Comment: Thanks for the nice postcard, I'll add it to those hanging on my door :) I'm collecting all the HP postcards I receive <3 My favorite character is Severus Snape (Severus Piton in italy hahah) while my favorite movie is the first one: The Philosopher's Stone :)
Comment: HA! I love that you have a postcard addiction too. I took a big break from Swapbot but somehow kept acquiring postcards...so now I'm back on here joining every postcard swap I can to just get these cards MOVING! I have a problem too...lol.
Comment: Hi! Thank you for the postcard. Banana cream pie is delicious. I love speciality cupcakes too, but sometimes I find them too sweet and only looking good. Sometimes it's ok to just eat with your eyes lol.
Comment: Hmm...tough call! I think it's ugly just because I don't like the yellow on it. Would be better if it was just the actual picture of the monument. But thank you, and yes it's perfect for this swap!
Comment: Thanks for the nice PC and note. I didn't even think of The Lost Boys. It was one of my favorite movies but I haven't watched it in... decades. I don't even think I have it in my Horror DVD collection. I'll have to cure that.
Comment: Thanks for the notecard and washi tape
The contents and card were in a postal envelope. The machine totally destroyed it.
Even though the Washi tape Cardboard was destroyed I will be able to use it. Was also able to read note
Comment: Thank you for the Fairy candle. The packaging was over the top. The candle smells amazing. The Etsy dealer even put in some free samples of wax melts. Again, this was a wonderful swap. Thank you.
Response: I'm so happy that you like it! You were fun to shop for, we like a lot of the same things and I also love candles so it was fun looking for the perfect one for you :) I really appreciate and love the care that Etsy sellers put into their packaging...I do SO MUCH shopping on that site lol
Comment: Danielle, thank you for the cute kitty and puppy notecard, and the awesome Harry Potter stickers and postcard! Wow! I was so excited when I saw them! I love it all, thanks for such a great swap❤️
Comment: Thank you for your lovely email, I loved reading about your cats. I also loved that Trixie was named after one of the characters in my favourite books to read (I named my son after the main character too lol, I felt like Harry was a strong british name too) and I just loved the pictures they look so fluffy and cuddly.
Happy swapping xoxo
Comment: Thank you for sharing! I loved reading through your answers :D I got myself a Switch for Christmas a year ago, my favorite game is Overcooked haha. I just recently got Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and Mario Party !
Comment: Haha, no judgement, I imprinted hard on Vader as a small child on my first watch-through! (These days competition for my no. 1 fave is pretty stiff, though, and poor Vader has been demoted a few places...don't tell him.)
Comment: What an awesome hobby. Both of my daughters (aged 23 and 19) are game players too. They both got a Switch for their bdays this year :) Personally I like playing Monkey Ball but I don't know if its playable with the newer systems. I always pull out the Wii to play that one.
Comment: Super cool vintage City Jail postcard! I love when these old buildings are turned into restaurants or BnB's... I wonder what happened with this one. Thanks for sharing! Stay safe and be well. xo
Comment: Thank you so much for the cute card Danielle. I love the stickers. It's nice here today, had back door open. Chilly at nights. My Easter Lily is beginning to grow! Bought it almost dead from Lowes last year, now there are 5 of them!! not bad for 99 cents! Happy Spring!
Comment: Thank you soo much for your wonderful email about the cuts - Trixie and Rusty are both very cute - I really like Maine Coons! The stories you wrote me made me smiling, and unfortunately, this is why I won't have a cat for a while :( I live in a small rented flat, therefore I cannot afford any damages in the furniture or jumping up on the table in the kitchen, it's totally not safe for cats :( Thanks God my rabbit prefers staying on the ground, or maximum on my bed! :)
Comment: Hey, hey! Always a pleasure to swap with you again! Yes, March is here. Our weather has been unseasonably hot (upper 70s / lower 80s), but should return to normal (upper 60s / lower 70s) soon. Winter and spring are our best times of year in sunny Arizona. I didn't know there's a new Punky Brewster show...I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the washi! Best, Rick
Comment: (Sorry for rating late - I honestly thought I had already rated you for this and now while cleaning up my swaps list, I found out I didn't) Thank you very much for sharing! <3 I keep my fingers crossed for you to see some live music again quite soon and that you can do better at your new years resolutions this year. :)
Comment: Danielle - thank you for all of the stickers. I do love stickers to much! I hope you were able to get the scratching board ramp thing for your cats. I can only imagine they loved it! Take care and keep on swapping...
