Comment: Thanks, Susan - love the moose! My brother went to Alaska for 10 days last summer and somehow never saw a moose. He was out doors fishing most of the time, so I asked him "how could that be?!"
Comment: Susan... thank you for taking the time to shop for a Halloween card to send the PCs in! Very thoughtful. I love the PCs. Route 66! You don't hear about that much anymore. The Rainbow card reminds me of the rainbows I've been seeing since moving to Florida. We don't have the ocean in our background, but I love them against the palm trees. Thank you again so much for sending me these wonderful PCs and Halloween Card :-) <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Comment: Hi Susan thank you for the Black Bear PC. We are having lots of sightings within my community of black bears...Local schools have had two lock downs in the past month because of bears and we also had a wounded bear in Thetis Lake area which is practically my back yard...someone had shot it with a bow arrow and they tracked it for a bit then lost the trail due to heavy rain...sightings of bears and cougars are increasing in numbers. My greatest fear. Happy October swapping peace love light
Comment: Thank you for the California map. I didnโt have that one. You live in such a pretty area! Warm weather, palm trees, and gorgeous architecture. Want to trade states?? You know you want to live in Michigan, right!? ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Comment: Thanks for the lovely Hawaii card! I love it. Hawaii was one of my mom's favorite places and my sister was married there, on Maui. My auntie lives there and I'm stillll waiting for an invite :):):) Have an awesome day :):)
Comment: Thanks for the card from your cruise, Sue! I did one years ago too, and on that stop I took the White Pass & Yukon train. It was fun, but I missed seeing the town because it was an all day thing.
Comment: I heard that Alaska is supposed to be absolutely beautiful. The best place I have seen the northern lights yet is Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, that is where my love for the Northern Lights to developed. I would love to see the Alaska Northern Lights some day. Thank you for the beautiful PC.
Comment: Hi Susan thank you for the "book shelves" PC. Yes I agree the library is perfect for browsing...I like to just wander the rows until something catches my eye..I've become acquainted with little known authors who write wonderfully. Happy September swapping peace love light
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful ocean sunrise. We were not near the ocean but when my husband and I were younger we would do a lot of camping at the local lakes and I would love the sunrises or sunsets over the lakes.
Comment: Susan! I have received your postcard and I hope that everything is going a little smoother on your end. Family can be tough, but sometimes it makes us love each other even more in the end. Good look on your game this week! - Dev
Comment: Thanks for sharing! I have family in San Clemente and when I would visit we would walk down to a locals only beach. It was so beautiful and so peaceful! People think Malibu is the quintessential surf town but no, it's totally San Clemente.
Comment: Thank you, very nice answers to the questions. I found it very interesting that you live in Orange County, you see, I used to live in Orange County. This was many years ago, when my boys were young, this was in the 60's. we lived for several years in Garden Grove, we used to watch the fireworks they shot off at Disneyland, don't know if they do that any more. Thank you for the clever little extras and the interesting post cards. This was a fun and interesting swap. I feel like I met a new friend. Marcia
Comment: Thanks, Susan! At the risk of sounding like a travel snob, I'm been to this card's destination as well--had lunch in that Hard Rock and checked out all the sites at Grauman's too. I would like to see a taping of Jimmy Kimmel's show--that would be fun! Have you been?
Comment: Thanks for the Seattle card, Susan! Hubby & I went last Aug. and the Space Needle has had a change where the lower floor isn't a restaurant anymore-it has a glass floor that you can walk on--it's pretty cool. I know you'll have a GREAT time on your cruise-I did a Princess Cruise out of Vancouver and it was fab.
Comment: Hello there, first of all thank you so much for all the lovely postcards you added to the letter... so nice! Thank you for being so open in your 100 truths, about the good and the bad. I will have to add the Wanda Sykes Netflix special to my list. Enjoy your upcoming trips :) All the best!
Comment: THIS is beautiful and I sure would love to have that view every night!! Thanks so much!! I am now reminded of how much I LOVED our Hawaii vacation--- now I wanna go back!! LOL!! Have a GREAT SUMMER!
Comment: Hi Susan! Thanks for the super cool card of Chicago on the 4th. I don't have plans yet but I may either go up the Space Needle or just watch the fireworks from a small lawn with my dog. Our fireworks here in Seattle go off from a barge in the middle of Lake Union (a lake situated in the center of the city). Happy Fourth!
Comment: Gorgeous PC -Lucky me to add this to my collection. I am a mountain and moon girl. I had to display this PC where I can see it daily. So it's on my lamp by my laptop so I can glance up and be wowed. Thank You Susan
Comment: Who doesn't like to come home and find a big envelope in the mailbox? The flower card touched my heart :-) as well as the beautiful paper you used for the lists. Thank you for sharing all these places with me. The Petrified Forest and Painted Desert woke my interest! And yes, Italy is definitely worth a visit; i recommend Cefalรน in Siciliy.
