Comment: Thank you for the envelope full of fabulous! I love all the postcards, and the extras included. A very fun swap! - You just never know about those hearts!♥️ Some swappers don’t seem to have much of one.
Response: So glad you liked what I sent! This was a fun swap and I appreciate your kindness. Hoping it comes back to you ten fold.
Comment: Thank you for the nice card! I am gonna try to see if I can order some they are so cute!
Response: Oh you will love them. She is doing a thing right now where you pay $10 and you get matched with another creative pen pal and she sends you 5 notecards with envelopes. It is a good deal and a great way to meet other creative folks.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely PC and note.
My favorite is Saguaro National Park, for great hiking. I probably like the western section of the park best. Of course, I have yet to visit Oregon and Washington, so I may well change my mind.
Comment: Thanks for the scavenger hunt cards and extras, Margaret. I especially like the lightning & the woodland path. And yes, postcard scavenger hunts are lots of fun -- maybe even addicting! But there are worse things one could be addicted to. Stay well.
Comment: Thanks so much for the pretty creek PC. kind of sort of looks like our creek, out back of our house. I love to hear babbling at night in the summer. So peaceful & serene. Thank you too for your list of outdoor activities. A couple of them I do myself. Like outdoor dining& storm watching. Take care & keep safe.
Comment: Thank you for the great postcards. I really enjoyed them. The steam boat postcard was my favorite. Just a friendly reminder to please put the swap name somewhere on the envelope so I can rate easier. Take care (:
Response: Oh I am so sorry. Thank you for taking the time to figure it out.
Comment: Absolutely wonderful selection. I have visited the Arizona Memorial (during one of their anniversary ceremonies). The first step on the moon was also very exciting to get. Thank you for all of them. 💗💓💓
Response: Yay! So glad you liked them! Hope you know how much I appreciate the comments and the heart <3
Comment: Thanks so much for the postcards and the extra! I liked Lake Champlain - never been there. I want to go to Santorini. All the pics I have seen are from the coast. What a great view of the town with the mountain in the background! Thanks again!
Response: So happy you like the cards I sent you, and really appreciate the sweet note in the rating and the heart.
Comment: Thank you SO MUCH for the wonderful postcards! I think your selection was my favorite group of cards I've ever gotten! You have my taste in cards totally figured out. Best wishes and stay safe!
Response: What high praise! Thank you so much. Sending you so many hearts.
Comment: Yours arrived several days ago, but you forgot to include your name! Lol. So I had to wait for the last one to arrive to sure 😁. Thank you! I have yet to make it to Alaska, but it's on the list
Response: Oh my gosh how embarrassing! I am so sorry, thank you for the heart and for the extra effort in taking care of the rating. Sincerely appreciated!
Comment: Got the alien face card today. I will display this Covid-19 remembrance next to the Y2K bug someone made for me in 1999 when we were all facing the coming of 2000.
Thanks for the awesome swap.
Response: You are welcome! I am so glad you liked it. It sounds like you have a really cool collection going. I would say I hope it does not grow anymore, but we seemed to be cursed to live in interesting times.
Comment: Oh man! I love the snowy terrain! I just do not enjoy the cold that goes with it. They make snow everyday here in Orlando due to the theme parks. I love this snow since it's not too cold there! My service dog loves doing snow angels in the snow!!
Response: That sounds like a wonderful combo: cool snow and warm weather. Hope you have a magical day!
Comment: I've read 10 of the books on your list so we have a lot of the same tastes. I bought the Frankie Pratt Scrapbook as well as the authors other scrapbook novel, The War Bride's Scrapbook. A few on your list are in my library queue waiting on availability and I did add 3 more based on your recommendation!! Thanks so much
Response: Oh that makes my day! I also got some great ideas based on the books you listed. It's always cool to connect with another reader who shares your tastes.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card (Monet, I believe), your note, and the great PCs.
We have been to both Sedona and the Grand Canon. We were at the North Rim in the winter, with a fresh fall of snow... beautiful!
Response: Oh wonderful! I miss the west so much and am always glad to connect with other people who love it out there too. Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for the nice postcards and the cool black and white cards too - my husband is Polish, so I will have to show him the "Miss Polish Job" card for sure! Oh, how fun it is that you sent an iceberg card - too funny, I love it! I hope all is well with you and your family. Stay safe and healthy!
