Comment: Thank you for the very nice items! The envelope arrived with an open tear on the bottom so I don't know if anything came out during it's journey here. The postcards, large scraps of paper, stationery, German catalog card, envie with 3 unused postage stamps, and the bookplate were inside along with the note you wrote. The sending envelope had flowers on it and machine postage. The swap did say "load up your envelope with images related to writing, inside and out" and nothing on the envelope indicated it was a writing themed swap. I hope your dog walking / sitting is going well. Sounds like a fun way to get paid and have time with furry friends.
Comment: I really like the Crystals that you have sent. And i you have any questions or needs with Crystals feel free to message me I have done alot of research into the subject. Thanks again and it was worth the little wait. lol
Comment: You are 100% right, when I got 5 of 5 I forgot to rate [email protected]
:D You know already though that I enjoyed everything you sent [email protected] can't wait for Septembers All Month Long
Response: XOXO, and you are amazing for writing back Dear!!!!
Comment: Received the PC's today and the great postage stamps. Our grandkids parents just got a camper so I'm hoping now that they might travel a bit they will send pc's to me. Thank you very much have a great day.
Comment: Hi Danielle! Love the chunk and sorry you were having a crazy day! I find with kids that does seem to happen for time then not! LOL! Snoozing and writing pcs sounds like a good plan as well! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thanks for the TJ Channa Masala chunk! I realized I haven't been to Trader Joe's since the pandemic (it's not real close to my house). I like to take my Mom so she can get wine, but were not letting her go out and shop yet. Hang in there! Virtual hug
Comment: Hi Danielle, Thank you for the nice notecard and goodies. Love the vintage postcards and Snoopy letter set. You are very kind. I hope you are enjoying teaching your kids the games. Thanks again for everything!
Comment: Thank you so much for your uplifting card! This virus sucks for sure. I work as a freelancer (cultural events) and there‘s so much extra work (cancelling stuff, postponing) but I don’t even know for sure if I will get paid. Crazy times. Thanks for being in the front row btw. And take good care of yourself! Stay safe!
Comment: Swap marked as sent in July 10. Contacted swapper and was told that it had been misplaced and would be resent. Hasn’t been back on since July 19 & I sent a message yesterday but it remains unread. If this arrives will be happy to change to a 3.
7/28/19 rcvd green envelope. Post office beat up. Like stamps and the notecards thanks. Thank u
Comment: Thank you for the swap Danielle. When you messaged me on Feb 27, 2019 that you would be sending that day, the send by date Feb 22, 2019 had already passed. The postal sticker stamp you purchased on March 7, 2019 means the swap didn’t go out on the date you stated. To be fair I rate the 3. As you were host of this swap I expected it would run smoother.
Response: sorry I was indeed late, but hope you enjoyed your goodies!
Comment: Oh, I just adore this sweet, vintage note card! I always thought the Strawberry Shortcake animals were cuter than the actual girls ;+) I'm in LOVE with the vintage stationery items you sent--especially the mousie fold-a-note; how cute is that? Love Ziggy, too. Thanks for choosing a bundle of lovelies for me and for being my pal for a month ;+)
Comment: Danielle you are so sweet thank you so much! The little papers are so cute! Lol and yes! Of course I know who woody the woodpecker is. I love cartoons and just animation in general some of my favorite old time ones are popeye and huckleberry hound but I dont know about chilly the penguins. Thanks again for all the super kawaii stuff have a great power year
Comment: Thank you, Danielle, for all the lovely bits you sent and for your sweet note. I completely agree about simplifying! I'm in love with the pc's you sent--especially that large map card. You chose such fun things for me; I love it all!
Comment: Thank you so much for your note. I hope things slow down for you very soon. Always remember to take time for yourself each day even if it's just a few minutes. If you wait until you have more time it will never happen. You have to make it happen.
Comment: I recently found a bag of old swaps and this was in there. So sorry for the delay in rating.. And thank you for the adorable card.
Hope yoga went good. I'm tempted to join a gym but I know it would be better to find a way to do PT again.
I have my MSW too though I'm not working in the field right now due to my health issues. I hope to one day be able to go back to direct service.