Comment: what an entertaining list of tv shows ... it's nice having so many channels: something for everyone! the vintage glacier postcard is magnificent ... too sad they are melting, but great to have pix for reminder of what was!
Comment: I love fireworks! Our city is having two displays this year, one at our minor league baseball stadium and one over the lake. I'm pretty excited to set up at the park with a picnic dinner and wait for dark. I hope you enjoy your time with your daughter and family.
Comment: Thanks for sending me a coffee card (as based in my profile)! Very thoughtful of you for an otherwise sender's choice swap. Lately I've been drinking tea lattes though. I guess it goes in waves. Cheers!
Comment: Thank you Susan for sharing the super cute birds ๐ฆ PC. I tried to get the new PC stamps at a post office the other day and only rolls was available... darn it .. Iโm impatiently waiting.. lol!
Comment: This lovely PC was very special because we haven't swapped for such a long time! It's good to hear from you again. Enjoy your AK cruise! We haven't been to southeast since our daughter moved to the lower 48, but it is beautiful! Happy swapping!
Comment: awww puppy dog!! I have a Bluetick hound, Molly and a part Blood hound, Daisy and A Siamese, Kim. I feed mine "cookies" I make, whole wheat flour, eggs, peanut butter(safe) unsweetened applesauce, dash of yogurt. Thank you so much for postcard!!
Comment: Hi Susan! You are a busy girl! I am retired, too; isn't it great?
I love the postcards you sent! Takes me back to our honeymoon in NO. We went to Al Hirt's place, and Al Hirt was there. My husband was so excited! Me, not so much...
Thanks for the wash tape (always a good choice!)
Love the other PSs - CO (my sister lives there); Las Vegas (I won the first time I played - haha - the nickel slots) and Seattle - beautiful PC!
Have a grand time in Las Vegas!
Comment: Thanks for the awesome bird card! (FFR if you address portrait, apparently you need a 55 cent stamp). I love your 8 facts, and I am ALSO a huge procrastinator! I wonder how people who aren't that work?
Comment: Thank you for the awesome orca postcard!!! I hope you see some on the cruise! We went whale watching for my birthday one year and we saw a blue whale feeding. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life <3
Comment: What a beautiful autumn-ly colored card! I LOVE! Here's something stupid - there was an added charge (not stupid you, only 20 cents and I just paid it and am not asking or worried about it) but it said for "square" but the card isn't even square, so the mail lady told me it's because the address is written vertically instead of horizontally. I had to laugh. And I was not even impressed with your son, since my daughter just turned THIRTY!!!!! hahahaaa!!!! (okay but it is scary each time your kid turns 21 right?) I used to knit like crazy! What do you knit? I made sweaters, blankets, and hats. For small people. Up to about elementary school, not following into middle. I would visit you, but your house would kill me with its cats, but I wish I could have one! Anyway, thanks and I'm sorry for the late rating. I've not been well and am catching up tonight.
Comment: Hi Susan, thank you for the wonderful botanical PC. I'm sure it arrived some days ago, but I've been out of town taking care of my mom after her latest chemo treatment. Hopefully I can start some planting tomorrow, although it is supposed to rain all night here. Our spring is always so darn wet. Drives me crazy. The weeds love the rain of course.
Comment: Love, love, love the postcard!!! Thank you so much for sending it to me. I'll be posting it on my Instagram page (trishaspostcards). I'm signing off of SwapBot and doing more direct swaps over there now.
Comment: Thanks for the PC and facts. My two girls are in their mid 30โs. It is sad when we suddenly realize how fast they have grown.
I like gymnastics too. It is hard to find much on TV, except for the Olympics.
Comment: Thanks for the olde tyme card. My family goes to church on Sundays, even Easter, but my wife and her parents are different religion that I am so we go separately. Have a great time at bingo or with your daughter. Rich
Comment: I really enjoyed Nancy Drew books when I was younger too! I heard there's a movie out or something? Have you seen it? It's really nice that you have that memory of going to the library every week. That's something really nice to hold onto. :)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely PC and facts.
I wonder how the clean up from the fires is going and if many are rebuilding. Like so much of the news, it is a huge story for a few days and then... nothing about it.
Comment: Beautiful PC with lum of the city and the moon. My Brother lived and worked there after he finished in the Air Force. I should have gone to visit while he was there. Enjoyed your note! Thanks Mary
Comment: Thanks for this great PC! I have a friend, here, from MA. When he went home, I asked him to bring me a map PC from there....he had to draw me one because he couldn't find one!!! This one is very special to me! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Susan, it sounds like our temperatures are pretty equivalent in the winter. Though this winter AZ has been colder than I think it's been in the last 10 years!! Of course our summers will make the coastal summers look downright balmy. Happy swapping.