Comment: Thank you for the postcards, I love the Niagara Falls card, I have always wanted to visit there and take the Maid of the Mist boat ride and my husband and I LOVE the black kitty that looks like our Romeo after he's gone outside to roll around in the dirt and leaves, ha! I hope all is well with you and that you have a lovely week, take care!
Comment: Thank you for sharing. I loved reading your answers. And thank you for adding the pics. Your cats are adorable, by the way. I would love to go to the concert right now, or club, or cinema or... you know :)
Comment: Color TV, individual temperature controls for each room AND 24hr Switchboard Service...I'm looking for this Howard Johnson the next time I'm in CT! Thanks for the fun swap & best wishes to you.
Comment: Thanks for the swap.
I really cut back on Facebook. I have never in my life held anyone's political views against them but it is going to be very hard for me to forget the blatant hatefulness of some people.
Comment: I looked up Ska music on youtube because of your profile, and watched some videos from the 50/60s and I loved it. Its funny how you can know a music a little from the sound, but not know what its called!
Comment: Thank you for sharing. Russians always cook big family dinner for New Year eve. Chinese delivery sounds do refreshing. I saw this tradition in movies - may be I'll try it next year. Oh, and Cat Wars calendar sounds so cool.
Comment: I've never seen a band live. In 2019 I was actually planning to see my first live concert and then Covid. :( All shows canceled until at least the end of this year. But at least we're all healthy, that's what matters most now. ^_^ I hope you have fun planning on how to live together, it's a very exciting time. Make sure to discuss your furniture plans before going to IKEA, I always saw lots of people arguing there, lol. XD Thanks for sharing.
Comment: Always a pleasure to be swapping with you again! I agree, it was great to stay home and not run around on Christmas. Our family has a total of 8 Christmas' once you consider extended families, in-laws, a "friends" celebration, etc. It was really nice to stay home, relax, and just celebrate with my wife and son. I hope you had a wonderful holiday! Best, Rick
Comment: Hi! Thank you for the note and washi tape! I hope that you are not getting as many migraines as you did. I've been having trouble sleeping too and I'm not quite sure what's causing me to wake up abruptly.... Anyway, take care! may the new year find you with better sleep and less migraines!
Comment: Hi Danielle! Thanks for the postcard and I loved hearing about your week! I’m so sorry to hear about the stink bugs but I hope you had a fantastic Christmas celebration! Take care and happy new year xx
Comment: Thank you for the cute llama card and the tuck-ins. Christmas did come very quickly this year. I usually make at least one gift for each person at Christmas, but didn't even attempt this year. Didn't want the extra stress. Guess I'll start in July next year, then maybe I'll get things done by Christmas. Here's to a stressless 2021!
Comment: Thank you for the cute Christmas card and the extras. I love the stickers. I hope your Christmas stress has eased up and you are enjoying the holiday season. I think it’s lovely that you are making something special to go with your Christmas gifts. That truly is the spirit of Christmas. Enjoy your quiet Christmas!
Comment: Have to agree with you, it's a pretty bland Christmas postcard. But it does say Merry Christmas and I send the greeting back at cha', I hope you have a good Christmas however you spend it. We spend every 2nd year with our family - this year was to be that 2nd year, but even if it was to be our traveling year we wouldn't be doing that either! We will make the best of it because everyone is healthy so all is well. Best to you and yours and may the New Years stop all this crap and allow some normalcy back into our lives.
Comment: I have watched Shameless! I watched the UK one before the US one came out, and then when the USA one started and my co-worker would start bugging me I would start telling her things that hadn't happened yet in the American version... I'm not up to date on the US one anymore, I've been meaning to try to get caught up.
Comment: Thank you for the cute card and nice note. Your Thanksgiving sounds like it was very nice. I usually make my own Christmas cards, but don't think it will happen this year. I've always wanted to try jewelry making, maybe that will be my goal for next year. :) Thank you for the cute tuck-ins too! Take care!
Comment: Thank you for the washi tapes, Danielle :) I really like the one with the feathers, and I noticed many of them have gold foils on them. The stamp you used is so adorable as well. Happy swapping.
