Comment: Thank you Kathi-Ann for sending me the Missouri shaped postcard showing the birds of the state of Missouri. How I miss the Blue birds. I saw them every spring, with their lovely songs, when I lived in Virginia. Wishing you a Happy Spring!
Response: I miss all the fun birds I used to see when I lived on the east coast as well. Desert dwelling birds tend to be all brown and grey, no colors. Glad you liked the card!
Comment: Hi Kathi-Ann! Thank you for the pretty nc and the share about your weekend - I love Rummicube!! I sure miss the days when my kiddos were home to have so much family time - sigh! Hope the weather warmed up so you could go to the park! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: The weather did warm up, but we didn't end up going to the park. We saved that for Monday. And we went to my parents for Easter yesterday and played Rummicube again! My daughter won this time, which made her happy.
Comment: Thank you for the cute pc!! Never seen one with a cutout either!
Response: I wish I had gotten more of them when I was at Buffalo Bill's grave site/tourist trap. Great place for postcards, huge wall full in both reprints of vintage, black and white, and typical tourist. *sigh* it was beautiful.
Comment: Thank you for the nice note in my mailbox! I don't mind you talking about church. In fact, I liked it. It's familiar territory for me! Now daylight savings is not! Lol I have lived in Arizona most of my life and absolutely love not having it. 😄
Response: I've loved a state away from Arizona for most of my life, as I've gotten older, the prospect of no daylight savings time has started to appeal to me more and more. Have a lovely week!
Comment: Thank you for the neat PC! Bob & I both love pipe organ music so your postcard made us both smile. I apologize for taking so long to rate. Bob suffered a heart attack and ended up needing a quadruple bypass. These past few weeks have been the scariest of my life but we have him home now and he is slowly recovering. I guess I have the first of your journal questions answered!
~ All the best
Response: Oh, my goodness! That does sound scary. I'm glad that he's recovering. Thank you for rating!
Comment: Thank you for the Valentine wishes ~ I hope your day was full of love and happiness that continues throughout the year! â¤ï¸
Response: I had a lovely Valentine's day. My finance got me a toaster, and what a toaster it is, wide slots, can cook 4 pieces at a time...the toast that dreams are made of. Anyway, glad you liked the card.
Comment: Thank you for the gunfighting lawmen card, Kathiann. When in Glenwood Springs CO I once stumbled on Doc Hollidays grave while I was on a morning hike. Never been to Golden, but will check out the Buffalo Bill museum if I get there,
Response: I hand't planed to stop at his gravesite, but it was there, and I didn't know the next time I'd be in Colorado (stopped to visit my great grandpa too, though he doesn't have a gift store).I'd love to visit Doc Holliday's grave!
Comment: Thank you for the Christmas card! It has puncture holes all throughout it - not sure if you have a dog or if this batch of mail took one heck of a beating. It may have taken some extra time to get to me because the state abbreviation written in the address was for Mass., not Maine. BUT, it made it to me which is all that matters :)
Response: I don't have a dog, and it was in one piece when I sent it...so I'm going with the mail machines ate it. I'm sorry that I put the wrong state on it and it took so long. I'm glad that it made it to you.
Comment: I hope you had a merry Christmas! Thank you for the beautiful scenery postcard you sent. We actually cut our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving at a tree farm I worked for for many years. Its still just as beautiful as the day we brought it home, and it is a shame it is time to takke it down!
Response: I'm tree is still up (January 4th) but it's got to come down tomorrow as we are going out of town for the weekend and I don't want to leave the real tree unattended for that long. Hope you have a happy new year!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Christian Christmas card.
I am sorry that my rating is coming in a week or so later than a usually rating is issued.
I had rated everyone, but must have not hit send to save the ratings.
Merry Christmas ðŸŽðŸŽ„
Comment: Hello Kathi-Ann! Thank you very much for your postcard! We actually do not really get snow at all in this part of Texas, however last week we got snow here for the first time since I've lived here (heading towards 7 years) and I believe the first time the area has gotten snow in 20+ years. It wasn't much and it melted off the very next day but it was fun while it lasted! Thank you again and wishing you and yours a happy holiday!