Response: So glad you liked the cards! I have had that retro one forever and somehow knew you would like it. Cards are such weird and wonderful windows into other times and places.
Comment: I've never seen RED, but you sure paint a picture! 😆
Response: Thank you! I liked your "Stargate of Thrones" suggestion too. I used to love Stargate and I think I have watched all the episodes of the original series and Atlantis although it has been a while. Hope you are having a great weekend!
Comment: Hi Margaret, I got to see a Picasso exhibit years ago and went in thinking "this isn't going to be good" but was blown away and really enjoyed it. So glad you enjoyed your trip to the museum too. Thank you for the postcard!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful postcards! They are all very interesting, but my favorite was the ignition illustration! Yay! Thank you for including it. This is my first blank postcard swap, and I'm hooked! And it's making me use a lot of exclamation points!!!
Comment: Thank you, Margaret. The hot air balloon is my favorite too. I've only gone up in one once, but it was an exhilarating experience. We were part of a "Hounds and Hare" chase and crash landed in a field of cows!
Comment: Hello Margaret! Thank you so much for the lovely postcards you sent to fulfill this swap. . . you always send such nice cards that I do a happy dance when you're my sending partner! My fav is the polar bear zoo card ;+)
Comment: Thanks for the postcard. Great story about feeding the baby tiger!! If I had a bucket list, I think I'd add that to it. I'm also a big fan of the Animal postcard box. I just ordered my 2nd one! It was neat to receive a card from the box since I've sent so many.
Comment: Margaret, what an awesome postcard! I can't believe how many books you read in such a short time! I wish I could do that! Thank you so much for joining in my swap and sending a great postcard!
Comment: Thanks for the great card. I am absolutely typical of the guys from Oklahoma who also have my parents... There are as many as three of us! :) Yeah, I grew up in a college town and I guess we just gravitated toward a more cosmopolitan sensibility. Many people I grew up with are very much typical of the stereotype.
Comment: What a wonderful selection of PCs, and bonus ones besides! Thank you so much for a great envie full of visual delights. I'm particularly enchanted by the high-stepping B&W woman, the nine nosy newts, the alligator in the cup, the Earth Goddess & the elephant educational chart. A wonderful swap!
Comment: Really delightful cards, especially enjoy the black and whites. Love that retro gal with the frilly nightie, fancy slippers, curtains and AC unit! And oh, my, that surfer and board -- and elephant in Paris! Thanks for an extra, too.You always send interesting postcards!
Comment: Margaret, thank you for your nice note. It has been a very cold winter here. We usually do not get snow or extreme coldness, but this year we have had both. Another snow storm for tonight. We just do not have the equipment for snow or ice removal. Thank you for the great postcards you sent. Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the scientific floral pc. And thank you for frequenting your public library so often! I haven’t decided if I’m going to start a reading challenge or not this year. I like the freedom to choose what I like depending on recommendations or my personal preferences. 🧠Good luck with your reading challenges!
Comment: Thank you very much Magaret for the super selection of postcards. I have been to Belgium so that was a nice memory, those peaches look delicious! Love those colours on the buildings. Nice to see your home town too and ta also for the map card :)
Comment: It is always so good to see you at my mailbox - you always send such perfect PCs for a swap - thank you so very much. I especially enjoyed the gondola PC - how fun it must be to get around in those! Thanks again and have a great week ~~
Response: Oh what a wonderful rating! Thank you for the kind words - I always enjoy seeing your swaps arrive too.
Comment: Thanks for the 3 great large animal PCs - they are all magnificent animals. My son lives in Maine and they have a lot of moose up there - what amazing creatures. Thanks again and happy swapping ~~
Comment: Thanks much for the cards, Margaret! As much as I like the space/astronaut card, my favorite has to be the eclipse one. I saved one of those cool ink eclipse stamps so will place in on that card and it will really be a keeper. I like cards that depict once-in-a-lifetime events, and this certainly qualifies. Thanks for the great stamps, too!
Response: Awesome, that sounds like a great plan for the card and I am so glad you liked the whole selection too :).
