'm sorry that I forgot to click on it.
Response: Glad you liked the card and thank you for the nice wish. Unpacking is slowing happening but needs to get done by Oct. 25 for our Halloween party, so at least I have a goal set! :) Have a great day!
Comment: Wow, wow, WOW! Thank you so much. Finally got around to opening the amazingly creative envied you sent my way. Thank you so much for the wonderful letter about you and your husband's awesome roadtrip...makes me want to get out there, though I know for sure I'd have to take the day off afterwards, just to rest up a little. Thank you, also, for the awesome key and charms...will find a grand place to keep them.
Response: I'm glad you liked your envelope and got a kick out of our adventures; I have to say I am lucky to have a travel partner that looks at things the same as I do so that we don't argue about "going here or there". Just yesterday we spent a whole day out and about shopping at least 5 stores for Halloween goodies and when we got home he said, "I love shopping with you". So I can say I've been having a pretty good time as of late! Get out on the road, even if it's for a couple of days or one full day away; it really helps relax you and clear your head from "the real world" in my experiences. Have a great day!
Comment: your letter was fabulous. i love cats too. mine died of a tumour. so it was nice to read your letter
Response: Glad you liked your letter and I'm sorry for your kitty loss; my 17 year old passed away 2 weeks ago. =^,,^= I'm lucky to have my other three, one of which is sitting on my shoulder as I type! :) Have a great day!
Comment: Thank you Cherise! Your letter made my day :) The post card made me lol (tree hugger) and I adore the kitty stickers. I am so sorry to hear about your kitty passing, my deepest sympathy. I know our pets become like family to us.
Response: Glad I could make your day and thank you for your kind words about my Groucho Kitty; my husband it still taking it very hard and after 17 years, it's strange to come home and she not be here. *sigh* I hope you are having a lovely day and thank you again. :)
Comment: Thank you for all the skulls!!! I am sorry to read about your cat. I have heard of geocaching. We like to go letterboxing.
Response: Glad you liked your goodies; Halloween is coming up fast this year, woohoo! Thank you for your sympathy about Groucho Kitty; we all miss her very much, I think even the other kitties miss her too. =^,,^= Enjoy letterboxing - I grab those when they are near Caches too!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. It's interesting that you mention if it's yellow leave it mellow... my husband is big into composting toilets. If he had his way I'd be peeing in a bucket and the back of the toilet would be filled with saw dust to absorbe it all.. including the smell.. pretty interesting stuff actually.. loveable lu.? Thanks again :)
Response: Ha - glad I'm not the only one that thinks of crazy things like mellow yellow... my friends don't quite see it the same way, I must say! Have a groovy day!
Comment: Wow, I can't believe how many people get angry at you! I'd be tempted to keep a kitten at the desk and be like, "SHUT UP AND HUG THE KITTY!" :P
Response: **LOL** I wish we could have a "counter cat" like you see at Vet offices, but with everyone who comes in with stray pets, some not so nice, we can't do that for the safety of the pets and people. When I'm having a bad day, on my lunch break I go into the cat room and hug lots of kitties! =^,,^=
Comment: Absolutely perfect!!! Love the card, even more love the story!!! I can see it all as described! LOL!!! For real, Liberace's home here was just purchased by a British fan for $500,000....it was originally priced at $3,000.000! He hopes to restore it to it's former grandeur....or garishness, depending on how you look at it!! :0) Thank you very much!!
Response: Ha - glad you liked it and even more over crazy that you too had a story about Liberace! Have a fantastic day and thanks for sharing the "real" story!
Comment: Hi neighbor. Thank you for the great card. We are close to being neighbors. I was born and raised in Pomona and my father worked for Sunkist Orange Prouducts in Ontario.
Response: Ah ha, we truly are neighbors then! I have lived in Ontario for 42 years and I have not driven past the Sunkist plant for many years, but just recently I heard they tore it down; very sad to me as it was "iconic" for our City. Have a wonderful and sunshine filled day!
Comment: Thank you for such a awesome envelope. I loved the mail art on it and all the beautiful things inside. I love the sun stationery and the pretty butterfly memo sheets and the postcards and all the little charms!
Response: I'm glad you liked your envelope of goodies ~ always happy to make someone smile. Have an awesome day!
Comment: Loved your package. Everything was super. One of my fave things are brooches and you made my day with the brooch! The charm is a cutie. Thanks so much! Have a great rest of the summer and happy swapping!!
Response: Glad you liked your goodies ~ always happy to make someone else happy too. I'm enjoying the heat, even with multiple "cool down" showers a day! :)
Comment: Thanks for the awesome handmade card, Cherise! Definitely get that passport! My family & I went on a Disney Cruise last summer and, while they only got the passcards, I got the passport...... as I dream to go to Israel one day!! :)
Response: Thanks for the advice - I know as soon as we get our passports, we can start planning a trip ... a cruise would be fun although my husband doesn't trust them these days... heehee. Have a great day!