Comment: Hi Kathi-Ann! Thank you for the beautiful pc - the ones I get from NC are always so lovely! Love the quote and yes, that is true - the whole workday can be going slow but lunch time zooms by! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: I really like your mini-zine and the books you featured. I read some Terry Pratchett books and of course all HP. Maybe I should give Jane Austen a try someday. Thank you also for the stickers :)
Comment: Thank you for a very pretty card. My town doesn't look like that and I don't remember Utah looking like that!! I love to bake, too. Spritz cookies (butter, sugar, vanilla, oh my!!) and pecan pies are my two favorites. Happy swapping.
Comment: Thank you â¤Â¸â™¥â™ªâ™«*¨*•.¸¸⤠for the HAPPY DECEMBER pictures on my profile ;-) 💗 🎅 🎠🎄📷 ↠☃ ☕ï¸ðŸ 🎎...I HOPE you have A GREAT DECEMBER & ENJOY a great 💙💚💛â¤ï¸ðŸ’œ rating! Blessings, cc
Comment: I would love to go on those hikes! What gorgeous places! Going out west is on my bucket list :) I’m on the other side, in the Appalachian mountains.
Response: I spent 4 year very close to the Blue Ridge when I was in graduate school, and just after. I miss the snow, but I'm sure I wont really once people start posting their "I hate driving in the snow" pics Merry Christmas!
Comment: Hi, Kathi-Ann, thank you for the lovely pocket envelopes and the really cool tiger pocket you created! I enjoyed making these pocket envelopes, too! I hope we see more of these swaps in the future. Thanks for the lovely Christmas card, what a fabulous extra! Wishing you a blessed and magical Christmas!
Response: I'm glad that you liked the tiger pocket. I enjoyed making the envelopes and hope get a chance to make more in the future as well!
Comment: Hello Kathi Ann ! First, I want to thank you for joining my swap. It was fun! Thank you for the beautiful card and the extra card. Loved them both! Plus, I esp. loved what you wrote, What you like about Christmas ! I too, love all the lights around our area! Everyone including me, goes all out with the lights and decorations. Merry Christmas Kathi Ann !
Response: I loved all the glittery cards I got from this swap, I'm glad that you hosted it. Thank you so much!
Comment: Thank you for brightening my evening yesterday with your beautiful foiled card (and foil-lined envelope!), adorable The Snowy Day stamp, and fun Christmas notecards to send :) Hope you and yours have a warm Thanksgiving!
Response: I hope that you have a happy thanksgiving as well! I'm glad you liked the card, it's new to me this year, and I'm enjoying sending out cards that are so "fancy"
Comment: Thanks for sharing with me what made you happy in the month of Oct. Your trick-or-treating adventure with your daughter sounds awesome!! I am glad you two had fun!! Oh and I apologize for the late thank you, I am not sure where my head was at
Response: Better late than never :) Trick-or-treating was a bunch of fun.
Comment: Kathi-Ann, thank you for the beautiful covered bridge Christmas card. I fell in love with them growing up in MA. We had one 10 miles from my home. Also, thank you for the extra Christmas card. Shirley
Response: I'm glad you liked the covered bridge. They are some of the few cards I bought without them being on sale because I loved them so much.
Comment: Eeeeeeeeeeeee! I love the postcard you sent! My guess is you have 8 brothers and sisters...that's a hair bigger than the 5 we have!
Response: I do indeed have 8 brothers and sister. It is a very large, very loud family. As most large families are. My baby sister was a bit of a surprise though. She's only 18 months older than my son.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card and postcard! I can’t wait to add your card to my Christmas wall! (Also as a side note you live in the same town that my great-great Grandma was from! It’s beautiful down there!)