Comment: Yes, these are totally perfect for me!! Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and send me so many great postcards. I'm in love with the mule deer - so beautiful. All the postcards are awesome, thank you!!!!! : )
Comment: Thank you so much for the fabulous PCs! It was really nice learning more about your life. I'm so glad you've had a turn around from the past, and I'm so happy for you for your future plans. :)
Comment: Thank you for your PC! It may not be the most cheerful one I get in this series, but it will likely be the most meaningful, and that makes it extra special to me. My uncle was a forest ranger and firefighter in MT and CO and my parents were both volunteer firefighters here in MI. I love when creativity takes over and let's us get out the things that need to come out. :)
Response: Oh I am so glad you liked it and that you also have a connection to firefighters. It means more than you know!
Comment: Thanks for the zentangle inspired heart. You're right that colored pencil on brown cardboard isn't the best choice - it's kind of hard to make out. The traditional black ink on white paper would be a lot easier to see. Have you ever seen [Linda's List](http://tanglepatterns.com/zentangles/list-of-official-tangle-patterns) of patterns? It's a good how-to.
Response: Thank you so much for the link! It was my first attempt at a zentangle so I appreciate the help.
Comment: Thank you for the great selection of postcards Margaret. The recipe card made me smile, the cake looks delicious but the ingredients for it are very strange indeed! I would probably eat it if I didn't know what was in it :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the 5 senses postcards that you sent to me! I love them all! I had to smile when you mentioned that Coca-Cola reminded you of Christmas, because the Coca-Cola Santa is always one of my favorite Christmas symbols!! The wolf and elk postcards were great too! I would love to see the Grand Canyon in person some day! And my Fiance has some Austrian heritage so I'm sure I've tasted some of the delicious things on that postcard as well! Thanks again!
Response: Oh I am so glad you liked what I sent! This was a fun swap - the scavenger hunts always area, but the different ones are the best.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely happy mail you sent me!! I loved the postcards and thank you for telling me about them. I really appreciate all those gorgeous stamps you used on the envelope 👌👌👌. Have a beautiful fall â¤â¤â¤
Comment: loved the postcard and quote. You forgot to put the whole swap name and swap-bot on the card - I really had to look around to find you. I looked at my WTA and RAK lists first and then thought to check here. lol
Comment: Thank you so much for your thoughtful selection of cards & the cool extra for this swap. No need to apologize for including a touristy card. I join a lot of swaps in which it's hard not to, & anyway, that's quite a stunning view of the sheep in Ireland!
Comment: I just returned from my trip to NC to view the total eclipse & found 2 great swaps from you in my stack of mail. Lucky me! I love Buffalo Bill & his horse especially, & of course the extra Anchor Line poster card is right up my alley. The intriguing notecard of the priestess is wonderful too. Thank you so much.
Response: Oh you are welcome! So glad you enjoyed the selections, this was a really fun swap for me too.
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome package! I love the postcards and stamps and loved reading the things from Yellowstone National Park, Chico, and Driggs! What a fun package to receive! I loved it!
Comment: Thank you for the awesome Yellowstone card! I haven't been there since I was a kid, and I keep meaning to go back, but the crowds are daunting. Fingers crossed for your October trip...I feel the same way. :-/
Comment: Thanks a lot for your gorgeous Canada map card - I love it! I just had Canadian friends visiting us and we had such a great time. Here, it's still hot, over 30°C, no sign of autumn yet... I also loved your stamps!
Comment: â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ Love the stamps on the envelope and the cards are so pretty. Funny that You are from Yellowstone as we were just on holidays and discussed going back through Yellowstone as it's been years since I've been there, also I just talked my dad into going there in his way to Dakota. Thank you for everything, very much appreciated. 😀â¤ï¸
Comment: Love, love, love the postcard you painted for me :) The colors are gorgeous and my favorites! I agree that painting is therapeutic -- I completely forget about whatever is stressing me as soon as I start arting :)
Response: So happy and excited and inspired that you loved this PC! I have loved mail art since before I knew what it was, but have gone in and out of it as so many have ... and as it has gotten more popular it has gotten more intimidating to get back in each time I leave to focus on life etc. Thank you for your inspiring response and much praise for your kindness.
Comment: Ok - 1st - WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! The postcards you sent are LITERALLY some of my favorite places I've camped, back-packed or explored. 2nd - your PO box...tell me you aren't blessed enough to live where it says?!?! Dang. Loved them all, thank you so much.
Response: Wonderful! It always feels great to send cards that people really enjoy. And yes, I am in Yellowstone since the winter (moved from the Grand Canyon last year) so I am having a good western NPS run of it at this point in life.
