Comment: Hi, Elizabeth! Ugh, I hate to do this, but you know I will happily re-rate once this has been sent. I hope all is well, but I feel like something bad has happened since you have not been online in nearly a month. Hope you get back to it soon - wishing you well! :)
Comment: Swapper has not been on Swapbot since April 3. Swap not marked as sent. I haven't received anything. I contacted hostess and swapper. I'll change my rating if I get something. On July 3 2019, swapper contacted me about making up swap. I wrote back and indicated if she wanted to meet the swap requirements that I’d review and re-rate.
Comment: Thanks for the nice card. I've always thought that good music transcends what people want it to be. I've loved a lot of music that doesn't have much to do with my beliefs or my lifestyle. And I can enjoy it because it's good music.
Comment: That's a great list! I'm so impressed that you will continue to do the gratitude in your bullet journal. That's a good idea, you've motivated me. I really need to do this as I have always been one to focus 90% on negative and miss all of the great things that are also happening. It's a pleasant relief to see things differently and adopt new ways of being.
Comment: What an adorable card! You make some cute PCs :) I gave up soda also! :) It hasn't been as hard as I thought, but I think that is only because I've been sick all month and not wanting much anyways lol. :)
Response: Oh no! I hope you are feeling better soon! Seems like everyone is getting sick!
Comment: Thank you so much! I wish you great success in 2017!
Just thinking about doing squats makes my knees and hips hurt. LOL! Today I'm dealing with a swollen foot and ankle. Ah, the joys of getting old.
Comment: Great board but have to rate a 3 bc it was late. Due date for swap was 12/25/16. Partners were assigned on 12/19/16. You sent your swap on 12/26/16 and wrote: Sorry this is a day late.
Response: It was? Are you sure? I sent this out quite a while ago. I did apologize. We were away at the in laws and our van got stuck in the mud. I felt it would be rude to ask to use their computer on Christmas Day. But oh well...late is late I guess. Even on Christmas.
Comment: These labels are AWESOME! Thank you so much! I am so glad to have lots of new pretty labels to use! I may have to hit you up after the holidays for more if you are still offering private swaps!
Comment: Thank you for sending me your answers to these questions, I know I had a blast answering them and reading yours and my other partners.
I loved that some of the answers are long and drawn out. Makes them a memorable answer. :0)
Comment: i really enjoyed reading your answers! Be glad you don't live near me. We have tons of bridges and tunnels that go over/under water! And I love supernatural too! I'm binge watching it right now on Netflex! Thanks for exchange with me!
Comment: Wow!! yes including him in your boards sounds like a great idea and i guess can be challenging! sounds fun! I repinnined the red necklace your first pin, because I've been searching for that exact one for a while now!!! I now follow you x
Response: I even included him on my Dolls board. I think you might like my "I Have Abandonment Issues" board! :D
Comment: What a nice variety of things for March! I looked into those snack boxes, but they're too expensive for me. Glad to know they're working for you though! And lots of journaling fun that month too, it seems. Great!
Comment: Thank you for sharing two boards with me! Following both now. Wonderful shares! Much success with your weight-loss goals. Lots of inspirations in those boards as well. Thank you for taking part.
Comment: Excellent board...I love the title, "Daryl and I Will Survive." Daryl's my favorite. Your board has lots of interesting links that I can't wait to have so extra time to delve into! Especially the one about the bicycle...I'm intrigued!
Comment: Thank you for your swap. I have hardly read any poetry but the poen Oh Me! Oh Life! that you included is now one of favourites! (Or only favourite) I think I will look up some more of Whitmans work.
Comment: Wow, a lot of work and beautiful sharing in this journal. I just love it! Too many really special parts to discuss in the rating, but a truly spectacular journal - and one that I actually received! People don't always follow through with journal swaps but this host/swapper certainly did! thanks so much!
Comment: Thanks for sending me your September in pins! Looks like you had some good moments this month, some looking back, and some struggles--I can totally relate. How are you liking Forever? I've been DVRing but haven't watched it yet.
Comment: Firstly I will apologize for the late rating. Things have been very busy all of a sudden and hectic. Now proper first of all, I enjoyed your story. It had a nice flow and circular story line that went very well with the theme. Thank you
Comment: Thank you for sharing your personality type. I am an ENTJ, a Choleric Lion Personality type. I was amazed to find several years ago about these personality types. It helped me to realize that the different personality types were not doing things to me to be mean, that was just the way they were. I find social interactions to be a lot easier now because of it.