Response: It is very beautiful here! I have had family living in this area for several generations, and I keep being drawn back to the area, despite not having grown up here. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: our street names are all Swedish and Danish - mine is actually one of the easier ones in the the town
Response: Oh goodness! I can't even imagine. Then again, I currently live in an area where everything is in a grid and you can tell what part of town someone is in just by looking at the address, even if you've never been there, so I really can't judge.
Comment: Thank you so much for your words! #4 Halfpace reminded me of my hubby. He said back when he was a drinker his mother had a little table on that landing that he could not ever get past when he had drank a few! LOL! Thankfully he quit before I met him.
Response: Wow, I'm glad for your sake he stopped drinking before you got married! Thank you for the heart.
Comment: Thank you Kathi-Ann for the Fright Night Fun Halloween card, stickers, Eclipse postage stamp you sent to me for the swap. It will be fun, wearing the flamingo costume you found at Target. Happy Halloween!
Response: Thank you, I hope you have a very happy Halloween!
Comment: Thanks very much for your postcard! It certainly was odd :). Apologies for taking so long to rate you - I have been on a very big move to a new home and am just settling in.
Happy swapping hopefully in the future! Philippe
Response: I totally get the move things, I just made a big move myself. Thank you for rating!
Comment: Thank you for the meow card and the cute stickers. Disney world was fabulous! We can't wait to go back. I love fall, my friend is having her annual bonfire next weekend and I'm really looking forward to it.
Response: I love a good bonfire! Make sure to toast lots of marshmallows!
Comment: Thank you so much for a great card! I was in Nashville this past summer and I think I remember seeing the Arena. Welcome back to UT! It was really great having a postmark from Provo because that’s the post office I send a lot of my mail from!
Response: It always makes me laugh when I see the stuff I send postmarked from that far away! I'm much closer to Vegas, I don't know why it's not sent there for processing.
Comment: Hi Kathi-Ann ~ I loved watching the Andy Griffith show when younger. I later watched him in Matlock. He;s always been a favourite. Thank you so very much for sending me those postcard recipe cards.Love those pictures on there. :o) And thank you for your lovely note!
Response: Up until about a month ago, I lived in Mayberry :) I don't know if I mentioned that in the note. They make a really big deal of it and will even postmark things as being from "Mayberry" during Mayberry days severy September.
Comment: That's what McBride look like when we live there, it's just a couple hours from Prince George. We had a bit more snow, but the McBride valley is also full of farm land. It nice to see a pc from Colorado as I don't have one. Thank you for the postcard.
Response: I'm glad my cross country move was able to bring happiness :) I have more cards from the states I crossed through than I know what to do with. I may have got a bit postcard crazy :)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely inspiration cards. You picked some of my favorite quotes. Every word out of John Muir's mouth was golden. Thanks for joining my swap and sending me such pretty inspiration. I love the postage stamp you used and the pretty poppy washi tape. <3
Response: Oh! I'm so glad you liked them. I wasn't sure I was doing it right, which worried me. SO I'm glad that they turned out well :)
Comment: Thanks for joining my swap! Next time, please follow the requirements as noted in the swap description. This swap called for the name of the swap plus your swap-bot ID written somewhere on the PC (the PC only had my addy details). This is extremely helpful to do in ALL swaps as there are many of us who swap outside of swap-bot, and when we receive swaps without any info, it can be a hassle locating the correct swap to rate. Happy swapping!
Response: It wasn't written on there? I'm sorry. I swear I put it there, it would have been very small and near the top. I am so sorry I missed it! Thank you for still rating me a 5.
Comment: Thank you for the great card from Mt.Airy or better known as Mayberry. Loved the show. Would love to live in a small town.
Response: I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of the small town life. But, I work in an even smaller town (it has a gas station and a post office, and a school, and a church, and well, aside from the people who live there that's it) so Mayberry is preferable to that
Comment: Your card was a great read. Also thank you for the washi tape! I have never had this before so I'm excited to try it out!