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful post cards. They are so perfect.! I love each and everyone! All my favorite things Dogs, Elk, Yellowstone, Buffalo, and american western history. Best Swap ever!
Response: Hip Hip Hooray! We keep joining the same swaps, so I will probably be sending more soon.
Comment: Wow! Such an incredibly generous and profile specific assortment of postcards! I got a special chuckle from the pc of the manneken pis...I was there decades ago and that statue is now on a Brussels postage stamp, I just got one last week on an international swap item. You really sent me some wonderful cards that will stay in my collection, thanks so much! PS...I am also a postcrossing member but I've never been to a meeting..........................You did send this twice, LOL!!! I liked the first assortment better, but you still get a heart!!!
Response: Thank you for the heart and I am so happy you loved the cards! Surprises are the best part about Swap-Bot. ... actually I just double checked and I think I sent you this again today by accident, so you will get it 2x! Enjoy :).
Comment: Hello, and thank you for the generous packet of postcards. What a beautiful part of the country you live in -- I have visited in. In fact, one Memorial Day weekend, I was snowed in at Yellowstone Park! Fortunately, was able to get a room at the Old Faithful Lodge (such a fantastic place -- it was during season 1 of Twin Peaks TV series and we freaked out at all the wood, just like on the show!). I also used to live in Glasgow, home of the Anchor Line, though I don't think there is much shipbuilding there any more. Enjoy your summer -- it must be busy there with visitors. All the best, Al
Response: Oh what a wonderful bunch of coincidences! Thank you so much for the kind reply and I am glad you had a lovely time in Yellowstone.
Comment: I am LOVING this swap~ hahah!! Thank you so much!! This is EXACTLY how I wanted people to interpret this swap! FUN, CRAZY and creative~! You ROCKED it!!! Thank you SO MUCH!! SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!
Response: Wonderful!!! This was fun, the kind of swap you remember for years to come.
Comment: Thank you for the resend! I didn't see a note but based on the stones, think this one is from you. There are so many wonderful goodies, very much appreciated. I LOVE the "perfect" stone...after the mistake I made a work today, it truly was the "perfect" phrase. Thank you again! ♥
Response: Yes that was me! I thought I sent a note but maybe it got lost in the shuffle ... so happy you loved the stones and the gifts, and it was a wonderful swap in the end. I had trouble with two rock swaps that drove me a bit batty for a while but all's well that ends well ... happy swappers make me very happy :).
Comment: Onyx, girl you outdid yourself. What an amazing array of wonderful treats. I can't thank you enough. the rocks were adorable, the postcards were awesome, a cutsie rain guage, tea. It was the most delightful swap ever, and worth the wait. Many hearts to you, and thank you again!!!!?
Response: Wonderful! So happy you are happy with the rocks and the extras, and it worked out with the resend. I really work hard to make partners happy so hearing swaps are extra great is awesome!!
Comment: Oh Gosh they are perfect choices.for me. I love each and every one you chose. I hope you get a super swapper in the near future for being such a good sport and resending. People like you make SB a great place XO
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful cards and the extra's. Not only do I like them all but appreciate that you read my profile for my likes. I just started collecting the montage type cards so really love the Lancaster County Pennsylvania one. THANK YOU!
Response: Wonderful! So glad it was a hit. I had fun creating your swap envie because you are such an avid collector. If you ever want to do a private swap let me know.
Comment: WOW! What a WONDERFUL set of cards! I absolutely adore these little pc hunts and I think these are some of the nicest cards I have ever received in a hunt! I've never receive a marimekko card before. Everything is just amazing and really fits the category. Thank you SO much!
Response: Thank you for the wonderful rating! I try really hard to send people things they like so these kinds of comments make me really happy :).
Comment: LOVE LOVE LOVE the vintage car ad card - 1970 Econ-o-miser Carburetion! Thank you very much for sending such a nice keepsake. I hope you are settling in well in your new place and that things will be back to peachy soon.
Comment: I don't usually slip up like this. I actually archived this swap a while back and didn't notice I never received from you. Thank you for the incredible envie of art cards. I appreciate your making up for lateness. You were very generous. Happy swapping. ~Joy
Comment: Sorry for the delay on the rating! I fried my keyboard and had to repair the laptop... Anyhoo, I loved your selection of notecards- and all of the extra notecards!! Especially the moon/sun one and the homemade one! I love your photo of the ivy growing up the wall. Thanks so much for the lovely cards and for your patience! jen
Comment: Thank you so much for this postcard. I get to celebrate Christmas in February! This card only just arrived this week. It was postmarked 26 Nov 2011. I'm so glad it finally arrived :) Hopefully the ones from my 4 other partners will make it, too!