Comment: Hello Cherise, glad you were able to find a refreshing place to go to & escape the heat. Giving you a heart as Johnny Depp as Capt. Jack Sparrow is a favorite of my Mom & me. Will be sharing this PC with her. Happy August!
Response: Arrgh! Glad you liked the POTC postcard - Johnny Depp is my favorite in any role! ;) Have a wonderful day and hope the weather treats you well too!
Comment: Thank you for the nice note. That is so amazing that your kitten likes to join you in the shower! I've never heard that before LOL! I hope your work calms down a bit so you can get Some Rest! Have you tried the herb Valerian it is good to help you sleep. I love the postcard and notecard! <3
Response: I've heard of Valerian - I could use it tonight as it's almost 3 am as I write this... computers excite my brain too much I fear. Our kitty Yoda is a kick - would love to see if she will swim or not... maybe one day!
Comment: Thank you for the post card and the interesting fact, and things you like to do there. The name of the town brought back memories of a childhood classmate whose name is LaVerne. I hope you get to go and enjoy it very often.
Response: You're welcome; and when you said your friend LaVerne, I immediately thought Laverne and Shirley! (yep, I'm that old!). Have a great day!
Comment: Great card! Thanks - I like such cards of places - I never knew Beverly Hills is a city - always thought it was a suburb of LA. I have put this postcard in my blog at:
Do have a look when you have time and I always welcome comments.
Response: Oh wow Tom - that's a really neat blog; I'll have to check it out further as I may learn something! Glad you liked your card!
Comment: Thanks Cherise, I love your card. We have Japanese Gardens here at the University -- and we also have a formal Chinese garden in downtown Vancouver.
September would be a wonderful time to take your husband to Portland. My husband and I used to go to Portland and then out to the coast every October. I miss those trips.
Response: It's looking better and better for a trip to Oregon in September this year... keeping my fingers crossed! Have a great day!
Comment: The peace camp sounds amazing :)
So nice to hear that you had lots ot fun :)
Response: I've been invited to visit the original Peace Camp in Orange County here in California in a few weeks ~ can't wait to see their camp and maybe bring back more ideas for "ours" next year! Take care and hope your day is wonderful!
Comment: Oh my I love the package you put together ! Especially all the stickers so cute! I'm trying to get a job at some shelter or anything animal related because there just beautiful creatures but it's hard.
Well happy swapping 😊💋
Response: Glad you liked the envelope ~ the people at my post office were beside themselves when my husband took my envelope in to be mailed ~ glad it made you smile too! Good luck with looking for a job in this field ~ it's heartbreaking at times, but very rewarding! Have a wonderful day. :)
Comment: Hotdog, that's quite the eye candy on your PC that you sent me! I enjoyed reading your comments on the it too. My great Uncle Chick from Montana was a real cowboy and he would have called them boys "City Slickers"! LOL:-)
I loved the PC and it made me smile.
thank you so much.
Response: Glad you liked the eye candy, Ellie! :) City Slickers or not, they are nice to look at. ;)
Comment: Thank you so much for this "A"rizona map postcard that you sent for this swap. You are correct that the Grand Canyon is quite the spectacle… so is Hoover Dam (where we had fun walking from Nevada to Arizona on the bridge there). LOL!
Response: Yes, I stood in the middle of the Hoover Dam and said, "I'm in 2 states at once!" My friends were not amused. :)
Comment: LOVE!!! Cherise, thank you so much for the beautiful vintage Paris postcard and your lovely note. It really made my day. So much thought & attention put into a small piece of paper, really, thank you so much!!!!
Response: I am glad you really enjoyed the card ~ if I had known of swap-bot 12 years ago, I would have picked up more cards when in Paris! :) Have a lovely day!
Comment: Thanks so much for the elephant card Cherise! Love it! The background (wood grain?) has almost an appearance of elephant skin- really cool choice
Response: Glad you liked the card ~ I have a really neat dictionary that has lovely illustrations so that's where it came from. I went with the "wood grain" just for you, so glad you noticed. Have a wonderful day.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful postcards, especially the Disney one! I love it. :) I don't send many official postcrossing cards anymore. I mainly just do tags in the postcrossing forum. My favorite is the favorites tags (where you send someone a card from their favorites and someone else sends you one of your favorites) which is why I have quite a list. :)
Response: Glad you liked your cards ~ I log into Postcrossing often, but have not signed in to send any right now since I'm having too much fun with Swap-bot! Have a great day.
Comment: Thank you so much for all the goodies! I am so excited about the BBT stickers!! You picked wonderful items and thanks for reading my profile!! I just bought the Circus stamps too & am happy that I got one!
Response: Glad you liked your items ~ I *had* to send the BBT to you! :)
Comment: Thank you for the sounthern CA PC!!! Some day I would love to drive up the coast of CA. You do sound like you have it all there living so close to so many things. Sounds like you already do appreciate the area that you live in. It's nice that you do appreciate it. So many folks don't. I appreciate your reminder for myself.
Enjoy your Summer,
Response: Sometimes we need to 'step away' from our surroundings (safe and comfortable cocoon) to appreciate what we do have, no matter what they might be. :)