Response: Washi is a lot of fun. I love to use it on my envelopes and when I make postcards. And it's just pretty to look at (I used some to label the drawers in the kitchen in an attempt to get my kids to put the various silverware and cooking utensils in the right spot).
Comment: Remember the Andy Griffith show and had no idea that Snsppy Lunch was to be mentioned by Andy himself. Home of the pork chop sandwich! Hahaha! My how we have changed with food choices! Thanks again!
Response: They serve what amounts to fried pork chop sandwiches or school lunch in these parts, with lots of country gravy. I don't get it either, but then, I grew up in California.
Comment: I always wonder about these photographers who see deer during the day. We have a lot of deer here in Oklahoma, but I only ever see them from twilight to dawn, but never during the day. Excellent card, thanks.
Response: I occasionally see deer during the day, but not beautiful and majestic like the ones on post cards. If I see them at all I curse them (one caused $5000 in damages to my car when it leaped out of a corn field in the middle of the night).
Comment: Hello!! I now the other person from Belgium, she's a friend of mine!! She lives a few houses further in the street!! She's the one who told me about Swap bot and Postcrossing!!
Thank you for the mountains!!
All the best!!
Response: How awesome to have a friend so close that does swap bot and postcrossing! I just turned my sister onto postcrossing, she's a geography teacher and is very excited about it.
Comment: I also am in the middle of a rewatch/catch-up in Criminal Minds. I'm not sure exactly when I stopped watching, but I'm at season 8 now, with a fair amount of knowledge of what has happened. I recently saw MGG's new move 68 Kill in theaters and went to his Q&A for it. He's just as lovely in person as he is on the show!
Response: I LOVE MGG! Ahem, yes, he's a good actor :) I just finished up to the most recent season finale. I have to say I wasn't thrilled with the multi episode arch they had involving Reid (it seemed out of character) but the ending was great...well, until the end of the episode when it was a cliff hanger. Oh well.
Comment: Hi! How fun it was to receive your smooshed coin today (my first smooshed coin swap btw) when I got home from work! Andy Griffith was a wonderful show.. I hope I get to visit Mt. Airy someday. I have a "piece of tv history" now. Thank you so much. :-)
Response: Mt. Airy is a lovely little town. I'm glad you liked the coin :)
Comment: Hi! So funny I received my P is for pizza atc when I ordered pizza for dinner! I love how I can order hours ahead of time on Dominos website to pick up after my kids' soccer practice! Thank you.
Response: HA! That's awesome! I like that I can save my typical order so I don't have to go through and do it every time. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: Please thank Annabelle...saumyaa enjoyed reading her letter...she would also like to write back to her and be pen pals....if that's fine by your daughter then please message me your address. Thanks
Response: I will ask Annabelle if she would like to continue to correspond and let you know. We are getting ready to move so it might be a bit before I send you the address :)
Comment: I LOOOVVVE this card, Kathi-Ann! I can absolutely see why it would be hard to part with. Now I feel like I need to be better at scouring my local vintage stores to find some great gems like this one! Thank you so much! It will definitely be kept safe and continue to be loved :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it! There's only one store that I've found local who sells cards and I'm slowly buying them out :) Good luck finding a store that has a supply!
Comment: hello there, North Carolina!
i am pleased to receive the lyrics from
the best band ever: it is exciting to me
(former Beatlemaniac) to see their words again
... how well they resonate over the decades ~
thank you/keep your heart singing!
Response: My dad is a huge Beatles fan, he instilled that love in me. I'm glad that you liked to see their lyrics.
Comment: Thank you for your great card. I couldn't read the info on Mayberry
Response: Oh, shoot! Mt. Airy (where I live) is the inspiration for the fictional town Mayberry from the old TV show "The Andy Griffith Show". We get lots of tourists here for it. There are a few businesses that were mentioned in the show that actually still exists, though they ted to be chocked with visitors and so I've not ever been to them.
Comment: I'm so sorry for the delay in rating. I found a bag of mail and your swap was in it.