Comment: Thanks for sharing so much about yourself! I am also more of a listener than a talker :) People definitely tend to perceive it negatively but once they really get to know me they see that I'm not a mean person, lol :)
Comment: Your Personality test is very interesting of what you told me! I find it amazing how this test can be 100% right about you lol. Thank You again for walking me threw of what I need to do since I haven't been on here for awhile. :)
Comment: What a touching story, Elizabeth! The power of mail and human connection for the win. I enjoyed your unique approach to the theme, but I was incredibly relieved for that happy ending. :D Thank you. :)
Response: As soon as I signed up I knew it would go in that direction. Wasn't sure if it would have a happy or sad ending until I wrote it though.
Comment: Thank you for your swap! Awesome that we had some of the same photos. I don't think have much of a variety. :/ Funny that some of your milds were on my wilds. I kept my milds as covered in one way or another, even if the photo itself was more tame if bare. Thanks for joining!
Comment: Thanks for sending your answers. It was neat to see what we have in common/different. I hope you enjoyed writing them! And I like the distinction you drew in answer to the last question. Thanks for sharing your answers!
Comment: Thank you so, so much for doing this swap with me!! I am so excited to read all about your year. :) Crazy to think not that long ago I was new to swapping here and you were one of the first to take a chance at swapping a journal with me and now we just did a whole years worth! Thank you so much for the books as well, I'm excited to get into them. I saw Colleen Hoover blurbed on the front- I read one of her books for the first time a few months ago and it was one of my favorites so far of the year. I'm definitely always up for swaps with you and I'll probably have a letter out sometime in the next week or so! :)
Response: It is so weird not seeing our swap on my dash after a year! You should check out a swap I am doing, in my profile called The Challenger. Maybe you'd be interested in a journal like that?
Comment: Hi Elizabeth! Thank you for the lovely letter and stickers! You really went above and beyond and I loved reading it all. (Great job losing all that weight in such a healthy way - it's not easy at all!) Unfortunately, I don't have the time to be a pen pal right now (I just had a baby!) but do hope we can write in the future. We have a lot in common. Happy swapping!!!
Response: Well feel free to drop me your intro when you feel up to it! No rush! Congrats on the new baby!
Comment: Hello Elizabeth, I've received your journal. Can I just say that I love how commented you are-very inspiring to read. We both lost the same amount -YaY!!! Every little bit counts :)
THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE CUTE ADDRESS LABELS-I adore those little dolls :)
Comment: Thank you for sharing your beautiful board with me. I appreciate that the pins had descriptions and locations. some swappers do not and I see something I like with no notations on it. bummer! I liked the Wood bridge [ - Omeo, Victoria, Australia] pin. All your pins were great.
Comment: Thank you so much for the journal - I really enjoyed reading it. It impresses me that your attitude seems to stay pretty level - I really need to work on that. I really liked looking at your photos from the color run - and also the other photos that you included! So glad you are a member of "REACH FOR SUCCESS"!
Comment: Wow, love me some red & black colors you got going on in your board! That color theme is so unique, that is what I love about weddings. Everyone has their own taste. Thank you for sharing you.r awesome board.
Comment: Thank you for sharing your answers with me, I enjoyed reading them :)) I loved your answer for the 'any past event', I would love to see how my parents met as well, they must have been so cute!
Comment: Thanx for sharing all your great answers on this swap. I really enjoyed reading them. I like Walking Dead too, but this season has left me wanting. If you don't like Honey Boo Boo, have you seen "Hollywood Hillbillies"? Where do they get these people? I love your style of writing.
Comment: I really enjoyed your motivational letter. I've been reading your posts on the group site and was hoping to have you as a partner. You sound real, practical and fun. It was a pleasure to meet you, look for a letter from me soon, Doskie
Comment: thank you for the email !
and why does a red square painted on a canvas worth millions?According to my Art history, it's because in that time it was innovative for the art since before there wasn't a lot of freedom artistically ..
Comment: Thanks for the great quote on the card, and the nice note. There's sign where I go for phys. therapy: Pain is temporary; quitting is forever. Thought you might like that qoute. Happy swapping!
Response: Very true. My dad once said "Quitting is only hard the first time. After that it becomes habit and you tend to quit everything." You have to quit quitting.
Comment: I really enjoyed your journal and you have motivated me so much. More than you'll ever know. If you still want to do an April journal, let me know. I'd love to do it. Thank you for the Garfield addy labels and thank you so much for the motivation. I wish I could give you a thousand hearts and a big hug.