Comment: I just started shopping for our one granddaughter, got perfect gifts but at a cost. Out other granddaughter texted me 68 pictures of stuffed animals she wants, so I sent her a text back say 'sooooo you want a toothbrush, she's going crazy wracking her brain trying to figure our if I'm serious or not LMAO. I'm going to get her a toothbrush and hide the stuffies LOL
I hope you have a better week at work.
Comment: Thank you for everything! i love the flowers. We didnt do Halloween. My husband worked til midnight, I went to bed at 8pm. We live on 4 acres private driveway...so no kids. I do not think its too early for Christmas cards!! Ive started!!LOL It will bring you joy!!
Comment: What a great postcard! I miss NYC too! I was there last November for the Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall. Coronavirus ruined all my travel plans this year so let's hope 2021 is better for all of us!
Comment: Thanks so much for the card. I definitely had a love/hate relationship with school as well. I loved some subjects (Lit/math), but other subjects I was horrible at!! I'm sorry that you were bullied. :( I hope that's turned around for you. I like your profile!!! Happy swapping!!
Comment: Hi Danielle! How are you? Thank you so much for the beautiful card and the awesome stickers - the anime ones are so cool!! I'm so sorry that your friend had COVID but I'm glad they're doing better now - though I'm not surprised they still have a dry cough from it after all this time. It's crazy! I hope you and your mom stay safe!!!
Comment: Thanks for the PC. Darn postal service inked the wrong side of the card the first time, but I think the card is supposed to look like a suitcase with stickers so could say it adds to the ‘well-travelled’ look lol!
Comment: Hi Danielle! Thanks for the cute Halloween pc and the share - congrats on the weight loss! Sorry about your work computer dying but how awesome that you got a new one so quickly! Wishing you all the best and please stay safe! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thanks for the swap and the nice photos.
I go to a riverside park in Portsmouth, NH for intense Pokemon Go.
We got that same storm. I had been hoping for more rain. We have been in the worst drought in over 30 years here. I'm surprised every time I turn on the tap and my well still gives me water. We got a good soaking two days ago but need much more to replenish the groundwater levels.
Comment: Thank you for the Halloween card. I wanted to be a witch this year, but we are not having a Halloween get together because of corvid. But your card looks just like me...HAHA. Have a great Halloween. P.S. Thanks for the goodies.
Comment: Thanks so much for the PC you sent ... I've never been to Vermont, though I have been to Connecticut and Rhode Island before and it was lovely up there in the New England states. Have a nice day, Danielle! 😀
Comment: Way to go on a couple of things - big bill payoff (I have one too that never seems to go away) and loss of weight - YAHOOOOO, two big things!!!! Our weather has been rain and more rain, didn't even bother washing my truck this summer because it just rained aaaallllllll summer. Going to have to move somewhere where we can at least see the sun once in awhile. Keep thinking positive thoughts to get you through those down days. Oh and I love the PC, thank you for reading my profile :)
Comment: Danielle, thank you! I'm always amazed when mail makes it all the way across the world to me in Australia. I like this swap because I don't think this washi was ugly at all hehe. Hope you're well!
Comment: Thank you very much for the "Wicked" Halloween PC. Halloween is cancelled here in Canton, PA, due to Pandemic here sadly. Just when we thought things were getting better too. We are on mandatory lock down & masks are full time in & outside.
Comment: Ooh, love this NYC card! You're lucky to be so close! I was there two years ago celebrating my anniversary. I could just walk around on a cool Fall day forever there. Here's to traveling soon, when we can! :):)
Comment: Thank you, Danielle, for sending me the beautiful postcard of Baltimore the Power Plant. Glad to read the positive and negative things happened in your life recently and I do hope everything's running well afterward. I am on my diet too since I am being a little bit heavier (I need to control my workout *sigh*). Stay safe and stay healthy. Love from Indonesia <3
Comment: Happy Halloween! Thank you for the card. I stopped trick or treating in 8th grade...I had every intention of doing it, went to a Halloween party and walked around with friends but hung out on the sidewalk with my friend's mom instead of getting candy, I said, "I am 13, I am TOO OLD to trick or treat!" Ha! I love to dress up and pass out candy too, so I will miss doing that this year for sure. :(
Comment: I agree with all of those choices, but man The Office makes me cringe too much lately haha. You should check out IT Crowd, you might like it. Also I was obsessed with Ska in High School- I still listen but I use to dress with skirts over pants and skank around to Big D all the time. They play the most amazing shows!