I didn't realize that Mayberry was an actual place. Is it anything like the TV show.
You have 8 siblings. That must have been incredible growing up. How many bathrooms did you have?
Response: Mayberry, or Mt. Airy, NC, is not much like the show, though reminders of the town's illustrious native son are everywhere. It's a big tourist draw. There are two stores that were mentioned in the show that are actually real, so that's cool. I am not a fan of the big family. Being #3 meant that I was offten responsible for younger siblings. And when I was a teenager we had 3 bathrooms in the house, though we were not allowed to use my parents. I have always showered at night as a result.
Comment: Thank you for the card and the extra little surprise inside. I had a job like yours and after 30yrs. I took an early retirement. It is so good to find ways to decompress from the bustle of our full lives. I enjoyed hearing yours.
Response: Burn out is a huge problem in the profession. I take care to make sure I take care of myself. If I don't, I'm no good to anyone. Thank you for the lovely comment.
Comment: Thank you for the card! What would have been the place name on front?
Response: If I remember this postcard correctly, it was a table covered in moss with wood logs as chairs. I took the picture at Rocky Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia in the US. Is that what you were wanting to know? Unless I used a different picture...
Comment: Hi! Thank you for sharing your b e a u t i f u l flower board! I think we have a lot in common as taste. I love the wild flowers too. I pinned some of your collection :) I would like to redraw the chalkboard pic you've got. So a great thank you!
Response: I'm glad you liked it! Out side of my work, there is a little patch of dirt between the sidewalk and the parking lot. Last year, just before fall, they seeded the spot with wildflower seeds. This spring when they bloomed it was a wash of color. I loved it so much. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: Hi Kathi-Ann! Got you letter today and enjoyed reading about how and why you got started with tracing your genealogy. I love hearing what others have found. I love history and so genealogy goes hand in hand with that love. Also my grandfather was born in Bohemia ( which is now northern Czech Republic) and I was always asking him about where he came from and his family. I still have the paper I jotted my notes down on from back in 1972!!
I am familiar with the site FamilySearch.org and have found quite a bit in there. But I love actually going to our court house and looking up records.
Best of luck as you continue searching for your ancestors AND your upcoming wedding!!
Response: I don't live anywhere near where my family is from, so don't have much use for them. But I do love looking at old documents. The sense of discovering who people were and what they were like. I love it!
Comment: Thank you so much for your note and the washi samples! I did learn to crochet but I am so very slow that I choose not to do that again. Quilting is my favorite. Many years ago my SIL was making a blanket for a baby and something was said and my brother remarked that anybody could do that. She got him some yarn and a hook a proceeded to show him how. After an hour he threw it down and went to bed. She woke up around 3 am and went looking for him. He had gotten up and was sitting in there trying again. He never could stand for anything to get the best of him.LOL! I think he finally learned the basics.
Response: LOL! That's an awesome story. I am not that much of a go getter, but I wish I was. Thnak you for sharing
Comment: Thanks kathi-Ann for an awesome pc! I love blue ridge and hope you've been able to see the parkway as well. I love my owl. My owl story is as follows. My late mother in law loved owls and when she passes I just kinda picked up her love of em. I miss her so much and think every time I see one of her. She's always in my heart. Thanks again.
Response: I love going up to the Parkway to see the view form the top. I love it in the fall especially. What a sweet story about owls. Thank you for sharing.
Comment: Thanks for the extra lists! :) I loved reading them, again, you thought of a lot that I should have put on mine! Especially prayer to relax, and good driver and conversationalist on qualities. And your favorite smells are making me hungry!! I see homemade bread and cookies in my near future. :)
Response: LOL! I'm glad you liked them! I'm eagerly awaiting receiving your lists to see what you put down. As I've gotten a few already and the answers have all been great.