Comment: Your package arrived, and I am so eager to continue reading about your experience for the 3 months. You are a constant inspiration to me, and doing this project with you has given me a lot of insight into myself. Thank you for that! The address labels are so cute, and a very thoughtful addition!
Comment: Your 80's pin board was like, you know, totally
Rad! (Sigh. I used to talk like that as a kid...
In the 80's.) I loved your board. I remembered
A lot of the stuff. But I had almost forgotten how
Every tv show character and toy type had their
Own cereal! (Did you ever notice how many
Of them were actually inedible? I loved
Rainbow Bright cereal though.)
Comment: HEY YOU!!! I didn't know you were my partner!! I'm guessing it was you who sent the ribcage necklace?!?!? It didn't come with a note, BUT, I know I didn't order it :P I LOVE it because it matches my hair. I know have a red and a black one! Thank you lady!!!
Response: Yup that is from moi! I asked them to include a note and they wrote back "We don't do that." 0_o....I replied and said "You can't include a note written on paper at all?" So yeah! Bit flustered at them but glad you like it!
Comment: Received your journal yesterday!!!! Beautiful!!! cannot wait to read through it and add to it!!! Thank you so so so much for the address labels!!! I love them!!!! I will be using one today!!! And the note papers were so cute!!!!
Thanks again! Peace and Hugs, Jennie
Comment: I enjoyed the items in the swap =) The game sounds fun and i can't wait to play it. loved the rainbow duck tape, letter sets were cute...and i loved the chocolates of course! cute valentine's say themed socks too. Hope you enjoy all the fun I shoved into your box. LOL Have a great day!
Comment: loved your letter, wasn't it nice to grow up with such special memories. I tell my grandkids about the simple things I had to play with and they can not imagine growing up without all their electronics. I was 13 when the first tv came to our town, ha ha one channel that came on at 3 in the afternoon and went off the air at 10. We had fun making our own toys out of what ever we found in the barn or left to our imagination. But we had lots of fun
Comment: Thank you so much. Such a nice l-o-n-g letter. I've always been a letter writer and it's been a long time since I've received one. I made a cup of tea and sat in my rocker to relax and enjoy your letter. Thanks again.
Comment: Elizabeth!I loved reading your email! A lot of your memories made me think of other things I could have included in mine! As kids we videotaped our Christmas and everyone else in my family (aunts, cousins grandparents)live in Ontario and would videotape theirs and we would switch, which was our way of having Christmas as together! And those damned stirrup pants invaded my wardrobe, too!
Comment: I have to give you props for handwriting, I did the first one and gave up. My printer is on the fritz as well so I went to the local materials and production and printed there. The envelope was so pretty and hubby wants to steal the dino stamps. Your letter was very interesting, thanks.
Response: Yeah I had had it all typed up and my printer started eating paper so I panicked! Glad he liked the stamps! They are some old ones huh?
Comment: Thanks so much for sharing your May with me hon. My heart breaks for you, I am so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately I can relate to losing a parent far too soon and it's horrible. :( I hope June is a better month for you. <3
Comment: I'm rating you before I get a chance to even read your list because the notebook was so cute and it came early. Mine hasnt been mailed yet and its on boring paper! I'm looking forward to reading your responses!!
Comment: I'm sorry to hear about your dad passing. You are so right about not realizing how important someone is in our lives until they are gone. That's how it was when my grandpa passed. Thank you for sending and sharing your answers. :))
Comment: thanks for the nice card , I too hope this continues too , I too have two in circulation and hope to get them both back. lets keep our fingers crossed for good luck and others to do the right thing
Comment: Thanks for sharing! :) Fun's song was popular here last Fall, but I don't like it that much. :P I didn't even know the name of the artist, but when I heard it, I remember it played on the radio every time we were driving somewhere! The song by The Lumineers hasn't been played on the radio here at all, like most of the other songs you wrote you've heard on there. Our radios mostly play bubble gum pop and r'nb, and I HATE it! I'm sorry, most of the songs on your list are ones that I don't even remember anymore after hearing them once, so not my taste haha. I do like Coldplay, though! :D Have a nice week!
Comment: Thanks so much for the playlist! I had heard most the songs at the beginning, and then the end came and I was super fascinated because while I have "heard" of them I had never really listened to their songs, so thanks for that!
Response: Yeah I tried so hard to pick songs that I had never heard from the list but they just weren't there! But glad some of the songs were "new ish" for ya!