Comment: Thank you for the card. It is so cute. I love Darth Vader and the little princess Leia. The "Be Brave" sticker is awesome and I love the washi tape samples. I don't have any like them so they are a nice addition.
Comment: Thank you for sending me your favorite postcard! I’ve been to Cape Cod but not the monument. I’m proud of you too! PAs are not easy. I nearly had one recently wearing a mask, so my doctor gave me a medical exemption. Fortunately everyone has been pleasant about it.
Comment: Thank you so much for the amazing Harry Potter card which is new to my collection. Yes I'm familiar with the Civil War reenactment, never seen it myself but would love to visit the south someday.
Comment: What great postcards! I don’t live far from Corsicana . I hadn’t seen that temple. I guess I’ll need to take a day trip there. Very cool. I love the agent 86 postcard. I enjoyed watching reruns of Get Smart. You really made my day. Thanks so much.
Comment: Danielle, Thanks so much! I also liked Parks & Rec better than Community, which was more of a slow burn for me. A lot of the actors in Community have now participated in other shows that I really like, so it might be worth checking out IMDB for some follow-ups.
Comment: For me, the best part of opening envelopes is the random items that fall out of the envelope! I loved all the sticker flakes you included!! My bucket list is to also visit Japan someday and I'm going to take 2 suitcases to fill it up with Japan stationery goodies haha!
Comment: I love the bookworm pin and will wear it proudly -- thank you so much!! (Though just for future reference, it might make more sense to mail a pin in a padded envelope -- the rubber back had punctured both layers of packaging by the time I got it. It's still in good working order, though!)
Comment: Extra money on OT is always a blessing. Thanks for the advice to watch Waco. I still remember it but would enjoy learning more. Hope you had a great 4th weekend. Thanks for the 2 notecards...happy swapping.
Comment: Thanks for sharing such interesting facts :) I can't believe you got to see your favorite band 150 times! That would be a dream for me!! I too have had many concert tickets postponed :( let's hope we can get back to concerts soon
Comment: Thanks for sharing. Never heard of your favorite bands but I'm sure I can look them up. So special that that celebrated your 100th show. I just watched my favorite band doing a live stream concert which was really cool. I'll look up ska music and all the others you mentioned. I'm sorry your traveling plans are canceled. Hope you and your best friend will see each other soon again.
Comment: Hi Danielle! Thank you for the notecard and the sweet tuck ins you included, I love them!! They'll definitely be put to good use. You asked about my favorite anime - it's been so long since I've watched any (and I'm more of a fan of manga lol) but one of my top faves is Nichijou and Sailor Moon! <3
Comment: Hi Danielle, thanks for the great Cape Cod postcard. I like K.S. movies too, & I remember a movie theater in Portland OR played "Chasing Amy" every Monday for a $1 in the late 90's. My bf & I went multiple weeks in a row. Take care ;)
Comment: Thank you for the Statue of Liberty card. I have never been to New York but I have seen smaller replicas. We actually have one on our capitol grounds that was bought and donated by the boy scouts in 1950. This is only a couple of miles from my home.
Comment: Thank you for the Ruby falls PC. I would love to see this! Esp. the caves! So, you like to see Japan? I'm not sure I would, since all the stories i heard. But i would so love to the Virgin Islands!
Comment: Hi Danielle! Thank you for the nice notecard and all of the wonderful goodies! Love the colors. I'm just learning to make ATCs and I can envision the goodies on ATCs. Right now we are watching Eureka. I'm not much for SciFi but it is entertaining. I enjoyed Mrs. Maizel and can't wait until the next season come out. I keep meaning to watch Parks and Rec. I watched some episodes when it was on but would like to binge watch all episodes. Take care and thanks again!
Comment: Thank you for the great postcard from Pittsburgh. I'm glad you made it out there. I dated someone once who moved to Pittsburgh during the relationship, so I spent a lot of time there. I liked the city. Thank you again, and I hope you get to travel soon! Stay safe and stay young at heart!