Comment: Absolutely the most positive message on a card I've ever read! Thank you for that! I absolutely want to follow your idea - I also want to practice being happy! I don't blame you for liking fall - the autumn colors in your area is majestical! I'd love to visit your corners of the world one day!
Ps. Loved the stamps - never seen them before! 😊
Comment: To the sweet mom who sent me a map of Connecticut, ...
thank you very much ^^ :*
Spring must be coming to your place right now?
Have I mentioned that I like your profile? ;) Hihi!
Thank you very much Tita Danielle, and blessings to you and your fambam! ~ :D
Comment: I understand how life can throw curves at us. So no worries. I enjoyed getting items in my mailbox to make it happy. Thank-you. I will look for future swaps---this is actually my favorite of all times (and 7 items in a month is fine..unless its a busy month). Have a great weekend.
Comment: Danielle - Dominion is playable by two players, yes. You really should try it someday! Recently we've been playing quite a bit of Pandemic - it's a cooperative game and can be quite fun as well!
Comment: Hi Danielle! Thank you for your letter. I completely get the apathy you're feeling--I often feel the same way. Oh, and in case you were curious, I Google Translated the Polish card you sent! It reads:
The celebration Your Birthday
let will be another opportunity to provide you
my good will and sincerity to you.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ will always be with you.
Obviously it's a little sketchy, but I'm so interested in how it got into your possession! Lol
Comment: Adorable snoopy paper/envelope you used. I agree,,,all these letters have been keeping my mailbox full. I see you're taking a break for the happy mailbox all month long, but I will be joining in again as soon as you start up (send me a quick note to remind me----I am hooked on your swaps). I know in April there should be the WRITE-ON challenge. I hope to see you there too. Always a pleasure, take care.
Comment: hello & thank you for the fun post card!
i hope you're enduring the last few weeks
(?fingers crossed!?) of winter: yes, indeed,
kudos to the post office for helping us
pass the time in a happy friendly manner
Comment: Thank you for sending a month of happy mail! The hydrangea rubber stamp was such an awesome surprise! I'm giving a 5 as you extended the deadline for the swap but still sent 1 letter late and one with postage due.
I hope you are successful in tackling that bucket list for 2017!.
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful PC! Train trips are always fun. We have taken the rail from Seward to Fairbanks, here in Alaska and saw some spectacular country! I love living here, it's a dream come true for someone who lived in Wisconsin for the first 40 years. Happy New Year!!! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thanks for the goodies :) I didn't know about the Circus Collective of San Diego, so I got to learn something new about my "backyard" and I loved the Yellowstone pc, Ansel Adams is one of my photography heroes.
Comment: Danielle, thank so much for the cute postcard. I am dying at this story!! It made my day. Toddlers are my favorite, so innocent and hilarious. I just became an aunt just three weeks ago and I already can't wait for these funny little moments with my little Amelia :) I hope you and the girls have a wonderful fall and enjoy the beautiful weather and fall fun!
Comment: Belated thank you for the gorgeous, picturesque Currier & Ives card (I also love the vintage font of "A Merry Christmas" on the reverse!), vintage postage, and for sharing your Christmas plans :) I feel like it was just yesterday that I finally took down the miniature tree with ornaments representing my favorite places, people, and memories. I also love that this card reminded me of one of my favorite secular Christmas songs of all time, "Sleigh Ride" :D Hope you are well and having a good weekend! I am in disbelief that the Olympic events/sports themselves are actually over, and all that remains is the Closing Ceremony.
Comment: Thanks for the Hawaiian Rain Forest card, I love it! I remember this set of postage stamps. If you make it to the Big Island of Hawaii, visit Volcanoes National Park--there's a bit of rain forest you can hike through, and it's right near an old lava tube you can walk through!
Comment: Thank you!!! I love chocolate chip too. Coffee makes my heart race but I enjoy an iced vanilla latte at Starbucks every now and then. I'm an unsweet iced tea drinker---it doesn't make me go crazy! LOL Happy Swapping!
Comment: Hi Danielle! Your weekend sounds very busy and fun! It is amazing how stuff piles up when we have fun, though - sigh!! LOL! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)