Comment: Never received anything. Will re-rate if this is ever sent. Edit: You told me quite rudely that I had not contacted you before rating, but I had done that. I don't rate people 1 without contacting them first. Thanks for re-sending.
Response: I don't think I was rude at all. I just said for future reference contact people before rating a 1. This was an email swap and email tends to go to spam. You mentioned you had contacted before rating. I never received that message or I would have resent that day. Sometimes it's hard to pick up a person's tone through email, online. I wasn't meaning to be rude at all
Comment: It's amazing how you see a bit of yourself in everyone's story. I would have some kind of incentive for her to keep her room tidy; see if there is something local that she could go to, maybe find an interest and new friends. Just one best friend would change everything. Is there a kiddie thing, we have Brownies, that the child attends and you could help out with that would build links to other mums? Our Brownies is very crafty and has been good for us both.
Comment: It seems as soon as I had kids, people stopped calling and texting me too.
My husband works at nights and I'm pretty much alone all the time. If you like let's keep in touch. FYI I was like your daughter, it's a matter of her finding a way to comfortable in her own skin.
I was the geeky nerd weird kid in school.
Have a great week
Response: My husband used to work midnights. Felt so much like a single parent then. And I am hoping my daughter figures out who she is. I don't want her to be too passive because then people would use and walk all over her. I don't want that.
Comment: Finally, your lovely package reached here and thank you for the wonderful items. I love all of them. You got a big heart and swap bot should be grateful to have a swapper such yourself. You deserve not just a heart but many many many hearts ^.^
Response: So very glad it all arrived! I was startign to get nervous!
Comment: Thanks for your answers! I can totally relate to your shopping problem... I didn't think I had one until my friends started calling me the "Goddess of eBay." What can you do? Haha! Can't wait for the YouTube chain swap:)
Response: Glad you joined my YouTube Chain swap! I am always ordering from Etsy and Amazon so I keep getting mail! I hate mail days where I get nothing.
Comment: Very interesting! Thanks :) I thought it was neat that you have a cockatiel. We had some when I was growing up and the last of them just passed on a few years ago. He was a mean old bird but I found when I moved out that I missed him. Birds can be such good company!
Comment: OMG we are SO similar it is creepy! We answered our romance question almost identically. And our celebrity day plan was really similar! That is too weird. You had nothing to worry about, btw, your journal was amazing. I was giggling like a little kid through most of it, each page was perfect. The jumping on the bed thing was great, I'm totally going to steal that for something. And THANK YOU times a million for my Sheldon labels. You are awesome and we must be pen-pals!
Response: There are 2 stamps in a tiny envelope also. Can't remember the page but yeah, look for the tiny envelope! Lol! I'm so glad you enjoyed my journal! I had so much fun making it!
Comment: Elizabear. What can I say, I love everything that you sent. My favorite its a toss up between the Ghiredelli's Chocolate tin with all my address labels and the Chanel Book. I loved the puzzles too, can't wait to start working on Marilyn. Won $10 on one of the scratchers too. All in all it was amazing to open everything. Keith made me do it in front of him. He always talks about you as the most amazing swapper that I have found on swap bot. xoxo Totally out did yourself. WINNING!!!
Response: Tell Keith the Cracker Jack is actually for him! :D I wish you would have called so we could do the phone swap but I know you are a busy Momma now! Glad you liked everything! I always love these kinds of swaps. I do wish I remember what I got you...Can't remember all of it lol
Comment: I really enjoy journal swapping with you. :) You did an awesome job, writing or mixed media, love them all! Oh and Kairi LOVED the book Ava made. She had so much fun going through it and pointing out everything they had in common.
Yours will go out tomorrow, I hope you like it.
Response: whoo hoo! Glad this one turned out better than the last! This is the first mixed media one I have ever done! And I am so glad Kairi loved Ava's book. Think I was more worried about that because Ava was. Yippppeeeee!
Comment: Hey Elizabeth! Definitely appreciate the time you took to colour your text in the email. Makes reading a bit easier :)
Just wanted to note that it did first show up in my spam - in case anyone else says they didn't get ;)
Comment: I was surprised to find your package in the mail last night! I had found it as I was on my way out to karaoke, so when I got back I opened it and showed the contents around to everyone. We watched the first DVD last night, the other will be for today. Thank you so much.