Comment: I'll be sure to check out Reel Big Fish! Also, I am a huge Disney fan and actually saw Suburban Legends in Tomorrowland a few years ago, I enjoyed the trombones a lot. Look forward to hearing from you again!
Comment: Great list! I also read VC Andrews in high school! My niece is reading the Warriors books. They sound very unique. When we FaceTime she gives me all the details of the one she is currently reading. I enjoyed reading your lists and comments.
Comment: Thanks for the postcards! I want to go to Galveston to the beach for at least a week ASAP! Also had been planning on going to Kansas City this summer but not sure about that anymore- can’t believe you have snow! Here in Louisiana my kids are swimming in the pool! So glad they can do that to get exercise and keep occupied!
Comment: All the best for Phil! I hope he's getting used to online schooling! Its nice that you two live next door to each other so you can see each other everyday! I also got Animal Crossing and am loving it! What's your island called?
Comment: Oh I love Nashville too! I've only been once but definitely want to go back. I had so much fun when I was there! I tell people that if you go to Nashville and don't have a good time that's your own fault! Stay safe and be well.
Comment: I am extremely sorry due to the fast that my rating is coming late 😢 I didn’t the spam folder last week. I finally find your email today Danielle and it makes my day. Your words and photos inspire me when you wrote about New Found Glory...I have to admit I have never listed them before ... they are better than an energy drink 🥤🔝 🤟🎸👩🎤🧑🎤👨🎤🎸🤟🔝
Comment: Thanks for the Mad-eye Moody PC. Sirius Black is pretty awesome, I would have to agree. I heart butter beer is pretty darn sweet, my friends went to Universal and had to share one cup of it, ha! Take care and be safe out there!
Comment: Thanks for sharing what spring means to you and including pictures with it. spring can mean similar things to most people but we all have a personal experience about spring. Thanks for sharing yours.
Comment: Thank you for the ugly plane card. LOL I think it's indeed a kind of boring one. But these swaps are great to get rid of those and I just love spotting the ugly ones in my mailbox for these swaps :) Thanks! Stay safe!
Comment: Thank you so much for this unique and beautiful PC!! Some of my races have indeed been cancelled, and I have decided to pull out of the ones that have not (yet). I'll keep training and come back even stronger next season. The super up side will be saving quite a bit of cash on reg fees! :) Keep up the good work and doing what you're doing! The first steps are the hardest ones to take. I wasn't always where I'm at now :) You are doing great - you got this!
Comment: Hi Danielle! Thanks for the "ugly" PC. I agree that it is just kind of a weird PC and doesn't really have a purpose. Maybe you're supposed to write a little something in the box above the airplane? I understand the urge to buy PCs you don't really care for, just to have them. LOL I used to do that a lot, but it was my new years resolution to stop buying PCs and other stationery related stuff if I didn't think I'd have a use for it. It's been going really well, actually. -Virginia
Comment: Oh my gosh!! I'm always so excited to meet someone else who has similar interests as me. ;v; My favorite Sanrio character probably is Hello Kitty, but there's others (that I unfortunately can't remember rn ;;; ) that are a bit more obscure that are cute too! I haven't watched anime in so long, but I've enjoyed Fruits Basket, Inuyasha, Azumanga Daioh, and Nichijou! I don't play console games as much, but I probably should lol. We should become pen friends! ;v; Thank you for the sweet note and the awesome tuck ins, btw!!! I hope you have an awesome week!!
Comment: Thanks for the postcard with the map of Cape Cod - it's an unfamiliar area to me and I very much like the illustration. Good first and last lines of the book. The first line really sets a stage.
Comment: Thank you so much Danielle for your card and all the darling extras! I really like the postcard and washi. Yes, I did grow up here in Alaska! If you ever visit I would love to show you around. :) I wouldn't live in any other place!
Comment: Hello Danielle, Trixie, Rusty and Woogie, thank you so much for your lovely mail. I am absolutely in love with the pictures you sent me. Your little crew is so darn cute I can´t even find the right words in the moment. Your mail made my day so much better - thank you again!
I wish you many more years with your cats. Stay creative, and have an amazing cuddly day!
