Comment: Thank you for the cards, the washi tape samples and the stamped card, it looks like it could be used for a postcard which is great since I participate in a lot of postcard swaps and on postcard sites.
Comment: Thank you for a cute box of yarn scraps! I love it, it made me laugh! I use these tissue boxes as little trash boxes of paper scraps and yarn scraps on my desk. So this is handy too. :) Thank you again!!
Comment: Thank you for the great selection of cards. I appreciate the handmade ones. I wasn't expecting that! Thank you for the handmade envelopes. I love them so much I need to earn how to make them myself!
Please put name of swap somewhere.
Response: sorry, I've been forgetting to put the name somewhere lately
Comment: Thank you for the card and all the tags! Love the Easter one and am going to use it for my cat's Easter basket - she will be wearing a cute Easter dress and has a basket of toys from the bunny....
Comment: WOW WOW and WOW What a great group of notecards. You are so creative with all the handmade cards. And the mini cards and sticky note tuck-ins. Inspiring for future projects. You are so generous with the quantity and the variety that you sent. I hope I get to send to you in one of thes swaps and attempt to give you a great a package as you gave me. Lucky Me says Thank You
Response: you are very welcome, glad it arrived safely
Comment: Jan...love the fun note cards and the colorful polka dots!! Thanks for a fun swap and the extra one all in a recycled calendar envie!!!! I saw your return address was from FL and it felt like I had received warm sunshine on a cold winter day here in NY...hugs, Charlene
Comment: Thank you for the great notecards and making the package so much fun to go through with all the little extras tucked here and there!! The envelopes and tags are awesome!! I can only imagine how much fun you must have when your whole family gets together with that many people!! Merry Christmas to you and your family too Jan!!
Comment: Thank you for the Santa postcard! I really like postcards that are made from greeting cards; it seems to focus attention more on the artwork than on the sentiment. This one, with it's embossed white background was fantastic, showing Santa as the bright spot of color as he filled the stockings. Thanks so much!
Comment: My father in-law does the same acts of kindness. He is 85 yrs young. This is a wonderful thing to do for the seniors who can't do it for themselves. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day every day. bearnbabs
Comment: Thank you so much! I'm saving the stocking stuffer to open at Christmas but the extras you sent are just lovely. I'm glad things have been getting better and hope that they only continue to improve :)
Comment: Thanks very much for 5 nice note cards that I will definitely put to good use, Jan. I hope your weather is beginning to warm up at least a bit by now. My brothers had a chilly Easter--one in southeastern S. Dakota and the other on the very top of Wisconsin on Lake Superior. They still have snow and should be getting more today according to weather maps this morning. Thanks for a nice swap!
Comment: Thanks for re-sending my little Valentine. I'm so glad you sent the original envelope with the "Return to Sender" sticker. I'm going to take it to the post office and ask them why this happens every now and again. I live in a very small apt. complex (6 units). There's no reason this should have happened. Mail delays I can understand, but this kind of thing makes me question the whole process. Anyhoo--grateful to get your nice note and the extras! Thanks!
Response: glad you received the second time. I had to deliver mail to my neighbors last week. We have the same number but a different street. Sometimes they don't put their glasses on. Ha Ha
Comment: Thank you for the nice cards. Also the gift tags. Did you make the 2 card ones ?? I used to make tags from old cards but got so far ahead that I won't have to make more for quite a while. Kind of addictive. Thanks again.
Comment: Jan, I received your Mail Tag Swap, and loved reading about you. I also grew up in a small town; we had a post office, a volunteer fire department, a bank and a grocery store. And lots of churches. Oh, and a couple of gas stations, so I guess my town must have been bigger than yours. There were a couple of times when I was living there that we actually had a little cafe where we could sit down and order a hamburger, but I don't know that I would go so far as to call it a restaurant. They made good hamburgers though... The cruise sounds like great fun! It will be quite different than the usual family cook-out type gatherings that my family used to have. Thank you also for the extras that you sent and that glorious black cat envelope! I loved it! Best wishes to your mother and thanks for a fun swap!
Response: glad you enjoyed the extras & my answers. Happy New Year & happy swapping
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful card and punches! We had no problems during the storm. We never even lost power. We know so many people who lost everything and are still struggling with getting their homes and lives put back together. That makes for a tough Christmas for so many! Please keep them in your prayers. I'm happy you and your family came through well! Merry Christmas!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful Christmas card, it’s going to make a great addition to my Christmas card display. Also thank you for the washi, I just about bought the one with the writing on yesterday, love the selection you sent 😀. Have a Merry Christmas.
