Comment: Thanks for the cool card featuring the circus performer on horseback, Amy, and for choosing one of those great circus stamps as well. Sadly the wicked mail delivery witch destroyed them with her thick black marker -- but don't get me started...Charming rubber stamp image too :)
Comment: I am very sorry that the first original mail hasn't been delivered - mail service can be crazy sometimes. You have been so nice and kind both in replying to my messages and in resending.... Thank you. And may you be repaid in the same way that you treated and comunicated with me.

Comment: Thanks, these are one of my favorite kind of cards. I have quite a few but not this one. I used to have a trading partner in the UK and he would send me cards of marching military bands and such. My favorites of those were when the unit or band had an animal mascot, most of which were big white goats with massive horns. Have a great weekend. Rich

Comment: Amy!!! You are amazing!!! I cannot thank you enough for the gorgeous stamps and beautiful sheet music!!! I create collages and I cannot wait to use the beautiful stamps and surprises you kindly sent me! I also have a "someday art stash" and am so grateful you shared some of your treasures with me!!! Thank you!!!!!!
Comment: Thank you for the interesting post card. I loved the stamps and your note about your roses. We too moved into a house in October then had to wait a long time to see what plantings came up and what color the flowers were. I hope you get a good surprise =o)
Comment: Wow Amy! I love everything! That envelope is gorgeous, I didn't want to open it :) Your seahorse carved stamp is fabulous. You must have a lot of patience for that! The tree ATC is perfect! :)Thank you so much for a great swap and Happy Valentines Day :)
Comment: Hello! Thank you so much for the nice zine and letter! :) I enjoyed reading it! :)
I can recommend Morocco especially! I've also been to Istanbul which is really a lovely city, but Morocco was more special since the culture is much more different from ours.
I also play music! Piano, recorder and guitar. Right now I learn guitar, piano and recorder I studied when I was younger. :)
Thank you also for sending the Chinese envelopes! They are lovely and your envelope is awesome! Thanks for everything! :)
Comment: Hi Amy. I was thrilled to get your zine today - my very first! I loved the prints and the ephemera, too. I could write all kinds of things, but I'll save that for a letter which I'll write by the end of the week. Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the print! It's super cute! I have done a few linocuts. They're fun as Heck! Oh my cool stamps too! At first I was kinda bummed that my partners were in the US because I don't have many foreign stamps but you've made my day! Thank you for your generosity!
Comment: Cute, cute card!! Fantastic 'extra' - LOVE the rusty key & the Paris tag - both will go on my inspiration board. Thank you, thank you!!!
Sorry for the late rating - I loved this swap so that cards would come closer to Christmas, but then also the crunch came!
I am very grateful for your heartfelt mail!
Comment: I am so sorry for rating this so late. I have been taking a long break from swapbot because I was preparing for my wedding. It was over now and I am back on swap bot. Thank you for your swap. I love everything you sent me. I am sending you a private message to see if you are interested for a private swap :)
Comment: How FABULOUS! I loved the embossed envelope! Was it all one stamp, or did you combine different stamps for it? Loved everything you included, and it was super timely because I just watched Gravit recently so I actually knew what a Soyuz was. ;) thank you again for a creative swap!
Comment: You are amazingly talented!! Thank you so much for the wonderful images, doing more than required, and a completely awesome envie!! I hope we get a chance to swap again! (PS - smiled when I saw your addie - I'm from Grass Valley!)