Comment: Danielle, oh my gosh - your babies are SO CUTE! I am still smiling from seeing their pictures ... they look so sweet. Thanks so much for sharing the pics with me, I loved every one of them. (I love "ALL" animals, they just make me happy looking at them!)
Comment: Thank you for the nice PC. I love examples of odd architecture or just examples that are, like this one, in odd places for the style.
We went to dinner and a comedy show and were home and asleep well before midnight.
Comment: Thank you for sharing. I also love You. The second series was just as good as the first. If you like reading, I recommend checking out the book You by Caroline Kepnes that the series was based on - it's fantastic and it's one of those rare occasions that I love both the book and its TV adaptation.
Comment: Thank you for the awesome PC and for sharing your month with me! I have been working harder on being more consistent with my step count too. One day at a time :) Much happiness to you in 2020!
Comment: Hi Danielle, I enjoyed reading your list but unfortunately none were the type that I'd watch. I'm pretty sure that it is "ME" that's the odd-ball because I have friends that watch the shows you do and always try to get me to watch them but they're just not up my alley I guess. lol Have a fantastic day!
Comment: Thank you for sharing! I am super curious about The Mandalorian. My husband is iffy on Disney +, but I'm pretty sure we'll end up getting it in the next few months. MHA is also on Crunchyroll, which is how we watch it. That last episode: OMG! Do you happen to also watch Fire Force? I have been hearing about You EVERYWHERE; I really need to watch it, and have had it recommended to me by at least 4 people now. Haha.
Comment: Thank you for the awesome stickers and forever stickers! I REALLY appreciate it all! ~ I bet you and your bf would be able to collect all the amibos in no time if you combined your collections! I am loving Pokemon shield right now too :) Happy holidays!
Comment: Thank you for sharing a part of your world with me! Your area looks so cute & it's cool to see snow!
Response: As soon as I saw your address, I knew you'd appreciate all the snow piles in the photos! It's been raining for 2 days now (today is supposed to be almost 60 degrees!) but we are going to drop THIRTY DEGREES tonight and are supposed to get 2-4" of snow tomorrow! I'm already over winter and it hasn't even officially started yet lol
Comment: Glad to hear we have Big D in common, you're right-people don't really know them. I wish you sort of wrote more, very small swap for a 'note'..
Response: When I started doing the note swap (I've done a bunch of them), I would write enough to fill the notecard but I noticed that people weren't writing as much to me so I thought I was writing too much and I shortened it. Thank you for rating promptly!
Comment: Thank you for the variety of things. I love Dr Seuss and since I do a lot of reading will use them as bookmarks. Putting the washi tape on the card is a great idea and will use the same technique in the future.
Comment: nice job! - the woods would be unusual for me to see - i seriously envy such a clean workdesk - fantastic how you keep the postcards organized = good work! wow, what a ton of books, too > thanks for sharing!
Comment: Hi Danielle, I got your note and postcards! I really like the Boston Museum of Science one. It was fun to learn a bit more about you--how cool to live so near your boyfriend. And all the postcards you'e collected over the years must be so fun to look through. Thanks for sharing a few ;)
Comment: Thanks for the answers! You don't really like snow? I think you are the first person to say that! Best regards from a girl living in tropical country~
Response: Haha yeah I'm definitely not a fan. I always love the first snowfall of the year...and any snow before Christmas is always really pretty, but usually by January 1st, I am over it...unfortunately, there are still a good 3-4 months left of winter at that point and it gets old very quickly lol
Comment: Hello Daniel! I got your swap, I am not sure if this is the first one? The small yellow envelope was stamped "return for postage", but it came inside another white envelope. Not sure but I got the keychain and package of cards! Thank you so much! Loved it! and thank you for keeping me up to date with it, you were a pleasure to swap with <3
Response: That was the first one, that's weird that it actually made it to you without postage! I actually sent a second one out to you on Friday because I was nervous about the first one so you'll probably be receiving that one soon also :)
Comment: Wow, you took me back in time with this list. I saw the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in concert back in the 90s and had a blast. These songs made me wish I could dance the way I used to, but my arthritis won't allow that. Thanks so much for sharing; I loved your songs! 😍
Comment: Thank you sooo much! This is the longest letter I have ever received lol (which is a good thing because I like reading). I also have cats. And thank you for the hello kitty paper it's so cute. I enjoyed getting to know you!