Response: Wonderful! Glad it arrived safely at long last. Joy is joy whenever it happens. Thanks for the heart and for hosting such great swaps!
Comment: This is a great PC and I agree that the letter is meant to be read and reread. think it's kept in the little open box so I wonder who the letter is from. . . a lover perhaps. . . .thanks for the great PC ~~
Response: Wonderful that you enjoyed the card and daydreaming about its contents as well. Thank you for the heart and hope you have a great new year.
Comment: You're so creative. To use that box. I kept thinking, she's so stinking smart. I love it. The envelopes are fantastic and the mail art ephemera. I can't wait to play. I heart it a thousand times over. Thankyou.
Response: So happy you liked the box, and all of the contents! Just could not resist using it for this swap, especially when it worked so well with the mail theme. Hope you enjoy playing and you make some great things to send!
Comment: Awsome "Envelope of Goodness" arrived today!! Thank you very much for ALL the lovely green-themed cards! Very much looking forward to using them. Thank you for your thoughtfulness AND generousity!!!
Response: Lovely! So happy you liked the options, this was a fun swap to put together and I am glad you liked opening it too.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely envelope, I do enjoy all the birds. I've never been a bird lover until VERY recently...odd, huh? I don't really "get" the I'M BIG IN ASIA postcard....that'll make me think for awhile! Love the Matisse card, he's one of my favorite artists. Again, thanks.
Response: I am glad the birds and the Matisse card were a hit! :) You are very welcome, and thank you for the kind rating and the heart.
Comment: Thanks so much! The envelope was beautiful!! Just a note for the future- if you write the address on the envelope so that it's vertical instead of the normal horizontal, then it's nonmachineable and needs 64 cents.
Response: I am so happy you liked the envelope and I am so sorry I did not realize that about the vertical thing ... I am very glad you told me because I liked how it looked and was planning to do it again soon. I will send you some postage to compensate :). You are always a fun swap partner!
Comment: Onyx, Love the postcard...I too like to visit national parks but have't had the chance for quite some time, I know my youngest son Anthony would really enjoy it too so we will have to take a trip to one sometime soon. Thanks so much! Lynnie
Response: Wonderful! Glad you liked the card and glad it found a good "home." Hope you have a wonderful summer, wherever your adventures may take you!
Comment: Ah, so awesome! :0) Thank you for the sweet note, your waxy-muppet-masterpiece and the extra picture so I can take part too! Love that your dog is named after fozzie! Did you know that there is a new muppet movie coming out? My husband showed me the preview just yesterday and it looks like it's going to be good! Thanks again; your swap put a huge smile on my face!
Response: So happy you loved it and it made you smile! I have not heard about the new Muppets movie but will have to check out the preview ... thank you for the head's up, and for the heart :).
Comment: What a great postcard of Multnomah Falls. Maybe I should add that to my road trip when I go through Oregon this summer. Thank you! I really like the old car in the image.
Response: I highly recommend it! Oregon is wonderful in general but that was one of the highlights of our trip out there a few years ago. So glad you liked the card ... since you are also a postcard lover, keep your eye out for that postcard artist whose work is available in the Northwest. I love his stuff!
Comment: That's a great postcard! My mom and I are in the process of planning a road trip across the northern part of the US from California to Indiana. She did it 40 years ago and visited the Badlands, but we probably won't be going that far north. What's up with that ink spot? I thought the same thing :-D
Response: Glad you loved the postcard and the road trip sounds like a blast! The ink spot is a huge mystery ... I may have to do some printing history investigative work or something :).
Comment: Such a wonderful kit! I love the pens and the notecards, the greeeeeeeen ink and all that you sent and the box is absolutely gorgeous! I love birds and such and it is green so it is perfect as are all the extras and bits you sent to help and inspire me in my mail art!!! I am so glad we were able to do this and look forward to swapping with you again someday =D
Response: Oh I am so glad it arrived safely and you loved it -- I had a great time putting it together for you. The box is one I have been saving for a while, it seemed like it would be good for a swap one day and when you suggested this one it seemed the perfect fit. Thanks again for hosting this one and for agreeing to take the picture when it arrived -- and I agree, I hope we are swap partners again too!