Comment: Hope you feel better soon! My mom has GERD/acid reflux and has had a chronic cough for over a decade. I still wince when she has spats. Love Fun.'s music. I think "Some Night's" is my second favorite song of the moment. (Like you, I don't have a favoritist.) I said "I Cry" by Flo Rida with Stacy Reign. Also, LOL at the story about your sister+game+phone+pool.
Happy New Year! Take care!
Comment: Thank you for the cute card and the list of your New Years resolutions. It sounds like you are going to succeed in staying focused to complete your goals. Have a wonderful New Years and may 2013 bring you much happiness.
Comment: Thanks so much for your journal! When I got it, I read it all of the way through. It's amazing how much we have in common. I feel like I have gotten to know you a great deal and appreciate you sharing so much with me. Thanks once again.
Response: I am so glad it went to someone I am somewhat associated with thru other swaps. IF you'd like to penpal, if you do that, I m totally up for it!
Comment: I am sorry to rate a 3, it would have been a 5 if you would have let me know you needed to send it late :(
ETA on 10/29: Diane messaged me to let me know what happened. Sorry I did not see her comment on you profile. I am understanding so I am changing your rating to a 5!
Response: Sorry this was sent late. We were getting all settled in from moving and my mind was still a bit frazzled. Guess I thought I had sent it out on the right date but didn't. :(
Comment: What a great partner!! I love my journal Elizabeth! Not only did I learn a lot, realize we have so much in common, but it was so well done. The decorated covers and inclusions of the vintagey photos was a neat extra. Getting the journal made my day!! Here's some more hearts for you because you deserve them. ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Response: Whoo hoo glad you liked it. Let me know when you have read all the lists. They were alot of fun to do...I started to get a bit silly at the end...
Comment: Thank you for you list. Unfortunally I was only able to see two of the ten youtube videos. But thats not your fault. In Germany many links from youtube don't work right -.- I know most of the songs in your list and you list is completly different to my list :) I also like some of the songs.I hope you have already got my Chain. If not please let me know it, so I can send my chain again.
Response: Yeah that is something that makes YouTube type swaps not work. Links that work for me in the US might not work. They were all lyrics videos! And no I have yet to receive any chains yet! :(
Comment: Interesting list. I see some very familiar songs there, including my favourite version of Over the Rainbow. An extra thanks for the links to the videos! I adore Dominic and think he and Robert did a great job with that dance. Blake Lewis is pretty awesome, too. I've got his album...
Response: Yeah that is one of my fave dances. It is weird...I can hear songs and know who danced to them. But can not remember who sang them...lol
Comment: Thanks for the FBs!... BTW when i got your letter, there was a message attached to it from the postal service, I guess the stamp you used did not cover the letter, and there was a little fee, not to worry ill cover it, but i just wanted to let you know about it that way the letters wont be sent back to you, or worse having it ask someone else to pay for it!
Comment: Once Again, Elizabeth you never cease to amaze me. Not only was you package 15lbs, but the goodies inside were to die for. I loved how everything was wrapped so beautifully too. You are an A+ swapper and and my swap sister for life. I can't wait to get your package to you as well. Bare with me mammas.
Response: You are totally welcome! The more years we do this, the better we get to know each other so the better the packages will become! :D I like trying to find things that I know you will love!
Comment: I *heart* your tattoos & the stories that go along with them! Such thought went into them! Not just another copied picture! Thanks for sharing!
Response: Thank you for enjoying them! Thought goes into all my tattoos. They are permanent but at the same time only as permanent as I am. So I better make good use of my canvas while I can! Another one i want to get is an old fashioned quill pen writing in blood. Probably on my wrist, like the blood is from vein there. To say writing is in my blood. If you have any questions about my future ones just ask. :D
Comment: Thank you for your musiclist! Some things I know very well (Loreena McKennit!), others are familiair too (Tokio Hotel, Apocalyptica! :D ) and there are some new things to me too! (Fireflight for example! Sounds great!)
Response: Whoo hoo love that someone knows some of my music! I have so so many other groups that didn't make the list but that is the power of the shuffle! And yes if you like Fireflight you might also like Adelita's Way.
Comment: Hi! Thanks so much for the great share! I enjoy these swaps and getting to know something about my fellow swappers! Happy B-day early and I live in Southern IL as well! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: I know I saw that as I was adding the emails to the swap. I have been to Waterloo ( I think that is it right?) in HS when I was on the speech/acting team.