Comment: Thanks for a great swap, Amy. Loved your SA map envie. I've traveled in Colombia, Venezuela & Peru & dream about the countries further south. The handmade papers & postcard are perfect choices for me & I enjoyed your beautifully hand-decorated letter. Good luck with the Arabic. I admire your moxie!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely and creative envie and I just love the hand carved stamp ATC! I have recently chosen a charity-sale book with a Renaissance angel on the cover by an author I've enjoyed as well (A Thread of Grace by Mary Doria Russell). Currently I am totally absorbed by Hugh Howey's "Wool" . Thanks again :0)
Comment: Hi Amy- you are such a fantastic stamp carving artist! WOW! Thank you so much for the awesome rabbit and labels. I too wasn't sure about the kraft/bling combo (love kraft paper, not so much "bling"), I think it definitely works here- your singing mail is adorable. I'm just starting to carve stamps, it's fun but a bit frustrating. Are you just using the speedyball carver thingie? I just realized yesterday the white carving block is far inferior to the pink, what a crumbly mess! Any tips for a newbie?
Comment: Thank you for your great colourful envie of rubber stamps and the swap. I appreciate the message you sent. The other swap sent is fantastic. I miss using rubber stamps, and your black-and-white one is suberb with the cool playing card. Too bad the postal clerk used pen to mark off the nice stamps used. The Christmas stamps are great. I'm in swap euphoria - whew!
Comment: Hi Eclectonote! Thank you so much for the very cool postcard! Love the pieces you chose and how you put them together. I think getting to the market and the library constitutes a workout so ... you're good! Ha ha ha! XOXO
Comment: thanks for the nice Lake Tahoe post card , didn't have one of those , I have been there and seen it . Comment: Hi Amy! Thank you for your wonderful airmail envie and all the lovely goodies inside! My baby twins got into my mail stash and threw some stuff around, but I'm pretty sure you sent me some cool postcards and some cute stickers!? Thanks again!
Comment: I always love seeing you in the mail -the silver embossed stamps were awesome -so pretty with the blue postage :D Thank you for the lovely year of the horse envies (very cool) and the squirrely bag that I went ape over! Ha ha. Wish I could've been at the Ex Postal Facto event -sounds like an amazing time. Hope you're enjoying the start of Spring over there -Take Care :D
Comment: I was so excited to see your original envie in my mailbox! LOVE the homemade plague doctor stamp. You have mad talent, dear! Did you use acrylic paint to stamp with? If not, you have to tell me what kind of ink you used. Love the shiny texture of it. Can't wait to get these glued down! The moons are gorgeous....LOVE the Chinese New Year envie. That will be put to use ....EEEEEmmediately. Thanks for sending mail art and goodies that are really me! You took the time to read my profile and I kiss you for it! Until we swap again, my dear! PS: I can't wait for Sunday nights to watch a new episode of HBO's "Looking" which was filmed in San Francisco. What a beautiful city that is, will all of the steep hills. Thanks for the ephemera from there too!
Comment: Wow. Thank you so much! I've recently thought about carving my own rubber stamps. I love your designs. They're amazing! ;-) Thanks also for the German book pages. How awesome to now have crochet instructions in German! I love it! <3 You really made my day!
Comment: Thank you so much Amy! I'm pretty sure all of those stamps are new to my collection, love them all! I was just in San Fran for the holidays actually and love all the boba tea in Chinatown:) The circus themed goodies are so neat, thank you so much for everything♥
Comment: Thanks for the terrific card, Amy. The coffee print reminds me of a wood block print my brother made for a coffee shop,c. 1960's, (that unfortunately I couldn't find to use for my card!). Wonderful UN coffee stamp too. Sadly, some crazed US Postal System worker saw fit to slash through your beautiful vintage postage stamps with a broad black marker--but don't get me started... I must be in need of a cup of Cosmic Perfection!
Comment: Oh my goodness! Two 46 cent make my day surprises! How did you make the holder for the stamps? Loved all the different packaging ideas. You are first rate when it comes to making my day! A thousand thanks! Thanks for sending me the directions! You are THE BEST!
Comment: What a clever atc. I never would have thought of using that closure. Thank you for reading my profile and sending extra goodies. I would love to carve stamps, and have all the supplies to do so, just haven't the nerve to start one yet. Wonder Woman was my comic hero when I was young. Anyway, thank you for a great swap.
Comment: Your writing is like poetry! I loved reading this letter, especially the details of your home~ It was great to hear about your routines (I also have nail polish scattered around my desk and work area). Thanks so much for an awesome letter!
Comment: Hi Amy, I must be having a bad case of "dumb"... I didn't realize till just now that you were the same Amy D. that I know so well from the Consortium... I love your little fox!
And I really like all the stamps for this SB swap, and of course I love the PC... what could be better... a train
Hope you survived the snow!
Comment: Hey Amy! -thanks for using such wonderful Christmas postage! ♥♥♥ Always love seeing your carved images and thank you for the lovely foiled bits (will be perfect embellishments for some scrap ornaments I've thinking of making). Hope you're staying warm and enjoying the snow while it lasts :D