Comment: I LOVE your postcard!! It's so creative and makes me want to try something like yours. I have never did "mod podge" but I'm ready. Thank you so much for a fun swap. Hugs, Mona
Response: Wonderful I am so happy you liked it! Since then I have made several more postcards & I have really been loving the Mod Podge - highly recommend it. Thank you again for doing this swap, and thank you for the kind words and the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing your guilty pleasures with me. I'm not familiar with the books you mentioned, but given my love for the Baby Sitters Club, I may have to check them out. Beautiful card, btw.
Response: So glad you liked the card and perhaps you will like one of the books on the list too ... happy reading, and thank you for the heart :).
Comment: Love the card, thank you! Funny, I was just thinking the same thing today - had explained myself to someone and then found myself wondering why I felt compelled to do so!! :) Thanks for another fun swap.
Response: Glad you loved the card & the text ... and another great swap! Hope all is well your way & I look forward to more mail in the new year :).
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful ATCs! I love your pictorial references to their personalities and lives (like Judith Leyster's joker's cap to show her sense of humor). These are truly lovely! Thank you also for the letter with information about each remarkable woman. I agree, this swap was the most challenging by far, but what rewards!
Response: Truly relieved and sincerely happy you liked the cards, and letter! This was a VERY challenging swap and it makes me very proud you like how it turned out. Thank you so much for the high praise heart!
Comment: what a wonderful list of illustrators! I especially enjoyed learning about David Weisner & Jerry Pinkney! And Laughing Elephant does have some beautiful cards and goodies! And of course, being the dog fanatic I am, I have always loved Carl too! Thank you so much for sharing! Happy swapping & reading!
Response: So happy you liked the list and found so many new ones you enjoyed, as well as some old favorites. This was a fun swap! Thank you for the heart!
Comment: Well, that was truly a fun swap all the way around - to put together and now, to open! The darling little book stole the show amid all the other treats, and my daughter was delighted that it came WITH the charmed cutter (she helps me open all my swaps and I have a difficult time sometimes protecting 'MOMMY's goodies' when she spots a particular item!). I'm looking forward to reading both the book AND the letter (which itself would rate a heart! Hilariously written!) together with her. Thanks so much for a fun and thoughtful swap.
Response: So so happy you liked opening all the little envies with all the little goodies and the funny letter! This was a very fun swap, one of my favorites, and I really appreciate your thoughtful rating. I am thinking about starting a thread on the group forums so we can all share our letters with each other -- would you be interested?
Comment: I loved your 'fairly serious' ;) PC of the sun so much - oh! - you have no idea. :) I also realised that my 9 year old nephew knows more about the Solar System than I would ever have guessed which I wouldn't have known but for your PC, so thank you!
Response: Oh so happy you liked the card, and it led to good conversations with someone you love. Good mail connects us in many ways!
Comment: Got them both without any problems! And I love them!!
Response: Hooray! I am so glad that they arrived without trouble, and even happier that you liked both cards. Thank you for the quick rating and the much-appreciated heart, and best wishes on your swaps.
Comment: I loved your story! Fall is my favorite time of year and I've always wanted to go to a real craft show so the combination of the two sounds amazing. You did an awesome job of really making me feel like I was there with you... your words paint a beautiful picture!
Response: Wow, thank you so much for the kind words of appreciation and the great rating! I am so glad you liked the letter, and I hope you like the Kettle Corn too. Your appreciation and your heart are very much appreciated!
Comment: Hey Onyx, I loved your letter with the "Geeky Love Rundown" and your outer envelope was uber cool, as was the little handmade envelope of Harry grooviness & sheet of ATC possibilities. I didn't find the dino bookmark you spoke of or the TNG cards but I am more than happy with my goodies. Thanks so much and if I can get my butt-ocks in gear, you'll get a lettah back! Ann
Response: So glad you liked the package, and I am so sorry I left something out! I will put something in the mail to you on Monday. Thank you for giving me a heart anyway, and I look forward to your letter :).
Comment: Thanks for the great note and the very cool envies (I especially like the cabbage one - who knew I liked cabbage, lol). This is the very first Swap-bot package I've ever received. I will cherish it, Thank YOU!
Response: Oh wow, I am honored to be part of your first experiences on Swap-Bot and I am so glad you liked the envies! And thank you for the much-appreciated heart!