Comment: I love your lists !!!!! We have some things in common ! How about a road trip to Mayberry and a shopping spree at Lane Bryant !! woot woot !!!!! Mayberry is soo cute !! <3
Response: LOL! It's always fun to see things you have in common with people. I actually LIVE in Mayberry, no road trip for me :) I actually just hit up Lane Bryant in the town next to me, man I love that store.
Comment: Thank you Kathi-Ann for your note and the cute colorful washi! Good luck on the ATC's and envie making, I've never tried ATC's but I love making envies :) Thanks for joining my swap, enjoy the rest of your summer!
Response: I'm "ok" at making ATC's, my envies still need work, but I'm getting there. Thank you for the heart! And I'm glad you like the washi.
Comment: Thank you for sharing the link to your blog post, Kathi-Ann! I loved the photos! I too thought that picnic spot looked like a fairy scene (even before I read your comment about it!). :-) Thank you so much for sharing!
Response: I took the picture from a small distance because I didn't want to disrupt the serenity of the scene. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: I love swapping with you too!!!! You are just awesomely talented and fun!!! AND btw...I had to google Tar Heels...I know it as the Univ. of NC Tar Heels...lol. But just for grins..according to google....Tar Heel is a nickname applied to the U.S. state of North Carolina and its inhabitants. ... One such legend claims it to be a nickname given during the U.S. Civil War, because of the state's importance on the Confederate side, and the fact that the troops "stuck to their ranks like they had tar on their heels".
Response: LOL! Having lived in NC for just about a year now, I'm not surprised that the nickname has to do with the civil war. The area is rich with history to that effect (the town just over the border in Virginia was renamed for a confederate general who was born in the county). Thank you for sharing!
Comment: Thank you for the nice recipe cards. Can always use more of them. I'm forever saving recipes. Last new one I tried way a chicken casserole with dumplings on top. Was a big hit !! Thanks again.
Response: Sounds like a good recipe. I'm glad you like the cards!
thanks for the pretty summer-full card
with news of your latest adventures ...
i'm honored you have shared
those joys with me =)
take care & have fun climbing
Response: We are still working our way towards it! Thank you for the lovely comment.
Comment: Thank you for very interesting facts about USA. For some reason I thought Puerto Rico was part of the USA?! Now I know better. My cousin works in the US army, BTW. :)
Response: Puerto Rico is a territory, not a state. They vote in elections (like for the president) but it's mostly symbolic. There are some who think it should be a state, and some that think it should be independent, and some who are content to let it just be the way it is.
Comment: Thank you, thank you! Halloween is always welcome here :) I laughed when I saw the washi tape - I have those same ones and love to send them in swaps because of the postal theme. I'm so happy to have more!!!
Response: LOL! I've gotten a few washi's that I have through swaps as well. I'm glad that you liked the goodies!
Comment: Thank you for that great selection. I am sorry it took so long to rate. Both of my partners for this had names that began with a "K" so after I returned from my trip, I had to go hunting for your package to give the proper rating.
Response: It's all good! I'm glad that you liked the selection!
Comment: Hello Kathi-Ann,
Thankyou so much for the 4 "E" washi tapes you sent me for the Alphabet Fun--E Swap. You came up with some great ideas for the Letter E. The washi tapes are all new to me. I look forward to using them in the future.
Response: I'm glad that you like them, and that they are all new to you! Thank you so much for the heart!
Comment: Wow, Kathi-Ann! You sent that fast! And I thought I was fast! :-) Thoughts: I would be very interested in the full sentence for the partial one you shared from line 17 of page 23 of whatever book that was. ;-) I had to laugh when I read your answer to #7. * hehehe * :-) I also LOVE the last lie you told. Wish I'd thought of that one. ;-) You didn't answer the "have you ever crashed?" part to the driving question. . . ??? Thank you for sharing!!! :-)
Response: Hey! I had these typed up and ready to go in advance because I knew that it was going to be time consuming. I finished them this evening. The sentence isn't as interesting as the partial sentence would lead you to believe. The DSM-5 is the bible of mental disorders in the US, the first bit is basically an introduction on how to use the book. I completly missed the second half of the driving question! I've fixed it on my post and here is the answer "Have I ever crashed? Not really? Had a fender bender in the paring lot at the mall and had a deer jump onto my car from a corn field ($5000 in damage to my new to me car that I hadn't even made the first payment on)." Thank you so much for reading and rating!