Comment: Thank you for the Peace and Love cover, the first day issue and the stamped image. I am so impressed with the image. I have hand carved two stamp - one a chevron and the other my first name - neither very hard. Yours is fabulous.
Comment: WOW! Thank you so much for everything! You are a stamp goddess, I'm serious. I have been wanting one of the Einstein stamps for over a year and you sent me 2! You clearly read my profile to know I'm into science, space, and astronomy. Your hand carved stamp ATCs are great! I'm adding them directly to my collection. I will even keep the envelope for the awesome rainbow sparkle Rocket Post stamp. THANK YOU!!!
Comment: I LOVED your bicycling haiku and the bicycle PC too :) I'm not quite like the "dare devil" cyclist that's pictured on the air mail stamp - LOL! P.S. Nice vintage stamps - I love to use them too.
Comment: Hi Amy, Thank you for the very nice US cover. Your carved prancing bunny is just exquisite! UN stamps are some of my favorites too. I am looking forward to the next issue of UN Indigenous Peoples in October.

And thanks for your nice long note and explanation of the UN postage - I ADORED the UN postage and the little folder paper thing which was housing it. What fun! I really appreciate it. It was so interesting :) Thank you again!
Comment: First things first, your hand carved stamps are amazing. What detail you have placed in them and what fun, mail animals! I also love my ATC made from your finest crap, pretty awesome. Are the stamps some of your work? Love them both. You need to sell them if you don't already. Super fun swap. Loved it all. Thank you. Hugs, Mona
Comment: Thank you so much for your mail. I loved everything you sent to me, you made my horrible day into a much better day.
I really love the technic you are using, I have never seen it before. Is there is an option to buy this rubber for stamps in the internet? I would love to try in myself!
If I could give more than 5+ heart, you would give.
I'm still so excited!
By the way, I put the fishes picture in a frame and I can't stop looking at it :)
Comment: Hey Amy! So happy to see your mail come!! Your stamps are so great -I loved them, and the cards you sent were just my style (I think my husband and I drove over the Bay Bridge in a horrible rain storm once...hard to say for certain -could hardly see anyrhing...super stressfull...almost as bad as some of our snow storms, ha ha ;P ). The lovely calligraphy envelope popped open enroute, but hopefully got lost. Thanks so much!
Comment: Omg thank you so much for the stamps!!! I just started collecting postage from all my mail the last few months so that was an amazing addition!!! If you are interested in maybe doing a private swap with me, I'd be willing to trade anything I got for awesome stamps of yours :-D
Comment: There are not enough hearts in the world for what I got in the mail today. The mail art and ATC were amazing on their own, but the stamps and propaganda sticker were too much! Thank you for everything - it made my day :)

Comment: Thanks for the PC, Amy! I went to San Fran when I was little but don't remember much of the trip. I have a friend that is working there.. I should make it a point to go visit him just so I can visit! Thanks for the PC!

Comment: Hi Amy, Thanks for the cool penquin ATC and for those wonderful old Everglades stamps. Wish I could find more. Also loved your stamp-bedecked envie. I like mail that's fun even before you open it!
Comment: Thanks so much for the fun envelope! For getting your feet wet, you sure have it together. I LOVE the stamps that you carved. For some reason, I am really intimidated to try that. This was a great envelope...it's hard to pick a favorite...the green stamps, the rivet page, and the language page are all up there!
Comment: Wow! You are on the ball! I'm still in the process of making mine. I love, love, love the ATC! You did a super job. Where did you get the postage stamp cut out? I would really like to have a set of those. I really like the way you tied it all in with the page from the book! Thank you so much! And I love the extra goodies, too.
Response: Hello, thanks for the kind words. I'm really glad you liked the ATC. The postage stamp is from a set of Wonderland Post rubber stamps from Rubberstamp Ave. They sell them as a set with other Alice stamps, and they sell them individually, too. Have fun!
Comment: What can I say... I want to give you 20 red hearts! I love my two post cards!!! LOVE THEM! Wow, I feel very spoiled and just loving it... You are very creative, sweet, and thoughtful~ Many blessings to you! Thank You~
Comment: Got your pretty card today :) Thanks a lot!!
I was wondering, how much postage you put on it, because it arrived with only 22 cents and it was not cancelled. I figure, one stamp may have fallen off. Just curious... Thanks again :))
Response: Hi, yes, a stamp must have fallen off. I sent it with four, maybe five of them. At least the post office didn't hold on to the card until you ponied up the dime!
Comment: hello & big thanks for the very classy
postage stamp card with great vintage
stamps ... good start on swap-bot: hope
your exchanges are more than
satsifying & you make the most
of summer season outside!!