Comment: Thanks for going above and beyond the call of duty to get this journal to me. I did enjoy doing the swap for the most part. I think my partner liked my journal as well. In the future maybe all the swappers should have passwords to join like this. collect a list from those who haven't flaked on your journal swaps. thanks suzanne
Comment: Thanks for the survey! Always happy to meet someone open minded :) and Lizabiff is such a cute nickname!
You're my second partner in this swap who mentioned other people getting on your case about weight. People trying to get others down like that is the saddest thing :( Stay strong!
Hope this finds both you and your family in the best of health, and thank you once more x
Comment: Thanks, very creepy dolls, if I do say so myself!
Response: That is actually from Doll Island in Mexico. Google it! It is CREEPY! Locals go to this island and leave dolls as offerings to the ghost children. There are thosands of dolls, all kinds, from like the past 50 years or so. Hanging in trees, hanging from the buildings, everything. It is just soooo weird.
Comment: Argh! Totally jealous of your Pulip doll - I really want one!!!! I absolutely love them but don't know how to justify the expense so far, but I've got my eye one on i hope to get soon. I love that you tattoos all have significance! Hope you get to do most of the things on your bucket list - especially your real wedding :o)
Comment: Ooops, dyslexics of the world untie, lol got a couple mixed around
Neat having all those little passes, sometimes it takes us a while to catch on to what God/the universe/etc want us to know. :)
Comment: Thank you for sharing your memories. I enjoyed reading them. I wish I had kept my Nintendo and Duck Hunt gun! And I laughed when I read about the little boy you found later on Facebook, typical male behavoir. And I can imagine how awful your first day of 7th grade was...talk about stress!
Response: Yeah just a little. I honestly felt like everyone could tell.
Comment: Wow, I love reading to the smell of "Toasted Marshmallow". Thanks so much for dying the paper to make my Hogwarts Letter more official. Thanks for the amazing addy labels for my angel swap. She is gonna love them. Love ya xoxoxo
Response: Sorry about the messed up wax! I guess in old times they had special candles to do that huh? Not the leather scented ones from Hobby Lobby!
Comment: Elizabeth! I really don't have the words and emotions online to show how extatic I am for what you chose! I can't wait to use them and hopefully make new items for my shop sometime in the beginning of the year!! Thanks for all three of them, they are all so awesome!!! Thanks so much again!
Response: Oh and you asked if the spider was on your list...no it wasn't but I figured it was the same style as the other 2 and gosh darn it you needed it!
Comment: Queen Elizabeth,
First off 3D SWAPS TOTALLY KICK ASS! You are one of my most favorite swappers. Not to mention your attention to detail in finding the extra special gifts that you know I will like. I love how creative you are and that we both get to talk on the phone while we open are packages. I am wearing the bracelet and eating some of the candy now. =) xoxo Love ya
Response: Totally glad you love it! Wish ALL swaps went this well right? :)
Comment: Elizabeth! You did a horror-ific job on these! I love the text you added to both and the poem on the back;) Definitely keepers. I'd love to do this swap again, it was fun! I added my photos to Flickr, you should too! Thanks again!
Response: I am so glad you like them so much! And yes I will def be doing this again!
Comment: Thank you for the journal. I really enjoyed peeking into your world. I am listening to the CD right now as I type this and I am really enjoying it. Also thank you for the labels. I love me some Johnny Depp and Alice in Wonderland, Perfect mix!
Response: ahh yes a step inside my messed up psyche lol.
Comment: You get a star and a heart for this swap. So much love in it ! I loved that you put your emails in two, I felt doubly special. And it's adorable that your husband joined in on spreading the beauty. So cute ! And the fact that I could see you or him in each photo was brilliant:) Thank you for the thoughtful links. I will be looking at them shortly, since I am about to write final exams for my undergrad. I hope there will be a round two for this swap, or an extension of it *hinthint*. Thank you Elizabeth, YOU are lovely !
Response: Yah I noticed after I took all the photos that we were in them also. Usually I am very iffy about having my picture taken but in light of this swap, I pushed those kind of thoughts out of my head and said "Oh well" Did you enjoy that each little note had a little story behind it? :) !
Comment: :) I didnt know it was you when I started reading the answers, and I was like wow this person sounds awesome and write so well, then I seen it was you, and i was like of course it is Elizabeth! :) Thank you! Love reading your writing, as always!
Comment: That was a great couple of lists. ;) It's nice to meet another bubble gum fan, too. Oh, and re: your comment in mine, I'd love to trade ghost stories sometimes (though mine aren't traditional ghosts).