Comment: Wow! This ATC is wonderful! Draws you right in. Thank you for writing about your process of creating it too. The adorable, handmade ATC envelope is a nice touch.
Response: Oh I am so glad you liked it!! I have been looking forward to hearing what you thought about this one because it was my first city ATC, so I am very very happy you were pleased! Thank you for the kind words and the heart!
Comment: Wow - you went above and beyond! Thanks for the lovely note cards - I send a lot of them, so greatly appreciate your selections! The pretty ribbon around them all was a wonderful touch. Thanks for the thought you put into my package - I do appreciate it!
Response: So glad you liked the package, and the selection! Thank you for the quick rating and the heart :).
Comment: Oh! The wonderful old-time postcards really hit the mark. I appreciate the nature aspect and that you shopped just for me. Also, the coyote card is a keeper, for inspiration. Great swap!
Response: Oh I am so happy you loved them, especially because I was very happy with the cards for this swap! The colors, the vintage theme, the subject matter, they all seemed perfect for this swap and for you; it makes my day you thought so too :).
Comment: Amazing card! You did a wonderful job on your collage. Thank you very much!
Response: Oh my gosh I am so happy you liked it! I was happy with it, but I was nervous sending it to you because your profile is quite impressive, so this makes my day :). Thank you for the kind words and the heart!
Comment: that photo pc is funny-you could come up with some great loines each of those crankpants looking women were saying! lol! Doggies got pets in your name-thanks for thnking of 'em! Happy swapping!
Response: Glad you liked the card & thank you for the heart! Happy swapping to you too!
Comment: We love black bears! Thanks for sending such a great postcard! We were just up north (Grand Marais, MN), and had hoped to see a bear. I've seen several on past trips. Unfortunately, they hid from us on this trip. So, it was a pleasure to see a picture of one on your postcard when we returned from our trip today. Thanks!
Response: That is great timing! I am sorry you did not see any bears on your trip, but how wonderful that my card could make crashing back into post-vacation life a little more "bearable." Thanks for the nice story and the heart!
Comment: LOVE this postcard! Hilarious that it was so shocking that a doc was a woman. Totally reminds me of a joke from my childhood ... in a nutshell - straightforward scenario about a crash, father & son rushed to hospital ... surgeon cannot operate because "he's my son" ... who is the surgeon? Seriously everyone got stumped - there were theories about adoption, step-dads, everything but mom. *sigh* We've come a long way! Thanks for playing - this was so fun!
Response: So glad you loved the card, and I know exactly what you are talking about with that old joke ... I was thinking about that while I was sending the card. Thanks again for hosting this, it's been a super fun swap!
Comment: I'm so sorry you had to send it twice- I loved the original envelope (Too bad the post office didn't) I absolutely love the ATC and the envelopes were so creative too. You are very talented.
Thank you! =D
Response: Thank you for your kind words, I am pretty new so I really appreciate it! Glad it arrived so quickly and you were so happy. Thank you so much!
Comment: thank you and i COMPLETELY agree!! i get so irritated when people are "leaving" and just never do...it defers from the whole intent of the event and it's just plain rude, whether intentional or not! boo :(
Response: Glad I am not alone in my peevishness on that issue.
Comment: Thanks for a nice package. You might want to start saying what swap you are sending as it can be confusing not knowing which one it is! Thanks!
Response: Glad you liked the package, and thanks for the reminder - I usually do that but I must have forgotten with yours. Thank you too for taking the time to figure out the swap and give me a rating - much appreciated!
Comment: Wow! I can TOTALLY tell you read my profile. :) Colored ink, stickers, and one of my wishes. And the card itself! Love it. I am actually getting a Van Gogh quote tattooed on me in the coming weeks so this was absolutely perfect, my dear. Thank you.
Response: You are very welcome, and I am so glad you are pleased! Thank you so much for the kind comments and the heart, and good luck with your tattoo!
Comment: HAHA! What a great "ugly" PC. I love vintage PCs and even though this is corny-looking, I love it. Never sold ONE at all? That's crazy! :) Well, now you need to start a chain of "ugly" PC swaps. Great story!
Response: Glad you got a kick out of it! It was definitely an ugly card :).
Comment: Thank you for the great package. I can't wait to try the colored ink. I have only used black & its time to experiment. Very happy to get the Dots. I have seen alot of people request them and I am anxious to also try them. Loved everything in my package of goodies. Hugs & Hearts to you, Mona
Response: So glad you liked the package! I put a lot of energy into that one and I am glad it was a hit :).