Moved to michigan for 3 years and always felt that way i was coming back west. Not that other places are not wonderful we just have affinities to certain places in the world! Yes to taking better care of our health! Cheers!
Comment: I loved this! Thank you so much!!! I have a scene tattooed between my feet, one side is a moth, the other is a butterfly, they each have flowers, and when I ho,d my feet together, you can see the cross that's hidden in them. Feet tattoos hurt! Lol!

Comment: thanks for your letter. Before I moved to Florida 2 years ago, I lived in Wallingford and Meriden Connecticut. I loved the snow & cold when I was your age, but it just got to be too much for me to handle by myself when we had blizzards every year.
Comment: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I have so enjoyed having you as a swap partner and getting to know you and your family better. I have loved receiving each envelope and then the fabric I received Was so, so beautiful. Thank you doesn't seem like enough but they won't let me have more hearts to give. I am giving them in my heart though.
Comment: Danielle, thank you for the postcard. Glad you found someone. The love of my life came back into my life after 25 years. My daughter couldn't stand him when she was little, so we parted. Now she thinks he is the greatest and my grandchildren love him to bits. Shirley
Comment: thanks for the letter! love the tape. Do not worry about the cast iron! wash it with soap and hot water and scrub it well (nothing too abrasive). Then put it on the burner and turn it on low to dry. When dry, season by wiping a nice amount of any eating oil (vegetable oil) and then put in the oven at 350 for 15 minutes. If it has a wood handle so you can't do that, just turn the burner on low. Sometimes you can just wipe it out instead of scrubbing, but I never hesitate to scrub. The biggest thing is not to let it rust, which is why you put it on the stove on low until all the water dries. I love my skillets--and you will too! take the leap. You do have a lot of plans--I wish you well with all of them.
Response: Sooooo helpful I will take the plunge I thank u for all this info
Comment: Thank you for the cup and saucer postcard. You're blessed to have 4 seasons. We have about a month of cool weather and summer the rest of the year. We never know what we are expecting. LOL.It was 80 yesterday, we got rain, it was 40, tomorrow it will be over 80 again.
Comment: Thanks for the card--visited Seattle (and the market) a couple of years ago. I remember buying plums as big as softballls.I've only got 5 more states to go and I've done them all. Sadly, not gone to other countries. Oh well.
Comment: Hi Danielle, you had a busy day!!! It sounded so much fun; especially beginning with a donut, and I agree about the coffee. I'm having a cup right now as I write you. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Have a great weekend and most of all enjoy life, Jane
Comment: I am so glad you used my idea to make cloths! My cousin told me that they used to use her dad's old shirts, too. I cannot believe that you want to be a certified children's yoga instructor! My kids love yoga! We do Yoga Pretzels a few nights a week!
Comment: Thank you very much for the nice selection of postcards :) Appreciate that almost all are non-touristic cards and I really enjoy reading about you :) You seems like a fun and optimistic person which is great ^_^ Love the extra note card with teddy bear, cool washi tape and wonderful stamps ♥
Comment: Hello! I think visiting State Parks is a great goal. I have heard that if you go to the State Parks website there is some sort of kids' passport that you can order and they will send to you. The kids can have their passports stamped at each park they visit!
Comment: I hope you enjoyed your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals! We had prime rib (my dad was the chef) and I made lasagna for today's meal. Soon, we will finish off the meal with Hummingbird Cake. Merry Christmas!