Comment: So happy you chose this post card for me. I took a train from Ephrata WA to Seattle to catch a plane. I was there less than one hr. took cab straight to the airport. I didn't see the sights or grab a postcard. This is great and is a nightscape with a moon- Perfect! Thanks so much
Comment: U never fail to put a smile on my face. I love the owls and I have owl magnets and necklaces and shirts. My late MIL loved owls and so I kinda picked it up from her. Thanks for the lovely stamps too. Have a great weekend sue!
Comment: Hi Susan! Thank you for the Oregon Covered Bridge PC. Love both the state & the bridge!! My niece loves bingo, but I'm not really a fan. Sounds like you really enjoy it. Spending time with your daughter is always special. Thanks again ~ Take care~Judy
Comment: Susan, thank you for the postcard of the London sites. The postcard looked like it swam its way here. I was sopping wet. I believe the postman must have dropped it in a puddle. With our postman anything can happen. When it dried, it was fine. Shirley
Comment: Thank you for your lovely answers to the 30 questions. Watercolor is the least controllable medium and so it is intimidating. I like it but don't do it too often due to that need to control. Thanks for the lovely postcards too. Happy swapping.
Comment: I've been in the travel industry almost 40 years and to Calif. countless times, but have never been to "the Del" which is terrible. I know I'd love it. One of these years I'll have to make it there! Thanks for the nice card.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely flower postcard - just received today. I have tried vege gardening and sunflowers but the monkeys that troop through our yard destroy them. I think I should try flower planting instead.
Comment: Iโve been to Oregon too! Itโs a lovely place. It so nice neat the beach and then the mountains and the city. You mentioned casinos. Iโm not one for gambling. I hate watching my money disappear. But at least thereโs something for everyone. Thank you for sending. Happy New Years!!
Comment: I just love the postcard--so cute! Your cat must be beautiful. It's funny, I also have a beautiful cat named Bella! She looks just like a Ragdoll, but she was just abandoned so we don't really know anything about her background.
Have a great 2019!
Comment: Trying to breathe here from the cuteness overload attack! OMGoodness these two foxes on the front of this PC. I am going to faint. I see you have a swapping goal like I have. Organize PCs Very Important! I did see a joke that you might find funny while storing Christmas decorations. "Alexa. Clean up the Christmas Decorations. Well, it was worth a shot." We need Rosie the Robot Maid from the Jetsons for that. Hehe ๐๐ฆ๐
Comment: I had to go pick up your postcard from the post office this morning. Postage due .21. I asked why? They said because stickers were placed on it. Gosh..... I have never heard of this. I am so sorry it took this long to get your postcard delivered. I am still giving you a heart because the penguin globe is so adorable and I do not think anyone has ever heard of because of stickers placed on a post card, they charge more. My Post office is so darn strict. Is it because of the gov't shut-down possibly?
Comment: Sorry for the late rating. Thank you for the cute card & stickers. It was great having you as my partner in so many Christmas card swaps! I think you sent me a different card every time! Happy New Year!!
Comment: thank you for the Disney postcard. i hope all your shopping arrived in time. I only received a Christmas gift i ordered today, but my sons birthday is in february so its not too bad i can put it towards his birthday instead.
Comment: Thank you for the Beauty and the Beast card. Christmas has now passed. I hope you did get everything done. It must have been hard for people in your area after the devastating fires.
I hope that you will have a quiet new year and that 2019 will be happy and fulfilling for you and your family. Best wishes
Comment: Must have forgot to hit save this rating the first time I rated you. Love the gold sparkle on the Christmas tree branches-it has to be on of my favorite cards in the bling section!!! Happy New Year of swapping!
Comment: Thank you for sharing your New Year's resolutions with me! Decluttering my home is is something I too am working on. I read the book, The Joy Of Less, and found its practices easier to follow and less daunting. I hope it can help you as well. Happy New Year!
Comment: Iโm so sorry you had to go through those terrible fires! No words can say how unbelievable it is. Iโm happy your house was saved, but it must be so hard for you to see your neighbors. Blessings to you and your family๐บ
Comment: Must resend. Didnโt receive. Hi sue. Received and it did have your username. That may have been why I wasnโt able to rate or I assumed it was from a pen pal. Merry Christmas and thank you for following through.