Comment: Well, I do like historical cards and so dees my son in law..but, you got 50 free??!!!!! WOW, I see why no one else ever bought one..You must be the talk of the town by now..the lady that bought that card!!!!!!!
Response: It was a pretty bizarre exchange all the way around ... but then, that's a pretty bizarre post card! Glad you got a kick out of it.
Comment: Thanks so much for the cards! I really appreciate the extras. Just tonight a guy in my company flew from Denver to XNA and will stay in Fayetteville tonight and then on to a Wal-Mart meeting in Bentonville tomorrow. If he hadn't of sounded so tired today, I would have suggested he stop on Dickson Street! I will try to remember to IM you soon about a private swap-those space cards you mentioned sound interesting! thanks again, Carol
Response: Always nice to meet someone else who knows about NWA! Definitely let me know if you are interested in the space cards, until then thanks for the rating and the heart :).
Comment: Hello- This is seriously the best postcard I have gotten in years! I would give you a hundred hearts if I could. It is so unique and really pretty. My little brother used to fish Lake Michigan for trout, but sadly, he passed away suddenly two weeks ago. This card reminds me of him. Thanks so much.
Response: Wow what a great review! Makes my day - thank you!
Comment: Onyx... Thanks very much for the neat card. I love the old car! I was born in 1942 and my Dad had cars from the late 30's and early 40's when I was growing up. We once had a beautiful 1936 Packard Lemo. that I simply loved! ~Gail
Response: Oh I am so glad you liked it! And the Packard sounds gorgeous :). Thank you for the cool comment and the heart!
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely letter, I have never heard of a Bunko group before, it sounds like a huge stress reliever and loads of fun.The card was very thoughtful, it is crazy how much hotter the sun got in just between 97-99 could only image what those pics look like today. very much enjoyed reading your letter
Response: I am so glad you liked it! Thank you for your kind comments, and the heart too.
Comment: Enjoyed the card and your note on so many levels. Two years ago, I had the opportunity to "chase a dream". After living in NJ my entire life, I left . . . drove across the country . . . and decided to make Oregon my new home!
Response: Oh that is wonderful!! Glad you enjoyed the note and the card, and thank you so much for the heart :).
Comment: This is a beautiful card! I love the southwest, and catci are probably my favorite plant, especially when they are in bloom! Thanks also for visiting my blog. It's funny - the more I collect vintage postcards, the more I am interested in the messages as well as the image on the front. I do have a Postcard Century. It is fascinating!
Response: Oh I am so glad you have that book, it just seemed so perfect with your blog. I was actually in a flea market earlier today flipping through old postcards and thinking about that book and about you. So it makes me very happy to know your card arrived safely and you loved it, and you already have made that connection ... moments like this are why I love Swap-Bot!
Comment: Thanks for the gorgeous coloring of Hello Kitty, my little sister is a Hello Kitty fanatic and has already stolen it to hang in her bedroom and is going to color the other one to send to her boyfriend at boot camp.
Response: Oh I am so glad they were a hit! And thank you for the heart :).
Comment: So very much blue! YAY! Loved the balloon envelope (as well as the contents, of course!). I've always been fascinated with hot air balloons. Thank you so much for a lovely and thoughtful envie - it totally made my day.
Response: Oh hooray, I love hearing you are pleased! And thank you for the heart!
Comment: Really lovely card- and perfect for me! Where did you get the image on the front? Love it. And yes- I do watch "Castle" just to get my Fillion-fix. Thank you so much! Liz
Response: So happy you liked it! The front image is from an old address book I have that is made up of images from a decorating book called "The Relaxed Home." I keep meaning to try to track down that book, because all of the images I have seen so far are easy and open like the one I sent you.
Comment: Thank you for sharing your stories about Zeus, Connor, Randa, and Fozzie! Your dogs all sound/sounded like wonderful friends. I especially fell in love with Connor. I hope that Fozzie and Randa are doing well~! Everything reminded me of the two dogs my family and I lost recently. But, as you said, life gets a little better once again.
Response: Thank you for your kind words and I am so happy you enjoyed the letter. It is always nice to connect with people who enjoy the company of fur folk! My condolences on your recent loss, but hopefully life continues to get better for you as well.