Comment: I have lived in Southern California most of my life. I think I would have liked 4 seasons as a child, but as an adult I don't even like driving in a little bit of rain. I wish we could get the colors without the weather.
Comment: Thank you, Danielle, for the lovely envie that you sent me for this swap. Boy, you sure do sound like a busy young lady! I have always thought that girls would be challenging to raise. I had two boys, but sometimes I think they were as moody as girls can be. Best wishes for a happy future. pobuffy
Comment: Danielle, thank you for the wonderful postcard of a covered bridge. I miss the beautiful fall colors in New England. Where I live now, the leaves turn brown and fall(no colors). Congrats on #3. Shirley
Comment: Thanks so much for this detailed letter! It took me a while to get to all of it, as I am in the final days of the school year as well ... and everyone barges in whether I lock my office door or not :) I loved your letter, and the fact that Godzilla attends all your tea parties. Hope the trip was fun, and enjoy that summer!!
Comment: Thank you 'so much' for this special card! It will be set aside as one of my favorites-- my best friend (from the 5th grade) has always called me 'EWE' (as in eeewee) since I was doing a crossword puzzle and asked him what a three letter world for a female sheep was (a dunce moment/embarrassing) especially since he raised sheep!!! Still, to this day, that is the only name he calls me--very endearing to me!!! Also, thank you for the very kind words you wrote on the back! You gave me a lot of thought and time! xxx

Comment: I can't believe you had an Assateague Lighthouse card to send! I love this lighthouse; we vacationed for a week in Chincoteague over the summer and when I went to go see the lighthouse I thought I was going to get carried away by the BIGGEST mosquitoes I've ever encountered! Needless to say, it was a SHORT visit to the light! LOL!
Comment: Thank you Danielle for the Snowman Valentine's Day Postcard you sent to me for the swap! Yes, no "natural snowman" here in Florida. However, the "snowman" character from movie "Frozen" has become very popular here in Central FL. Found some large postcards with "Frozen" snowman in Sunny Florida cartoon scene. Cute!
Comment: You were the sweetest partner for this! I really looked forward to your letters every week! Absolutely loved the final one. You will have a beautiful Spring baby! My mother knits & crochets. I help her find new patterns on the internet. We found a knitted "crown" for new borns & drafted our own pattern from photo. Recently found "No more bald babies," a woman who knitted yarn "wigs" for her toddler girl who hasn't much hair. Showed web views to my Mom, she said its great way to use cotton, & other soft yarns to make "wigs," fun hats with bangs, pig tails, pony tail, for little ones. My best wishes to you & your new baby!

Comment: Thank you for the postcard and note. It is wonderful looking at a year old exploring things. Beleive me when they reach their teen years they still will be pulling things out of their drawers. Only now it isn't cute, but a disaster. Enjoy your daughter while she is young. Shirley

Comment: What a delightful postcard. I especially appreciate your kind message on the back. I agree, it is the best, getting a chance to meet creative and caring people through Swapbot. Lovely!
Part of your msg was covered by the postmark, and i think you were writing that you would like to move to CT. Is that right?
If so, I will encourage you! I am from Seattle originally, and decided to move to Hawaii. This was a big turning point for me, realizing that I could do that if I wanted to. I lived there for 3 years, and loved it. Follow your Dreams, Danielle! Friends, Celia

Comment: What a beautiful swap from start to finish! The older prepaid envie with .15 cents postage and the other two amazing .15 cents stamps were awesome! Then I received a lovely little envie inside with the word "stamps" written on it and most likely vintage as well, and inside that envie was some vintage selvage from 1979 and in one corner was Mr. Zip! I did want to tell you that the postcards which you sent totally as an extra, got all bent and crushed. Just thought you should know that how you packaged them didn't work so well, hehe. Not a big deal, not a required part of the swap or anything, but just so you know!