Response: you are very welcome Merry Christmas to you as well
Comment: Thanks so much for your wonderful dream home list. I was surprised; my parents have a few of your listed items in their house! Not the library though - the one thing I wish they did have! Also, the lovely stationery and your gorgeous penmanship has me drooling. <3 Thanks again! <3
Comment: Hi Jan! I got your email - I'm so glad to hear about all of the good, charitable work you do. I don't know how you find the time to do it all! Thanks for joining my swap and helping to give back. :) ~Jen
Comment: Thanks for your letter! I don't think we have similar tastes in books, but my roommate might like some of your suggestions so I'll pass them on to her! It was cool to read about what you liked in those books, even though they aren't my thing :)
Response: thanks for the heart. I felt the same about the letter I got, but that's why we all swap.
Comment: I think that the envelope i received was for this swap. This is the second envie i received from you not mentioning the swap name or your username. That makes it very difficult to rate. But i did like the things you put inside.
Response: Sorry, but you are the one who messaged me saying that you didn't receive my envelope. Since you say you received 2, I am sure you received the first one I sent also. I don't appreciate sending you two. I will complain to the host of this swap
Comment: Thank you so much Jan for a beautiful assortment of tags (handmade and store-bought), I enjoyed so much going through each and all of them!! Anytime your son wants to come back, just let me know! Hugs!! ♥♥
Comment: Thanks so much for the granny squares. I am still contemplating what I will make at the end of the collection, but I love that I will have a collection of colors and patterns that did not come from my own stash. :)
Response: you're welcome and I know what I'm doing with mine. I have a charity that I crochet for in Chicago. thanks for the heart
Comment: thank you for the nice selection of papers. (no heart because, although the papers are nice, you did not follow the swap rules. all papers should have been at least 6x6". there were not 10 sheets of 6x6" papers included in the swap.)
Response: sorry. I didn't measure everything I sent you.
Comment: Belated, belated thank you for the stunning vintage postage-adorned envelope and wonderful vintage goodies, Jan! I always love peeking into the past and seeing how people corresponded, and I look forward to using the Christmas greenery stickers this year ♥
Comment: I love the handmade envie you made. The extra's you sent I will put to good use. I too remember those valentine swaps at school - usually we made them (in elementary school) I don't remember back then seeing that many of the store bought ones. When my kids were little - I surely remember them and making sure they made one out to every child - even those they didn't want to. lol
Comment: We were supposed to be in Florida today but the trip was canceled due to the storms that came up Sunday. Hopefully another time. Thanks for the card and hope you didn't get too bad of weather!
Response: thanks for the heart, sorry you missed the trip. I love it here
Comment: Hi Jan! Thank you so much for that kitty envelope all the goodies came in! I loved looking at it as it was CATS! Hehehe.....your rainbow stickers can be put to good use as well as name tag for a future swap with that beautiful little kitty shift sticker. (I'm not sure what those kinds of stickers are called....) it so too adorable! Right from Baba;s mouth she purred when i showed her it shifted as i tilted it! She saw it and is now laying in one of my craft boxes ready to sleep since it is now after midnight. Thanks again and the card you wrote on was lovely. Pink with white outlined flowers. Thank you! Happy New Year to you!
Response: thanks for the heart and glad you enjoyed what I sent. I love my little (6 pound) cat also.
Comment: I am very delighted with your generous package filled with a sweet variety of lovelies. I especially like the handmade Christmas envelope, the book, the handmade card and the bookmark. I seem to have gotten to busy and stopped doing what I love most, embroidery. Thanks for reminding me. Most of all, I love the Marigold seeds which will the first seeds I plant this spring. I'm curious, do any of your grandchildren live in FL ? Have a wonderful autumn filled with blessings :)
Response: glad you liked everything. No, none of my grandchildren live near me. They are scattered around the country
Comment: Jan! Your envelopes were totally wonderful and so beautiful. I had never thought of using calendar pages as a envelope. They DO always have beautiful pictures. Now I know what to do with that stack of old calendars that my husband has sitting around the house!. Thank you so much for the extra small envelopes and the one with the matching notecard! ♥♥
Comment: I see all the stamping, washi-ing,bordering & paper squares in a pretty patchwork- that took much creating &crafting on purple eyelet& string fasteners envie. Thank you for the inspiration for new things to try on my mail art. Also cute contents with the handmade envie 4 me to use. Delighted with the western motif long word sticker Perfect for an upcoming telegram swap!!.

