Comment: Hello kinda neighbor! I actually have family in the same area in Mountain View. I love going to see shows at the Shoreline Amphitheater. The traffic here in the Bay is the worst traffic I have ever seen. Literally, nothing stresses me out as much as the traffic & drivers here! One time I left SF (the Marina district) and it took me 90 minutes to get back to Sausalito... less than 20 miles away! Knitting sounds nice. I never learned, but I do know how to crochet.
Comment: This is a very pretty card and I can see myself also picking it up to buy for swaps and then wondering...what was I thinking? Of course this is why we have swaps like WTH heh cause we all just collect PCs like mad and then go through our little hordes later in surprise. Hehe <3
Comment: Thank you so much for the card MarHelene. I know what its like to be stuck home, I was out for almost 2 months with a bad back!! So I understand you! Thanks for taking the time to send it to me! Have a restful day!
Comment: Hi! Thank you so much for the postcard, I love it! Haha, I'm still learning, I only know little bits and pieces of the language as my Great Grandma is Dutch/Indonesian, so she's tried to teach me here and there. But it is quite hard. I wish you a very lovely week ^_^
Comment: Thanks for the coloring postcard. That's great to grow a hibiscus and geranium. I recently repotted 2 mini orchids I "saved" from a flash sale a few years ago. I'm wondering if I can ever get them to flower and find out their colors.
Comment: Thank you for the letter and extras. We don't have those stores here (very rural town, you'd like it.. Lots of farms!) but they sound fun. I will have to see if there is one in Reno since I go there often.
Comment: You're reading a lot! I have a book for home, a book for work, and a book club book, so I get it.
MY mother loves the Sue Grafton books. I have a list of her alphabet, and I'm always on the look out for her books at book sales. I haven't tried them though, not a thriller reader.
I have to look up the others, thank you!
Comment: I used to make swaps with more partners, but cut them down because of the cost. Now I do them with one or two partners. It's nice to have more partners for members who are trying to get their numbers higher, but I can't afford to do more than 2 at a time right now. So that is my limit. lol. Have a great day, thanks for joining my swaps, and happy swapping to you.....
Comment: This card was perfect for me! I am intrigued by Holland and would love to travel there one day. The peacock is also one of my favorite animals and the blue and white pattern reminds me of my grandmothers blue willow China which I now have. Ah so many feelings from a postcard. If I could give multiple hearts I would!
Comment: thank you so much. How is your garden now? i dont have own garden, i have balcony with quite a space for gardening which i do use and we have now new community garden but the draught this year and the previous tooo is killing it all, anyway we try what is possible
Response: Everything is a bit dry, but stuff is growing!
Comment: Hello and thank you for the great repro vintage Vegas card. I love it. And it's really neat because there are the modern hotels (Luxor, Bellagio, MGM) in the background, but you gotta pay attention to know it's not a true vintage card. Really appreciate it!
Comment: Hello Marjolene, thanks for the pickles card. there used to be an old restaurant here in Pittsburgh that would drop a bowl of pickles on the table as soon as you sat down. Alas, long since closed. Best, al
Comment: This swap was specifically for a postcard but I don't mind the card. Enjoy your granddaughter. Mine is the light of my life. She's almost 12. I received your post card today. That is a really pretty painting. Thank you so much!
Comment: <3 for you!
Thank you for the lovely PC of San Fran, I have only been there once, but I would love to visit again. Possibly see Alcatraz :) Also, I loved the moon-stamp, very different. We only have rectangular stamps here in Australia. Happy swapping <3 :)
Comment: Thank you for this ugly postcard. We have had a few scares here on the island. The worst one seemed to have lasted for 5 minutes. It was only for 2 minutes. It made me feel like I was going to pass out. Everything was shaking. I froze! It was horrible. Nothing in our home broke. I hope we never have one like that again. The other times were shorter.
Response: I don't feel the smaal earthquakes anymore but this big one was scary!
Comment: Marjoleine~So nice to meet you! I love the San Fran trolley PC you sent me. My son his girlfriend and her family were in San Fran this time last year. I heard all about the trolleys from them. Thanks for this lovely PC~
Comment: Hi Marjoleine, thank you so much for the super interesting and very thoughtful Origami in the Garden postcard! I hosted that origami swap and it was my very first swap to host, so the postcard you sent me is extra special! Thank you once again, and happy new year :) From Sophie
Comment: Marjoleine, thank you for the postcard showing me where you once lived. You sound like me when I was younger. I did everything. I danced until I was 60 in shows. The Cancan finely did me in. My knees could not take it. Happy New Year, Shirley Thank you for the second postcard. Shirley
Comment: Aw, thank you for the beautiful postcards! I hope you can get to a glass blowing place next time you're in Seattle. Making a pumpkin every autumn sounds like a wonderful tradition, I may have to steal that! There's a few places in Seattle to do so, but maybe 45 minutes outside is Tacoma which I think is the glass blowing capital of the world, if I'm not mistaken (or, at least of the US!). Happy holidays! :)
Response: Steal ahead!
I do it with girlfriends and every year we add another person
Comment: Hello! Sorry for the delayed rating: I was on a road trip and just got back and made it to the post office to pick up my parcels. Thank you so much for all the fun stationery! I love the washi tape.
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! Our weather here is not very fall-like either, last week we were in the 80s. It's a bit cooler this week, which is nice for Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoy the holiday!
Comment: Marjoleine~ I am so sorry for this late rating . . . your beautiful envelope and all it's contents fell under my craft table and I just found it when empty my trash can. Thank you for the beautiful envelopes and the extras.
Comment: LOVE the Wonder Woman card :) Ohh yeah we have already passed through Fall and Winter is trying it's hardest to start here. We get days of snow then days of melting - makes the roads interesting to drive and everyone seems to of forgotten how to winter hahah! Thank you for the great card :)
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card! We've been dealing with wildfires all summer. Thankfully the ones here in the part of Oregon I live in have been contained or eliminated. I hope the California fires are contained soon; so much has been lost.
Comment: Your handwriting is amazing! Loving it! I also can't wait until the cooler weather but I will probably complain when it's below freezing. I just like it chilly enough to drink teas and be cozy in warm sweater :)
Response: I had a good day with the writing.
More than a post card or note card and my hand hurts.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Comment: Dank je wel voor jouw prachtige kaartje Marjoleine. En wat leuk dat ik jouw eerste (? kon het cijfer niet lezen, er zat een dikke zwarte stempel op..) Nederlandse swap ben! Leuk he dat het zo internationaal is :) Happy swapping!
Response: Je bent mijn 2e maar even goed leuk inderdaad!
Comment: Hello! Thank you so much for the "Grey Dog" postcard from New York City! It's not so ugly! ;) I'm not sure what happened to the first postcard--I suppose it is floating around out there somewhere in "postal land!" Thank you again!