Comment: You captured June perfectly! Thank you Kathi-Ann! Thank you for participating in my first swap as a hostess!! It's a beautiful ATC!!!
Response: You're welcome! I'm so glad you like it. I'm fairly insecure about my art, so to know that it was done well (or at least met the theme) makes me very happy. And I think I'm going to enjoy making month themed ATC's, I can't wait for July.
Comment: Thank you for the fun playlist, Kathi-Ann! I too wound up with mostly Bollywood songs on my list. But I don't mind that I can't understand them. It doesn't bother me at all. After all, there are lots and LOTS of American or English songs out there and I can't understand many of them, either. ;-) Thank you for sharing!!!
Response: Half the songs on the radio I have to go home and look lyrics up. I'm glad you liked my list.
Comment: Thank you for the nice card and ATC papers. I love them. Good luck with the tourists and I too don't like the Sherlock character but like the show. You're right, there is something about him. Anyway, have fun and take care.
Response: Thank you for the rating, and the heart!
Comment: Thx for sharing your weekend with me! I live in a small rural town, but am only 15 miles outside of Gainesville, Fl. Close enough for shopping and culture, but far enough away for peace and quiet.
Response: I'm much further from shopping and such. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the postcard and for your "little" wishes. I actually love the Blue Ridge Mountains and it is one of my favorite scenic drives, so the postcard you sent brought back great memories, Thanks again.
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you liked the post card!
Comment: What a lovely home. American/NZ architecture is so so different.
Response: East coast America vs West Coast America architecture is very different. Where I grew up looks nothing like where I live now, and all it took was moving across the country. Thank you for the rating!
Comment: Hello Kathi-Ann,
Thank you for your nice selection of washi tape that starts with the letter C that you sent me for this swap. You came up with some good ideas. I look forwaed to using your tape.
Comment: Thank you so much for your letter and the die cuts! Have you heard Tim McGraw's song "I want to go back to Mayberry"? It's a great song. I think the weather is unpredictable all over the south. Here in Texas the saying is, "You don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes." and it's often true.
Response: I've not heard that song. Tried to look it up but couldn't find it 😕 thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the nice letter and goodies. I only live about 45 minutes from Mt. Airy.
Response: I was wondering when I saw that you lived in NC! I've only lived in the area for less than a year, so I don't know where many towns are (though I know Winston-Salem cause that's where the Target and Michales are)
Comment: I wish I could give two hearts for your board! I visited Sweden 4 years ago and I recognized some of the things on your board, like the dragon rock in Sigtuna and the Vasa Museum. Thank you for bringing back good memories and I'm glad you liked to search Pinterest for more information on Sweden!
Response: I'm glad I was able to help you bring back happy memories! Thank you for the heart :)
Comment: Enjoyed reading about you! I hope you enjoy your summer. I am the same way about Disney movies! My favorite Disney "princess" movie is beauty and the beast! I also love emperor's new groove. I feel like it is such an underrated one!
Response: Emperors new groove is awesome 😊 thank you for rating so quickly!
Comment: Hi Kathi-Ann
I never did get your postcard for this swap, and I know you sent it. I assume it is still travelling around the world. I will let you know if arrives one day!
Cheers Penny Hamilton
Comment: Thanks for sharing your story with me. You're had enough experience already to have learned important relationship lessons, so the next part of your life should be happy in comparison. Good luck with your studies.
Comment: Thank you for the great recipes! I can not wait to try the guacamole, since I BUY Wholly Guacamole all the time and cringe everytime because of the price. But I love it so! Thank you thank you!
Response: I hope the guacamole works out for you, just make sure that the avocados are ripe when you pick them, that makes all th difference.