Response: you are welcome. It's now my second favorite thing to do
Comment: I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to rate you! I thought I had, but I think it somehow didn't save. I remember, because you sent me a really pretty hand made card with a photo of a flower on it. It's still in the little box I store my note cards in because it is so pretty that I'm saving it for something special. Again, I'm so sorry and thank you so much for the note cards!
Response: no problem as I'm away but thanks for the heart
Comment: Hoping this rating finds you on your way to great health, Jan! Got your grannies today and I must say they're beautiful to look at...
I love your color choices and I thank you so much!! --Chari
Response: So far so good. More blood work is needed but I'm home
Comment: Your granny squares came today! What a nice surprise when I got home from work!
I thank you so much for these soft and beautiful squares....I absolutely love your color choices in them!! --Chari
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful note cards. It seems from your letter that you have an amazing family. I would love to live in Florida...have you seen any alligators down there...that is the one thing that scares me LOL
Response: My neighbors keep telling me that there is an alligator living in our pond, but I have never seen it. My cousin in St. Pete lives near a library with a pond, and the baby alligators cross the road. Fun
Comment: Oh my gosh...I love that you gave me those two pages to read...the book seems pretty awesome. I think I need to read it..I have to know if he ever gets to kiss Heather! Thanks for the extras too xxx
Comment: Thank you for the adorable granny. I like the color combination. I will also enjoy using the cards you sent. Many thanks. I'm like you. I use mine for everything except dishes. My grandkids pick out one every time they use my tub, it can take awhile. Quick placemats and napkins. I have a couple I use for doily's they are so pretty. Plus they are amazing in the shower. Many thanks.
Comment: I got your card thanks. There are lots of Christmas card swaps ongoing with similar names, so please put the swap name on the card. I was able to figure it out since you told me you are the swap host.
Response: sorry, You are right, there are so many Christmas swaps that I am in also.

Comment: Hi Jan :) I received your beautiful postcard today!! I love it so much⤠it made my day! The card is so cute and cozy with the little red bird on the tree :) it doesn't snow here where I live... I need a Christmas miracle :D happy swapping! Much Love ⤠-Vaishnavi xoxo
Response: It doesn't snow here where I now live, but am very thankful for that. Too hard for me to shovel now.
Comment: Thank you for the cute pocket letter! Usually I decorate one side and stick teas and goodies behind the decorated side, but you one upped me by using the extras as decorations ;) Thanks again!!
Response: Glad you liked it, I'm just starting on making pocket letters and I think I like them
Comment: Thank you for all of the really neat envelopes, and I love the map envelopes and extra maps that you included! Thank you so much! I will have fun creating envelopes with that paper!! You always make such nice things - thanks for another great swap. :-)
Response: Thank you for the heart. Glad you liked them
Comment: Thanks for the book. I am not familiar with this series but it looks interesting. The bookcrossing information inside the cover does not have a BCID number (space left blank). Is this book registered?
Response: if it doesn't have a number it is probably not registered. You can search by the title to see if it has a number, or just register it yourself.
Comment: I love the floral print envie, it's so cute! I love the two note cards you sent, the mint & triangles is cute, and I love how bright and colorful the flowers are. I love the post card of Detroit as I collect post cards from around the world. I love the little sun stickers, and the smurfs, I'd watch them all the time when I was little. The pink heart cut outs are awesome too. The book crossing website on the bookmark sounds really interesting, I'm going to be looking into it.
Comment: Hi Jan! Many thanks for the cute envies you created for this swap. The chicks will be perfect for mailing something for Easter! My absolute favorite though is the elephant envelope...my granddaughter, Noelle, is CRAZY for elephants...I'm going to mail her a surprise in the envie--she'll go nuts! Thanks again.
Comment: Thank you so much for the great dishcloths. I love the multicolored one. Both the stitch and the colors are great. I have a few in the red, white and green and I use those on my table during the holidays or when I feel like it. It will be joining it's new family!!! Take care and thank you again for a great swap...
Comment: I love the snowmen on the front of the card! I wish i was in Florida for the winter! I moved here from Texas and still haven't adjusted to the winters! Thanks so much for the wonderful postcard. Loved the Postcard template stamp! Hope your holidays are joyous!