Comment: Oh my goodness. ::fans self:: Thank you for this very extraordinary ATC/story pairing--you tell one heck of a story, and I like how you carried the ribbon theme into the ATC! I think I need to go take a cool shower now.
Response: Lol well I am very glad you enjoyed both. i have 22 other stories lol
Comment: Elizabeth you are the best swap partner anyone could ever ask for. Your creativity never ceases to amaze me and I am so glad that we have become the best of friends. Looking forward to our amazing xmas swap. You deserve all the
crown jewels in my palace along with all the hearts swap bot could possibly offer.
Comment: I really like your drowning ATC. What scary thought to be just out of reach of air. The best part of this ATC is that you used bright blue and gold ("happy" colors) but it's still so creepy looking!
Comment: it was interesting to read your perspectives and opinions on different commonly held beliefs. you and I seem to have similar, though somewhat different "philosophies". i would love to be in touch with you more to discuss. cheers!
Response: Oh Im glad you revieved it. I was nervous to do this swap actually.
Comment: Your "little religious booklet thingy" as you call it is so interesting. Thanks for writing in so much detail! I'll write you with some questions and comments (I'm glad this was suggested in the swap description).
Response: I was actually pretty scared to do this swap after I got to writing. My views aren't necc. what others might be.
Comment: If I were to say YOU ROCK and I LOVE YOU, those would not suffice how much I appreciate the immense work you clearly put into my journal. The mix cd of music in M is AWAZING!!! I LOVE Coheed and Cambria so it was nice to see them on it. And then the FABULOUS underwear, oh now it makes sense!!! If you EVER want to do a private swap just let me know. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! <3
Response: *giggle* see the asking of undeie sizes totally make sense now huh? I love sending out journals that I can barely close :)
Comment: Good job on the journal and THANKS for the extras you put in there. I will make good use of the little pieces of cardstock. I haven't received the Etsy things yet, but i'm sure they'll be along shortly. <3
Response: Yah most likely! Let me know when ya get them though, I wanna know if you like what I picked out! And I heard you did pretty good yourself on this swap! >_<
Comment: I got this yesterday and have read it twice ♥ You and I have so much in common it's actually scary! I loved the journal and all the thought that went into it, thank you very much.....Yes, all the goodies were in there and they were great, thanks again!!
Response: Well if we have so much in common maybe we should become penpals...wow read twice...awesome...did you find all the goodies hidden? I hope they didn't fall out en route
Comment: I really enjoyed reading your journalling. I feel like I know you and we do have a lot in common. You are a wonderful writer and should keep at it. I loved the pretty paper and how you created the journal. Thank you so much for such a nice swap!
Response: Thank you!!!! If you'd like to be penpals feel free to write me a letter! I usually reply within the week!!!
Comment: UPDATE: Thanks for trying to make amends re this swap. Since I'm moving house and I don't know what address to give you I'm rating you a 5. What a kerfuffle!!! PREVIOUSLY: Thank you for the letter, but because that was all that was in the envelope (at first I thought it was a letter written to someone else that you'd accidentally sent to me!), I didn't recognise it as this swap for a bit.
"PROFILE surprise. So that your partner also gets something, add a small surprise. NO price limit, the main idea is the letter. :)"
That's the only reason I'm marking it as a 3 - incompletion. (It's written twice in the info about the swap.) If you wanna finish the swap I'll change it to a 5, no worries. :)
Response: Was there not address labels in with it? I thought I had made you address labels also! I will gladly make these and send them to you this week! Guess it was just a brain fart on my part!
Comment: Thank you so much for taking the time to resend this. I really appreciate it. I love what you did with the background. On the surface it seems like just Tara, but when you look closer you see that everyone is there! Thanks again! <3
Response: Which is exactly who Tara is. I have to admit this ATC was a bit nicer than the previous one. So in a way I am kinda glad it got lost!
Comment: OMG....I LOVE the lables you made for me they are FAN-TA-BULOUS, It sounds like we have a ton of stuff in common...maybe we'll be swap buddies again....where did you find the dandelion pic...could you email me the address...thanx again...LOVE this swap...1peeta
Comment: Thanks for your poems, Elizabeth. I do like Bare Innocence best. The earlier ones remind me how impossible it is for teens to really think of anything except their own feelings -- the poems are very true in that sense.
Comment: Thanks Elizabeth. I love my journal! I also really love the spoon rests and I needed them too. I have never used them before or seen any I like. I also love the way you did the recipes as little cards, very handy indeed. Thanks Again
Response: :D Awesome! And yah I kinda laminated the cards because I know cooking can be messy!