Wow, you do love this time of year if her middle name is Autumn... and she was born in Autumn! And a gnome for Halloween must've been cute. I am a full blown Christmas tree with ornaments and lights and a big glittery gold star on my head. :-) We are going trick or treating at Disneyland this year on Halloween. :-)

Well first of all it's the first postcard I have received since joining so I was excited about that but the post card itself is perfect because I used to lovvee Happy Bunny and I happened to get it on my first day back to college so the school saying could have come at a better time. Most all I loved what you wrote. My favorite was your cute advice. I will keep it forever and always keep those in mind. I hope everything goes well with your pregnancy and your baby is healthy and right on time! :)

Comment: Wow - I am so impressed with what you sent! It looks like you put a blindfold on and picked random stuff - which is exactly what I was hoping for this swap. Thank you so much! The envie looked like it had been through a warzone - beat up, re-taped and mangled like crazy ... looks like it had a fun trip to Canada! The contents were fine though. Comment: Hello Danielle,
It is interesting that 3 of the 4 matchboxes you did for me, I did for my partner. We must have been sending messages along the same wavelengths. I love each and every matchbox. In the wing box, I especially liked the little girl with wings. In the vintage box, I like the typewriter key. In the Fall box, I liked the black fuzzy balls and last but least, in the purple box I love all the varied purple items you were able to find and shared with me. I appreciate all that you incldued in the matchboxes. I just wanted to let you know a favorite piece in each box. I will add these to my matchbox collection proudly. My matchbox collection is growing and is displaying unique boxes. Thank you for the felt figures and the 2 bags of glitter, as well. Hope we have future encounters on Swap-bot. Have a wonderful Fall season.
Comment: Thank you so much! I have not seen this movie yet so I am excited to see it. My kids saw the M and Ms so they were gone quickly. :) I have to remember to open my packages by myself from now on!
Comment: I'm so sorry for not leaving this rating sooner, we occasionally have mail miscommunication around here, your card must have arrived last week! Thank you for the good cheer, and I'm still laughing at your quote; the last thing I did at work this evening was mop up a broken bottle of perfume (mostly with paper towels and my feet, as I wanted to avoid the shards of glass), and my shoes still smelled quite strongly when we ran out for some groceries! Glitter always brings a smile too! ;)
Comment: Hello Danielle! Thank you SO MUCH for the package you put together for me! I loved it! The confetti surprised me so much hahaha! Thank you for sending all that birdie stuff, the stickers, the parrot postcard :D:D:D The 1909 postcard is awesome, really! And i enjoyed so much the music :) You deserve 10000 hearts hehehe, Greetings from Spain!

Comment: Honestly, some of the extras had nothing to do with the DS but it didn't matter. They were AWESOME. Seriously cheered up a crappy day. I didn't know who Gunsou was but thanks to Japanese in high school, I figured it out and it looks great. Something I'll be watching! Thank you so much for all the cute things. You're awesome.
Comment: Mission Accomplished! Wow! Did you ever think you'd get through it?! Whew! Thanks for swapping with me to a very hard scavenger hunt! I can't wait to try to grow a garden that Martha Stewart can be proud of! Then bake some heart shaped cookies! I love the reusuable grocery bag - I'm going Green! The "W" post its and wallie stamps, silly string, and glittery magic key are all icing on top of the "tacky" plastic pink flowers :)

Comment: Thank You! The playlist looks good. I will pop it into the car tomorrow and listen on the way to to work. Plus, they say we are going to have our first snow tomorrow morning, so it'll be almost like Christmas!

Comment: Danielle, thanks so much for the wonderful wishlist package! Seeing that fat little envelope was so exciting - and now, I feel like I've hit the handkerchief jackpot!! The rick-rack and laces are so sweet, and I LOVE the vintage piping - that green is perfect. The fabric is also great - I see a paper doll pincushion in my immediate future! Thank you again for your thoughtfulness & generosity - you really made this swap a pleasure for me!
Comment: Danielle sent to me from the heart. She sent me things, that I liked .. either by her luck or that she took time to look and read little things about me. That makes a person feel special, and I need that from time to time. :) Fabric and Easter cards I so needed! and all in tissue paper with hearts and a vintage bear valentine. Thank You Bunches!
Comment: Thank you for listening to my wishes and sending me a nice collection of things for my collection. I am sure I sent you a personal thank you note and so I hope you have received it by now.