Comment: Love labs. I had a black one named Keno many years ago. I too sent cards to the Red Cross. What a wonderful addition to our Holiday traditions. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful Holiday time. bearnbabs

Comment: Hello Jan,
Thank you for the 5 notecards you sent me for this swap. I appreciate the variety in color, design, and size. I look forward to adding this to my Notecard Collection. I hope we can continue to swap with one another.
Comment: Thanks for sending the Reading Log, Jan. I did not mind that it was late; thank you for telling me it would be. It was fairly interesting to know what you had read, but I wish you had written more than just a summary of each book.
Edit: I meant that I like it when people write their opinions about the books, not just a summary. I could read a summary on any website.
Response: sorry, how much more would you have liked? I don't understand.
Comment: Thank you for the great note cards! Sorry it took me so long to rate; there was a bit of an error in delivery(didn't go to my house), but I got it back. It wasn't your fault. Also, I love the envelope you made and your swap card. Very cool! :)
Comment: Thank you so much for all the stuff you sent. I am always in need of a pot holder. I love the envelopes you made from a calendar. I just finished making a bunch of those myself. The little bags are so cute. I just cleaned out my wrapping closet so I know just where these will go. I love the puppy card, the swap bot postcard & especially the swap bot pin. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Comment: Thank You so much for the envelopes. You know I’ve tried to make mine with the heavier paper but it always “cracks†buy yours are so nice the seams are not cracking, HOW DID YOU DO THAT!? I use a bone fold but and a “scoring board†but the heavier/stiffer papers ALWAYS crack. :-/
Well, in any event thank you for the beautiful handmade envelopes, the goodies and the packaging was extra special too ïŠ
Have a Great Day and God Bless!
Response: It really depends on the paper, some of the papers I have had have also cracked, especially making the smaller ones. glad you liked them
Comment: Thank you for the lovely paper. It will definitely be used. I wait until the last minute to wrap and do them all at once. I like to look at everything and make sure it's just right, has batteries etc. It's been snowing all day here. Just a fine gentle snow. Not getting very deep. Wishing you and your family a very Happy Holiday.
Comment: Thank you for sharing your interesting x-mas story and the beautiful card. Best wishes for your party with your late husbands family - all 95+ and have a wonderful time with your 4 sons and their families. Greetings from me to you.
Comment: Wow - You make nice notecards - Thanks very much - They are pretty . I have one request - Please remember to put a note from what swap it's from - There was no note - Probably an over-sight... but just wanted to remind you, Anyway - Thanks so much again, for the really nice notecards.
Comment: Got it! It's really pretty and 5.5 inches. I'm going to add a row and send it back to its owner, but not sew in the end in case she wants to rip it out, since it will be over 6 inches by then. Thanks...this is fun....I wonder where mine are?
Comment: Great envelopes-big and small and the one they came in. I've got a birthday coming up for a little girl I know that loves frog things so I think your frog envelope will be just the think for her-thanks
Comment: These envelopes are awesome!!! Why didn't I think of the double-sided tape! Excellent! I especially love the Whole Foods sunshine one. That one is going to be tough to send out... might have to keep that one!
Comment: Hi! TY so much for the lovely B-day wishes! I am getting spoiled with having so much awesome mail! Happy Belated Birthday to you as well! Hope you had a wonderful day! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: hello & thank you so very much for the delightful envie inside the polka-dot note: certainly summer
season seems to always end too abruptly [but usually with plenty of other activities scheduled for busy times ahead] - ours afforded only a few
especially hot days & for some reason, the last 80+ day resulted in dozens of mosquito bites for me, so i am probably happy that temps are going to be cooler!
i am glad you found swap-bot & know it will
mean lots of happy moments at your mailbox!
Comment: Thank you soo much...We love the Micky and Minnie one!!! It's sooo Cute!!! I wish when I had went to Flordia this past April, I had been doing this, Because I would really like to have PCs from there!!! but we will be going back soon, so I can't wait to get TONS!!!
Comment: Thanks for the swap:) I have never read the books from this author but already looking forward to read it soon! I loved these extras you sent me along too. And also thanks for letting me know via PM that you were unable to send me this swap sooner because of you got hurt. Hope you are already recovering!!
Comment: I rec'd your Christmas card yesterday (July 12). You are so talented! I've been studying it to see how you made it. I love the half fold idea. I gotta get into stamping. I love it! Thanks a million.
Comment: The shopping bag arrived yesterday - it's a nice sturdy one, thanks! I also got your two pennies - my aunt once told me that when giving someone a purse you should put a penny in it (never give someone an empty purse!). Funny you should mention that!