Comment: The box may have been little but it contained awesomeness! I'm currently in the middle of making an ATC using some of the wonderful stuff you included. Thanks so much for all the little bits and bobs...they will come in very handy for future projects. *loves my little oatmeal box of goodies*
Response: lol loves your oatmeal box of awesome...that makes me laugh! I'm so glad you liked it! I spent a wee bit much at hobby lobby but that place tends to do that...
Comment: You got a lot of great songs on your list. I have had "Baby" stuck in my head since my daughter has been singing it for days. She has a little crush on Justin Bieber hehe Thank you for sharing your favorites! :)
Comment: Thank goodness I am not the only one. Pennywise (along with really most clowns) freak me out - I did my scary monster as a clown, too. I will have to try to picture Dr. Frank for all clowns - maybe that will help (LOL).
Response: lol oh i know! this movie creeps me out so very badly! Luckily it is JUST this clown and not all of them!
Comment: I totally agree with what you said. How could be people not believe in ghosts? Your experiences are a lot more than mine. But I also got that mind blank thing. I do not remember anything from this other house that I lived in that was haunted. Weird. Thanks for the letter!! :)
Comment: Thank you for the list! I really enjoyed "The Giver," and "Brave New World" is one of my favorites too! And I haven't seen some of those movies but perhaps I will catch one on the Netflix some time =)

Comment: Thanks for the CD and I find it ironic that both of our ex's introduced us to Shinedown. I now listen to them almost all the time, have all three of them albums, and have seen them in concert twice! Thanks again! Happy Swapping.
Comment: OMG QUEEN ELIZABETH!!!!! You are such an amazing swapper. I love everything you got me and you wrapped everything. I think my favorite thing is the Twilight Thingy. I love it so much. I also love the Marie Antoinette Chapstick (where did you find that?) and Notecards, and the bath balls. LOL ( I said balls, JK) Elizabeth thanks for being such an amazing friend and swapper.
Response: I am so glad you liked everything. You almost didnt get the recipe cards! Those almost stayed here with me :) Now you see why I said dont use them on another swap. Makes sense now huh? :) I found the chapstick on etsy! The Twilight thingy was something I got as a swap myself that I knew you would love!!
Comment: Hi! I got your journal - listened to the CD today, hope to have time to read everything later this weekend, but it looked great, and I loved the papers you sent me! Thanks for putting so much effort into this!
Response: Thank you so much! And thank you for joinign the 2 other journal swaps I am hosting. These journal swaps certainly are addictive!
Comment: Thanks for your list, I had fun reading it while I was on the tram to the city! We had a few people in common (that are on my list too). There are lots of people on here that I may have to google though, as I don't know who they are! xo
Comment: Holy Moses; I have found my Mix CD Soulmate! Where have you been all my life? My only complaint is that "Cherry Cola" by Savage Garden is actually called "I Want You," (hehe) but other than that, I am LOVING this mix! Great job! :)
Response: You are the Nick to my Nora. Yah I am not sure why it showed up as Cherry Cola. I saw it as both titles though
Comment: I enjoyed your answers. Someone else who likes True Blood, you can have Eric. I am atleast glad he got a hair cut :P I am disappointed that they ended it how they did, now I have to wait. *tears*
Comment: love everything inside the parcel i recieved this morning!!! we have baskin robbins here but they never sell the candies here, so its definately a rare treat for me!!! and pop rocks!!!! i mean, original pop rocks!!! here there r only imitation pop rocks sold, so again, soo lucky to have these!!! thx a million again!
Comment: Already messaged you but thanks so much for this. It was really personal and the poetry and letter and picture were all good touches to really paint a vivid picture of the experience. Thanks so much lady.
Comment: Thanks for the great CD and the neat booklet, and you included my favourite band, The Beach Boys! Little Surfer Girl - lovely song - if you're interested, Dennis Wilson actually released a solo album - I can send you a track, if you wish....
Response: That would be cool yeah! Was he on your CD of deceased?
Comment: What an awesome mix! I liked that you had Free Your Mind & Body Beautiful on there. I espeically liked the 3 fold track list complete w/ the most FAB drag of all... RuPaul! Thank you so much hun!!!
Response: Body Beautiful is actually from the movie To Wong Foo with Patrick Swayze, John Legizumo and Wesley Snipes as drag queens!