Comment: Thank you for the post card. It looks a beautiful place. I think I could settle there as well. I stay quite close to the coast. Actually it's the Firth of Forth (the Forth estuary.) Nearer the sea it's quite attractive, at our end the view is dominated by one of Europe's biggest oil refinerys and chemical plants
Comment: Thanks for the resend. I'm sorry my mail messed up and it all went missing. You're right, traffic in that part of California is TERRIBLE. It's the only thing I dislike about that, otherwise I love visiting
Comment: I love this PC- the photography is extraordinary how the shadows and and light are captured. I love night scape photography and this PC shall forever be one of the top PC's ever. Thx for the update on your experience with the Ca fire. Best of Wishes for your health, safety and home.

Comment: Hello Susan, thanks a lot for your beautiful postcard! I visited Hollywood years ago and, of course, remember the hand and foot prints. But never got such a good card of the theatre and it looks much better then in the 1990โs! Greetings from Germany!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful cat PC! My cat has a lot of white fur and I have white cat hair everywhere. Even if I'm trying to be careful because I don't want to show up somewhere covered in white cat hair I still find hair on me. LOL!
Comment: Love your foliage PC. I needed some fall here in Florida. It has been over 95degrees all month still. It usually starts to โcool downโ for Florida but not this year. Still better than snow!
Comment: Hi Again Susan,
Thank you for the nice train PC.
Kids make me happy to. I am fortunate to have almost always had young ones around. Our own two girls, then our neighbor's daughter, currently our good friends 4-year-olds, and our own little granddaughter.
I love nothing more than hearing the happy sounds of children as they play and explore the world.
Comment: Hi Susan,
Thank you so much for the lovely PC and message.
I should take art classes. I love to drawer and paint but I am not good at it. I keep practicing but am probably just practicing my errors.
Best Wishes to You,

Comment: Hi Susan! Thank you for the queen Mary PC as i have been on that ship when it was parked at Long Beach. Maybe it is still there after many years. Did you get this weeks goals done? Comment: This is a beautiful baby! And it's fun to hear others are as crazy about cats as I am. My dad kept a special pillow on his bed JUST for the cat, and no one else was allowed to use it! Thank you!
Comment: Oh my goodness I think I would melt in temps in the 90's haha! thank goodness it cooled down to the low 80's for ya! we are in our fall temps so I don't think we will see anything warmer then the 40's now. Love this time of year though with the cooler temps and no bugs. :) Thank you for the great card!
Comment: Thank you so much Susan! This butterfly - we call it admiral - is a frequent guest of our Northern garden. Usually they appear in August. This year there were plenty of them. So beautiful! Thanks a lot for the card! ๐๐๐ฆ
Comment: Susan, thank you for the postcard of the Vermont foliage. We are going to my husband's grandson's wedding in October in MA. I am looking forward to seeing some of this foliage. We don't have any here where I live in NC. Shirley
Comment: Thanks for the Did you know? Tiger PC. Very interesting. It says that the Tiger stripes are unique to each cat. It reminds me of our fingerprints. If tigers could commit crime, that's how they'd be indentified. Lol
Comment: I have received so many things from you over the years swapping that I knew this pc was you from the handwriting. Lol Thanks for a cute dog pc! We had a yorkie named Max. He was actually a big boy, weighing almost 20 pounds. He looked like a giant next to a friendโs lil 4 pound one. Lol
Comment: Hi Susan. Thnaks for the lovely card. I really like it. Yes the gardens are a niec place to visit. I've lived here about 3 years and have yet to go to Quarry Park. Riverside has some great places to take the grandkids sledding!
Comment: Beautiful black nightscape big full moon postcard. I recently came West for the first time and I took a train from Ephrata, WA to Seattle, WA. I did not get to see the Needle as I immediately got on a plane for CA. I did not get any postcards from there so thanks so much for this one. Enjoyed your note
Comment: Love the bunnies so cute thank you. The resend is awesome
Response: Will send a new card out to you today to rectify this situation. Wrote you a note explaining that the card was sent but must have been lost in the mail. You should receive the card within the next few days.
Comment: Hi Susan!
Thank you for sending me a nice card. Oregon has several nice lighthouses and always a joy to see them guarding the coast. I hope to visit and see the lighthouses there someday. Best regards!
Comment: What a pretty boy in all his collaged splendor! Love it! As for me, I'd love a kitten too but my kitty is too stand-offish now and if I introduced a kitten I'd lose him forever and can't have that! Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the great card. I have not been to the New England states but want to do a drive in the Fall one day. I loved the very long covered bridge in the pic as well. I love covered bridges.
Comment: I love black nightscape PCs with a moon illumination and the lights of the city. Perfect choice for me. My Brother lived there a couple of years and I should have visited back then.
THanks so much! Mary

Love throwing these into a conversation with friends which usually ends up like where did you get that last question?which usually Iโll begin as Did you know...? Haha! People seem to want to know where i find these little tidbits! Thanks!