Comment: Hi Danielle thank you for the NYC PC. I'd like to visit there someday. I grew up in the Prairies where there was lots of snow but here on Vancouver Island we don't get too much if any... I like the snow myself and we had lots here in 2009...I played with the kids :) our snow is usually here for 2-3 days and it's wet...slushy and you cant make a proper snowman lol. Happy September swapping. peace love light
Comment: Thanks for the swap.
I enjoyed your story. I know what it is like to be own a support position and feel unrecognized.
I used "Heaven sent" in the same way as in the song, as a metaphor. To paraphrase something my grandmother used to say... 'Put Heaven Sent in one hand and hard work in the other. See which fills up first.'
Comment: This is definitely a super weird card!! Before I read what swap this was for, I was like, why TF did someone send this to me! Lol. Thank you for sharing! Lord, I feel super uncomfortable giving a "heart" to this LOL but you certainly nailed the swap requirement on the head haha
Response: Yay! I have a stack of postcards I can only use for swaps like this lol
Comment: Love the purse 😊 Compared to mine it is very neat. I went to see The Mighty Mighty Bosstones years ago in Dallas - awesome concert, very high energy! I always keep ibuprofen with me because of arthritis. Hang in there and use those gift cards (or send them to me). 😉
Comment: Yeah I was very disappointed with the end. I'm not sure I would watch anymore:( V isn't V without Logan.
Response: I was so angry. I didn't want to get too, too into it on the PC just on the off chance that the mail carrier is a V Mars fan who hadn't watched yet or something lol but I was yelling and swearing at he TV for awhile. Cursing the writers. LOL. I love Logan :(
Comment: Your bag is so small, you'd have no idea so much stuff was able to fit into it... I love how they always end up being like little clown cars. Haha
Response: Haha thanks! That's one of my favorite things about it is how small it is. My boyfriend will ask for a Listerine strip or something and those are so small, I end up having to take all these giant items out to get to the strips. It's a 5 minute process each time lol
Comment: Yay, Texas! This is a great postcard of my birth state, so thanks very much! Teaching brought me over to Korea and I just ended up loving it here. It's far from the states, but I still visit once a year. Thank you again. This card warms my heart.
Comment: Hi Danielle, I loved seeing what was inside your purse! I hope you get to use all those gift cards soon! Maybe you can start with the Dunkin Donuts one haha! P.S. I also hate it when I travel and they don’t stamp on my passport hahaha
Comment: Thank you very much! It’s funny you mention The Boys! I told my husband a few days ago that it looked like something we would like! I was actually thinking of doing a friendship bracelet swap and a homemade bookmark swap. I need to get more clasps and make some more in case I need to angel 😇 😂
Response: Definitely start watching The Boys! I've only watched the first 4 episodes so far but I am loving it...
Comment: Thank you for the cool bat postcard of Austin, TX. It's one of my favorite cities and I love the state of Texas. They have some of the most beautiful sunsets, so I appreciate the sunset on the PC, too. :)
Comment: Thank you for sharing your pictures with me. Trixie, Rusty, and Woogie are too cute! Big floofs and remind me of my cat, Ollie. The last picture you shared of the park was absolutely stunning. You really should turn it into a postcard! I'd love to have a copy in my collection! Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you. This was sent 2 days late. Be sure to notify your partners in the future. I could have rated a 3, but chose not to this time.
Response: You are correct that I dropped this in the dropbox of my apartment building on Tuesday night when it should have been shipped out on Monday. I apologize, I came home from work Monday and found my Guinea pig passed away in her cage so I was not thinking clearly. I rushed to get the swap in the mail but did not spend any length of time on the site for a few days because I just didn't have it in me. I asked my boyfriend to come over on Tuesday night to remove her from the cage (I just...couldn't) and before then, I didnt really do much of anything. That was the only swap I had that hadn't been sent out yet and I completely forgot the due date was monday until I logged onto the site Tuesday night to make sure I didnt have any swaps due... hopefully, you understand that I did not deliberately send out a swap late to be hurtful :(

Comment: you live near Boston and you've only been to Cape Cod once? I live there and it's the best place to be in the summer!!! Come check it out. Your road trip sounds like a lot of fun even if I don't know about the Bosstones -- I'm too old for that stuff.
